The alien race that the Zerg were based off of.

They range in the billions at a minimum and fight to only eat. They are controlled by a Hivemind with no physical form. They possibly were created by a space faring demi-god who'se madness unleashed a alien race that don't colonize planets, they strip them of everything and then leave.

What they lack of soul and technology, they make it up ten fold with numbers and bioengineered weapons.

They charge recklessy into battle, not caring about death.

A alien race created by another alien race to become perfect.

They assimilate other alien races to add to their hive. They number in the millions and rapidly colonize planets. They can use viruses and the such to "infest" other races and use them to do their bidding.

They have a understanding of Terran and Protoss technology but have no need to use any of them.

Their armor and weapons are equal to terms of defense and offense compared to modern weaponry.

Through the use of "Creep" they can easily colonize hundreds of miles of land and provide food for their units.
