[center]2017 - The Beginning[/center]

School is over and Summer Break is here. You're off for three months and you plan to have as much fun as possible before it's time to hit the books once more. To start, you quickly rush home and get comfortable as your computer boots up. Once it's on, you immediately open an internet window using whatever browser you have. Preferably Firefox. Anyway, you search for it on Google, get to it from your favorites, or you get to it any other way. You're at the Main Site, and you log in. Is it your first time? Is it not? Because it doesn't matter, just have fun.

It's just a game, after all.

((My beginning will be posted with my next post. This is just to start things off and get them moving. You can start in any open server you want except the Netslum.))

Summer had finally started and that meant that now Marcellus, like any other user of the game, would be on The World much more often with all the additional free time now open to him. Junior year in private high school had passed. And it hadn't been much more exciting than any year prior to it. Marcellus was happy to on break. The World was much more exciting to him than life was. As he got into his room, he casually tossed his things onto his bed for the last time for a few good months.
[i]"Why'd I bother brining a bag with me anyway? Nothing ever happens on the last day of school and you don't ever need anything. Even the teachers don't want to be there. Well then, time to log in."[/i] Marcellus thought as he sat down in front of his desk and slowly pulled himself up to the face the computer.

The computer was still on as Marcelllus often forgot to turn it off at nights. Currently he hadn't turned it off for about three days straight. He'd probably force himself to turn it off tonight now that he remembered how long it'd been on. He pulled up The World's log in screen rather quickly as it was one of a few places he ever went on the internet. He typed in the log in info without really thinking. His current lack of focus showed as he was told he had entered the wrong password or username. Sighing a bit and pulling up closer to the screen to focus he once again entered the log in info. This time it worked and he decided on heading to go into Mac Anu, the root town of the Delta server. No need to go adventuring far from familiar territory on the first day of break.

Before he really knew what happened, Marcellus was in the world. The log in always caught him by surprise, but then again, getting inserted into a game world would probably catch a lot of people off guard. As always Kayetan, the name Marcellus went by in The World, looked over his appearance briefly, saw his outfit and weapons to be in order and proceeded to start wandering about the town. He had initially appeared near an @HOME, or guild base, as he often seemed to. It was sort of funny since he had never joined a guild. And the fact that he hadn't still confused him a bit. But he didn't pay it much mind.
[i]"Guess I just wander around some more? Maybe something fun will pop up on its own."[/i] Kayetan thought. He then started wandering off towards the Mercenary District of town. While he never officially took jobs, it was the place to find out about Player Killers. He didn't like the idea of weak players being taken advantage of so going to the place where PKer information circulated was a worthwhile stop for him.

Holland leaned back in his chair and looked at his computer with a blank stare....
He switched over to the community forum and browsed the new topics that popped up however most where people looking for rare items, PK traps trying to lure in newbies and the usual "CC Corp is evil" and "Strange monster" Rumors. After a brief moment he decided to click onto the world
It took a breif moment to update then showed the main page
Holland was greated by a picture of a industrail slum like town in the background and "The World" Logo
He payed no attention to it and simple clicked the "Log in" button as he reached for his head mounted dispay.

~Welcome to, The world~
Now holland was greated by a much diffrent picture. It was a city built along the water with a bright orange sunset over it.

Hollands field of vision changed from his own to that of his in-game avatar "Zephyr". Zephyr Wasted little time taking in the detailed room that he warped into and quickly turned around to look at the chaos gate, A cluster of large spinning gold rings with several blue wisps in the center. He checked his items and equipment to make sure he had anything he needed
Health Drink- 25 Sprite Drop- 34 Antidote Soda- 11 Stimulat Soda- 8 Blessing Soda- 7 And a large cluster of Spells, and a Wing of Lufu Equipped to his Grimoire "Typhoon". With a slight smirk knowing that he had his character ready since the last time he played. Zephyr then looked up at the chaos gate and selected some random keywords that sounded promising to him...
Dancing Red Plum's Phoenix

