Trinity walked down the busy streets. It was Fall and the setting sun ment the wind was strong and cold. Trinity was the only one wearing a sleeveless shirt. He never needed to sheild himself from the harsh cold winds of winter and fall. The ice and snow of winter instently melted at his touch. The winds of the harsher sesons never bothered him. Ever since he had contracted the virus Trinity found himself immune to the cold. Trinity suddenly stopped by a lampost. He looked up at it and noticed the abnormally large glossy black raven sitting on top of it. His eyes narrowed at it.

The raven stopped prening her wings and refolded them them to her body. She cocked her head at Trinity and watched him with her purple eyes. The raven cawed a bit and it allmost sounded like laughter. The boy was just like her yet he seemed to doubt himself. After all shelooked like a normal raven.....minus the fact she was much bigger then a normal raven. That and ravens weren't really a common sight in a big city like they were in. She did a very unraven-like thing and rolled her eyes. Then she when't back to preening herglossy wings. This boy wasn't about to expose her after all. Why bother with him?

Daichi strolled through the streets with a fist sized chunk of cooked deer meat in his hands and a larger chunk of mean under his arm, and took a bite out of it. Although he had gotten in to the habit of catching his own food with his cheetah form, he still couldn't stomach the idea of eating meat Raw. He looked around and it was obvious that almost everybody was avoiding him, a few knew he was an Anthromorph, while others didn't like that he hat two daggers on his back, but very few people felt comfortable getting close to him. He shoved the last of the meat in his mouth and swallowed.

The raven decited to mess with Trinity a little. Her eyes became a deep purple as she reached out with her mind. When she made contact with Trinity's mind she sent out a mini physic pulse with her own mind. It wasn't enough to knock him off of his feet but still strong enough to grab hisattention. She cawed and flashed her wings at him. Then she whent bck to preening her wings and ignored him like nothing had happened out of the ordinary. She wasn't about to give away that she was really and Anthromorph but messing with peopole's minds was way to much fun. Especially when she was in raven form.

"Ouch." Trinity grabed his head. It had felt like someone had thrown a small stone at the back of his head. He looked up at the raven on the lampost. His eyes narrowed at it, "Nice, That wasn't you at all.", he grinned at the raven. The raven just continued to ignore him. Trinity sighed, "Ok. Want to talk then?" Trinity walked into a near by allway. He leaned up against the wall and waited for the raven to fallow. He had yet to meet anouther Anthromorph but wished that his first meeting wioth anouther like him wouldn't be so painfull. He rubbed the back of his head again.

Silence leaned against the wall looking around. She grinned and laughed to herself. Who would ever suspect a fourteen year old girl could be so dangerous? She held upa hand and examined her nails that allways shone with black pioson. 'Who should I mess with today?', he thought to herself looking around at the unsuspecting people. Everybody was too busy with their own agendas to even take notice of the young girl standing against the wall by herself. 'Man I am so board!', she hought watcing everyone indifferently.

The raven watched Trinity disappear into the allyway. She thought about staying on the lampost for a minute. Then she finally gave in. WEhen the raven landed ontop of a stack of crates she reachwed out with her mind again to make sure it was just her and Trinity. When she was satisfied it was just them a girl soon replaced the raven. THe girl sat on the top crate and smiled down at Trinity, "You're smarter then most. Though..." She laugthed a little, "It took you a little longer then I expected. I'm called Xena."

Daichi began licking his fingers of the deer meat when he felt a strange presence nearby, a gift he gained from spending all of his time as an animal. "What the?" He looked in the direction that it came from only to see a girl leaning against a wall alone. "I guess my mind is playing tricks on me." He was about to continue when he realized something. "Wait. Why is a girl her age standing around by herself." He stared for a few seconds, but decided he was probably going crazy. "I must be going crazy."

