"Role Plays to Join" Thread.

Hey, this suggestion is basically just a thread in the Role Playing or preferably the Out Of Character Area. Basically my idea is this:

"Someone to create a - Role Plays to Join - Thread that can be pinned."

These days i've seen a few people complain about there not being any more decent Roleplays, so basically what I'm hoping is this thread can:
1) Give tips on how to improve Role-Play themes and ideas
2) Display Critiqued Role-Plays, (Preferably "Good" ones)
3) Show people which Role Plays look to be successful
4) Show which Roles Plays are operated well
5) Hold on rare occasions a "special" Role Play

That's basically my idea, Support or drop, up to you.

Similar ideas have been discussed, and the mods are kind of against it because it can be interpreted that other RP's aren't worth joining, whether they also are good or bad.

well that can be something to improve on to, like if an RP doesn't seem good, the thread can give suggestions on what to improve on, otherr members could say something like "id like to see this or this." But i see what you mean

Don't get me wrong, I think this is a good idea, even though I don't do role plays myself because I suck at them. It's just that problem comes up. If there's a good way to circumvent it, then I'm 100% for this.

yea I know what you mean man, hope something does come up though maybe something were someone can request a review and guide for improvement on their rp

Perhaps, along with this, maybe you can include things such as:

1. An updated list of hot new RPs and Top Rated RPs

2. An Intro to Basic Role Play techniques (if it doesn't already exist)

The best you can hope for is to teach people, somehow, to change. Wynn's second idea is good.

Would inspire envy and competitiveness between RPs to be on "Da List". Even thought it could lead to some good results (Competitive Environment = People Working Harder to Get Noticed), mostly, at least I think, it would lead to people getting angry they're not on the list. Also, the thread would probably be spammed with things like "Put my Rp on" and "say my Rp is good". However, Point #1 combined with Wynn's second idea could be a very good idea.

Is the list staff decided or vote decided? If it's vote decided, I could see a lot of "Vote for us and get ____"

At any rate, a good idea, I think competition is healthy.
