Yu-Gi-Oh 5D´s: The Nexus Brotherhood [IC/Started/Accepting in OOC/PG-13]

"Stop apologizing..." Kairi moaned, now somewhat irritated. She somehow felt like this was her fault. "...Where would you live? Well... down here... you kind of just make your own place." the girl added. The people of the Underground Civilization were in a worse situation than the Satellite. Their desire to get back at the Nexus Brotherhood was the only thing keeping them alive down there, and it must've been a strong wish to do so. Considering that they act like they don't have the time to actually build houses and such for others. "It sucks, especially when you can't make a door that will stay up." she added, referring to her door that was still laying flat on the ground.

[Squirrel Girl]

Ofelia was walking in the sewer in the underground, thinking about to revenge her parents death. "Why me, why me?" she screamed just when she was about to fall over and down in the sewer water on the right side of her. 1 meter above the water, she suddenly stop falling. A man with a black coat was grabbing her hand. He drew her up so she wouldn't fall into the water. "Who are you?" the man asked with a soft, gentle voice. "I'm Ofelia" she answered in a confident but still scared voice. The man looked at Ofelia's Duel Disc on her left arm. Ofelia was start running away from the man, but he chased her. Luckily, she found a small pipe that she climbed in to, and the man who followed her was too big for the hole. In the end of the pipe, there was a small room. In the right side of the room, there was a small metal door. She opened the door and went out. The door led out of the underground and out in the ruined city. She saw a tall man running towards her. The man had a red T-shirt and a pair of dirty jeans-shorts. He had red hair and a big nose. On the right arm, he wore a Duel Disc. The Duel Disc was destroyed and there flew parts from it everywhere. The man then run through the metal door and in to the small room. Ofelia was running towards the way the man had running. When she arrived, she saw a man with a black coat. The man had a strange pendant hanging on his neck, though she didn't saw the shape of it, she only saw the chain it was hanging on. She started to run back and then she fell. The man with the coat came closer and closer, but he seemed to be smaller and smaller. So, Ofelia was running and suddenly, the mystic man was gone and she walked in a house to search for protection from the mystic man.

[color="#808000"]Alex hung in the background of the duel that as going on between Adrian and the Sector Security officer. He was a bit bored and wanted to duel someone. Maybe eat some salami on rye. Yes...That would be perfect...A duel and some salami...Nice...
"Hey Adrian! Get him to make you a sandwich after you beat him! You seem kinda hungry to me! Speaking of which, how's the family?"
A large group of civillians suddenly turned toward Alex, bearing a mix of disgusted, surprised, and fearful faces. Alex laughed and said: "Anyone want to try their hand at mine?"
A teenager laughed and fell to the ground, too excited to do anything else. Another teenager walked up to Alex and proclaimed he would like to duel a member of the Nexus Brotherhood.
"Sure. How'd you know I was Nexus?"
"You knew his name and yuo have a...Thing...On your waist, just like how all the others do somewhereon their bodies."
"Fair enough. Let's start this thing."

Alex had Hunter Dragon and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon on his side of the field with a face-down Magic Cylinder.
The teenager had no monsters and an "A"-Cell Breeding Machine on his side of the field. It was the kids turn.
"Umm...I-I-I set a monster face-down a-a-and end m-m-my t-turn."
"Hmph. My drawing time. Let's go, Red-Eyes Wyvern. Now, Wyvern, attack his face-down card with Scarlet Inferno!"
Red-Eyes Wyvern fired a red fireball that crackeled with black energy at the face-down monster, which turned out to be an Alien Dog. The monster was destroyed before it even cried out.
"Now, Darkness, Shadowdoom Blaze!"
The large dragon closed its mouth, black flames trickling out the corners. Then, it unleashed a darker-than-black stream of fire from its maw and immolated the kid, scorching him and giving him severe burns.
"Now, give me that card I saw fall out of your deck, and make me a salami on rye."
When the kid didn't move, Alex kicked him in the head, making him bleed. When he still didn't move, Alex sighed.
"Gotta do everything for yourself..."
Alex fished the Dark Armed Dragon from the kids deck and kicked him once more, again in the head. Alex was lucky that kid was fumbling with his deck early on in the duel, or else he'd still be missing the card he needed. Now, Alex was going to finish watching Adrian's match and then make himself breakfast.[/color]