Silence felt eyes on her. 'Well it's about time.', she thought before turning and looking at Diachi. 'Male. Unsuspecting. Clearly fell for it....perfect.', Silence grinned. She wved happily at Diachi with a grin on her face, "Hey!" She ran over to him with the energy of any fourteen year old girl, "I'm Silence. Who are you?" When Silence neared Diachi her animal instincts whent off. Being a fox ment she could sense those that were a potential danger. 'Well this should be interesting. My instincts are going off the charts here. I wonder what kind of hunter he turns into.'

Liam was wandering about the woodlands, his spear in hand. He was beginning to prefer to hunt in this form.
"Less blood on me." He finished his thought aloud, prompting several animals to dart away in surprise.
"Ugh. Not gonna eat tonight at this rate." He sat on the trunk of a felled tree and planted his spear into the mossy surface beneath him. He began to rub his temples slowly, trying to focus. He was extremely agitated, having to live in a forest was bad enough, but he could feel the sheer savageness of his bear form creeping into his conciousness even now. As his focus tightened, his ability began to manifest, and he could hear the steps of animals over a mile away and the rustling of leaves in the wind at the far edge of this woodland.

Suddenly, his line of thought was broken. He hit himself in the forehead with his palm out of frustration.
"I've got to get out of here."
He slid down off of the trunk and picked up his spear. He had hand-carved it from a fallen branch and had sharpened it to the point that touching the tip would draw blood. He had even fashioned a grip on it, so that it would be perfectly weighted for throwing.

Liam shook his head, recollecting his thoughts. Checking around him and deciding that there was nothing around (aided by his exceptional hearing), he decided to return to civilization. Pity he didn't know where he was going.

"Oh well, one foot in front of the other and all that." He murmured.

Daichi felt a strong sense of danger however, more out of denial that such a young girl could be evil than anything ells, He acted perfectly normal. "Hi Silence. My name is Daichi." Daichi had barely looked at Silence while talking, instead he was looking around hoping to find something ells that could be the cause of his danger instincts going wild. After finding nothing he returned his gaze to Silence. "So, Silence right? Where are your parents? Somebody your age really shouldn't be wandering these streets alone, it's dangerous."

Only a few miles outside of the town there was a man running through the trees in terror, followed closely by a giant snake which was more than large enough to swallow the an hole. Despite its large size the snake had no trouble keeping up and soon the man was cornered. The man stood with his back to a tree looking the giant snake directly in the eyes and the snake staring back. After a few seconds he tried to run, but the snake's head snapped closed around him. When the man was swallowed he was still alive, much to the snakes discomfort. After a minute or so the mans squirming to get free stopped and he was dead. The snake then transformed in to a human about 15 years old. 'Finally!!' The boy said to himself, but the voice came out sounding more like a snake hissing than any human language.

Helel walked down the street alone. It was raining lightly where he was right then and there, but he neither cared or minded. He walked through the rain past the few people who were out that day, hiding under roof overhangings or umberellas. He didn't see why people sheltered themselves from the rain. He personally liked it. It felt nice against his skin. He supposed they, normal people that was, didn't like it because they were afriad they might get sick, or worse, infected.

He chuckled at this thought. As if the rain could get you infected with that supposedly deadly virus that has killed thousands, changed millions, and made him an outcast no matter where he went. He looked down at his feet as they made splashed in the shallow puddles on the street. He sighed, lifted his head up to the sky, and began singing quietly to himself.

" High and mighty, alone we are kings. Whirlwinds of fire we ride. Providence brought us the crown and the ring. Agents of death do we guide..."

There came a tug at his sleeve. Helel stopped in his spot and looked down at the little girl under her red umbrella looking up at him. He didn't say anything, but rather waited for her to speak.