As it warped him in he was greated by his favorite type of area. It was stormy with rain pounding down making the ground wet and marshy. Lightning could be seen flashing from time to time, However he heard one sound he rather hated.. The sound of damage being inflicted and a large blue cylinder with the words "Battle Area" were on screen.
Zephyr stood looking at it.... [i]This guy could use my help, Its wrong for people to PK like this...... But what if i get PKed? Hmmmm[/i] After a while standing there zephyr knew what to do. *Sigh* [i]Its just a game, Its just a game.....[/i]

Zephyr slowly stepped into the area of combat. As he stepped in his character pulled out his grimoire from under his cloak and yelled one of its default battle cries "Are you ready for the storm?". A kneeling Flick Reaper was infront of him, The name "Uberman" above his head. she had a fairly defualt character look, the type of person who either bashed through the character creator or didnt know what they where doing, Most likely the latter as she was LV 4 in a LV 21 area and had a extreamly stupid name. The PK looked up. [color="#000000"]"Oh good, I caught another bug in my web~ Tehe"[/color] The PK's character was a short Shadow Warlock like himself. She wore a gothic outfit, All black and very revealing with Spiderweb Patterns all over, the type of character that could easily pull a newbie in. Above her head was the name "Black Widow" a LV 20. [i]Just how dense is this guy? Not only is he way to weak to be here but when a person who looks like that with that kind of name approches you shouldnt your first instict be to run?[/i] Holand thought to himself. [i]Even if i have a small LV advantage and i use this guy as a meatshield this wont be easy, Shes so small my "Draft Spire" wont do much more than annoy her... Mabey if i-[/i] Zephyr was caught off guard mid thought as the PK wasted no time in her attack. A wave of energy surrounded her as she charged up a spell. Zephyr's mind raced then his eyes caught onto the newbie still kneeling on the ground. [color="#00BFFF"]"Hey you! Hit her quick!" [/color]Zephyr yelled. The Player looked up [color="#FFA500"]"Wha- What?" [/color]Holland Groaned [i]Great this guy dosnt even get the basics, how the heck did he manage to get this far?[/i] [color="#00BFFF"]"Hit her now! It well stop her spell" [/color]But it was too late. A Web formed on the ground where Zephyr and the other player stood. A poison and paralyzed status popped up over there heads. [i]Dammit....[/i] Zephyr watched as the other player struggeled about trying to figure out what happened. The pk's annoying laugh started up again [color="#000000"]"Time to finish you off~ Tehe"[/color] She charged another spell for a moment than a Black Spider formed in the center of the web and crawled over to the new player [color="#FF8C00"]" Ack! What is that thing? Get it away from me!"[/color] The spider showed its large fangs and bit into the player. Health started to be sapped off of the character and the PK's HP started to go up [i]Great.....Now what am i gonna do....[/i] Zephyr thought...

Duex sat at both his computers. Singularity was worthless, beuty existed only in pairs. His two seperate computers were pricy but with his duel trade networks he could afford it, hell, he was loaded. He was checking both Pesterchum and Trollian at the same time with his duel computers. Sometimes he worried if he needed a life but he always knows this is just nonsense. Too many people have a life in the world, he is just balancing it out, it's nessecery for perfection. Duox then checked his email on a whim, once again looking at the one that gave him his epiwhatevers, he then deleted it, it's a sin to check anything more then twice. He then checked his watch, it was 2:02 PM, he needed to go to the World. Oh course he broke his watch with a different watch a long time ago, it is always 2:02 for Duox, but even a broken clock is right twice.

That's just how Duex likes it.

[Mysterium Tremendum]

Jack Sniders sat in bed with a lightly bruised knee. The last day of school and Jack had the worst luck. He'd missed the ending ceremony and was sent home early after tripping and falling down the main stairs. Normally Jack wasn't clumsy, so when it rains it pours. The one time Jack picked to be a tumble foot was on his way up the long stairs from the main hall and caused Jack complete humiliation. He missed his footing on a stair and fell backwards and ended up dragging the goth girl in back with him and sending the both of them falling from the top of the stairs banging Jack's ribs and thigh against the rail on the way down and landing with both of them unconscious and laid out on top of one another in a position Jack was happy he wasn't conscious to experience. Jack woke up in the infirmary along with the unconscious girl he'd fallen on and was told of the incident by his peers as his face turned scarlet pink and he was immediately sent home 4 hours before the school day let out.

