Auralady
Trinity's brain became foggy but not enough to really effect him as a draagon. He could already feel the fire inside him starting to burn off any poison left in his system. Realizing his wings were an advantage over Kyusei he rose into the air. HE dug his claws into the side of a building and clung to it. "To bad snakes can't fly. You might have a better chance at close combat then." Trinity shot a jet of fire down at Kyusei. The telekenetic shockwave threw Silence into a parked car. She got up and rubbed her head grinning at Xena, "Well you sure show'd me. Unfortunetly for you my poison is still effecting ou. No matter how tough you are a little bit of my poison will have you on your knees in seconds." She looked around at the gathered cops and the news helicopters now circling overhead. Then she scanned the rubble and smiled wider. "Well then. It looks like my job here is doen for today." She looked back at Xena, "I'll see you again soon. Anthromorph promise." She ggigled before transforming into a red fox and slipping out of sight into a dark allyway. "Can't wait.", Xena hissed under her breath. She grabed the place the poison daggers had broken the skin and touched it. SHe winced. 'Flying's not going to be an easy task but I don't really have a choice now.' Xena transformed into the abnormally large raven and spred her wings. SHe took to the sky. Xena kept climbing untill her midnight feathers blended to the dark nioght sky. She angled around and headed for home.
Asriel Dreemurr
The white-haired shirtless young man known as Vincent quickly realized that if he wanted to have any effect at all against those who had arrived, he was going to have to step things up a bit. He quickly fell onto his hands and knees, before he rapidly transformed into an immense three-headed dog which had no fur on it's body whatsoever. As he saw the dragon that was Trinity now unleashing his jet of flames he slammed his right forepaw into the ground, causing it to shatter and shortly thereafter rise into the air in several very large chunks. These chunks were sent hurtling at the Dragon with incredible speed, while Vincent himself charged at him along the ground, his "Cerberus" form being hardly any smaller than Trinity's draconic form. When he was only about twenty meters from the building, Vincent leapt into the air with his forepaws out and all three mouths open as he tried to get a hold on the dragon with either his claws or his jaws. Spartan919
Jerome was about to respond to Helel's comment about his views on justice, but the man cut into the forest. "Hey, wait up!" he cried out, leaping into a sprint to catch up with him. He ran for only a few minutes before stopping. "Alright, you took us into the forest. Now, let me show you my animal form." He blinked, then closed his eyes. Opening them, they were a pale golden. Fur began to grow on his body, and other changes occurred, until all that was left was a gray wolf, standing at about four feet tall. Jerome blinked again, shook his head, and peered into Helel's eyes. Come on, now show me why you were so interested about me being an Anthromorph. He willed Helel to hear him, though he had no way of talking or communicating anyway. CrystalCyae
Zasuka stopped suddenly, hearing the sound of battle and cries. Looking breifly at the sky, she saw flames. Glancing around wildly, she saw the crowd disperse, clearly frightened by whatever was making the battle racket. Looking back at the forest, she saw two goverment agents, grinning, but Zasuka could see those idiot weren't to blame for the racket. Without stopping to think, she sprinted off towards the sound, short-cutting through side alleys, until she arrived at the scene of the battle. It seemed a majority of the battle was over, with only a large.....what the f***! "A dragon..... And a snake......and some other guy...... and a cerebus sort of creature..... What the hell happened here?" She muttered. Glancing at the sky again, she saw an abnormally large raven fly away. Reading it's mind quickly, painlessly, she nodded. "Another anthromorph....and those four guys on the battlefield are too..." She sighed when she spotted the news helicopters and gathering cops. "S***....... Those guys won't like this battle one bit." Creeping away into the shadows of an abandoned alley, she turned back into fire fox form, then flame surrounded her, then turned black. Unnoticed, she ran across the tops of buildings.
Navras
Helel looked on at Jerome not too impressed. So he's a gray wolf, big deal. Then again... he is a smidge tall for a wolf... "Not bad," Helel said. "Now then, Let me show you mine." Helel reached up to the buttons on his jacket and began unbuttoning them. When his jacket was removed and folded neatly on the ground, he took off his shirt and did the same with it. "I'm not going to tear up my clothes when I change," he explained to Jerome who was looking at him oddly. "Besides these, I don't have much else. Would you mind turning around while I take off the rest?" Helel waited until Jerome had turned. "Thank you," he said as he took off the rest of his clothing and folded them neatly with the rest. With the task of preserving his clothes done, he closed his eyes and let the change take over him. His skin changed from the smoothness of a humans to the rough scaliness of his reptilian form. When he opened his eyes again, they were a dull red with a black slit. Getting on all fours, he allowed the change to take full effect, his skeletal system shrinking only slightly but rearranging a lot, a tail sprouting from the nub that was his tail bone, claws extending form his feet and hands, and finally his teeth becoming fangs. With the change over with and no real way of speaking, Helel hissed at Jerome, signaling him to turn and see the komodo dragon he had become. Esplin 9466 Primary
Ryusei let out a large hiss from the pain as the fire slamed down on him. "Damn, it burns!" He hised even louder as he squirmed around smashing his body against the ground and buildings, destroying the wall to a nearby store. As the wall came crumbling down a few of the rocks fell on him. After a few minutes of rolling around in a desperate attempt, he was finaly able to extinguish the flames. "Damn you!!" He cursed, once again in his snake language, as he raised from the ground his body was covered in burns where the flame had hit and all of the snakes that had been following him where dead. His snake eyes caught a glimps of the three headed dog as it also attacked the dragon.