"Excuse me mister," she said. She couldn't have been more than seven. "But what was that song you were just singing? it sounded pretty."
"Haily! what ar eyou doing over there?"
Helel and Haily looked up at the same time to see an older woman, obviously the mother, come rushing over to the little girl. She grabbed her arm and pulled her away, mumbling under her breath, "You know you're not allowed to talk to strangers... especially strangers who don't have enough sence to get out of the rain..."
Helel watched the two of them go. He sighed once more, turned back to the road and once again, began singing to himself as the rain pelted down on him. He looked up at the sky and saw that the rain clouds were moving to the west. He decided he would go there too.

 • 2 weeks later...
Jason was walking down the street when a singing voice caught his attention. He couldn't tell exactly where it was, not immediately, so he concentrated, and let his heightened senses take over. He turned, and faced West, where rain clouds were beginning to drift off. He must not be the most amicable person, he thought as he set off. For how long he walked, he could not tell. As he journeyed, he tried to figure out what exactly the voice was singing, but no matter how hard he tried, he could not make heads or tails of the song. No matter, he thought dismissively, I'll just ask the singer when I reach him. It wasn't long before he reached the voice; he looked around, and saw that it was a man, with white hair. Jason touched his own vibrant blond hair before stepping up to the man.

"What is that you're singing?" he asked.

It happened that, at the same time Silence and Diachi were having their little rendezvous, a teenager who looked to be about eighteen was making his way down the same street. His pale white hair shone brightly in the light of the day and on his back he carried a large octagonal wooden club that stretched about as long as he was tall that was adorned with several sharpened metal studs, in other words a Japanese Kanabo. He wore a pair of black jeans, held up by a brown leather belt adorned with a swirling silver pattern. He wore no shoes, though he was walking on asphalt, and he wore no shirt, exposing his rather pale skin and a strange, spindly black tattoo on his chest that seemed to be a combination of a cross and a dragon. He may not have been able to sense anything specific about Diachi and Silence, but as he neared them he knew something was up. He approached the pair, his lean but muscular form showing each of his movements within the muscles themselves. He stopped a few feet from the two of them, sniffing the air before remembering he was in his human form at that moment and had no enhanced senses. He quickly resumed trying to look as inconspicuous as he could, simply standing there near the pair of Silence and Diachi.

After he finished Digesting the man he had just finished eating Ryusei Left the forest. "Come my pets." He said in a snake language as the snakes followed him, some wrapping around his limbs, others slithering across the ground behind and beside him. Around each hand was a king cobra. Spiraling around his waist and it's head on Ryusei's shoulder was a 10 foot Boa constructor. And following on the ground was about ten other snakes, some poisonous, some not. Everybody who could see Ryusei coming immediacy ran out of the way to avoid getting bit by the snakes, those who did not see received a hiss from the snakes to warn them. As Daichi was talking with Silence he noticed Ryusei walking down the street with a number of different snakes, he decided that dealing with the snake freak was more important than a lost kid. "Stay here." Daichi told Silence as he left her to talk to Ryusei, when he got within a few feet he was forced to jump back when one of the snakes tried to bite him. "Watch it!" It was then that he realized that Ryusei was only a child, not much older than Silence. "Hey kid. I don't know what you're trying to pull, but you really need to get these snakes out of this city, people are getting scared and if one of these things go rouge then you might have a serious injury on your hand, or worse."

"What's it to you?" Helel asked the stranger who had asked him what he was singing. He looked over his shoulder slightly and immedeatly noticed his light blonde hair. Hmm, he thought, I don't like his hair. "If I was bothering you, sorry, but I meant no harm to your ears. I'm just headed west, stranger, to do... something, and singing a song my grandpa used to sing to me." Helel turned full on to his stranger, continuing to walk backwards as he did. He looked at him in the face and said, "No, you're not bothered by it; how could you beif you approached me? Which means you either know the song or are just curious enough to ask a stranger whos wakling along in the rain about it... neither one seems likely, but give me your answer stranger, and do try to keep up because I don't like stopping unless I have to," Helel said, turning back around and continuing to walk.

