[spoiler=Spoiler]Gagagigo kicked Minato aside, charged straight at Kefka, and dug his claws into the clown's face.

"You filthy lizard!" Kefka shrieked. "Bah, I can deal with you whenever I please! Solasiro said I was to bring only strong people here, but he told me of you, Gagagigo. I'm taking all three of you to Castlevania!" Kefka pointed at finger as darkness begin to surround him, Eria, Minato, and Gagagigo. "Yes, even you, Minato Namikaze. How you managed to transcend time will be of intrigue to that whiny brat."

 

Kakashi and Temari convinced Naruto that he needed to remain on the island to continue training with Killerbee, keeping their mouths closed about how the whole war was to find Naruto and Killerbee. Sora, having slain Sasuke's Heartless, was asked to serve in the army, and the Keyblade Wielder accepted. Shikamaru had his wounds patched up by from his battle with Raiden, but was still struggling to hold himself up.

"You really think you're going to be alright?" Temari asked.

"It's troublesome, but Gaara said I'm his proxy, so I have no choice but to fight."

Temari looked at Shikamaru with a frown. "Shikamaru, I-"

 

"Everyone, could I have your attention?" the Raikage A bellowed. "Here before you stand your generals! In this Fourth Shinobi War, we will be taking the fight to Akatsuki, and crush them with all our might! Gaara shall serve as your primary commander in this army, but don't think that because the five Kages are behind you that you should depend solely on them! Whether you be shinobi or samurai, our purpose is the same: to defeat Madara Uchiha once and for all! Fight with all the strength you have gathered over your years, and fight for the future that you desire!"

 

Nearly everyone in the army applauded and shouted at the top of their lungs.

Shikamaru turned to Temari. "You wanted to say something?"

Temari blushed, but turned her head away. "Don't you get yourself killed out there! It would look bad for your village if you got killed so easily, not to mention how embarrassing it would be after you took down that Hidan guy like that."

"You're so troublesome."

 

"Sherlock Holmes?" Miles Edgeworth asked his partner Gumshoe.

"Yes," the detective replied. "He flew in this morning, and requested for a meeting with you."

"A casual meeting with the famous detective? Perhaps I should accept his invitation."

"But," Gumshoe continued, "you should know that there have been some investigations of a nearby place called Castlevania."

"Dick, as giftedly talented as I am, I am not one who automatically knows everything he is told. What in blazes is Castlevania, and why am I only now being told of it?"

"I don't know myself. Word has it that the place just appeared somewhere nearby. We may have to investigate."

"Lead the way, my friend!"

 

Gagagigo awoke to find himself chained to a wall, with Eria hanging next to him.

"Solasiro," Kefka said. "I've brought a couple Duel Monsters, but I also found this blonde man. I'd rather kill him myself, but I figured that you would want something from him."

Solasiro's eyes widened as a clawed hand wrapped around Kefka's neck. "This man...he should not be alive."

Kefka smiled. "So I could kill him, then?"

"Absolutely not! He is not even from this time! Return him to the past at once, or else the stability of time could be changed catastrophically. We're lucky that we haven't noticed anything major yet."

"Oh, why do you care? You're mixing the worlds up, what's one man not being in the right time spot going to hurt? If anything, it gives me even more to destroy. Can I start with that lizard? It messed up my pretty face, and deserves to be chewed up like the scaly little pest it is."

Solasiro's grip on Kefka's neck tightened. "Kefka...you are wearing my patience. Right now, you are nothing more than a liability. Consider this your final warning. Return Minato to the past, or I will need no further use of you."

Kefka laughed, forcing Solasiro's hand off his neck. "If you're concerned about keeping things in check, take care of it yourself!"

 

Solasiro turned to face Eria and Gagagigo, but continued speaking to Kefka. "And leave the present unattended to? I'd rather not. Now then, these two are perfect. And to think Shapesnatch had deemed Gagagigo a potential threat. No...this monster is just the thing I need." With a snap of his fingers, Eria fell from her chains. "My apologies for keeping a pretty little thing like you restrained like that."

Eria opened her eyes, trying to focus on Solasiro's face. "You creep. Your clown killed all my friends. Your little flirting won't work on me."