Ofelia was walking higher and higher in the building. She looked out of a window to see if the man was going after her. The man who walked towards her had just won a duel and stole a card from a little children. Ofelia was getting mad and was about to walk over there, but she changed her mind before she was going there. But, she swore to get revenge for the crime the man did. But now, since they were 2 of them, she decided to go back to the underground so she wouldn't end up like the little child. In the Underground, she met a little child named Henry. Henry was only 7 years old but he was holding his own Duel Disc. In the Duel Disc, there was some cards he had put together to make a Deck. "You know where my mom and dad is?" Henry asked nicely. "No I don't, but I can help you look for them. Where were you last time you saw them?" Ofelia asked when they were walking in the path's of the Underground.

Lennox groaned. Closing his eyes and pushed his shoes against the firm, solid earth beneath him. "The Signers are active in this kind of troublesome night." Lennox took a deep breath as he let the sight of the two duelists fade from his view. Walking away, he thought: "[i]The air is dry. Many seek revenege. As a Priest, revenge is not a strong enough motive to pull you throught the darkness you in life.[/i] Lennox started to chuckle as he dissapeared from the view of the other people. Returning to walking in the endless night, he was planning his actions for when he met his first signer.

[color="#0000FF"]"I-I set two cards face-down"[/color] The officer said, doing his best to stop stammering but more importantly, staying alive.

His helmet was damaged, the visor shattered on a few places, and the uniform was damaged to say the least, showing several gaping holes and minor cuts.
The officer showed several signs of a severe beating, almost abuse, and clearly fighting against the pain to make his move.
Adrian felt no pity, the thing had dug its own grave and payed for the funeral when it first saw him, Adrians job had only been to bury it, like the rest he had already killed.

What was easily described as a demonic version of a traffic police, riding on a twisted and demonic version of a motorcycle, appeared on the field and was slowly tinted blue as the monster crossed it´s arms in front of the face.

[color="#0000FF"]"I end my turn"[/color]

[color="#8B0000"]"Pathetic, I draw!"[/color] Adrian declared as his cards faded back into existence.
He inspected his hand momentarily, even though it was pointless since the obvious move in this situation was already crystal clear to him.

[color="#8B0000"]"I told you that you only had one more turn, officer, and now it´s time to prove it"[/color]

[color="#8B0000"]"Since my Phantom Hand is a continuous trap, I´ll use its effect again to remove these cards"[/color]His hand, now consisting of three cards, once again turned invisible.

[color="#8B0000"]"Go Infernity Doom Dragon, crush his pathetic monster and drain the rest of his life points"
"Infernity Doom Breath!"[/color]
The dragon repeated the same procedure as before, releasing the pitch-black energy from its mouth, however, this time, it didn´t only go for the monster but the duelist as well, covering both while the officer gave of shrieks of pure agony and pain.
A loud bang was heard as his duel disk exploded, and when everything settled, only the remains of the destroyed duel disk was all that remained.

[color="#8B0000"][i]"Humph, It was his mistake to approach me in the first place"[/i][/color] Adrian thought as he left the scene behind him, trying his best to locate an entrance to the underground civilsation the survivors had built.

If there was any place the Signers where more likely to hide, it was with the survivors.

Jason ran home to his hideout, an abandoned warehouse next to the nearby scrapyard in Satellite. As his original home in the city was destroyed by the Brotherhood and he had no intention of sleeping on the street, the run-down building provided him with the shelter he needed. He walked over to the scrap door at the entrance and pushed it open. Once he got inside, he surveyed what was inside his hideout.

A tattered old couch lay on its side on the floor, stuffing coming out from various holes in it. Next to a nearby wall sat a small set of drawers, the paint peeling off at random places. Both of them were obtained from the junkyard upon making the warehouse his hideout. On top of the drawers sat a dust-covered portrait of his family. Jason walked over to the drawers and took out the photo of Akari and placed it next to his family picture.

"I'll be sure to avenge all of you", he said, looking at the pictures. "Your spirits live on...within my heart!". Then he opened up one of his drawers and took out a golden Duel Disc and attached it to his arm. He reached inside it once more and took out a deck and slid it into his Duel Disc.