When Jack finally saw the 4 hours go by, he almost jumped out of bed like his injuries were non-existent. The World would be filling up with players that would be getting out of school and that meant there would be plenty of PKing to get done. Jack slowly clutching his ribs and lower thigh, hobbled over to the computer he kept in his room. His room was a wide-setting with Jack's bed at one end and his computer at the other. Miraculously, Jack made it over to his computer and immediately turned it on and waited a few seconds to come to the main desktop screen. Jack went straight to the "The World" Icon and clicked. The login screen came up, and Jack didn't hesitate to quickly click the "Log In" and wait for the game to switch from the background screen of the industrial city to the serene sight of Mac Anu and Jack jumped headfirst into it.

Albane materialized in front of the Chaos Gate. A few characters scattered around the general area with the Save Data NPC and Shop NPCs a little bit to the left and right. Albane turned around immediately to begin his PKing journey. Normally he'd take a little time to decide and plan his PK spree, but he'd dealt with enough and just wanted to PK without reserve. All he needed was his Maximas since he was just going to PK in a Level 25 Zone, often filled with people 11 to 17 levels below his 40. He immediately entered in the words: Hidden Daytime Disaster. A fitting Wordset.

((Huh. I was kinda hoping we'd be more active than this. It's late here though, so I guess that's to be expected.))

Immediately logging in when she could, Mizore's PC: Yuki, had appeared within Mac Anu. Standing before the Chaos Gate, she decided to observe some of her surroundings before moving, to see if anything had changed. Other than the large swarm of players running around, nothing seemed different other than activity. Still carefully watching the things around her, Yuki walked out of the area and went outside. Things were much more ridiculous, because she saw people [i]everywhere[/i]. It was Summer, so she should've known better. Quietly making her way over to a NPC, the girl started looking into some quests. Yuki's attention was focused on a recently added one: "The Thunder Chase", which rewarded the player(s) with a nice amount of GP and a new weapon. She thought her weapon that she had be registered with was good enough, so she was more into the GP prize.

"Sorry. But two or three players are required for this quest." the NPC told her when Yuki tried to accept it. Now what? She couldn't do much. Half of those quests required a partner or a party of three. So, Yuki turned around and being looking in town for someone. Maybe she'll find someone to invite into her party this time. Then again, she hasn't be sucessful in this task for this long, so...

After another long day at his job, Josh arrived home. He unlocked the door, walked in, and shot towards the room with his computer. Within moments, he was at the machine, logging on to the World: R2 once more. As he logged in, he decided that he would try and go for a quest. He knew they were rare for single parties, but it could not hurt, right? With the log in finished, Black appeared in Mac Anu, and began to head towards the quest center. As he arrived, he heard the NPC tell a female player that the missions needed a two to three man team to complete. Dejected, Black decided on just going around town for some reason, so he quietly turned away, andd began to walk off.

Zephyr suddenly had an idea. The web and spider started to fade away but the other player was quickly loosing HP and was almost dead. [color="#00BFFF"]Get up and hit her now! As long as you stay at a distance and keep her from charcing her spells she wond be able to do anything![/color] The other player finally seemed to understand and ran up just in range for his sythe to graze her Character. A agitated look grew over the PK "Cheap little bugs....." Zephyr took no notice of this and began to charge a spell of his own, Pages of his book started to flip as if the wind had caught them and landed on a certain page. In between hits the PK managed to pull of a attack, slamming her book into the side of the flick reaper who was sent flying. "Your next~ Tehe" She began to charge at Zephyr but when she got within a few feet of him he looked up from his grimoire.