Xena was about to answer Trinity when she felt a dark pressence. With a wave of her hand the air shifted and a portal opened up. She headed for the portal with her cape streaming out behind her. She stopped and looked at Trinity. "Comming?" Without waiting for a reply she raced through the portal. She reappeared on the otherside behind Diachi and walked over to the group. Her eyes narrowed at Silence. Due to her physic abilities Xena could see this girl for exactly what she was. "Welll now. Arn't we the sly little fox? But then again that's no surprise. I mean...it IS your transformation right Silence?"

Silence glared at Xena for a moment. But then she shrugged her shoulders and laughed. Her eyes narrowed and the black poison started to drip from her fingernails again. She grinned to show teeth pointed like a fox's. "Physics always ruin the fun. But oh well. I guess we'll just have to skip right to the fun part then." The poison became a black puddle at her feet. A few sharp hand movements and the poison responded by forming into a stream almost likw a whip. This she lashed at the group around her.

Trinity sighed. He ran after Xena right before the portal closed and reamerged just like she did on the other side. He had react fast in order to dodge Silence's poison whip and jumped out of the way. All around the group people were starting to scream and run in a panic. Police started to pull up and her could hear helicopters in the distence. 'Fabulous. Just great. An audience with it's full attention on us.', he cursed silently.

Jason grinned inwardly at the man's harsh exterior. "If you want the truth," he said, easily keeping stride with the man, even though he was taller and older, "I was mostly curious about the song. But...it sounded familiar, as if I've heard it, no...as if I've sung it before. It's not something I can explain easily, but that's my reasoning. It's as if there's something nagging at the back of my mind, just trying to tell me where I've heard the song before, and possibly unlock some memory or something, but I can't recall it." Jerome looked at the man again. The man looked drastically different than Jerome. He had dark hair, and wore a pristine suit. The look on his face wasn't the most friendly, but...he had to try. "My name's Jerome, by the way."

"So you approached me ona hunch that you thought you might have herad, or rather sung, that song before? Really?" Helel chuckeled to himself. Well, I'll give him this much, he thought. He is whimsical... I like that in a person. "Jerome, was it?" Helel asked. "They call me Helel, as do I. You can call me that too if you like, but please, not silly nicknames, I despise nicknames." Helel looked up at the rain clouds still headed towards the west. By now they were reaching the edge of town and headed towards the woods. If this Jerome was to accompany him, he had to trust him. Helel decided to test him.
"Before we go on, I should tell you that I'm an Anthromorph, so should that bother you speak now. Because like I said, I'm not stopping until I get to the west."

Jerome grinned at Helel. "You think you despise nicknames?" Without an explanation, he looked over and towards the woods. Just what I need, my natural habitat, he thought darkly. "And so what if I approach you on a hunch? I trust my instincts way more than this thing people call a brain. And my instincts haven't been proved wrong yet. Well, okay, maybe just a few times, but that's besides the point." His eyes darkened as he thought about Helel's last comment. Another anthromorph? How interesting. Well, might as well come out and be honest. Jerome chuckled. "I have absolutely no problem with anthromorphs. If I did, that would be kind of bad for me, considering I'm one too, don't you think?"

Helel didn't turn his head back to Jerome, but his eyes did click as far over as they could get. He's an anthromorph too? That was unexpected... but then again... . "I suppose it would be," Helel said. Switching the conversation, Helel said, "I think that the brain should take full front on most everything. In fact, the only time you should use your instincts is whe it's absolutely necessary. For example, when you're being chased by a group of Anthromorph haters with guns. Then its best to use your instincts rather than your brain."
How do I know if he's lying or not? If he is an anthromorph, I need to find out exactly what he is and who he fight s for. But what if he's not an anthromorph? What if he's an agent? No matter, if he's an agent killing him will be simple enough really. But if he is an anthromorph, perhaps there's a way I can use him...
Changing the subject again, Helel said, "What is your view on justice, Jerome?"