Auralady
Trinity managed to redirect the fire jet and create a wall of fire to block the three headed dog's attack. Of course not without getting hurt. The creature's claws cought him and ripped his side. Blood flowed freely from his side and dripped on the sidewalk. He roared in pain and anger, 'You'll pay for that one!" Still his common sense over came his sudden burst of blood lust. He took to the sky and flew off after Xena. 'This is a bad situation for a battle. Better to flee and heal then fight the next day.', he thought.
Spartan919
Jerome was about to let out a bark to reply to Helel, who was now a Komodo Dragon, when his ears, more sensitive as a wolf, picked up faint sounds. Those are the sounds of battle, he thought. The sounds were shouts, explosions, cries, and even guttural yells. He knew he had to figure out what was happening, and help if he could. Or, failing that, determine who had won the battle, and confront them. Cursing his inability to speak to Helel, he turned on his tail and ran. He put all of his energy into his legs, sprinting as fast as he could. He skidded to a stop a few feet from the battle. The first thing he saw was a giant three-headed dog, a Cerberus. Then, a dragon took to the sky, following some other animal. This is chaos. Who do I help?! Jerome let out a bark of frustration.
Esplin 9466 Primary
Ryusei made an attempt to snap at Trinity as he flew off, his body being as long as it was he could easily cover 80-90 feet while he was still on the ground, but his mouth snapped closed only a few feet behind the fleeting dragon. "Damn." He hissed and he lowered his body before returning to his 14 year old human form. He stepped out of an opening in the fire circle that had been created when he caused part of the building to fall. He eyes the three headed dog, anger filled up his eyes. "Get in my way again, dog breath, and you will be my next target."
Asriel Dreemurr
Vincent glared down at Ryusei with all three sets of eyes as the foolish boy tried to intimidate him. If there was one thing he didn't accept, it was somebody trying to intimidate him. He simply shifted his back left paw imperceptibly, causing the ground to tear itself apart beneath the Fourteen-year-old's feet and produce an immense chasm into which he would likely fall. However, Vincent wasn't the type to underestimate a foe and he was prepared to strike as soon as Ryusei made his escape from the chasm. "Don't insult me, your idea of being superior will be your undoing."
Spartan919
Jerome instantly noticed the chasm that opened beneath the then-snake-now-boy, and was shocked. Where did that come from? Was it that Cerberus? he thought while looking at the large dog-creature. Making up his mind, he quickly shifted back to his human form. Clenching his fists, he leapt in front of the boy, and faced the Cerberus. He glared at it for a moment, before turning and facing the boy. "You...I saw you change into a human. I know your an Anthromorph like me; I suppose all these animals are, aren't they? Now, before I lose my temper, and attack you as a wolf, I want you to tell me just what the heck is going on here. Got it?" He added a slight growl onto that last bit, hoping to menace the boy a little, even though they looked to be around the same age.
Esplin 9466 Primary
Without much effort Ryusei stepped off to the side as the chasm opened in the ground where he had been standing. "Too simple" He was about to start a fight with the three headed dog, but was interrupted when Jerome jumped in front of him and started asking questions. He let out a loud hiss. [s]"Out of my way old man!"[/s] He grabbed Jerome's shirt and pushed him to the side, although he knew that his human form wouldn't do much more than move Jerome about a foot so he simply stepped off to the side, and walked past. "You people aren't worth my time." He eyed the dog and then headed out to the forest. [s]"I'm getting hungry"[/s] (the text with the [s]slash[/s] are him speaking in the snake language. Navras
Helel watched Jerome runa way, confused. It's true that he was an unusual anthromorph, even among his kind considering he was a komodo dragon, but that was still no reason for Jerome to run away. Perplexed, Helel changed back into his human shape and stood naked in the forest. "What was that all about?" he asked as he reached down and began to put on his clothes. "Maybe I should wait for him... He could still be useful..."