A blast of wind shot out from behind zephyr catching the PK off guard and flinging her backwards sevral feet. As she began to get back up the torrent of rain began to collect into a sphere infront of Zephyr. It launched forward catching her in the left shoulder and spun her character around, throwing her once again into the mud as she started to get back up she glared at zephyr. "Ugh, You son of a bi-" Finally a Bolt of lightning struck down the PK. Her Character jumped and twisted in a unnatural way before falling to the ground. Her HP was flashing... she wasnt dead but a single blow would finish her off. Zephyr walked up to the Player whos character still hadent risen. [color="#00BFFF"].....[/color]
Her head turned and she scowled at him "What are you waiting for? Finish me, Its the way of the world, The strong destroy the weak..." Zephyr knew defeating the PK would only make him the same as her, A person who strikes down those who are weaker than himself, then an idea popped into his head.... [color="#00BFFF"][i]Im not going to kill you.....He is.[/i][/color] He turned his head to the Flick Reaper who had been standing in the corner, His character looked suprised then pointed to himself. [color="#FFA500"][i]Me?[/i][/color]. A annoyed look crossed Zephyrs face. [i][color="#00BFFF"]Of Course you, do you see ANYONE else here?[/color][/i]. The PK began to panic "Wait- If i get killed by a low level noob like that and it gets out ill never be able to show my face around here again!" Zephyr Smirked [i][color="#00BFFF"]Thats the idea...[/color][/i] Zephyr turned and started to walk away as the sound of the sythe swinging through the air followed by the default sound of a dieing female PC rung out. The EXP screen popped up and the other player gained a large amout of EXP, leveling him up. Zephyr began to walk to the chaos gate, this area obviously wasnt the best choice.... [color="#FFA500"]Uh HEY! Wait up![/color] the Flick reaper sprinted up to Zephyrs side as he kept walking. [color="#FFA500"]thanks for the save man, i dont know what i would have done without your help[/color]. Zephyr without looking replyed in a emotionless voice [color="#00BFFF"]I didnt do it to help you, People like that are scum and the only way to truely hurt them is to attack what they care the most about, Their pride...[/color] Zephyr then accessed the warp gate and moved back to Mac Anu.

"Now for those countless hours of grinding to be put to use!"

Renard sat himself down onto his wooden chair, and turned on his computer, waiting impatiently for it to activate. [i]C'mon, C'mon, I didn't sit through a whole school year with those idiots for nothing![/i] Finally his computer background was in sight, Renard clicked onto his perferred browser, Firefox, taking a moment to admire his Trollian Persona he had obtained from the store before taking his shortcut to The World's main site.

Quickly clicking the "Log In" button he jutted in his memorized information

Gilgamesh then spawned outside the Chaos Gate. [i]A lot of people here... maybe I will get my Party assembled! But where to go... I KNOW! They said they added a new quest, but it requires a multi-person-party! Oh Renard you genius[/i]

Dashing over to the NPC he had heard of on the forum, Gilgamesh saw that he was correct, a young female character was being rejected from going on the quest due to not having multiple people.

Seeing the opening, Gilgamesh quickly grabbed the woman by the hand and shook it rapidly. "HII'MGILGAMESHIHEARDYOUDON'THAVEAPARTYWOULDYOULIKETOJOINMINE?"

[Blake]

The commotion behind him scared Black, and caused him to jump. He quickly turned around, and held his arms close, in a sort of self hug, to tell himself he was alright. The sight that greeted him was an eccentric person shaking the hand of the female player he had previously seen. This new person looked odd, to Black. Even his own scales and horns did not seem as odd as this man. He wanted to run away, because the man seemed so excited, but he could not. He just stood there, trying to discern what the loud player was saying as he spoke too quickly.

Yuki had the most confused and dumbfounded look on her face when the very... err... overexcited player interacted with her. Mizore couldn't even think of a response because she had no clue what the guy had even said. Maybe this was a chance to make a new friend, but maybe it wasn't a good idea to get involved with crazy people. "...What?" the girl asked him, still amazed at his introduction. If you can even call it that. She might as well try to understand him, because she [i]really[/i] wants to go on that quest.

