!Supra¡
Utagawa had a serious headache about who to include as the last person for the important mission that also serves as the field exam for the four apprentice samurai who are chosen. "Ugh.... Who to choose? Who to choose? Damn it!" Utagawa yelled out of frustration. The previous night Utagaw had been tricked into drinking a strong sake. Even though he had only drink three cups, the sake was able to get him extremely drunk. Now with his hangover, Utagawa must decide on the last member of the four man group. Utagawa stood up with force, causing his table to rumble and a document to fall down. "Aww great...." Utagawa went over and picked up the file. Upon seeing the file, Utagawa's stern facial expression turned to utter surprise. "Him huh?.... The Boy with No Talent.... Alright, guess it'll have to work...." Utagawa said as he placed the document back onto the table. "(For my sake.... I hope I'm right about choosing Ryunosuke as the last member....)" -Elsewhere- After awhile of reviewing basic kibaku information, the bells were rung again to signify the end of the class and for the students to proceed to the D Block for their field examination. "Alright my beloved students~<3! I wish you only the best of luck on your field exam~<3! Now go out there and make your Sensei proud~<3!" Asutomu cheered the apprentice samurai with overflowing glee. Ryunosuke stood up from his seat and looked towards the door. Confidence and determination were brightly shown in his eyes. "(Alright Ryunosuke, now it's your time to soar!)" Before Ryunosuke could exit however, a Samurai Bōkkōn entered into the classroom. "I bare an order directly from Chief Samurai Teacher Takashi Utagawa." the messanger stated to the entire classroom in attendance. "Oh my, from Utagawa himself? I guess yesterday he didn't losen up enough, even when we gave him the super strong sake...." Asutomu muttered to himself. "Chief Utagawa requests that Suzume Rokuko-Minako, Isamu, Taiki Suguru, and Ryunosuke Hasegawa report to his office immediately in Block A. That is all...." the messanger reported then walking off. Ryunosuke stood there, confused and a bit annoyed. "(What the?! Right when it's time for the big field exam?! Ahh damn it!)" Ryunosuke thought to himself, but had no say in the matter. All of the other apprentice samurai still left in the room glared at the four with curiosity. They even began to whisper amongst each other in an attempt to guess the situation. "Well, that's quite the change in plans isn't it? Well you four better report to Chief Utagawa's office and fast. Unlike yours truly, Utagawa isn't a person with much patience.... (Especially not after last night....)" Ryunosuke then head to Utagawa's office, along with the others.

Isamu entered the A block and started towards the chief samurai's office "But why send Ryunosuke with us, he may have potential, but he is far from mastering his skill, but maybe it will give him a jump on his training." Isamu shook his head and focused himself "I can't let my mind wonder not before a mission." he continued walking reaching the door to chief samurai Utagawa's office waiting only a moment before entering and bowing low showing his respect for Utagawa
~ Dākunaitomon ~
"Oh man I hope I'm not in trouble...Oh well happy thoughts XD" 5 Minutes Later "Let's see Let's see...Block A...why would the Chief need me Isamu, Minako, and Ryunosuke?" Seeing Isamu bow before the Chief Taiki did so as well. Hydra of Ages
Minako's head popped up when she heard the announcement. She'd been lost in battle plans, worries about the exam and mental revision, and almost didn't catch the announcement, but she was no less confused when she did finally understand it. The Head Samurai wanting to see me and Isamu might make a bit of sense... she thought to herself, After all, we're the most experienced apprentices... But the Boy With No Talent? And I'm not entirely sure who Taiki is, but I doubt he's a member of Konken House... She walked over to the Head Samurai's office in the A-Block, walking past the main temple and the monks attending to the various gardens around it. She paid brief tribute to the Kami Statues, and came on the office just as she noticed Isamu enter. She followed a few steps later, as an apprentice she vaguely recognized pushed in front of her into the office. She entered herself, with a traditional bow. !Supra¡
