Old Skool XYZ Deck

[Bahamut - Envoy of the End]

Been playing Tag Force (1 - important) to death since I started on this site. Been using 'Voltanis' and 'Vandilygon' up til now. About to start work on an XYZ deck as it's looking very likely I'm gonna be partnered with Zane during parts 2 and 3 of the game - which is unknown territory for me as it is. I've used a rudimentary XYZ deck before which worked okay, but I have a better card pool to select from this time.

I'm no expert on this, but I'm looking for field destruction and power as the way to go, although with so many discarding effects I think draw power is important. Also need to accomodate for Tag Dueling, which given the way CPU's work, often feel like 3-1 handicap matchs.

Any advice appreciated, bearing in mind this is an old game (and consequently old Ban List before anyone says +1 MST). My YGO shorthand is not great so bear with me if I don't immediately understand what you're one word posting refers to.

Ps. I have a massive loathing for cards like Lightning Vortex, Dark Hole, etc, IMO by playing such cards you are saying 'I have no skill, the only way I can beat you is to brainlessly nuke the entire field'. I will not use them under any circumstances.

I hate it when Card Makers make decks... It's like Liberals Vs. Conservatives. Anyway, is there any restriction to cards I can add other than "that requires no skill"? Because if this is for Tag Force only, my suggestions might be pretty limited.

Eh?

I'm just expanding horizons (seeing as RC and contests are currently very quiet) and seeking some genuine help. I admit I'm not that great at either making cards or Decks (although I have been recognised as a card-maker )

Yes it's just for old Tag Force, I should get an updated game really but other things to fund.

Cards I will not use: Lightning Vortex, Dark Hole, Tribe Infecting Virus, Crush Card or Deck Devastation Virus, Snatch Steal, Brain Control, Hammer Shot, Smashing Ground, Bottomless Trap Hole, Sakretsu Armour.

Please fire away suggestions by all means Red Mage.

mind I give you a list? oh and if you don't want cards that "require no skills" just switch to Advance format.

Edit: Wow Tag Force has a very limited selection... I'ma just use Tag force 5 suggestions.

Ok just say anything you would add or not and if I don't have access to a card, then I'll just look for subs.

I like learning about new cards anyway, just saying it's an old game before people say 'Why haven't you got...'

Any obvious things I can replace for a start at least, since I've actually got this deck up and going now and rapidly approaching Tag Tourney?

Er, I bought the game in November 2007, and I think it was pretty soon after release.

Will be right back just going to copy and paste ban list off game.

Banned (22 including)

Chaos Emporer Dragon, Yata-Garasu, Monster Reborn, Mirage of Nightmare, Ring of Destruction, Imperial Order, etc

Limited (50 including)

Cyber Jar, Tribe Infecting, Pot of Greed, MST, Metamorphosis, United We Stand, Exchange of Spirit, etc

S-Limited (11 including)

Abyss Soldier, Creature Swap, Level Limit, Gravity Bind, Last Turn, etc

Unlimited

Magician of Faith, Giant Trunade, Brain Control, Smashing Ground, Solemn Judgement...

Just realized I can change the ban list, but not a lot. Hope this helps.

your better off upgrading to the newer lists or to a newer game....
