Adrian walked along the dimly lit and ruined streets of Neo Domino City, the air was cold and the night was dark, two of his most favorite things.

Everyone in the Nexus Brotherhood all had the same mission and he knew it, find and kill all of the top-ranking duelists in this town.
"No" He corrected himself, "Not just this town, this entire world"And luckily they had the now canceled WRGP tournament to help.

Duelists from all over the world had traveled to the city and had yet to leave, and among them were the Signers, the top of the list of people who could stop the Nexus Brotherhood.

"Oh well, It shouldn´t be too hard to find 5 kids in this town"
His duel disk was already on his right arm and his gun was loaded and ready.

It was time for Adrian to start hunting Signers and not just this patheic breed of normal humans.

((I'm just going to assume that the Machine Emperors WILL be destroyed at the end of this season of 5D's, so I'm gonna bring the tablets back.))

Svar was sitting on his thrown. Thinking. A tablet fell from the sky. "It seems that my card is here..." he stated with a smirk. He grabbed his sword and slashed with it, creating a portal. He jumped in it, and reappeared where the tablet had fell. He smiled as he retrieved his cards. "Heheheh...." he stated. He then used his Portal-Sword to return back to Yliaster's hideout. He sat on his thrown with a smirk... "(This is going to be easier then I thought.....)" he thought with a smirk...

(And since my Yliaster character's bio specifically contradicts that notion...)

Midna snickered, leaning lazily against Svar's chair. "Ooh, pick up new cards? I wonder why I got mine first. Could it be I'm just better than you?" she asked, grinning childishly. She brushed some of her black hair out of her eyes. "So what kind of cards are they? Something awesome like Skiel or something lame, like Kuriboh?" she grinned again. "Really, if you have a Kuriboh deck, you will never live it down. Last person who used Kuribohs broke down crying when I beat him. It was sooooo lame. But what do you expect from people running Kuriboh?"

The young teen continued to ramble on in this fashion, not even caring if she was being listened to.

-----

Finally, Mateo's workday had come to a close, and he was walking home, still dressed in his work uniform, but pumped to be getting back on track with his social life, now that his hours had become more manageable, ever since his father recovered from his injuries. The young man looked up at the sky, basking in the surprisingly warm weather. Everything was looking like it was going to be a good day. The rewards of hard work always seemed to be that you cherished what you had more than usual.

(Haha, this is gonna be fun..... I should of added "Wont take any crap from anybody." to the personality)

Midna was REALLY starting to get on Svar's nerves.... then he chuckled "You'll see..." Svar stated, prepared to open a portal and shove Midna in it. He opened the portal and grabbed Midna and was about to throw her in. It led to the crater where his Tablet was. Many people were there, he smirked as Midna was about to be launched into the portal. "Heheheh..." he chuckled. "Good-bye." he stated with a smirk. Midna just inches away from the portal.

Kai slammed his fists to the brick wall of the local supermarket, cursing. Above him lay a poster notifying the populous that the WRGP had been canceled, for some unknown reason. However, Kai knew.

"Damn Nexus Brotherhood!" he shouted, pounding his fists into the wall to quell his anger. "I wait two years to see the best of the best in the WRGP and now you're gonna take it away?"

As Kai ranted, the owner of the store came out of his shop, visibly puzzled. "Stop banging on my damn wall and go home, kid!" he yelled, making Kai jump.

The redhead immediately acquiesced, mumbling a hurried apology and racing home to get his Disk. He would show those Nexus freaks...

Lennox watched as a man was carried away by sevral others. He was just outside of a room, in the hall way of a random building somewhere in Neo Domino City. Lennox in his well-designed and neat clothing, held his right-arm up, his pendant dangling off of his wrist. The people who had carried the man waved to Lennox and one of them spoke. "Thank you Father Lennox!" One of them yelled, referring to Lennox as some sort of priest. Though Lennox looked like he might have been too young to be a priest, the people there was admiring him like one. Lennox smiled at the anamyous group of people who carried the body of a man which has been presumed dead. His smile was as empty as the heart Lennox carried. "Human-beings are so intresting. Their is a lack of faith in the gods for some, and others it is like their way of life. Lennox thought to him self, taking his left-arm, rising it up and cupped his own chin with his left-hand. "I've learned what i could learn from the resources here. It's time to move on." Lennox, after a moment of thought-pondering, dropped his arms to his side and shoved both of his hands into his pocket, while keeping his right-arm out enough for the Pendant to be visible. It was his clever word, and the pendant he had with him which he used to fool the common-day people.

