Stephen King

I f***ing love Stephen King's books. I've always been a fan of horror novels really, and his are just by far the best. In particular, I think my top 3 favorite books of his would be The Shining, The Stand, and It. I've read quite a few others though, and all the ones I've read have been good.

His movies suck though, particularly the ones he actually works on himself. The only exception is Pet Sematary, which was actually a pretty good movie.

His most recent novel, I believe (Under the Dome) is really, really good.

However, It is by far my favorite of his works, and he is my favorite author.

I had meant to download that torrent but never came around to it seeing as I am reading a couple other books already.
maybe i'll get it now now that you mentioned it

I saw the movie Hearts in Atlantis or sumtin liked that. I enjoyed it so much that i watched it over and over again. Then i was amazed to learn it was written by him!
So naturally i downloaded and read that book. It was indeed epic. Not a scary book but still very awesome.

I'm currently on the third book of The Dark Tower series (The Waste Lands), and I love it. Something about it is just addicting. Roland is one bad-ass character in my opinion.

I want to read more of his books. Maybe The Stand or It?

Yes, Yes, YES. The Dark Tower is his greatest work. Hell, he even says that! I've already read the entire series twice.
I wouldn't recommend the Short story "The Little Sisters of Eluria", its just Misery with Roland and 5 Vampires.

The Stand is much better then It, imo.

Most don't have big production prices, I think the only exceptions are The Shining, obviously Pet Sematary, The Mist, The Green Mile (That s*** had Tom Hanks and Michael Duncan in it, and won Emmys) and The Dark Zone (Staring Christopher Walkin)

All in all, they don't like to spend money on Stephen King movies, here's to hoping the Dark Tower movies will be different.