"Just in case that one of Yliaster or the Brotherhood comes searching for trouble", he told himself, "I'm ready for them". With that, he went to turn the couch on its legs and laid down on it, thinking of what was to happen in the coming days.

When Henry and Ofelia had walked for 45 minutes, they saw a bunch of people. The peoples in front of them started to looked surprising at them like they were ghost or some sort of monster. Henry started to run to them as if he saw her mom and dad. But he started to cry when he did not saw his mom and dad. But, a teenager came to Henry to cheer him up, but he started to run at Ofelia cause he was scared. The teenager came closer and closer, but Henry was still scared. So he was running towards the teenager and started to punch and kick on him. The teenager then held Henry so he couldn't hit him anymore. Then, he took out his Duel Disc and asked Henry for a duel, but he refused, so he asked Ofelia instead.

"A-alright... Sorry... Erm, sorry for apologizing... Sor-... I'll just drop it." He mumbled, unable to stop apologizing. "So, I just... find a place? Seems a bit too chaotic... Even for a place like this in this day and age..." He looked at the fallen door, as she referenced it. [i]"... Oh Lord, this is absurd. They really live like this? Just so they can fight back? Jeez, I'll never understand these people..."[/i] shaking his head thoughtfully at the fallen door. "So... Will I have the same conditions? It's better than before..." Black said, still looking at the door. "Erm... could you show me around? Sorry to ask again..."

"I go first, I draw" Ofelia said in a soft voice

"I Special Summon 'Low Level - Kings Royal Battle Beast' in Attack Position. Then I set 2 card face- down and End my turn.".

The teenager started to laugh. And suddenly he said:
"Is that all you got, a Level 1 monster with 500 ATK points. Well, here I go, Draw. I Summon 'Mirage Dragon' in Attack Position. 'Mirage Dragon', attack 'Low Level - Kings Royal Battle Beast'."
He laughed and said:
"I activate 'Mirage Dragon's' effect. Now you can't activate Trap Cards during this battle phase.".

Ofelia smiled while 'Mirage Dragon' was shooting a Rainbow colored stream from his mouth. "I activate 'Low Level - Kings Royal Battle Beast's' monster effect. When it is attacked, the monster that attacking it have its ATK become 500 and 'Low Level - Kings Royal Battle Beast' cannot be destroyed by battle.".

The teenager ended his turn by placing 1 card face-down.

"My turn" Ofelia said while she kept smiling. "I draw. I activate the Field Spell 'Royal Town of the King'. As long as it remains face-up on the field, you cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards unless you pay 500 Life Points. Next, I attack with my 'Low Level - Kings Royal Battle Beast'. Go 'Bubble Stream Attack'. Now, I set 1 card face-down and end my turn".

Adrian felt sick from the stench down in the tunnels while he silently tried to follow two survivors, a little kid, hardly over the age of twelve and what had to be the kids dad, a brown haired, middle aged man, that according to the few glimpses Adrian had got of that man’s face, hadn´t slept for days.

[color="#8B0000"][i]"How can they stand this each and every day, just because it gives them a small chance of fighting us back?"[/i][/color] Adrian thought, amazed at what the humans had chosen to put up with instead of surrendering or just accepting their fate.

[color="#556B2F"]"Hey!"[/color] The dad called out suddenly.
Adrian´s blood went ice cold in an instant and he delved into the shadows at the sides of the tunnel.
Had he been seen?

In truth, what it really was, was that the kid had begun to wander off on its own into different tunnels and its dad had attempted to call it back.
The kid turned back to its dad immediately and they continued walking.
Faintly, Adrian could hear the dad speaking,
[color="#556B2F"]"We need to stick to this path or else we will get lost down here, and besides, only these tunnels are proved to be safe and I would not forgive myself if something happened to you"[/color]

Adrian did not hear the kid answering but it didn´t matter, all he needed to do was wait for them to get enough ahead so they wouldn´t notice a man following their tracks.

[color="#8B0000"][i]"Soon, the real fun will begin once they take me to their so called "city" down here"[/i][/color] Adrian thought, smirking.

