Upon having the kiss the Maiden blew hit him, Celtic Guardian felt a surge of feelings for the Maiden. She's suddenly so beautiful, he thought. He looked down on his chest, where the kiss hit him to see a pink heart. Is this heart responsible for my sudden loving feelings? he questioned. He looked down at the Maiden and into her deep eyes, and then back up at the Lich. No. I love the maiden because she is kind and gorgeous. I must defeat the Lich for her. In response to the Lich, he stated, "So why did you hurt this young lady then? If you did not wish to fight, you would not pick on others weaker than you."

"You are misunderstanding. The lady is deceiving you." The Lich had indeed spoke the truth, but would the Celtic Guardian come to reason? Keeping it's eyes on the Elfish warrior, the lich spoke again. "I was once the scholar, the Great Dezard. Perhaps you have heard of me?" It really wanted to avoid fighting. It really hoped the Celctic Guardian would put it's sword away but... The lich gripped it's staff, but not within the elfish warrior's view.

Great Dezard? The name rings a bell, but I cannot put my finger on it. Wait. The lady is deceiving me? Celtic Guardian glanced down at the maiden, confused. Then, without the warrior noticing, the heart on his chest began to beat faster. No, she would never do that, he decided. She is too beautiful to commit any sin. I must protect her from this lying fiend. A pink aura began to glow around him, signifying the Maiden gaining control through the spell Cupid's Kiss. He changed into a battle stance, ready to strike. "It does not matter who you were," the Celtic Guardian replied. "All that matters is who you are now. And you are a fiend."

"Take a look at your self. Am i really the fiend? I wish to avoid conflict but here you are seeking it out. If you strike i will defend my self, please brave-elven warrior. Open your eyes." The Lich spoke firmly, it wanted to get through to the Celtic Guardian. The lich moved it's skeltal arm so that it would be in front of his chest, where his heart would be. "You can do it. I know who you are...maybe not you, but i've known some of your predecessors. At least, back when i was still alive" The Lich kept it's eyes constantly on the Elven warrior

The Celtic Guardian was not sure what to do. Did the Lich really not want conflict? Or did it hope to trick me into joining with him against the maiden? The warrior looked down at his love, who was still kneeling, quietly smiling. She has not tried to convince me like the Lich is. The Maiden Counter began to beat faster. Now the guardian understood. She trusts me. She knows I will make the right decision, to side with her. He looked back up at the Lich, then back down at his love. She nodded. That perfect figure, glossy hair, those kind eyes. I should have never doubted her. He launched a strike at the fiend.

There was a stange "Clunk" like sound as the elven warrior's sword struck against the bone of The Lich. It seemed to have handle it pretty well. The Lich pushed against the sword, but it did so just to keep it from coming closer. It did not push with malevolent or evil force, it still wanted the Celctic Guardian to see the world infront of it for as it really was. "Pull your self together." It tried to shout it with emotion but couldn't. "Please, i don't wish to fight."

"You should have thought of that before hurting my lady," the guardian exclaimed, pushing harder on against the Lich. He turned his head to the side to look back at the maiden. Her eyes showed fear and her hands covered her mouth in horror. I must finish this fight soon. She does not deserve fear; she deserves happiness. The maiden lowered her hands to give a reassuring smile. "You hurt this young maiden, and then you try to convince me to go against her? You truly are a fiend." He moved back for a moment, and then the warrior slashed again at a different angle.

"I do not wish to turn you against anyone. I want you to.." As the lich spoke those words, it flung it's staff around and used it in an attempt to parry the elven warrior's blade. "Put your sword away!" It yelled out as their weapons clashed against one another. The staff dulled out the sounds from the impact but the staff did not suffer any damage. The Lich's eyes burned a bright red, the skeletal systme which comprised of it was standing firmly at it's ground.

"You pose a threat to my love. I will not put my sword away. I will defeat you," the enticed guardian exclaimed. He was blinded by the Maiden's charm but fought fiercer than he ever fought before. He pushed his sword down harder, trying to knock the staff out of the Lich's hand. "If you submit and apologize for your actions," the Celtic Guardian paused and then continued, "And then leave my love alone, then I will place my sword away. But if you use tricks or attempt anything that would harm my lady, you will not escape my wrath."