Solasiro sighed. "It's a shame that I'm a Dark Signer and you two are mere Duel Monsters. With that disadvantage, I can turn you two into cards on a whim, but I think I'll just settle for Gagagigo."

Solasiro revealed a blank card, and Gagagigo was drawn inside it.

Eria fought back tears. "Gagagigo! What are you going to do with him?"

"He will simply be added to my deck. Unlike the Signers, I have no reason to offer you up as a sacrifice, so I'll keep you around. The Yuki-onna should be sacrificed for Dracula's revival, so it would be nice to have some permanent female company."

Eria held out her staff and crawled back. "Stay away from me," she whimpered.

 

"Am I interrupting something?" Divine asked, carrying Aki Izayoi in his arms.

"Ah, you've brought the third Signer," Solasiro smiled. "I trust she's still alive?"

"Of course. I was thinking that you would want to witness the Duel of Darkness, although Ccarayhua has gotten rather hungry for revenge."

"Satisfy your Immortal then. I will seek out Jack Atlus and Yusei Fudo."

Divine looked at Eria. "What shall I do with the Water Charmer, then?"

Solasiro turned his head to her. "I suppose the need for company will have to wait. If you require a sacrifice for Ccarayhua, feel free to use her. Where is Lezard?"

 

On cue, Lezard, Madara, and Kabuto stepped in through a swirling portal.

"This is the place?" Madara asked.

Lezard fixed his glasses. "Correct."

Solasiro raised an eyebrow. "New recruits?"

"Of course," Lezard answered. "These two are an important part of a war, and I believe having them on our side will be useful."

Madara laughed. "Don't think too highly of yourself. Let me remind you that I consider this nothing more than a non-aggression pact, not a formal alliance."

"So, we have replacements for Mateus and Ganondorf?" Solasiro asked. "I would feel insulted if I were either of them."

"I see your tongue is as sharp as my partner's," Madara said.

Solasiro ignored his comment. "Enough business talk. Quite a few people have entered this place unannounced. I'll have to give them my proper greeting."

 

The sun began to set as car drove up a hill, making several twists and turns until a great, eery building came into notice.

"This is the place?" Edgeworth said as he stepped out of the car.

"Yep," Gumshoe nodded. "You sure about this?"

"And you're not?" Edgeworth shot back. "You drove us this far, so you must be curious yourself."

Gumshoe scratched his head. "Kind of."

 

Edgeworth and Gumshoe approached the gates, which opened on their own.

"What's going on?" Edgeworth asked. He saw Solasiro standing at the porch leading the doors of the castle.

"So, you are candidates?" Solasiro asked. "You don't look like much."

"I beg your pardon?" Edgeworth asked.

Solasiro raised his right hand, and lightning shot at the nearby tries, knocking down a number of shinobi and samurai. "And neither do any of you."

Temari, Choji, and Shikamaru jumped at Solasiro, but Solasiro shot icicles at the three. Temari swung her fan to shatter the ice, and Choji had his fists expanded to punch them into shards. Shikamaru simply jumped over them and activate his Shadow Manipulation jutsu.

"Gagagigo, your new master summons you!" Solasiro sent out the bipedal lizard, though his eyes glowed red as he charged straight at Gagagigo. Edgeworth merely sighed as he took a revolver from his pocket and shot the lizard in the head.

"I'd hate to dirty my hands with claims of animal cruelty," Edgeworth said, "but it doesn't take a genius to know something's up here, and I don't intend on holding back."

Ah yes, I forgot Anime smarts always means they have to win everything.

 

Anime Smarts does not equal Lawyer Smarts.

Not really. Shika is just one of the best characters. Not in my top 5, but I will not deny he was made well.

 

That, and he's a tactician. So he cannot debate (Rather, it's never been tested), he still has an insanely learning capability.

"They're popular so they suck! I'm voting for the Normal Yu-Gi-Oh! card with no effect that is popular just because a bunch of other cards give it a story."

Roxas, you know as well as I do: If they are popular, they are auto-overrated. This is not true, but it is in the eyes of many.
