I'd still like a few more people if you're willing to join. Check out the OOC thread if you're up for it.

Neo Domino City. Somehow or other the buildings at least had been left alone when the hologram world was first implemented. Probably because Kaiba Corp was based in the town. Needless to say there were still so many holograms in the town you could hardly get a feel of the real world. The town saw a lot of tourists. As of late Kaiba Corp had realized the idea of seeing the real world fascinated some people. So everyone few years they held an event where they would take people into specific rooms to temporarily show them the real world. Of course it was nothing more than more holograms but it fooled the people well enough. Though as of late a different sort of real world seeker had been gathering in the city.

There were quite a few duelists set on undoing the holograms for good and seeing the real world. Some real people, others holograms, they came to see what they could do. The main problem was as of yet they had not formally organized. That was changing today. Though they still weren't sure how, the various people intent on undoing the hologram world had been given messages to come to Neo Domino City. Specifically they had been told to come to a duel stadium. It was packed with people, not exactly a great place to start a secretive meeting of like-minded revolutionaries.

They had been told only basics: come in the east gate between six and eight PM, look around the audience for a woman with long dark blue hair dressed in all black, make eye contact with her if necessary, and then go to one of the lobbies leading into the stadium and wait until 8:30. If others came they were free to duel while they waited.
True to the announcement, there was a rather odd woman sitting in the audience. Her eyes were fixed on the entrances that the east gate was closest to. She was intent on seeing the few others that would gather. As of right now it was 7:30 and she'd yet to make eye contact with a single person.
So I assume you can see what's going on in the opening post. For now you're free to move about the duel stadium. You can watch the events, interact with each other or NPCs, get into duels and all that. At some point before too long you'll need to have a post where you spot the woman in the audience and attempt to make eye contact and then go over to wait. There duels can easily go on between you all. Anyway, if you need an NPC just tell me if you'd like to control one of if you'd like me to control one. Sorry if you're confused by the opening. It's always the hardest part but if we get through it this should be really fun.

Alberich had been looking around for a while, trying to find the woman that he'd been told to. She had a fairly obvious description, so he could not figure out why he could not find her, even in such a large crowd. He'd told Yubel to find the woman, but the "female" had yet to return. Taking a seat, Alberich sighed, and shook his head. "How is this so difficult?! I should have found her forever ago... I can understad these bumbles not finding her, but I am not an average bumble." As his thoughts drew to a close, he saw his fiendish Duel Spirit come flying in. "Found her. She's sitting over there." The spirit said, motioning in a direction. "Y'know, Yubel..." Alberich muttered, "I could have done it without your help. I don't see why you stepped in." He loved his friend, but his ego was too large to let her figure something out before him "Well, excuse me! I only just saved your hide!" the fiend spat at Alberich. "Whatever. Just follow me." she growled, leading Alberich off to the woman. When they arrived,Alberich politely tried to get her attention. "Excuse me, ma'am?"

Eltanin walked in slowly but carefully. Eyeing the huge stadium her as well as a large crowd was entering. She had to pace her self so that she wasn't knocked down, but she shouldn't have been worried, as she was taller then most of the other people there. Even some of the Adults. Her red-glass like eyes, opening wide as she peered at the huge collection of people who have gathered. Eltanin felt like choking. Never in her life was she ever in any given area with so many people at once. "W-What do i do?" She said softly to her self, as she got pushed into an area of crowded people. Her body froze up, she couldn't move her legs. She felt like she was lost and had made the wrong choice coming to the duel stadum. "Aaaahhh." She blurted out as teenagers and parents pushed to get about. Eltanin wanted to fall over and collapse but she would just die if she had suddenly grabbed the attention of everyone in the stadium. Still frozen in place, she closed her eyes and hugged her self, wishing that she would become invisible and that she didn't have to deal with everyone's pushing and yelling. In her arms she clingd a bag she had carried with her with some belongings. Attached to her neck like a collar, was an odd-shaped ring with a light on it. It seemed to be her hologram projector. One could tell she was a duelist after all. Opening her eyes slightly, she looked around once more but was still frozen in place.

Despite is being so late, the young Solace entered the arena through the eastern entrance. Usually children are allowed to wander around at night, obviously. His eyes scanned around to locate this lady he had been required to locate. He saw traces of one lady that seemed out of place, but some great galoot was blocking his line of sigt. figuring the man was trying to his on her, Solace made a bee-line for an empty seat whilst he waited for the man to get let-down and finally move.