And now, I can Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster with 1500 ATK or less from my Deck. I Special Summon another 'Masked Dragon' from my Deck. Now, I end my turn by placing 1 card face-down."
The teenager started to smile again, but he still seemed scared.

"My turn, I draw. I Summon 'Low Level - Kings Royal Artist' in face-up Attack Position. Now I Tune my Level 2 'Low Level - Kings Royal Artist' with my Level 1 'Low Level - Kings Royal Battle Beast'. When Stars appears in nights, rise from the night Sky, Synchro Summon, 'Low Level - Kings Royal Starbird'. Now, I destroy all face-up cards on the field. Ohh, did I mention, Starbird cannot be destroyed by it's own effect. And you cannot destroy this card with a Spell or Trap Card. Now, I attack you directly, 'Burst Fire Stream'"

The teenager started to be scared now, but he didn't gave up.
"My turn. I draw. I Summon Masked Dragon. Then I attack your 'Low Level - Kings Royal Starbird'. Now I Set 1 card and end my turn"

Aaron was riding his D-Wheel through the devasted city. He passed over the parts of broken and abandoned D-Wheels and the remains of the poor people that fell victims of the massacre caused by the Nexus Brotherhood. He then started thinking about the survivors and their desire of revenge. All of them suffered for the lost of their families and friends, but he couldn't understand that feeling because he had no friends and his family didn't exist for him. Although he believes that the Nexus Brotherhood must be stopped.

But suddenly, he felt a strange sensation and stopped his D-Wheel. It was a sensation he never felt before but it was brief and disappeared. In that moment he knew that something was wrong and he turned around and to return to the tunnels were the other survivors were.

(I use to say D-Wheel instead of Duel Runner so hope it doesn't matter).

The teenager suddenly started to smile, but that didn't last long. Cause when Ofelia started to laugh, he suddenly stopped smiling.

"I draw. I play the Spell 'Low Level Summon'. Now, I can Special Summon 1 'Low Level' monster from my Graveyard. I Special Summon 'Low Level - Kings Royal Battle Beast' in face-up Attack Position. And that's not all. Now my monster gains 2000 ATK, until your End Phase. I set 1 card and end my turn."

"What are you doing, your not gonna attack?, that was really stupid. Now I play the Spell, 'Monster Reborn'. Now I can Special Summon 1 monster from either players Graveyard. And I chose my 'Masked Dragon'. And now, I tribute my 2 dragons in order to Summon my 'Felgrand Dragon'. But I pay 500 Life Points cause of 'Royal Town of the King'. Now I attack your 'Low Level - Kings Royal Battle Beast' with my 'Felgrand Dragon'."

"Now I activate the effect of 'Low Level - Kings Royal Battle Beast', you cannot destroy my monster, but that's just once."

"I end my turn by placing this card face-down."

"Now, I will defeat you, I draw. Now I Summon my 'Low Level - King Royal Scarecrow' in Attack Position. And, since you have no monsters on the field cause your Dragon was destroyed, I attack you directly with both my cards. And I activate the effect of my 'Low Level - Kings Royal Scarecrow' All face-up 'Low Level' monsters gains 500 ATK. So that's a total of 2000 Life Points. Say byebye."

"I was defeated, but, that's Impossible, I newer lose."

"Well, you lose this time. And 1 more thing, I newer lose either" Ofelia said while she smiled at the teenager.

The other Survivors that was with him was standing and was watching while the best duelist of them had been defeated, and they decided to make me the leader. And then, there was something on my right arm that was starting to glow. It was a strange symbol that looked like a head of some sort. Ofelia was terrified when she first saw that glowing mark, but then, an elder said he had seen a mark like that before. But it didn't look like Ofelia's, it looked like some sort of misshaped claw of some sort. So Ofelia was starting to run to the dock's. At the dock's, she went in to a warehouse and took out a Pitch Black Duel Runner. She jumped on the Duel Runner and went in to the town to search for the other human with the strange mark.