The Maiden was overjoyed with her new slave. She did not even have to speak a single word, only lie there and look cute, and he has followed her wishes perfectly. It is clear that the Lich would be a difficult foe to defeat. She cannot waste Celtic Guardian on such a foe like him, so the deal he just proposed a second ago only made her happier. "Honey," she said from behind him, still lying on the ground, "you are so nice, but be careful, this mean man is tricky."

"Fine." The Lich pressed hard, to knock the swordsmen away. The Lich took the staff to it's side and then attached it to it's back. "If that is what will end this conflict, i shall disappear." Fushioh Richie took a few step's back while keeping it's eyes on both the Maiden and the Elven-warrior. A small jewel on the tip of it's staff gave off a faint glow, and an enigmatic symbol appeared beneath the Lich's feet. "Farewell, Elven'Knight." The Symbol began to emit a darkness which started to cause the Lich's body to fade away with the surroundings.

As the Lich disappeared, Celtic withdrew his blade to his hilt. He turned to the maiden, who was still lying on the ground. Her face, although happy, seemed a little worried. She seems shaken from this entire situation, thought the warrior. I better comfort her. He walked over to the maiden and knelt beside her, saying, "My lady, are you alright?" He extended his hand, and continued, "That evil being shall cause you no more harm. Please forgive me for not arriving at your aid sooner, my love."

"I am unharmed," she said, as her face lightened, much to the elf's delight. "I forgive you for not arriving to my aid sooner. You fought bravely." She took his hand and he helped her up, his other arm supporting her back. She barely had to move a muscle, and she was up on her feet. Despite the "horrors" she just went through, her dress was unwrinkled, and dropped perfectly right at her feet. Her hair was polished and brushed to perfection; the glossy, wavy strands dropped right below her waist. Her makeup was undisturbed by her tears. Her eyes gleamed. "Honey," she said, her hand still in her lover's, "can you do me a favor?"

He was quick to answer, "Anything." The Celtic Guardian smiled, looking at his love's overjoyed face, into her deep eyes. My dear maiden is unhurt, thank goodness. She seems pleased with me as well. The maiden counter began to beat faster, after returning to its original speed some time ago. But I am not done with my duties yet. Her wish is my command, and once she is done wishing and all of her dreams are complete, I will stay remain at her side.

"Hm," the Maiden thought for a moment. There are a few things I have on my to-do list, but first I will start with something simple, get him used to doing my every wish. She looked to the side, saddened. "I'm so hungry. I don't even remember when the last time I had eaten. After that terrifying experience, I don't know how much longer I can go on without food..." The Maiden let go of the warrior's hand, much to his disappointment, and continued, "You wouldn't happen to have some food, would you?"

While the Maiden was speaking the maiden counter lost momentum. A thought poked through Celtic Guardian's love struck mind. Hey, wait, what am I doing? This doesn't seem right... He looked down at the Maiden, who was looking to the side, saddened, and then the maiden counter picked up momentum again, as if it was attacking these thoughts. Never mind that. My lady is hungry. I better feed her. Celtic Guardian pulled out a wrapped pouch and untied it, revealing a ripe apple. He went on one knee and held the apple up to her. "Here you are, my love."

The Maiden smiled and took the apple from him with her small, elegant hands. She did not respond with a thank you or anything, she simply giggled cutely and took a small bite. As Celtic Guardian stood himself up, the Maiden said, "Celtic Guardian, now that I am fed and safe, you have to find that Lich and kill him for me. You wouldn't want that fiend to hurt me again, would you?" She looked into his eyes with a worried look, and suddenly without warning, jumped at him and gave him a hug.

The thoughts came back again. Why am I helping this girl out so much? That was the only food I had! Suddenly, these thoughts were dispersed when the Maiden hugged him, her warm body pressed up against his. The maiden counter began to beat faster. Celtic Guardian wrapped his arms around the Maiden. He rested his chin on top of her soft, glossy brown hair on top of her head. "My lady, it would be my pleasure," he replied in a love struck voice. "I would never want to see you hurt."