Making her way into the stadium, Yuki curiously made herself aware of any surroundings that weren't completely blocked off by a large amount of people. That wasn't much, unfornately. The woman was trying to do as she was told, to find a person with long, dark blue hair and make eye contact with them. I think she's over there! her young Duel Spirit, Scrap Goblin informed while standing up on her shoulder. He was a Duel Spirit only she could hear in her mind, so it sounded like he was mentally speaking to the lady via telepathy. Yuki turned her attention to where he pointed and saw her. "Thank you, Goblin." she gratefully appreciated. Yuki began walking towards the woman.

The woman smiled a bit, almost like she could tell some of the people she had wanted to gather were now approaching her. First of all a man had come directly up to her. There was a girl in the middle of a crowd who seemed very scared and suffocated by the number of people around her. There was a boy off at a bit of a distance, waiting for an opportunity and a girl approaching. She knew their faces well enough as she had seen pictures whenever she got their contact information. First off she moved to address Alberich.
"I figured you might be coming shortly. Your friend was over here not too long ago while you were still searching. When she went back I assumed it was to get you." the woman said.

What she had said was rather odd, almost scary. It seemed she was speaking as if she was aware of Yubel's presence. But that couldn't be possible. It must have been a mistake.
"Thank you for coming sir. As per your instructions I'd like to ask you to go off to the appointed lobby. East gate, side lobby C if you don't mind. I know you'd like to discuss more with me but it wouldn't be wise in a public setting." she said. It was both kind and yet distant. Like she wanted to appear friendly but wasn't exactly ready to get friendly with Alberich.

"I have a favor to ask of you if you don't mind before you go over though. There's a girl out in the crowds. Right over there." the woman said motioning in Eltanin's direction. She pulled out a picture and handed it to Alberich.
"She seems a bit uncomfortable in the crowd. If you would kindly take her with you to the lobby I'd appreciate it." The woman said. Her attention then seemed to shift from Alberich in on the other two yet to directly approach her. Yuki was approaching and Solace was waiting for Alberich to leave it seemed.

Harvey walked through the east gate of the duel stadium. As he stepped out of the dark tunnel onto the stadium floor, he held up his left hand to shield his eyes from the dazzling glare of the stadium lights. He rubbed his eyes, before walking to a nearby bench. He sat down, pulled out a piece of paper and began to read silently.
Look around the audience for a woman with long dark blue hair dressed in all black, make eye contact with her if necessary, and then go to one of the lobbies leading into the stadium and wait until 8:30, he thought as his fingers ran over the words. Sure.
"Close." he said. The piece of paper vanished, leaving behind a cheery tone and a faint smell of almonds. He put his hands in his pockets and leaned back with a deep sigh, moving his head up. His eyes darted round the stands, before fixing themselves on;
"A woman with long dark blue hair dressed in all black," Harvey mumbled. Only one here too, he thought, pursing his lips. He stared for a few seconds before standing up and walking into the closest lobby. He sat down on a chair and waited.

Alberich's eyes widened when the woman spoke. "Y-yubel... did she see you?" he asked the spirit mentally, whose reply indicated she did not know if the woman had. He listened as the woman finished, and nodded when she told him to go after Eltanin. "Alright, ma'am, will do." He turned towards the girl he was sent after, and spoke to his spirit once more. "Yubel, do you know what just happened? I'm rather unnerved by it all..." he shivered slightly, thinking about how the woman had seen the fiend. "I have no idea... You're not the only one whose skin is crawling from that. Very few people modern day can see spirits like me. And those who can have one of their own... but, I saw nothing near her." As Yubel finished speaking, he arrived where Eltanin was. "Excuse me, miss," He began "I have been asked to take you to the lobby when I head there. Are you ready to go?"

"E-eh!?" Eltanin blurted out in a panic. Regaining motion in her body as voice called out to her, she nearly jumped in place. It was then when she finnaly realized that it had become less-crowded and she would have breathing room to move about. After a few moments, Alberich's words finnaly caught her. "O-oh?" She said nervously, studdering quite a bit. "I have to pull my self together! C'mon Eltanin!" She thought as she grabbed her head and pressed down on it. "Ohh....what would my hubby think if he saw me like this?" Eltanin blinked and started to burn red as she realized she said that aloud. "Ahhh!" She blurted out, waving her hands back and fourth at Alberich. "R-Right!" She said and nodded, stamping her foot on the ground. "I believe you wanted to take me somewhere?" She looked at him anxiously, she wanted to get out of the crowd as fast as she could. She walked over and stood beside Alberich, looking anxious and nervous to get out of there.