[i]Oh crap! I didn't plan this far, she must think I'm a total nutcase now...

Just try to act calm.. don't make her think you're a idiot.[/i]

"Umm sorry about that..." Gilgamesh said, backing away from the female in front of him slightly. "I just get a little excited when I meet people... Anyways, I was thinking of taking on this here quest, but I don't have a party with me yet. So I was hoping maybe you'd want to join me and do the quest together?" Already Gilgamesh was sweating, he had not really had many friends in the past, so he wasn't sure whether this was a "normal" way to ask someone to join them.

[Ice.]

Scarlet immediately jumped on her bed and pulled out her laptop. The computer booted up as she pulled out Google Chrome and scrolled through her favorites. She stopped at the link to "The World" and smirked. "This addictive crap is really getting a hold of me. Not like I care though." Scarlet clicked on the website and went to the Log In page, smirking. She uttered her Username and Password as she typed the following.

Ice appeared around the Chaos Gate. She walked around the place slowly, examining the area. [i]"This place never ceases to astound me. It's just...so interesting." [/i]She stopped daydreaming and turned her attention to that new annoying NPC. "Oh, that new party quest. I have nothing better to do. I might as well grind." Ice then started to walk towards the NPC, thinking about how the quest would operate and if her party would at least be mildly competent and get through it fast.

"Oh don't worry about it! This is my first party too! I'm sure you'll do just fine, umm... Yuki is it?" Gilgamesh opened the status page for his new teammate.

[i]Hmm.... Blade Brandisher, Level 14... I could do much worse. Though I am a good bit stronger then her right now, she'll be able to learn! Plus at least I got someone that I can work with now.[/i]

Gilgamesh then pressed the "Send Party Request" Button under the statistics list.

[i]I hope she'll accept, she seems like a okay person.... I'd hate to be stuck with some newbie with a jackass attitude[/i]

On his way to the Mercenary district, Kayetan passed by a rather odd scene. There was an NPC that was offering a few party quests and two players around the NPC. There was one girl and one guy. The girl seemed to be frantically moving through things and Kayetan thought he caught something about this being her first time in a party. It seemed the girl hadn't had too many positive experiences with people online at least. Either that or she just preferred to keep to herself. The man Kayetan saw just sort of gave off an energetic feeling, and he wasn't sure if the man wanted to go on a quest or just go fight something. Kayetan thought the situation over a bit. A familiar nagging feeling came in and he knew he wouldn't be able to just pass by the girl.
[i]"Time to go help."[/i] he thought.

He calmly walked up to the two and lightly tapped the girl on the shoulder just to get her attention. Due to his appearance he liked to sort of present himself as the nobleman he thought himself to be in The World.
"Excuse me, would you like a little help? I'm afraid I happened to overhear a bit of your conversation, you'll have to forgive me for eavesdropping. But I believe you said something about not having joined a party before." he said with a friendly smile on his face. "Joining a party isn't all that hard, just calm down a little and we can get you through the process." he said. Just then the man sent her the party request.
"Oh, looks like your friend simplified things for you a bit." Kayetan said as Gilgamesh began to move things along.

[Mysterium Tremendum]