Ryunosuke was the only person to enter without bowing. However, he gave a rather inproper greeting. "Yo Utagawa Sensei! What's going on, and why did you call us here at this time? We need to report to Block D for the field exam! The field exam only comes twice a year and I failed it the first time, I don't wanna fail it this time too!" Ryunosuke complained. Upon hearing Ryunosuke, a vein popped up on Utagawa's forehead showing that he was angered. Although Utagawa kept his anger hidden. "Well.... It's always an event to hear you Ryunosuke...." Utagawa responded. "Umm, so what's the big deal anyways?" Ryunosuke asked. "Well if you would stop talking then I can explain...." Utagawa responded. With his anger subsided and after clearing his throat, Utagawa began to explain the situation. "Well.... The reason I have taken you four out of the scheduled field exams is to give you another, special field exam prepared directly by me." Utagawa explained. "Directly by you?.... Umm, so what's this special exam about?" Ryunosuke asked interruptingly. "Would you stop interrupting me Ryunosuke? Anyways.... This exam is a little bit last minute and this exam also doubles as a mission. This exam/mission is directly asked to be completed by Kagami Sensei. You four were chosen due to your abilities and results from past exams." "Whoa! Really?! I was chosen because of my abilities! Heh, I guess I'm pretty top-knotch to be chosen for this huh hehe!" Ryunosuke was very estatic to learned that the participants in this special exam were chosen due to their abilities and past exams' results. "Actually Ryunosuke.... Your abilities and exams' results are the worse of the entire apprentice samurai calss." Upon hearing those words coming from Utagawa's mouth, Ryunosuke shrunked into a dark corner and began sulking. "Then why did you chose me?...." Ryunosuke asked depressingly. "That's easy, your abilities are special in that they don't conflict with the abilities of Minako, Isamu, or Taiki.... Through my selections, I picked you for that one reason that you won't be able to get in the way during a serious fight.... The others can battle with the entirety of their abilities while you won't have an affect on their combat. I've chose you three," Utagawa said as he pointed to Minako, Isamu, and Taiki. "because of your abilities. Minako, your the top student when it comes to long range and kibaku-based combat. Isamu, your abilities are useful at close range proximity. And finally, Taiki, your speed is unmatched by any of the other apprentice samurai plus you have a special skill that not even I have. Hopefully you understand what I mean. The only person here without special capabilities except for not being able to interfere with the others, also being able to provide close range assistance is you Ryunosuke." Utagawa explained. "In any case, your mission will be to pick up and escort our local tsumimono researcher, Ao Shimizu, in Block-I to three sites, the Great Bamboo Forest, Dusk Forest, and finally Kinakusa Valley. You are there to protect him and assist him with his research understand? Although this may seem dangerous, the local tsumimono there are quite harmless and are considered nothing more than pests like mice or rats, so you'll actually be rather safe. I know that some of you were looking forward to engaging in combat, but this mission is more important especially in the long run. Besides, complete this mission and you'll recieve full examination points. Plus, you might get lucky and move up a rank hmm Ryunosuke?" Upon hearing that, Ryunosuke jumped up from his sulking position and energetically rushed towards Utagawa's table. "Really?! Ranking up?! Sweet! I'm gonna become a full-fledge samurai! Whoohoo!" Ryunosuke punched his fist into the air out of excitement. "Ryunosuke, one word of advice.... You really need to study more.... If you had pay any attention in your classes you would've known that after Apprentice Samurai is Minor Samurai. You won't become an actual Samurai until after ranking up from Minor Samurai." Utagawa explained. Ryunosuke once again can be found sulking in the corner. "Anyways, who has any questions before I continue?" Utagawa asked. Lord of Chaos
Isamu was disappointed there would be no real challenges along the way, but it wasn't expected to be a big mission since Ryunosuke was coming along. Isamu could see Ryunosuke had potential, but he wouldn't be ready for a big mission with real tsumimono. Isamu looked at Utagawa "What exactly is Ao Shimizu going to be looking at?" Isamu wondered this wanting to know why he would need more than just one escort in areas that had little or no powerful tsumimono, but it might not be the tsumimono that might be dangerous, but what they are looking for. Isamu would need all of his skill for this mission with out a doubt if the tsumimono weren't the problem what they were looking for hast to be
!Supra¡
Upon hearing Isamu's question, Utagawa couldn't help but give a devious chuckle. Utagawa then reformed his composture and cleared his throat once again. "Well Isamu, I can see your curiosity is already getting the head start. Anyways, I wouldn't be selecting Minako and you for a mission that doesn't seem to be dealing with any potential threats, but believe me when I tell you that what you'll be doing is rather.... well let's jsut say rather tiring.... Believe me, by the time you four are finished with this mission, you are all going to want to go straight to bed.... However, I don't want to reveal the full details of what you're going to be assisting with. I'll let Ao tell you himself. Oh by the way, Ao would be rather happy to see you two, Minako and Isamu. For awhile now he's been wanting to meet his idols so I'm sure you're going to have a great time with him, hehe...." Utagawa explained.