Twin automated doors opend up infront of a tall building and Lennox walked through them. A voice called out to him as he went through the doors. "Have a good evening Father!" Lennox smiled his empty-smile and rose his left-arm, throwing a wave back in the direction of the voice. He responded with a crisp and loud "Thank you!." After the twin-doors had shut, Lennox chuckled under his breath. Thinking about what had just happend. Recalling that he had told the guards he had heard noises from one of the rooms. When he had got there, he had found the man already dead, died of a heart-attack. Lennox's empty smile faded away, as he re-called the memory of him slamming the innoncent man against the wall and crushing him with little-effort. "No one will suspect a holy man such as my self to be a member of the Nexus Brotherhood." He thought to him self. Turning his head towards the moonless sky he stated aloud. "It's going to be a long night."

"What are you d-" Midna protested, struggling and clawing at Svar, but found her struggles fruitless before being passed through the portal, where she landed amidst the other people looking at the crater. She cursed under her breath, earning a shocked look from an older woman. She grinned innocently, cast a few looks around, and then pickpocketed the keys that were sticking out from a young man's pocket. She was willing to bet that this went to a Duel Runner or similar that he had parked nearby. With a grin, she tore off to go find out. If she was right, she could be back by the city in an hour or so.

"I wonder how long until he realizes what I took," she giggled, not referring to the boy at all.

Svar smirked. He sat back down in his thrown. He was able to get Midna's deck. She didn't need it down there. He tossed the deck up and down. Each time they landed back in the perfect pile. "She doesn't need them down there..." he stated with a smirk. "Better find more of those useless Synchro monsters." Svar stated, he opened another portal and walked through it. He boarded his Duel Runner once he walked out of it and rode down the road with mega speed. Midna's deck on his thrown...

"Wha-?! How did...what did..." Midna searched her pockets frantically, finally coming to the realization her cards weren't with her. "Grr! That big...ugh, blah..." she seethed, drawing strange looks from those around her. "He actually stole my...?! But..."

"Are you okay, kid?" an older man inquired. Midna whirled on him with an enraged look, but didn't even need to speak for the man to apologize and hurry away. She whirled back around and stomped towards the Duel Runner she was convinced the keys would unlock. As she mounted the bike, she cursed fluently under her breath about how dare someone take her deck, dimly aware of the utter hypocrisy of her rage, seeing as she hadn't left empty-handed either, having managed to swipe the card "Wise Core". But one card vs her entire deck?!

Well, not quite her entire deck...she reached into one pocket and sighed in relief. From almost paranoid devotion to the Machine Emperor cards she had been entrusted, she carried the Machine Emperor, its Core, and the pieces in a separate deck box. She verified their presence and dropped the pilfered card alongside them, nevertheless scowling in frustration. She wouldn't be able to duel with so few cards, so she couldn't even take her time getting back...now she had to hurry back just to fetch her cards.

"Damn Kuriboh-loving jerk," she grumbled.

Adrian heard someone yelling not too far away, judging by the commotion it appeared to cause, it would soon start a fight if it didn´t quit.

"These things are too foolish for their own good sometimes, it seems" He thought in disgust.
From the moment he arrived in this world, these humans had been nothing more than a disappointment.

They were nothing more than filth in the eyes of Adrian, filth that needed to be scrubbed from the face of this earth.

"Hey, you there", Someone stepped out in front of Adrian, blocking his path.
"It´s dangerous to travel through these streets alone at night"

The human was fairly tall with a skinny body except for a slowly growing belly.
It was wearing a dirty brown trench coat, a blue shirt that was obviously too small and jeans that appeared to have been used for several weeks straight.
The human appeared to not have shaven for at least a few months and had a smell of pure filth around itself that almost made Adrian throw up in his mouth.
In its right hand, it was holding a knife.

"Case and point" Adrian thought as and pulled out his gun.