Solace was keeping an eye on the lady in his peripheral. He saw some movement and turned his head. The man had left and he made eye contact with the lady. They stared at eachother for a moment before the boy rose from his seat with a grunt and walked off for one of the available lobbies. During this time Solace had considered what exactly that lady and whoever sent the letter had wanted from him, but obviously, he had a few ideas of what it could possibly be.

The woman had a faint smile on her face as Alberich parted to go help Eltanin. Shortly after she made eye-contact with Solace who she could tell was another of the duelists she had hoped to gather. He left shortly after making eye contact and was technically the first to follow the instructions exactly. The woman hadn't meant for direct contact before the meeting in the lobby. It wasn't bad that Alberich had made contact with her, but too much would seem out of place and had to be avoided.

Alberich reached Eltanin and was able to help guide her out of the crowd that had her so uncomfortable. The two together made their way to the appointed lobby outside of the arena. Once there they saw two others present. They were Solace and Harvey, who had coincidentally walked into the appointed lobby. There was no one else present in the room, odd considering the sheer number of people present for the event. And most if not all of the sound from the audience was silenced by the walls of the room.

Inside the stadium, the woman knew there were really only a few others that she was still waiting on. She could tell one of them was approaching as she saw a girl walking with a duel spirit on her shoulders. Yuki and Scrap Goblin were now right at the woman's seat.

Due to being a Duel Spirit, Scrap Goblin could see a fellow Duel Spirit, Alberich's Yubel. He stared at it the entire time until they left into another lobby with a girl. "Scrap Goblin, it's impolite to stare." Yuki said to the young monster. This caught his attention, and he turned to his owner. I'm sorry. I just didn't think I'd see another Duel Spirit here. he apologized and explained why he was curious. Maybe we could make friends! , "After we do what we need to, alright?" the woman agreed to do what the creature wished, but still wanted to do as told first. Yuki turned to the woman she approached. "Hello, I was told to come see you?"

"Eeee..." Eltanin gave off a slight squeeking like sound effect. It was better then being in a huge crowd but now she felt like the only people in the room were paying attention to her. Giving that situation she froze up again nervously but not intentionally looking at all the others gathered. She didn't even quite understand why she was pulled into that room. Eltanin managed to catch her self, closing her eyes she would sit down in a lone chair and keep her eyes closed untill something would happen.

The woman sat and smiled as Yuki arrived next to her. Yuki like Alberich directly questioned her. She mentioned that she had been told to come see her.
"It's interesting. The other man, like you he had company with him. You both seem a bit more sociable than those who came alone. Yes, I am the one your instructions said to locate. Now that we've established initial contact we should be headed over to lobby C. The others will no doubt be waiting for us. I believe you're the last to arrive, however you were just on time." the woman said. At that moment the clocks read 7:59 PM. While she spoke this woman seemed oddly interested and distant from the person she was speaking to. As if she wanted to be kind to those she spoke to but also was rather out of touch with the world itself. Even more odd she seemed to be aware of Scrap Goblin's presence as she had been of Yubel's. She got up from her seat and took one step ahead of Yuki in the direction of the lobby she had specified.

"As you are the last to arrive we may as well walk over together. Perhaps I can get a head start with you on getting to know you since I'll have a few others to get to know as well. I can take some questions at the moment if you'd like but most of the important issues will have to wait until we're in the full group." she finished. With that she began walking, clear that she wanted Yuki to follow her. Now that she was moving it was clear that this woman did have hologram receiver band around her arm, showing that she was most likely a duelist herself.

The four others already in place at the lobby were now somewhat settled in. At least, they'd found comfortable positions to wait in for a bit. According to their instructions the woman would be showing up around 8:30 and it was just now 8:00. The other portion of the instructions started to come to mind. They were free to duel while they waited if they liked. With four duelists in one room and thirty minutes to burn, there was likely a duel waiting to happen just to pass the time.

Huh? Scrap Goblin was confused. How was the lady aware of the fact that he was there? Can she sense the presence of Duel Spirits or something of the like? Yuki didn't question it, rather, she decided that she was going to ask later. Who knows? Maybe it's part of the "important issues". She began following the woman to the lobby after hearing her speak. "I'm usually not this late with these things." Yuki said, trying to keep the conversation moving. The woman is usually one to be on-time, but due to being lost deep in thought and losing track of time, this was one of those rare moments when she wasn't. "...What is your name, by the way?"