Love drove up to her new living space on her D-Wheel. She had just gotten out of a Riding Duel, where she dueled the landlord, for ownership of this space. It was nearby Industrial Illusions, or at least what [i]was[/i], her place of work. She went into the room and as she opened the door, she let out a groan of disgust.
"Ugh, it's so [i]BLAND[/i]!!" she said aloud. She decided she'd paint her room, seeing as her things, which she didn't have very much of, wouldn't be here for a while. She ran outside and hopped on her D-Wheel. She sped towards the nearest hardware store, which she knew to be nearby. She walked inside, and purchased a few cans of paint, and different brushes and rollers. Upon returning to her place, she noticed a man standing outside, looking into the room.
"Who are you?" asked Love. The man did not respond, but instead looked at her and pulled out a duel disk. Love, in response, activated hers. The man drew five cards and indicated that Love would go first.
"Very well, then... I draw! I summon Primary Spectrum Knight - Red the Archer! But he's just a visitor. I'll destroy him to Special Summon Tertiary Spectrum Knight - Chartreuse the Rampage! Also, when a Spectrum Knight is destroyed, I can Special Summon Color Changer from my hand! I activate his effect, to discard Primary Spectrum Knight - Blue the Torrent and Tributing Chartreuse to Special Summon Red the Archer from my Graveyard! Then I activate Monster Reborn to Special Summon Blue! I'll mix colors by fusing Blue the Torrent and Red the Archer, to create Violet the Allure! I'll set 1 card and end my turn."
The man drew his single card and summoned Gene-Warped Warwolf. He set a single card face-down and ended.[hr][center][b]Love:[/b]

"Yeah, same conditions. If not, worse." Kairi answered his first question. She's been here her entire life, and if this was the best she could do with a house, this new guy can't hope to get anywhere close. "I'll show you around... John, was it?" Kairi agreed to do so, and then forgot his name. "Lemme just fix this door right quick. Can you watch my D-Wheel for me?" she asked, needing to fix the door so no one would break in, if someone didn't already. Then again, what would she have to steal? What would [i]ANYONE[/i] down here have worth stealing?

Jason was finishing up his thoughts of how he would deal with the brotherhood. After he finished, he got off his couch and stood up.

"Well then, I'm finished with my thoughts", he told himself. "Now I should go run to the grocery store to pick up some more food. While it would be a more prudent choice to find another of the Signers, I'll probably bump into one of them later." With that, he walked over to a shining blue Duel Runner near the far end of the room. He wheeled the runner outside of his hideout and then got on it.

"I should probably get something to spruce up the warehouse, since I'm not sure if my stuff back in the city can make it over here", Jason thought. "After I buy some food, then I'll go to the collectible store. Maybe they have something that I'll like". He started his runner's engines and zoomed off to the grocery store. Once he got here, Jason went inside and bought some frozen meat and a couple bottles of milk and water. As he was coming out, he saw a teenager wearing a black jacket and biker shorts staring at his runner.

"Can I help you with something?", he asked the stranger. The teen pulled out a Duel Disc and said the words, "Duel me"

"Fine with me, I'll take you on", Jason replied and activated his disc. The teen draw five cards and signaled that he would take the first turn. He drew another card from his deck and summoned the Vorse Raider in attack mode and ended his turn without face-downs.

"No face-down cards, huh? Now I draw and call forth my Elemental Hero Kimirayu Rin. But she won't be here for long after I play the Double Summon spell card, which grants me another summoning. I'll release Kimirayu and Advance Summon the Level 6 Elemental Hero Moonlight Valkyria! I attack your Vorse Raider with my card."

"I discard the Kuriboh in my hand and negate all battle damage to me", the teenager yelled out as he discarded the card from his hand.

"You got lucky this time", Jason replied. "But you won't be so lucky next turn. I'm ending with a face-down!"

While Ofelia was driving through the ruins of the fallen city, she saw dead people lying on the streets. They were all bloody and teared apart in half. Ofelia was turned of the Duel Runner and started to walk to a body that was lying on the ground. She knew that face but couldn't tell exactly where she have seen it before. But, then, a stranger in a black robe and a smile on his face come to her. He had a strange pendant that was hanging from the neck. The pendant was shaped as a Star and has a Diamond on it. But, he didn't do anything to her. He seemed scared, but he might just be hiding something and that he actually was not scared. Cause he didn't look like someone that would be scared just cause there was bodies all over a place like this. But, then he started to say something, but Ofelia just stared at the body. Then, the man got mad and just walked away.