Maiden released Celtic Guardian from her hug, and he did the same. "You're so sweet," Maiden said, smiling cutely. She then pressed her fingers to her lips and blew a kiss in the shape of a heart to the warrior. It melted into his chest, causing him to blush and the heart on his chest to grow larger. The pink aura around him intensified. There, Maiden thought. Not only will his love for me grow even larger, but he will not become free of my charm for a little while longer. She giggled. "Let's go, honey."

"Yes, my dear," he replied in a love struck voice. The Maiden suddenly became even more perfect to Celtic Guardian than she was before. Her giggle was music to his ears. Whatever doubts he had disappeared. Beauty as great as hers must be preserved. I must protect her; her wish is my command. I will do anything for her. She is perfect. Thoughts like these rang through the guardian's charmed head, as he took her hand as the pair began walking down the road.

What started as a shrill scream that echoed throughout the forest was brought down to a strange gurgling sound as blood filled the mouth of the Sangan at the Swordstalker's feet, stifling the creatures last wails. Blood covered the swordarm of the Swordstalker, and he gazed at his blood covered arm ever smiling his strange and insane smile. This was but the latest in a series of creatures killed since he entered the forest, and the Swordstalker was by no means to stop soon. He did not go a day without killing at least five victims, however small. It was almost as if he had to, as if his conciousness would not alow him to stray from his own evil.

The Swordstalker trudged off, leaving the corpse of the Sangan. The grass seemed to curl away from his feet, almost as if the plants themselves could not bear to be close to his evilness. With his arm and sword still dripping with blood, he trudged out of the treeline onto the dirt road. At the sound of footsteps, he turned his manaical head to see just what in its right mind would opproach him. First he noticed the elf, a Celtic Guardian he realized, for though evil the Swordstalker was not without intelligence, be it twisted. The elf was too distracted, it seemed, by the creature next to him to notice the evil feind not but fifteen feet from him. The other figure appeared to be a maiden of sorts, wearing gold no less. The beauty of the maiden didnt even register in the Swordstalker's mind, for in his evil existence there was no room for kindness, compassion or love. Inside there was only Vengeance, hate and insanity. He turned to face them fully, and his crazy grin seemed to spead wider. "Oh goody goody, and elf and a frail maiden, just for me!" He said aloud, on purpose no doubt, to make his presence known to these two beings who apparently had not a sense on their head.

Upon hearing the Swordstalker, Celtic Guardian stepped in front of the maiden. "Please stay away," he said to her, although his eyes were fixed on the sword-wielding fiend. He withdrew his blade, knowing this fiend meant trouble for his lady. I must defeat him quickly. He raised his sword and took a fighting position. "I do not wish to harm you, for my lady's protection is most important. But if you wish to harm her, please state so now, and your death will be quick."

The manaical echoing laughter of the Swordstalker filled the air as the Guardian spoke. "MY death will be quick? Ehahahahaha! Poor little elf, I'll almost feel bad about slitting your throat and impaling your head on a pike, well then again, probably not." The Swordstalker's right hand gripped a bit tighter on his word as he raised it and pointed it at the elf. "Maybe I'll have some fun with the lady there after I'm done with you. It's not like you'd be in any position to object..."

With that, he rushed the elf, swinging from the right, and aiming his blade at the elf's throat.

This fiend! To even suggest torturing my lady shall earn him death by my blade. Celtic Guardian parried the Swordstalker's strike swiftly. He's stronger than that Lich from earlier. The maiden counter began beating faster and and pink aura around him intensified. I must fight for my lady. "You're so cocky, demon," said the warrior, "and that shall be your downfall!" He pulled back his blade and jumped forward swiftly, his sword aiming for the monster's chest.

The Swordstalker swiftly parried the elf's blow aside, retreating a few feet to regroup. "Me? Cocky? Never." He said as he began circling the elf. "If anyone is cocky, its you, Elf. Its funny, any sane person would be more worried about themselves than about some random dame they found in the woods." He said, as he cricled ever closer. The Swordstalker had no idea of the enchantment placed on the Guardian, but it wouldn't have mattered to him anyway. he lashed oout yet again, aiming this slice at the elf's left arm. He enjoyed tourturing his prey before making the kill.