"You shouldn't worry about being late. Time isn't so much important to this issue so much as making sure people show up is. Giving a time frame just guarantees a few of you would show up. As for my name, I can't say I know it. Or at least my original name. These days I go by Cecilia." the woman said as they continued their walk at a casual pace. For a minute she didn't say much else but then she turned to Yuki and looked to have something to say.
"I wonder if I could get your name? And while we're at it, would you care to duel me as we walk? I would like to get a sense of some of the group's dueling potential. And we have the time." Cecilia said. As she did a duel disk appeared on her arm, already loaded with a deck. The duel disk itself seemed to resemble the oldest Battle City model but was purple and blue in coloring. Cecilia had a simple smile on her face, her hands at her sides, as she waited for Yuki's response.

Inside the lobby the group had each taken a seat comfortable to themselves. Nothing was happening and simply waiting was getting quite monotonous, especially with the utter lack of noise present in the room. Any of them would appreciate something to do in the spare time.

(OOC: Hint, hint lobby group: someone start a duel.)

She doesn't know her real name...? Yuki mentally ask herself, wondering why the woman couldn't even recall her name. After hearing Cecilia ask for her name and a duel, Yuki responded. "Oh, I was supposed to introduce myself first. Forgive me, ...my name is Yuki and I wouldn't mind having a duel. It would probably help me get some things off of my mind." she stated and then accepted the request for a game. Her wristband responded to her accepting the challenge by materializing a white duel disk onto her left arm. Like Ceilia's, it was already loaded with her own deck. "Would you like to go first?"

Cecilia and Yuki were still walking at their casual pace as they readied themselves for the upcoming duel. Cecilia seemed somewhat happier, like the idea of the duel put some energy into her.
"It's good to meet you Yuki. If you're offering then I will take the first turn." Cecilia said. Her duel disk shifted into the activated position. The two approached what looked like a moving sidewalk. Cecilia stepped on and stopped walking.
"This path will take us to the lobby and in return we won't have to walk while we're dueling. I believe they're placed all around for this exact purpose. Now then, duel!" Cecilia said. She drew five cards into her hand as Yuki would likely do in return.

"As I'll be going first..." Cecilia said as she drew a card for the turn. That brought the total up to six cards.
"I should tell you this deck is meant to challenge people. More than pressuring their Lifepoints or monsters, it puts them in tight situations, perhaps limiting what they can do. Now then, I'll set two cards and summon D.D. Warrior Lady to the field in attack mode. In addition I activate the Field Spell Card, Fusion Gate." Cecilia said. The side panel for field spells opened and she placed the card in and calmly closed it. The area around them now seemed a little darkened. Additionally the floor now appeared to be 3-D grid lines. The image on the field spell was now the area around them.
"That will put an end to my turn." Cecilia said.

I suppose I should have put this in the front of the OOC thread but I hadn't thought about it. At the end of each of your turns during a duel I'd like you report your field and hand under a section called Duel Info. Fill in the following at the end of each turn minus the parenthesis of course:

Duel Info
Lifepoints: (Please don't make me explain.)
Monsters: (Name all face-up monsters, give a number for any set monsters)
S/T: (Name any face-up, essentially continuous, spell or trap cards. Give a number for set cards.)
FS: (Name a field spell if you have one active or in the amazing event you have one set say that you do.)
Hand: (Give a number of cards in your hand at the end of the turn)
Graveyard: (On-going list. List the cards in your grave. It might be a bit of work in later turns but you'll want to keep track of your Graveyard.)

Custom Cards this turn: (You do get to use custom cards in your key cards or your whole deck if you were allowed that. Post in spoilers pics of the cards you used during the turn. If you didn't explain all of the card's effect, please provide the text for the effect below the card.)

"Ah!" Eltanin jumped up, as if snapping back into reality. "Ohhh...a Duel. Just like when i watched my hubby. Eltanin looked around and took a seat so that she could watch the duel. Starting to mumble, she spoke to her self. "I think i've forgotten how the game works...guess i'll watch them." Eltanin kept mumbling to her self then lifted up her dress a little, removing a deck-box attached to an inside belt around her waist. She held the deck-box dearly and smiled as she took it into her hands. Popping the button off so she could open it, she gently took the top card of the deck out. Peering at the words "Thunder Unicorn" she giggled under her breath and re-closed the deck, re-attaching the Deck Box to her sides.

Solace was sitting in the lobby, paying no attention to the other arrivals. He was testing his duel disk, summoning it and returning it to normal. Satisfied he called it and the auto-shuffle activated, cards whizzing through the deck. He drew a card from the top of his deck and regarded it, before placing it onto a monster zone. 'I summon Toxico Proto' he declared.

The disk whirred and summoned a small green critter. It squeaked loudly and slouched there. Solace watched it before removing the card, vanishing the hologram. He placed it in his deck and reactivated the shuffle function. He then vanished his duel disk and continued to wait.