Lord of Chaos
Isamu smiled "It is always good to know what your dealing with." he said in his regular calm voice, when Utagawa mentioned Isamu as an idol Isamu got a confused look on his face "Idols.... surely you are just bragging on us." at least Isamu hoped so, he never liked being held higher than what he should, it annoyed him to be thought highly of even if his skills and abilities are as good as they are. Isamu's expression returned to his normal calm and quiet look, but there was a small cloud of agony lingering in his eyes, Isamu knew the mission would be exhausting, but most are, and now that there was some promise of a challenge it made it easier, but the thought of someone drooling over him like a fan boy would not make the mission easy
~ Dākunaitomon ~
Seeing how Ryunosuke was sulking Taiki decided to comfort him. "Hey man It's OK you are as strong as you can be...Utagawa Sensei yes I have a few questions...*ahem why would you call the boy with no talent on this special mission yet saying that he can do nothing at all? I have to say that is disrespecting Ryunosuke. I don't like when my friends are disrespected." after saying that Taiki's mile long smile then disappeared and a cold stare of blank anger was pointed toward the Utagawa Sensei. "Also Sensei you are very wrong EVERY SINGLE TSUMIMONO IS EVIL AND MUST BE KILLED. no matter their size or strength Tsumimono are not to be taken lightly. That is all." !Supra¡
"Isamu, you can rest assured. Ao may see you as an idol along with Minako but you won't get any trouble from him except for when he wants an autograph. That Ao is more into his job as a researcher than with samurai." Utagawa responded calmly. "I already expalined why it is needed to have Ryunosuke on this team.... Besides the fact that he won't be able to interfere with the abilities of you plus Minako and Isamu, he is also there to assist Ao, and trust me when I say that you'll be needing all the hlp I assign to this team." Utagawa then noticed the anger radiating off from Taiki. However, Utagawa did not became angry due to the fact that he knows of Taiki's history. "Yes, I understand that the tsumimono are evil but all I'm saying is that these tsumimono that you may encounter won't pose a threat against you, understand Taiki? Now control your emotions...." Utagawa explained with a calm stare. "Ryunosuke, so are you willing to go through with this mission? If not then I'll just leave you to go with the normal exam, and you'll probably fail...." Utagawa said with a smile. "I...." Ryunosuke muttered. "Of course I'm going through with this mission! I can't wait to prove you wrong Utagawa Sensei!" Ryunosuke said confidently. A confident smile formed on Utagawa's face. "hmm, very well then Ryunosuke, prove me wrong." Utagawa answered calmly.