When he heard the screaming Daichi turned his back on Ryusei and the snakes, just in time to dodge one of the attacks from the poison. "What the hell....." He was about try and stop Silence, but before he could do anything he felt a sharp pain surge through his back. Daichi let out a loud grunt of pain, it didn't take long to realize that he had been bitten in the back by a one of Ryusei's snakes. "You little..." Daichi began to say as he turned back around only to see a large snake. "big.... big snake." He jumped to the side as Ryusei attacked with a set of fangs that where as big as his arm. When he got up he noticed as the cops started pulling up around them. "Stupid cops. What the hell are they thinking."

Vincent decided that it was time to get involved, especially after hearing the sirens in the distance. He pulled the massive war club off of his back and found the nearest target, which just happened to be trinity. He spun about in a rapid circle, gripping the handle of the weapon with both hands as he swung it with all his might towards his chosen target's back. If the strike were to land, Trinity would have both the immense force of a roughly eighty-pound club slamming him in the back as well as puncture wounds from the hundreds of sharpened metal studs on the wooden surface. Regardless of whether he struck home or not, he then slammed a fist into the ground, quickly bringing up a wall of stone at either end of the street to prevent the police access to the area for a short while.

Zasuka walked innocently along a path, black hair streaming behind her, almost like a cape. A sheath hung at her belt, and the golden hilt of a sword gleamed in the dim light. Walking past a bush, she stopped, and cocked her head to one side. After a moment, she shook her head. "Come out! I know you're there!" She called teasingly. A string of swearwords were uttered, and a man in black walked from behind the bush. "Come with me, or suffer the conse......"
"Puh-leaze! We don't have to do this, you know. If you just leave and say I kicked your @$$, I don't really have to do it."
"Don't kid me Anthromorph! I'm one of the best agents the goverment has, and you're coming with me!" The man replied menacingly, drawing a gun.
"Crap! A gun!" Zasuka thought grimly. " My worst god damn enemy......"
"Hurry up! When I count to 5, you're history. 1..........2..........3............4........."
"5" Zasuka muttered, dissapearing a ruby flame. The man edged foward, glancing around, unaware Zasuka was behind him. Silently, she transformed, and a large, 2 tailed fox stood behind him. Flames swirled around her feet. Quickly, she spun around and kiced the man, sending him flying into the bush he had sprung from, his gun falling into a nearby river.
"I told you it'd be better for you to leave immeaditely." Zasuka told the man. She transformed back into a human, and walked away.

"My view on justice?" Jerome asked. "Well, that was unexpected. I don't know...justice is kind of a hard topic. I guess that it really depends on what you do. If you do something horrible, you should be dealt with accordingly. But I don't think anyone needs to be killed without perfect reasoning." Jerome looked over at Helel as they walked. "I could hear your voice shift, you know?" Turning to face forward, he wondered what Helel was worried. "And, personally, I don't care for thinking, usually. It takes too long, and, as I said, my instincts have never led me astray before. Want to see my animal form?" he said suddenly.

Zasuka decided to leave the path she was walking on. After being confronted by a couple of goverment agents the innocent place now seemed midly threatening, and Zasuka didn't like it. Amost as much as she hated the fact she only had half a memory. "No." She shook her head. "There is nothing I hate more than that." Turning towards the sky, she sent a tiny ember of flame upwards. It stopped and spun, then finally stopped in the shape of a tiny arrow, facing West. "Sure." Zasuka muttered, diminishing the flames. "West it is."

Walking for a short while, she noticed rainclouds. "And where rainclouds are is rain." She whispered, as a drop of water landed on her shoulder, followed by more. Glancing left and right, she checked nobody was around, and transformed to her 2 tail fire fox form. She leapt upwards, and flew, concealed amongst the leaves. Noting her flames where making her visible, she diminished tham, and continued, until she reached a city. Jumping down lightly, she transformed back into a human, and walked into the busy-ish streets. " Those goverment agents won't find me amongst this crowd." She thought, her black hair blowing into her face due to a cool breeze. " And if they did, I know they wouldn't dare attack me in such a public place."

