Big Bad Pennar
THE ULTIMATE JUMP! ISSUE 1-1 Since the release of The New Sets, Terrorbound Souls, and the recently Released Forgotten Dimensions, Many unique decks have been on the rise, Since the banlist rotated all other sets in an attempt to fix the meta of the TCG. However, The new CCG has seen rise to Meta-Worthy Decks. The Woodland Deck would have seen Meta after Forgotten Dimensions, but Thanks to the New Side-board card, Herbivore's Greed, That will not happen, but amongst the greed comes Fury as a huge swarm of Giant bugs known as the Furyswarm make their mark in Forgotten Dimensions. The Furyswarm are Super-Intelligent Insectoids under Constant Rage, They have been known to make Various Machines and cores filled with a Sap that they just love to drink. They are not Tame and are very mad at thier Wielder, when their effects activate, Their Controller takes Damage equal to their Defense, and during each end phase, Whether it be The controller's or their opponent, If not appeased with the sight of a Furyswarm core, They snack on their controller for half their attack. however, these big bad Bugs do have many Advantages Against their Competetors. Expert Furyswarm users have been known to Exploit their effects and use them to their advantage, allowing them to Swarm and even One Turn Kill their opponent with unreal Consistency, and sometimes can even First Turn Kill their opponent. Lets Boil down the Known Members and their Insidious Machines of the Furyswarm: Varaku, The Main Swarming Engine, Capable of calling another Furyswarm to the field from your hand, and with a Massive 2000 ATK, Most monsters of it's Level do not stand any form of chance against this one hell of a Bug, Having 1000 DEF on the other hand, it would not be wise to put this Monster Bug in Defense position. Rakuva, The Tunneler, Capable of attacking your oppponent Directly, tunneling under all monsters your opponent controls, and at 2000 ATK, Your opponent also faces one hell of a beating, Having 1000 DEF, it is also not a good idea to Place this Monster Bug in Defense position Kurava, The Destructor, Capable of Clearing a card from the field, whether it be a Pesky Monster, or a Possible Face-down that could ruin anyone's day, It isn't as Strong as Varaku and Rakuva at 1800 ATK, but can still take a beating, It also has 1000 DEF and should not be placed in Defense position Aravuk, The Shield, Indestructible in battle, It serves as a powerful wall, however, every time it faces a battle, It eats your face off, Like Kurava, it has 1800 ATK, and can fare very well in attacking, Like the other 3 Cousins, it also has 1000 DEF. The Final Known Member that makes the very fancy Spotlight is Urakva, The Searcher, This monster bug can search for it's Comrades or even some of the insidious Machines Made and Used by the Furyswarm, Including the Core that appeases all members of the Furyswarm, He is extremely deadly Combined with Varaku for a quick Swarm, Like Kurava and Aravuk, It has 1800 ATK, and like all of the 4 cousins, 1000 DEF, so it is also not wise to put this Monster Bug in Defense position. Now for the Machines, The Core of the Furyswarm keeps them from biting at you, and even Negates card effects that causes Discarding(which might not be common right now, but they might get more common as more sets are released), and even Punishes your opponent by causing the Furyswarm to bite them instead of their controller. However, you can also force this phenomenom by Playing "Furyswarm Tax Hike", which causes Discarding. The Furyswarm's Restoration Machine turns the bite caused by both their effect and their Lack of Morale into Life Gain, which in turn can be used to fuel other effects used by the Furyswarm. The Furious Switchblade is currently the only piece of equipment that isn't searchable by Urakva, but it's effect makes up for it, Not only it Tags out a Furyswarm into another one, it increases the ATK of that Furyswarm summoned by 1000. However, this small knife bites as well, but only bites when it's Wielder bites, it cannot be reflected by the effect of the Core or restored by the Restoration machine. The Furyswarm's Molting Machine is currently the only form of Revival exclusive to these guys, By Tributing a Furyswarm Monster, it special summons another Furyswarm monster from the Graveyard and you also gain Life Points equal to half their ATK. however, their very powerful effects are negated(Hey, At least you got a free Beatstick). Looking Forward to the Next Expansion set, You have the Sideboard card, Prime Material Archfiend, as well as Generic Draw and Attack Negation, and Very generic Spell Negation! Big Bad Pennar
My Idea for Duelist Packs since they will be made for the tournament Winner: The typical Duelist pack has almost all reprints from Previous sets, all modeled by a character used by an Anime/Roleplay/Fanfic, however, almost all Duelist packs have 5 new cards, and YVD only Shows the New cards inside the Duelist Pack, so the idea for the "Duelist pack" is just make 5 cards. Since dogfish44 is supposed to make a Fan-fic, That may make a good avenue for Duelist packs. i also have a small idea to make some duels a little more Realistic and make Duelist pack names more realistic, Have a character name... hell, it would be sucky to have numbers in the DP name (Duelist Pack Dogfish44) or a very long Character Name (Duelist Pack Nightingale Flandre), so why not make some character names to replace our names for Duelist Packs, A Pure example is i'm gonna have a "Character" In this club named Nos Feratu(I gave it an evil sound to is cause the Furyswarm Deck is just Evil) so the Duelist packs involving me is "Duelist Pack Nos Feratu |DPNF|"
snowyash
Don't know if anyone has noticed, but it's impossible to play Firework Dragon atm, because it's got a Special Summon restriction.
Big Bad Pennar
"This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon" CTRL+F.... Fusion Summoning cards 2 cards found
dogfish44
Ultimate Fusion is one, and I don't know the other XD Anyway, for my dueling pack, wouldn't DPDF work fine? I'll think of a character name later. Congrats Flandre - Your deck will eventually play the bad guys deck in the fanfic which I may or may not get around to writing. snowyash
As far sa I know the only cards that actually let you pull off fusions are Fusenuo and Ultimate Fusion. Because it doesn't say it's treated as a Fusion Summon a fair few of the Fusions we've got can't be played. Got an example, Miracle Fusion's Text. Whereas, Ultimate Fusion is: Send Fusion Material Monsters that are listed by a Fusion Monster Card from your hand or field to the Graveyard, and Special Summon the Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. Draw 1 card. This is only treated as a Special Summon. As a result the following cards can not be played: - Firework Dragon - Stone Witch - Djinn, Lord of the Sky Either this is a good point or I've overlooked another Fusion card. dogfish44
Good point. Call for an erratta to Ultimate Fusion? We can simply add (This is treated as a Fusion Summon) to the end of the text.
Big Bad Pennar
yep, The other card is Fusenou we may need the Errata on that card too
tommers2008
No errata is needed guys come on use your common sense, Polymerization reads the exact same thing in the TCG and cards like the E-hero fusions all have "This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon." That effect only means they can't be SS from Grave, RFP e.t.c. Guys really that is a simple known fact, Synchro, Fusion and Ritual are all forms of Special Summoning, i thought you would all at least know that. snowyash
Well I'll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. Perhaps I was stuck in an old way of thinking, maybe I was just plain confused, but I've gone and double checked things and my concerns have dropped.