Hydra of Ages
As Minako listened, her curiosity was sparked. A special examination? Very exciting. Having to deal with a team beyond herself and Isamu was a bit of a downer, but she supposed that between the two of them they could cope. She blinked and resisted a blush at the idea of her being an 'idol'- she hadn't realized she that visible to the other students, except maybe some of the younger Konken girls that looked up to her. She didn't have quite the reservations she detected from Isamu, but still predicted their meeting to be quite awkward. Still, something didn't quite click for her. Her training as a noble instantly kicked in. "Sensei Utagawa, forgive me for interrupting, but... isn't this a bit unusual?" she said hesitantly. "You mentioned it was requested by Kagami Sensei quite suddenly... Even though you've mentioned it's not comparatively very dangerous, I get the impression this mission is a bit more important than any Isamu or I have ever been on." !Supra¡
"Very perceptive Minako...." Utagawa dryly complimented. "You are correct in thinking that.... I didn't want to worry the four of you, but I guess I'll just have to say it. Besides, maybe giving you four a bit more information might help. Three days ago, Kagami Sensei and Asutomu Sensei were out in those three areas doing their daily routine elimination of the tsumimono population to prevent the building up of sin energy. As you may know, sin energy and virtue energy tend to eliminate each other out on contact. Usually, the amount of virtue energy and sin energy are kept in balance regularly by nature, but sometimes it's also needed for us samurai to reduce the harmful effects on nature by eliminating some sin energy taking form, of course, as tsumimono and flowing freely in the atmosphere. The sin energy flowing freely in our atmosphere is of course created from humans commiting sins, but it is also created when a tsumimono is killed. Now, the tsumimono is created by Gosei, the synthesizing of sin energy. Now you may think that it's pretty easy due to all of that free flowing sin energy but luckily for us, the tsumimono must need a large amount to perform Gosei, but it's possible overtime to just collect the free flowing particles instead of collecting the bundled sin energy particles when it's newly created by humans commiting sins. Usually, these bundles will dispersed outwards in a couple of hours. That is where the Kihachi or Spirit Pot comes in. The kihachi is used for the elimination of free flowing sin energy in our atmosphere." Utagawa explained. "So what's the problem anyways?" Ryunosuke asked. "I was just getting to that.... The problem is that during Kagami and Asutomu Sensei's daily elimination routine, they discovered that it took a bit more virtue energy than usual to destroy the free flowing sin energy and the tsumimono. That's why we need you four to help in the collection of these weaker and less harmful tsumimono for study. That's why I said this mission will be very useful especially in the long run. Now I'm depending on you four to complete this mission, got it?" Utagawa asked with authority. "Got it!" Ryunosuke responded, now determined more than ever to successfully complete this mission. "Now, I'm assigning the position of leader to you, Minako and the position of co-leader to Isamu. You two are responsible for this group so make sure you four return safely and hopefully, successfully complete the mission."
~ Dākunaitomon ~
"Heh no pressure Minako or you Isamu." Taiki being the gentleman he was decided to Introduce him self to the apparently "Gifted" Suzume Rokuko-Minako. "Hello Minako due to the fact that you are leading or little "Mystery Gang" here I believe we should be acquaintances mostly business oriented. Anyway's My full name is Taiki Suguru. !Supra¡
"No need to bring your kihachi for this mission. Kagami Sensei has taken the opportunity to develop a more advance version of the kihachi for use of storing the tsumimono that has been caught. The thing about this newly developed kihachi is you only need one, though in terms of size, this kihachi is the equivalent of an elephant while the normal kihachi is the equivalent of a dog. Ryunosuke, I'm assigning you with the extra job of carrying this new kihachi, understand." Upon hearing this, Ryunosuke placed his fist towards Utagawa. "You can count on me Sensei!" Ryunosuke responded. Ryunosuke then appeared next to Taiki and whispered into his ear. "Yo Taiki.... Who is this girl anyways? You said her name was Minako right? Is she someone strong? I mean I know she has high grades and everything, but I don't particularly get what's the big deal about her anyways?" Ryunosuke asked curiosly. Why don't you ask her Ryunosuke? I'm sure she would be happy to answer. Although that's not the least of your concerns I mean you are about to carry an Elephant sized Kihachi! that's a REALLL bummer man." !Supra¡
"Umm.... I don't think Utagawa Sensei actually means it will be the size of an elephant, or at least I don't think so.... right?...." Ryunosuke began to daydream about the new kihachi that he's been entrusted to carry around. In the daydreaming cloud, Ryunosuke can be seen struggling to walk with an actual elephant-sized kihachi. Due to this daydream, a sweatdrop appeared on his forehead. Snapping back to reality, Ryunosuke turned to look at Minako then back at Taiki. "Hmm.... She doesn't look like a very sociable person.... but I guess I could try to talk to her later." Ryunosuke whispered. "By the way, if the kihachi is actually elephant size, you wouldn't mind helping me carrying it would ya?" Ryunosuke asked nervously.