As soon as Albane had entered in the keywords, he appeared in a typical cave dungeon with waterfalls to the left and right and a long walkway. Albane walked forward casually to the first room with the stone walls. Several small monsters resembling Fungi walked in the middle of the room while a chim-chim train carried Chim-Chims across the back. Albane sighed and quickly skirted around the monsters walking in the middle. He hated fighting annoying monsters especially at his level. After going through a few more rooms and either skirting around monsters or dusting them off in a hurry, Albane saw 2 people standing in the middle of a room. One was a man and the other was a woman character. From behind the entrance to the walkway, Albane could tell they were on some kind of date. Deciding now was the perfect time to ruin the moment, Albane drew his sword "Viper's Ambition" and charged at the two lovers before they could react and dealing damage to the man's character quickly. The two were both Level 23 and the battle was quick and decisive without even much to surprise Albane. The man stood up from the surprise attack and took a healing serum before his girlfriend started shouting, "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!!!" and something else with "can't you see" but Albane attacked the man before she could finish and reducing his health bar to zero. The female stood with her staff in hand in a petty effort of self-defense, obviously a harvest cleric. Albane snuffed and quickly disposed of her meager health bar. With both of them down, Albane took one more shot at the two, "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm PKing you!" Albane knelt down and looked through the inventory of the male and female. It was filled with junk to him, but Albane took a Blade since the male was a Blade brandier and he had a soft spot for blades. The female Harvest cleric had nothing of value but Albane took a piece of armor anyway to spite her resistance. Albane walked off from the couple leaving the characters to dissolve and Albane continued through the dungeon.

He found nothing more of interest in the dungeon and the Beast Statue had nothing that even interested him. With a sigh Albane turned toward the Warp Point while thinking, "[i]Why do I never get more than a single PK party per dungeon? Why do people prefer fields more?[/i]" Albane warped out of the dungeon with what meager spoils he'd gained.

Zephyr streched infront of the chaos gate [i][color="#00BFFF"]Well i cant say i had a boring day so far..[/color][/i] Zephyr thought to himself.... [i]Might as well check out whats going on....[/i]. Zephyr walked out of the large dome building and started walking down the long bridge to a kind of plaza where guilds set up shop. [i]Mabey ill find somthing intresting for sale......[/i]. He entered the main area and browsed the shops for a moment. After finding nothing that he wanted he continued down a set of back allys until he reached a second, shorter and less crowded bridge. he walked over to the railing and looked out. In real life holland reached for a fan he knew was on his desk and turned it on... With the wind blowing in game and in real life, holland and zephyr felt as one.... The wind curved around him and he basked in the fake sunlight of the game.... [i][color="#00BFFF"]Even if its just a game..... it somtimes feels so......real...[/color][/i]

"Yes. It's Yuki." she replied, while her real life persona immediately accepted the invite without hesitation. The very feeling of just clicking that button was amazing. This was her first party! Even though she hadn't actually started the Quest, even her PC, Yuki, couldn't hide the excitment she was feeling. Then, she turned to the newcomer and listened to his words. Just as she was ready to respond, she had gotten the other invite. Now Mizore was just as happy as a teenage schoolgirl on her first day. She had a full party for the first time in her life. Maybe her future wasn't so dark and lonely. The girl quickly accepted the next invite.

Though, she [i]really[/i] needs to remember that she still has to start the Quest.

"Um... Gilgamesh and Kayetan, right?" Yuki asked for confirmation after seeing there names from the invites.

Duex then entered the game. Cause he spent enough time wasting around. Immediately upon entering the game, Dueduox did a quick double check over his items, no reason really but the fact that it had the word double in it. He liked doubles. They made him feel if he's life was whole. But that's odd, his life was perfect, it was in two beautiful pieces, just like all of perfection.

Then he caught sight of her. Her scarlet hair flowing, the way she walked with confidence towards the npc.

She had control of her life, both of them. He could only control one.

She was beautiful, flawless, and everything he wasn't.

It was disgusting but he had to pity her. She was such a waste, she needed to understand the importance of twos, even if it killed him. In fact, he hoped it would, if he died then he could get to die in both realms, and he'd be even more perfect.

He walked up to Ice, causually backsteping every other step. "2o ii can 2ee you are goiing to try a que2t. ii would liike to a22ii2t you. Two ii2 better than one in any fea2iible 2iituatiion." Dueduox hoped she would accept, it was hard to deal with rejection when you had to make sure someone else rejected you as well or you'd be forced to purge yourself again.