Esplin 9466 Primary
After the fighting had ended Daichi left the area. At the moment he was now searching the woods, in his Cheetah morph, trying to find a deer or something that he could eat. "Getting blasted away by a shock wave can really work up an appetite." He grumbled. "I can't believe that I wasn't any help at all. I guess controlling shadows isn't all it's cracked up too be." He then spotted a moos strolling through the woods and his mouth started to water. "Snack time." He poured his power in to his legs and had his jaws sinking in to the animals flesh in a matter of seconds. When the moose was finally dead Daichi lifted it up in his teeth and carried it away to a cave that he lived in. "Sorry little guy. Man's gotta eat. I hope you understand." Back in the city Arashi was just leaving a hospital, he had just finished selling a batch of his phoenix tears for the doctors to use in trying to heal people. As he walked through the hallway he could almost feel the glares of some of the doctors as he passed by them. Even though he helped save lives, many of the doctors still considered him a monster. Of course there where some who acted kindly too him. "Hello doctor C" Arashi waved at one of the doctors he knew all too well as he passed by the front desk. "Have a nice day Arashi, Come again soon okay!" The doctor replied as Arashi walked out the door and in to the streets. When he was outside he looked up at the sky and noticed a black raven flying through the air. At first he thought it was perfectly normal, but second glance he noticed it was too big to be a raven. He also noticed, by the way it was flying, that it was injured. "Must be an Anthromorhp."
Auralady
Xena kept flying north unsteadily. Finally she came to the apartment and nearly crash landed on the roof top. She transformed back into a human with her wings becoming her black cloak. She pulled out a key from her pocket and unlocked the door before heading down the spiril staircase. The apartment was abandoned long ago for some reason Xena was not sure of. It was still in really great shape once Xdena had cleaned it up a bit. She took off her cloak and hung it up on a peg. Xena then walked right into the bathroom and opened up the medicine cabinet. She pulled out a small clear jar with a fabric lid and a water-like substance inside. The Anthromorph had found over the years that keeping exotic meidinces, like anti-venum, on hand was very usefull. Unfortunetly she also knew that this was no ordinary snake venum. Sure the anti-venum Xena kept on hand would hold the poison back and neutralize the toxins but it wouldn’t completely get rid of the venum. After getting some of it in her system Xena crashed on the sofa and let the anit-venum go to work.
Esplin 9466 Primary
After seeing the Large Raven pass overhead Arashi decided that he should follow it. He knew that there where very few hospitals that where actually willing to help any of the Anthromorhp's or, as they are called by the doctors Arashi has met, freaks. He walked in the direction that the raven flew, he could have used phoenix wings to fly but preferred not to use his abilities in front of normal people, hoping that he might find where the raven had landed. Auralady
Xena was exhusted. Between the battling, flight back to the apartment and the poison spreding through her system Xena wanted nothing more then to close her eyes. She laughed a little though it was half heartedly. "Well. This is what I get for not trusting any one other then myself. Damn this is one strong poison. I'll have to see a doctor in the morning. But for now this anti-venum should keep it at bay." Not knowing if anyone was in the area looking for her and too tierd to use her powers to check, Xena simply put up a physic barrier all around the apartment complex. Trinity transformed back to normal and walked along the streets again. Silence ran through the allyways grinning.
Esplin 9466 Primary
After he lost sight of the bird Arashi almost stopped looking, but he decided that he couldn't call himself a doctor if he turned his back on somebody who was injured. "If I where an anthromorph, where would I go." Arashi had to think very hard considering that he was an anthromorph. "Abandoned building would definitely be at the top of my 'places to go' list." Because he knew the area more than most, there where three abandoned buildings that he already knew about. He went to the nearest one and tried to open the door, but it was locked. "Of course, why use the front door when you can fly." Arashi looked around to make sure nobody was watching before he went in to an alleyway close to the building. A pair of bright red wings grew out of his back and started flapping until he rose from the ground and in to the air. When he got a few floors up he flew in to an open window and returned to normal. Auralady
Silence transformed back into her human self. She ran her fingers through her jet black hair thinking. 'There's no way I can take over the city with that physic raven and othergoodie-two-shoe Anthromorphs stoping me at every corner. What I need is help of some sort. But they need to have a conserable amount of power. That or have a powerfull or large transformation.' Silence headed off in search of some recruits. It took all of two seconds for Xena to realize there was a male presense in the room with her. With a bearly visiable hand movement Xena slammed the intruder up against the wall and held him there. Though there was poison in her system that didn't stop her from using her powers. Very calmly Xena spoke, "You know it's polite to knock or ring a doorbell rather then just bursting in through the window.' She stood up and kept the man pinned to the wall with her powers as she walked over and locked eyes with him. "Who are you and how did you get past my barrier? You shoud not have been able to get past it so easily." She thought about reading his mind but between the poison in her blood, keeping the barrier up and keeping this guy pinned to the wall she chose not to. She had expanded too much of her power and energy all ready. ------I thought the doctor's name was Arashi....--------
