Desu the Blue Nerd
1) It's an anime. Look it up. I'm too lazy to talk about it for the third time. 2) Not what I meant. You guys are talking more about what you guys like and not so much about what he will most likely like.
Fusion X. Denver
Actually, I've seen people of all different tastes like CG, it's why I recommended it >.> It's a GOOD anime.
Shadow Zero
Correction: We are talking about anime that we know to be good and worth watching. Yes, we also like them, and yes this opinion is slightly biased, but the fact that I got DL into Code Geass, and that he got Fusion into it as well kind of proves my point, don't you think? @Fusion: That too. Enma Kozato
I agree with the CG idea. Epic. And very good
.Requiem
I liked Code Geass way before anyone of this forum even heard of it. It was actually one of my first anime I actually saw and that is what got me hooked.
Shadow Zero
My first anime that I saw was Dragon ball, and the first one that I got to see on a regular basis was DBZ. However, the first anime that I truly enjoyed was Slayers. *gets a sudden feeling of nostalgia* Aaaah, those were good days.
Fusion X. Denver
Dragonball Z was my first anime. I didn't even know what anime was, but I loved it xD I constantly tried watching it at my cousin's house and she was like, "No, why are you into such bloody and violent stuff?" As a 2nd grader, I saw nothing wrong with the situation e.e
Blake
First Anime: Digimon! Then, Card Captor Sakura, Pokemon, and Hamtaro. /shutup
Andx
Wow, I can't even recall what the first anime I ever saw was. I want to say it was Pokemon soon followed by DBZ or possibly the reverse order. Anyway, Toonami and the animes it showed while it was running were what got me into watching anime like DBZ and Yu Yu Hakusho and is probably the reason I'm still into it now. @Black: Nice preemptive shut up. Though I wouldn't really be able to say anything since I saw it too. xD
Fusion X. Denver
Oh right, Pokemon. Okay, scratch what I said, but still, those 2 shows had a major influence on me. Ton of Pokemon and DBZ action figures when I was little.. I saw a little of Cardcaptor Sakura which I half-loved and half-hated, and also Sailor Moon (I WAS FORCED BY MY FRIEND WHO WAS A GIRL TO WATCH IT SHUT UP) EDIT: I'm nominating Tom from Toonami in the next YGT. Desu the Blue Nerd
I really don't know since I watched and had seen a lot of stuff around the same time. Digimon, DBZ, Gundam, and yes I had seen a little Sailor Moon. It was on and I was little. I had no idea what I was watching. Only the first three really effected me now. Another anime with a major role in my life was Yu-Gi-Oh. Yes Yu-Gi-Oh. I came home from school one day and flipped through channels and saw an odd show that for some reason I was drawn too. This was in Kindergarten so whatever looked cool would draw me in. I would watch it everyday after school ever since that day. Well until the scheduling changed and all that other stuff. Though digimon was a Saturday morning thing for me it probaly had the same effect as Yu-Gi-Oh but Yu-Gi-Oh had the card game to go with it. I remember older kids actually playing it at recess...until it was banned for who knows why. Probaly problems with theft or something. Can't blame them. I've had a whole ton of good cards stolen before. Wow, I need to work on keeping track of the subject. I went way off. [quote name='Fusion X. Fusion X. Denver
Dude, they banned Yu-Gi-Oh cards at my school too back then >.> Guess it was just TOO popular. YGT is just popularity matches between various characters from video games, anime, or any type of media really.
Alexis Rhodes
People stole YGO cards at my school lol. My cousin found the magnet warriors in the behind some draws.
Fusion X. Denver
I'll admit, I stole 1 Vanilla on the floor >.> But these kids tricked me into trading Bladedge for YZ-Tank Dragon (I was stupid, ok?) I kinda wish Duel Disks were real.. (the hologram kind, not the plastic thingie)
Alexis Rhodes
lol I had a duel disk a couple years ago, the cards where had to fit into the gaps and it would fit on my hand.
Shadow Zero
I sometimes wish I had a duel disk, and then I remember how ridiculous that would look on me and forget about the notion. And NUUU, don't fry the hamster! Can't you see that he is to cute to be fried?! D:
Alexis Rhodes
They should bring out a real life duel disk that does something with that cards you place down.
Shadow Zero
You mean with the holograms and everything? I agree, and contrary to popular belief the technology for it DOES exist.Unfortunately, you need stuff that is currently military grade, and even then the creation of duel disks apparently has copyright infringement inducing capabilities. People have apparently been sued for their attempts to create dueul disks before on the grounds of said copyright infringement. Personally, I feel that that reasoning for not creating duel disks, and I mean real ones, is bull.
Alexis Rhodes
But they would cost loads.
Shadow Zero
Yeah, I bet they would. Still, it would be awesome to have irl duels like on the shows. It would be even more awesome to have duel runners.
