Its basically petty much an opponent negating Rai-Oh >_> except it stops cards like Cards for Black Feathers, Allure and the like

It's a one-turn surprise Protector of the Sanctuary. I mean, let's say your opponent attacks your face-down Morphing Jar. When they declare their attack, use this, they think "...okay." They flip over your Morphing Jar. "Oh SH*T!"

Morphing Jar+Double Summon+Protector of the Sanctuary+Desert Sunlight combo deck just got a bit more flexible.

However, even if that does happen, the Morphing Jar combo should still work (but you can't Flip Summon Jar). You just can't do something like discard this, and then activate Card Destruction. Being Spell 2, as opposed to Protector's Spell Speed 1, you should be able to chain to effects that draw, and screw the opponent that way.

I see you have a lot of time on your hands. Side tech against Blackwings or Six Sams when the TSS come out. Good card.

A FLIP Effect is not an Ignition Effect. Of course you can Flip Summon Morphing Jar while Protector of the Sanctuary is face-up on the field/Droll and Lock Bird is in effect. Since a FLIP effect is Mandatory, it will activate and resolve successfully. Both players Discard, and the opponent of who controls "Protector of the Sanctuary" will not draw.

Also, Wikia currently lists the effect as:
[i]If your opponent adds a card(s) from their Deck to their hand, except during the Draw Phase, you can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard. For the rest of this turn, neither player can add card(s) from their Deck to their hand. (Drawing cards is also considered as "adding a card to the hand.")[/i]

If this is the real effect, it seems to have that annoying Appropriate/Forced Requisition activation issue that'll make it a lot less useful.

Dag gummit! I wanted this to be abusable with Morphing Jar. Maybe it would get Morphing Jar banned in a few formats.
Sadly, that isn't the case if this text is true.

Holy crap, this card just got crappier with its new condition of activation.