Trinity got in front of Diachi and faced Kyusei. Now he was in the form of a great black dragon with blazing gold eyes. "Help Xena take care of silence. I'll handle this.", he told Diachi lashing his tail. "No wonder those snakes fallowed you. A Basilisk is the king of all snakes. And I thought I was the only Anthromorph who could turn into a mythical creature." HE flared his wings and roared at the Basilisk. This caused a ring of flames to encircle them.

Xena reacted instinctibly and held up her hand. The air twisted and the black poision bounced off of a bearly visable shield. "Nice try SIlence but you'll have to be better." The poision melted a car in half when it came into contact with it. 'Man that high acidity is going to be a real problem. As long as none of us touch it though it shouldn't be a problem.'Xena sent out a telekenetic pulse out towards Silence.

"I'll show you better!", Silence grinned. In an nstenet the poison whip started toswirl and grow. Soon there was a eight foot poison twisterr that broke Xena's teleknetic pulse. The pulse died and , with a couple of flicks of her wrist, several little black poison daggers flew from the the twister at Xena. Two pierced Xena's skin and pinned her to the wall of a biulding. "How's that for better!?"

Xena felt Silence's poison taking it's tol on her rightr waway. 'Hell this stuff is strong. Gotta fight it though!' Xena stopped dtruggling to free herself from the wall. Instead she focused all of her physic powers into the center of her body. She'd never have to do this before and she knew it was a risky move. IF she didn't controll the huge anount of physic power when she released it it could harm anyone within a four mile radius of her. Needless to say it was a move still on the developing stage. The compressed energy created a small pressurized ball. All at once she released the compressed energy ball which created a massive visiable shockwave of energy strong enough to do somed real damage to a small city. Luckily the city they were in was fairly large so it only hit a few blocks at the most.

As the fire surrounded Ryusei all but the larger of his pet snakes where killed by the fire. "Don't think this means anything" Ryusei hissed. "I specialize in close combat." Although because he was a snake, everything he said came out sounding like a snake hissing wildly. He let out a large hiss hiss, revealing a large pair of fangs, not that he ever needed them. "Attack!" He ordered the remaining snakes, the lathe anaconda's raped around Trinity's legs, and the smaller snakes attacked with there poisons fangs, but with there small size most of them couldn't even break Trinity's thick dragon hide and none of them had enough poison to give the dragon any more than a head cold.

"Yeah, you act tough, but you I'm not stupid. You just don't wanna fight a girl." Daichi yelled as the flame circled Trinity and Ryusei. Soon afterwords he felt a surge of pain through his shoulder from where he had been bitten. "Damn." After a few seconds the pain lessened and he was able to move again, but he feared what the poison would do if he didn't do something, but he decided that would have to wait. "I don't like hitting girls, but that doesn't mean I can't help in a fight." He slammed his palms together and was about to use his shadow, but was caught off guard by the shock wave and was thrown in to a building. "I don't know if i should call her insane or brilliant." He thought as he looked at some of the rubble from the blast. "One thing's for sure, the cops wont like this one bit."

"Your view of justice is rather vague and narrow... I'll get back to you on that one." Helel looked at Jerome as he offered to show him his animal form with a look of dull surprise on his face. Is he really serious? he thought to himself. There's no way a real Anthromorph would be so willing to show off their animalistic side... unless of course he's new... but the odds of that are extremely high...
"Fine," Helel said, turning back to the front. "I assume you'll want to see mine as well. This isn't a problem, in fact it's preferable. But perhaps we should get a bit deeper into the woods before we show one another?" Helel looked up at the clouds headed towards the west. It'll be hard to find my way back westward once we diverge from the trail....
"Follow me," he said, suddenly cutting north off of the path he had originally taken.