Lord of Chaos
Isamu wanted to hit himself in the face he was glad that he was going on a mission and that he would be co-leading it, but to be one of two of the smarter people there was already driving him mad, but he did not let it show at least not for now. Isamu wanted to chuckle as Utagawa mentioned Ryunoskue carrying the large Kihachi, but he held his tongue and said nothing Isamu chose to be silent for now his questions had been answered and he was somewhat satisfied with the answers. Isamu thought over the mission objective and why this mission was put into motion "Stronger sin energy means stronger tsumimono, but how could the sin energy grow to such amounts that more virtue energy is required, this is strange something dark is not right about it, but I shouldn't trouble myself with this, I should focus on the mission at hand." Isamu thought as he stood silently waiting to be dismissed
!Supra¡
Utagawa closed his eyes and then cleared his throat. He opened his eyes again and looked at the four of them with a serious gaze. "Now, I'm counting on the four of you to complete this mission. But you shouldn't be too worry about the increase in the amounts of sin energy particles. Kagami Sensei and a group of highly skilled researcher are already beginning their study into this. You four are also key parts to the success of this study. By bringer back tsumimono, Kagami and his team will have a chance to carefully study the various questions we are now puzzled with. Now, your first must go pick up Ao from the Research Department Cell A-5 in Block-I. Next you will proceed to the Kami Gate to pick up the kihachi. The rest of the mission as you know will be carried out in the Great Bamboo Forest, Dusk Forest, and Kinakusa Valley. Now are the any last minute questions before you start your mission?" ((If there are no further questions)) "Very well, all of you looked prime and ready. So go ahead and proceed with the mission. Good luck and be safe." Utagawa confidently said with a smile to boost morale. "Alright! Let's go pick up this Ao!" Ryunosuke yelled out excitingly as the mission officially began. Ryunosuke asked the others as they arrived at the Research Department in Block-I. "Oh by the way, does anybody remember which cell is this Ao guy located at anyways? Was it A-3 or something?.... Ah damn it! I can't remember!" Ryunosuke said frustratingly as he wildly ran his hands through his head, slightly messing up the top of his hair. "Yo, so any of you guys know remember the location? I'm ready to get this show on the road already! After picking up this Ao guy we need to go to the Kami Gate and pick up the new kihachi." Ryunosuke said impatiently. -Elsewhere- Utagawa sat in his office, looking through some paperwork. "Hmm.... So we have a new student from Ishikawa Temple huh?...." Suddenly, a voice was heard from behind the sliding door. "Hey Takashi I need to talk to you." the voice said. "Come in." Utagawa answered. The sliding door was opened to reveal the Obstacle Course Instructor, Shin Asatsuyu. Shin is a Samurai Bōkkōn and not an actual Samurai Teacher, however, he teaches field skills over at the Obstacle Courses. Shin was a rather unusual person in terms of clothing. He didn't wear a samurai kimono but rather just an olive green, long-sleeved shirt with half of a samurai breastplate, black trousers, and tabi socks with geta shoes. He had short messy black hair and a scar across his nose. Shin is a rather popular teacher amongst students as he would usually take students to restaurants when they did a good job, and personality-wise, Shin was a bit of a joker. "Oh Shin it's you.... By the way it's Chief Samurai Teacher Utagawa to you, not Takashi, got it? Now what do you need?" Utagawa asked calmly. "Ahh don't be so formal with me now, you know I'm not good at that sorta thing. Oh anyways, you heard about the transfer student from Ishikawa right?" Shin asked. "Yes, in fact I'm reading the transfer documents now." Utagawa answered. "Well the new student has arrived." "Well bring him in." Utagawa responded.