The bullets that he had already loaded were intended for Signers but in this case, Adrian could make an exception.
"I´m going to count to three, if you are not gone from my sight by then" He placed his finger on the trigger, aimed for the head, and continued "I´m shure even dirt like you would know what happens next"

"One", The human did not move, obviously paralyzed by fear and chock

"Two"

"Three"

The loud sound of a gun, firing a single shot was heard and echoed a long distance.
The human, obviously a homeless man and already a victim of the Brotherhood´s plans, fell to the ground, dead long before he even hit the ground.

Lennox was watching his own foot steps as he walked along-side a road on a side-walk, his destination unknown to the world. He had stopped abruptly upon hearing the sound of a large bang echo through out the area. Standing still, a cold-breeze picked up and blew against him gently. It was as if the night was moving as slow as possible for the Nexus Brotherhood. Pondering his thoughts as he stood there he turned his head in the direction that he thought the large bang like sound came from. Of course, he couldn't see anything but miles and miles of darkness. It was almost as if his eyes had fixated at somethng in the darkness. As if there was something there he could actually see. Lennox returned his sight to the front of him, pulling his left-arm from his pocket and gently pushing his own hand through his hair, he had seemed a little vexxed. Lennox dropped his eyes to the ground, then looked as his hand. He clenched his fist tight and flailed his arm to the side. "There's an intresting human saying." Lennox thought aloud. "If you want something done, you've gotta do it your self." Lennox cupped his chin with his left-hand and smirked softly. "It has a nice ring to it, perhaps i'll get started sometime soon. It seems that others may already be up to no good, i don't want to be left out of all the fun." Taking his left-arm and burying his left hand into his pocket, he would return to walking aimlessly.

Adrian looked at the corpse of the homeless man.

The bullet had left a fine hole in the man’s forehead from which a tiny trail of blood was pouring into the gutter.
But Adrian didn´t care about that, he was even prepared to leave the body there, not caring for a second if Sector Security would find it.

But he suddenly got an idea.
He raised his left arm, almost pretending to lift the corpse with it, followed by the ruby in his pendant beginning to glow bright red.

The body left the ground, floated in mid air and continued upwards as Adrian raised his arm further up.
It did not stop until the body was at the top of a nearby flagpole and suddenly dropped like a rock, stopping halfway down after getting impaled on the pole.

"Freeze! You scum" a voice called out behind him, accompanied by the lights of what had to come from a D-Wheel.
Adrian didn´t even need to turn around to know who it belonged to.
The false sense of authority, the demanding tone to be obeyed.
This was an officer of Sector Security.

"I´m surprised to see that Sector Security still walks in this wasteland instead of retreating to the underground like the rest of this town" Adrian said, mocking both Sector Security and the entire town, before turning around and continuing.
"Cowards, all of them"
"Be quiet! You are under arrest for murder"

"Is that so, I´m afraid you will have to beat me first"
Adrian activated his duel disk, already on his arm, and grinned as it sent out a frequency that forced the regular duel system on the D-wheel to activate.
"Fine then, If that´s what it takes to bring you in" The officer spoke, doing its best to cover the confusement over being forced into this

Charles turned away from the Security officer and his attempt to arrest the murderer he was facing off against, leaning against the wall of an alley, which conveniently hid him from both men's sight. "So there are still security officers that are that keen to do their jobs, huh," he muttered, a smirk on his face seemingly at odds with what he was saying. "I guess he's another one for the casualty list. How annoying. I'd have thought the ones that managed to last this long were the ones who didn't try and arrest the people who levitate their corpses onto flagpoles. Oh well." He turned and walked down the alley, not really much caring for the officer, who most likely didn't realise what he'd gotten himself into.

Kairi drove into the Underground Civilization she lived in on her D-Wheel. Unfornately, everything was the same there. Messed up and abandoned-looking buildings, hunks of garbage, scrap-metal left almost everywhere. The girl usually hopes that someone would give their home an upgrade, even if it's minor. She wasn't complaining, but really, they could fix some of the crap down here. Sighing after seeing that nothing has changed, the Signer made her way to a small house. Kairi wasn't about to live on the streets or anything. She could take it, but she wouldn't do it. So she spent some months making a house underground. ...It came out half-right. Wasn't good, but it wasn't terrible.