Esplin 9466 Primary
Arashi held his hands up, as he was pined to the wall, indicating that he did not mean any harm and he smiled as best as he could. "I tried using the front door, but it was locked. And considering this place is supposed to be abandoned, I wouldn't really expect anybody to answer if I used the doorbell." He tried to move his arm to see how much power was being used to hold him."My name is Arashi, I'm here to help. They wouldn't let me get a doctors license because I'm an anthromorph, but I'm bedder than most, plus I'm actually willing to help other anthromorphs. And as for the barrier, you must be more injured that you think because, I didn't feel anything stopping me until you pined me to the wall. Any more questions?" Auralady
Xena eyed Arashi critically. She didn't trust easily and normally would have sent him through the brick wall with a telekenetic pulse. But, given the circumstances, Xena spun and sat back down on the couch. When she sat down Arashi was realesed and able to move again. All most imedietly a wave of relief washed over the girl as she wasn't expending so much of her power anymore to keep Arashi against the wall. "Fine. I guess I really don't have a choice to accept your help at the moment. But one wrong move or thought and I blast you through the brick wall!", she hissed before turning away to look in the other direction.
Esplin 9466 Primary
"I'll keep that in mind." When Arashi felt the power pining him to the wall disappear he stumbled forward a bit before regaining his balance. He picked up the briefcase he had dropped, set it on the table and opened it. Inside was, with a few exceptions, anything that would be used by a doctor. "Seeing as how I couldn't get a medical license it's no easy task to get these things." He turned back towards Xena. "Unfortunately, I can't read minds like you can. All I can tell is that you're injured, but that's about it. So I'll need you to tell me what the problem is, or at least try to anyways." Auralady
Xena shrugged. "It's pretty self explanitory. came accross another Anthromorph that didn't exactly have the most positive presense I've felt before. I interfeared with what ever she was planning. She dropped the innocent little kid act and we fought. She sent a couple of daggers at me made of black poison and I managed to avoid most of them. Those that I didn't avoid cought me in my shoulder and pinned me to the brick side of a building. I transformed and flew here after the battle. I keep some of the more exotic but temporary medicines in a medicine cabinet in the bathroom. I took some anti-venum to keep the poison from spreading too quickly." She paused before going on, "I never really thought I would have use for it but I kept it on hand anyway. Now I'm glad I did."
Esplin 9466 Primary
Arashi sighed under his breath after the explanation was finished. "You get poisoned by another Anthromorph and then you take an anti-venom that wasn't made specifically for that poison?" He reached in to his briefcase and pulled out a small vial with a frozen liquid at the bottom. He put the vial on a battery powered hot plate so the liquid would melt. Inside the vial was phoenix tears, shed by him while in his full phoenix form. When shed in his full transformation Arashi's tears had enough healing power to heal most people from the brink of death, however they lose most of there power after about ten minutes, so he freezes it to preserve it. "You're very lucky that I have this, otherwise that anti-venom would probably kill you. A lot of people don't know this but if you use an Anti-venom not made for the poison you're infected with it could be even worse leaving it alone." He grabbed two needles from the bottom of the lid of the briefcase and a rubber strap used when giving blood or drawing blood. "As good as I am, the only way I know to treat this is with phoenix tears." In most cases he would avoid telling anybody that what he was using was phoenix tears but, considering Xena could read his mind, he saw no reason to try and keep it a secret. He took one of the needles and filled it with the, now melted, phoenix tears. "Looks like I'm all out. Almost one million dollars in one needle, I hope this girl is worth it." He set the needle with the tears on the floor and picked up the empty one. "The tears should be able to fight off the poison and the anti-venom, plus heal up the cuts from the dagger. But before I give you the tears, if you will let me, I would like to take some of your blood. If I can get some of this poison that the Anthromorph used, then I might be able to create a correct anti-venom for it. I've never tried creating an anti-venom for anthromorph poison, but if it works you can use it next time you fight her."
Auralady
Xena looked at Arashi and then at the seringe in his hand and the band. She had never really been much of a donating-blood-and-getting-shots type of person before. Even when she was still growing up. But Xena knew she didn't have much of a choice, if any, this time. "If it'll help me defeat Silence then go ahead and take some. Why are you doing this anyway? With that power of yours you could make millions. Why sell to the government?" She didn't like letting him stay in the room with her much longer, let alone have her blood. But if it helped her defeat Silence next time the two met....it was worth it.