Lord of Chaos
Isamu smiled "Close. The location is cell A-5 block-I." Isamu said continuing to walk past Ryunosuke towards cell A-5, slightly whistling as he did, Isamu seemed overly calm now that they where here about to pick up Ao, but it was the Isamu was, he had trained so that every step was pushing him towards new power, and that every obstacle must be over come no matter what it may be, even if it is just an autograph for someone who Isamu had never met. Ryunosuke then proceeded to open the door to Cell A-5. Upon opening the door, Taiki went in and began calling for Ao. "Man, it's dark in here. Doesn't this guy keep a candle or anything? Yo Ao! Hey we're the group that's helping with your research! Hello! Anyone?!" Taking a few steps in, suddenly, the cell room lit up brightly. "What the?! This room lit up all of a sudden by itself! The hell is going on in this freaky place?!" Ryunosuke asked out of confusion. Ryunosuke then looked up at the ceiling to see five large lamps kept burning by omionous purple flames. Though the flames are purple, the room appeared as if any normal lit room. "Yo! Ao! Hurry up and show yourself we don't have all day ya know!" Ryunosuke yelled. "*Muffled noises*" Upon hearing some noises, Ryunosuke looked to the others. "Hey you guys ya here that? Someone's making noises. Yo Ao! Is that you?!" Ryunosuke yelled out hoping to get a response. A large mountain of books began to move, especially at the bottom parts of the mountain of books. Suddenly, a head popped out from the mountain of books. "Help! Over here! Please get me outta here!" a young boy of about thirteen years old in looks yelled with a high-pitch, nerdy voice. The boy had messy, short brown hair and he has glasses on his face though they are crooked. "I-I'm Ao! I'm stuck under these books! Ouch, my arm really hurts right now! Please help!" Ao yelled hoping to signal the attention of the group. "You guys hear that! This Ao guy is calling for help!" Ryunosuke said.
Lexsuncion
"Imagine the leaves, flowing in the wind--how they dance and twist gracefully. Your Virtue Energy is like that. It must dance an twist..." Yosho attempted to recall what he was told about controlling spiritual energy by one of the senior members. The explanation was a bit too cryptic, though. Even with five years of training, he remained a miraculous blunder.... --Currently, Yosho was off to see a new instructor. The recent adoption by the Kurotsuki Family not only changed his way of life again, but this time it changed his classes and training. He also suspected that his old instructor was fed up with his lack of progress and just wanted to get rid of Yosho. That wasn't so bad, though. It was important to get a new, fresh viewpoint now and then. Maybe, with what his former instructor had told him and the new Asutomu Sensei's teachings, Yosho would have a breakthrough! --If he got good enough, then he'd be able to go on missions with everyone else and help other people! He could just feel himself welling up with joy at the thought of being given the opportunity to make a difference. He recalled that he delivered a package once, as an assignment. It felt amazing to be working for a good cause, and be aware of that, instead of simply helping here and there. however...he did remember he was scolded for stopping more than once or twice (or a few times...) along the way to help other people carry some things, or do some cleaning, or other personal favors. --This time, though, Yosho was determined to prove just how good he could be! Asutomu Sensei would be able to help him control energy, and then he'd be able to actually do something with the one Spiritual Technique he knew. Right now, his ability to make things stronger...didn't work. Or rather, it did work, but to such a little effect that it might as well do nothing anyway. His former teacher had been trying to teach him to put energy into his attacks as well, with little success. But a tiny bit of success was better than no Success at all! --Asutomu Sensei was waiting just ahead in the courtyard. Certainly, he would be a strong, old, samurai grandmaster waiting to confer the secrets of virtue unto Yosho, as he needed special attention. Everyone always spoke of potential, but he couldn't feel any of it. For now, he could see just ahead his teacher. Odd, though...he sort of expected to be placed into a class with others...not a private lesson....
!Supra¡
((Oh yeah, don't use Spiritual energy or spirtual techniques either.... )) Asutomu took a bite of a perfectly red apple as he awaited for the arrival of a new student assigned to him. "Hmm, that must be my new student." Asutomu said as he saw Yosho walking towards the meeting place. Unlike what Yosho had imagined Asutomu to be, Asutomu was a rather young, about 28, and flamboyant individual. His medium-length brown hair was flowing in perfect harmony with the wind. Asutomu had switched his earlier kimono to a totally brand new one. This time he wore an olive green kimono with patterns of sakura blossoms along with one distinguished sakura tree branch picture on the kimono. Asutomu walked over to Yosho with his famous smile that could light up the darkest nights. "Hello there you must my new student am I correct? Allow me to introduce myself...." After clearing his throat, Asutomu reached into his left kimono sleeve and took out a bunch of sakura petals. Asutomu then proceeded with throwing in them into the air and let the wind carried the petals away as well as making Asutomu appeared with a magnificent flare. "I am the magnificent, the splendid, the devilishly handsome kibaku teacher, Yurin Asutomu~<3!" Asutomu then regained his posture and looked at Yosho. "Now, may you give me a proper introduction my dear student."