"Crap... my door fell off again." she noticed, as her door made out of scrap was laying flat on the ground. The girl could tell that no force was used, because after quickly examining it, she could tell that it had fell forward. If someone kicked it in, it would've been the other way around. "Damn it. I need a replacement..."

"Ara?" Lennox blurted out by mistake. Smirking slightly, he shook his head and waved his left-arm to the side. "It seem like one of my fellow brehren is going in battle." Lennox gently closed his left-hand and held it against his chin. "I thought i felt the power of another pendan. Poor soul. I hope you can find your way into heaven." Lennox snickered, and almost blurted out into a full-out laughing session. It was sinister and almost scary to hear. "Haa.." Lennox stopped to catch his breath. "Do human priests really say things like that?" He thought and changed his direction, walking across the dark-empty street way. He was walking in the direction of the energy from Adrian's pendant. "Wonder if i can make it in time to see some action." He was staring straight into darkness, but it seemed like he knew where he was going.

Kai raced towards home in the trashy Underground Civilization, his red hair flying, his eyes blazing with determination. "I'll beat all of the Nexus freaks singlehandedly... and then I'll be a hero!" he cried with excitement, envisioning himself standing on a podium in front of the city's crowd. All of the populace was cheering for him...

"Yessss!" Kai pumped his fist into the air and dashed into his dilapidated shack of a home, rummaging around his chest until he found what he was looking for. Moments later, the young boy burst out of the house, a plastic Duel Disk strapped to his arm.

Black chuckled as he saw the girl, Kairi, drive inside. "So, my info was right. his is where they all are." He said quietly. He allowed a grin to split his face wide, momentarily, before dismissing it. "Alright, time to make my move." Standing up from his vantage point, Black headed down to the underground city. Rather than his usual attire, he was wearing a ragged, blue t-shirt, with a red jacket and torn up jeans. Nothing like what he preferred to wear, but worth it, nonetheless. He had also put on a wig, with shaggy blond hair. He tracked the girl all the way to her house, and began his ruse, dismissing all of his former, and true, self. He walked up to her, as she messed with her door, and began. "Erm.. excuse me, miss... I'm kind of new here... could you show me around?"

"Eh?" Kairi turned around when she heard the newcomer's voice. She had no clue who he was, so she decided to ask the obvious: "Wait, who are you?". Kairi wasn't going to be a prick and tell him to get lost or anything, but when some guy randomly walks up to you asking for a tour, you'd like to know their name first, right? This is what Kairi thought, at least. Even though she still had that door to fix before doing anything.

"S-so sorry..." He muttered when asked his name. "My name is John. I'm new around here, and I just chose a random person to ask... sorry if I bothered you..." He looked down, and blushed slightly, continuing the illusion of being embarrassed by Kairi. "Bah!" Black thought, "How could I forget something so trivial! If I keep making mistakes like that... My job would end quite early, and not in the good way." Looking up sheepishly, he started talknig again. "Once again, I am sorry if I was a nuisance... I just don't know where to go, or what to do... I was hoping you could help me out."

(Adrian: 4000 LP)
(Unnamed officer: 1500 LP)

This was far too easy for Adrian’s taste, beating this meat bag.
He had not even taken a scratch and the police officer was nearly beaten

"I´m afraid this is the beginning of the end for you" Adrian spoke, gloating in what was about to happen.

"Are you crazy! My Stygian Sergeants will demolish anything you summon" The officer retaliated, clearly scared of what would happen.

The two headed demon riding on a twisted and demonic looking motorcycle looked as it could barely wait for an opportunity to crush something weaker than it, something Adrian did not plan to grant.

"Then watch as your last sliver of hope fades away"

"I tune my level 2 Infernity Beetle with my level 4 Cybernetic Cyclopean and my level 2 Infernity Dwarf"
The black beetle on Adrian’s field transformed into three green rings and covered the giant green ogre with cybernetic parts and the gray skinned dwarf, dressed in what looked like old farmers clothes and wielding a giant axe.

A bright flash of light shot through the rings and caused the monsters to disappear.

"You will regret ever laying eyes on me, human, I synchro summon, Infernity Doom Dragon!"
Where there previously had been three monsters, there was now only a dark and rather skinny dragon, the head appeared malformed and on it, there was something similar to a crown but possibly just another misshapen part.