Still not exactly sure how it happened, Kayetan had joined the party to the two, Gilgamesh and Yuki as he could now see their names, had been attempting to form. He was okay with going along with them but something or rather someone else was on his mind. There was another user who had been nearby the two the whole while. He hadn't been speaking much so Kayetan had assumed he didn't know them but he was looking on rather intently. Turning back to Yuki, Kayetan decided to bring it up.
"Yeah, my screename's Kayetan. Nice to meet you Yuki, and you as well Gilgamesh. But are you sure you want me in your party? Wasn't he with you? He seemed rather interested in what you two were going on about." Kayetan said motioning to Black. He hadn't intended to take another player's spot in the party so if Black was with the two he wasn't going to hesitate to rectify the situation.

He then realized it was probably impolite to just reference the other man without directly addressing him. Though he'd be repeating himself a little bit, he felt it best to talk with the other user.
"I'm sorry sir, were you intending to join these two? I didn't mean to take your chance away if you were." Kayetan said as he turned to face and talk with Black. Sometimes he cursed his inability to not help people. It always led to situations where he had to apologize to a lot of different people for things he hadn't intended to do just because he had been helping someone. Still, he was glad to have made the girl so happy about having a party but at the same time he didn't want Black angry at him for taking a position. It was complicated, but that was just the weird kind of person Kayetan was.

Albane appeared out of the chaos gate and almost decided to punch in another number to find more noobies and PK them, but for some reason he felt exhausted. He wasn't the bloodthirsty type, but most people believed PKers to be sadistic, sad, or just plain mean so who was he to shatter their illusion. Albane decided to just look around for awhile. He really would like to find some books and increase his SP if he could buy any. He had a total of 80,000 GP saved up from selling items and gear that he took from his PK victims and decided to just look around town and maybe find some people to trade with and maybe join a guild since he'd decidedly shut out most others. With the thought in his mind, Albane walked out of the dome and just serenely walked down the long walkway toward the town plaza. The town plaza was filled with quite a few people, not to Albane's surprise and everyone seemed to be either shopping or just talking with others. Albane walked around the plaza for a little bit, taking note of some of the players that he saw. There was a girl in a black gothic dress that caught Albane's eye for a second. She had a small group around her and they were near the quest NPC so Albane figured they might be going on some sort of quest. Albane sat on the rim of the water fountain and scrutinized the group.

N-n-no... I-i don't know them... C-continue on, if you like..." He mumbled, closing in on himself, red, like a lobster, in the face. "I-if you were g-gonna join them... go ahead..." Black looked away from Kayetan and the group, scared witless. He knew they had done nothing to hurt him, nor did they have any intentions of such, but he could not let down his shell that quickly. It was bad enough he had to talk as much as he did. Shuffling about, in place, he spoke again. "I-i'd like to be on a team, b-but I realize you got there first... S-so do what you want... I-i'm not here, f-for that decision..."

Scarlet stopped for a second as she heard somebody talk to her.She turned around to see who she would call a 'Multicolored Freak'. She shook off his odd appearance and tried to reply to his comment. "Uhh...what?" Asked the girl, not understanding what he said. She took time to figure out his pattern, and finally got it. "Oh. You want to help me on this new Party Quest thing? Sure...I guess. But why are you replacing the Ss with 2s and doubling the Is? Whatever though." Scarlet sighed. At least she had somebody to help her. And if he sucked, she'll get a new trolling target. She sent him a request to join her party and tried to be optimistic. [i]"He won't suck. We'll finish the party. But why the hell did he choose me?" [/i]

"Oh come off it! There's enough room for four here eh?" Things had gone even better then planned, a four man party? They'll be the best fighters in no time, he quickly checked the levels and stats of his possible new recruits. [i]Wow, these guys are almost as high as me! Twin Blade and Flick Reaper would probably make a balanced team, plus they seem to be fairly capable of holding their own.[/i] "Alright then it's settled!" Gilgamesh sent two party requests to the new two recruits. "Now then! Should we be going off on our quest? ...What was the quest again?" Gilgamesh stood rigid for a moment before running back to the NPC. "Umm.... what was the newest quest you handed out?"