Adrian laughed close to manically as the dragon descended next to him.
He extended an arm and imitated patting the thing on the back, something the Solid Vision technology and his own psychic powers helped accomplish a working illusion.

"What in the world is that hideous thing?!" The officer spoke, now not even trying to hide the fact that he was terrified.

"This, officer, is your death!"

What's up with this guy? I just asked for his name, and he looks like he did something completely wrong and stupid. Kairi thought, the guy kinda looked too shy and embarrassed over that little thing. "Don't apologize. I mean, it's not your fault that you don't know your way around here. You said you were new to these parts, right?" first thing the girl decided to do was to make it so he didn't feel so bad. "I'll show you around." she continued, agreeing to give him the tour. Kairi's been here her whole life, so she knew the place like the back of her hand. "I'm Kairi, by the way."

Near an abandoned building in the Satellite, Jason stood looking at a picture of his friend, whom the Nexus Brotherhood had killed months in front of countless students.

"Why", he shouted, punching the closest wall to him. "Why did they did have to take you away from me? As he said those words, tears began to drip from his eyes. "Akari, I'll avenge you...by taking down the Nexus Brotherhood! They'll pay for what they've done to us! I make this vow upon my deck!"

After making his vow, Jason ran home to collect his Duel Disc to prepare to take on the biggest challenge of his life. He wasn't going to let his best friend's death be in vain.

Black nodded as Kairi spoke. "nice to meet you, Kairi... I'm John... Erm... Did I already say that? Sorry... Sorry for apologizing too. I can't really help it..." He looked away, red as a tomato. "A-anyways... yeah, I'm new around here... I'm not too sure what I'm doing at the moment..." He continued to look away, as he let his thoughts take over for a moment. "Heh, she really is pretty. It helps the ruse. Still, I'll be ridding this planet of that pretty face, if it ever gets in my way." He allowed a mental grin, but no physical change. "So, umm... Where would I, erm... live? Or go to do... whatever? Again, I'm sorry for being new..."

Lennox felt the pressence of a powerful dark force. "Looks like i made it." He said softly, as two duelists came into his view. One who he knew by sight, one of his brethren. The other, by the looks of his appearance, a Securities. "My my, what a predicament the man seems to be in." Lennox thought, as he gazed at the horrific dragon which stared down the Security officer. "I wonder how long he'll suffer." Lennox kept him self hidden in the darkness, but a brethren Nexus Brotherhood would be able to pick him from the darkness due to his pendant. Rather then putting his hands in his pockets like he usally did, Lennox crossed his arms and gently lent on his right-knee. He didn't stick around long for the first Brotherhood massacare, but this he was prepared to see. "It's almost like a show, set up just for this perfect night."

"I see, Lennox is watching" Adrian thought as he sensed a low amount of energy, radiating from Lennox´s pendant, signaling that it wasn´t active and barely allowing Adrian to identify its bearer.
"I hope he enjoys the show then" Adrian continued his thoughts with a smirk.

"Now, I activate this"
A facedown card on Adrian’s field flipped up, showing the picture of a male duelist, holding transparent cards.

"It´s called Phantom Hand"

The two cards in Adrian’s hand appeared to slowly disappear, looking more and more transparent by the second.
"Now you see them, now you don´t" Adrian added with a grin as his cards became invisible in the eyes of the police officer.

In truth, it was a simple trick, assisted almost completely by Adrian´s psychic powers, which meant anyone with psychic powers of their own would still see the cards to different degrees depending how their powers matched up to Adrian´s.
The other members of the brotherhood would still almost see them clear as day, but this human was not a member, seeing the cards disappear completely, and trying its best not to freak out entirely.

"Now, since I don´t have a hand, thanks to my Phantom Hand, I can activate my Infernity Doom Dragon´s ability" Adrian continued, doing his best to regain his self control.
The officer may have been a disappointment regarding resistance but Adrian still enjoyed every second of the chances he got to slowly torture the human before killing it.

"Infernity Doom Breath!"

The black dragon released a stream of pitch-black energy from its mouth, which enveloped and slowly destroyed the other monster.

The officer flinched in pure pain as his life point counter dropped by 1100 points, landing on a mere 400.

"This is your last turn, officer, you better make it good" Adrian spoke, ending with a laughter of pure excitement.
