I play Magic: the Gathering for the most part now.

I shall compete in the Norwegian championships in 2011. My weapon of choice? A mono-black control deck that ultimately renders opponents completely unable to play. (In extension, by forcing them to continuously discard every card they draw for the rest of the game.)

Black is Magic's color of ambition, darkness, death, amorality and power at any cost.[/b]

Well isn't that just a cheery statement? JK! I don't play magic but I have been meaning to learn how to play.

MTG involves much more strategy, flavour, math, theory and logic than YGO ever has accomplished.

I absolutely recommend it. I myself have stopped playing YGO nearly completely, though I am still rather good at making decks for it.

I do believe that many card-game-selling hobby stores are giving away a free first deck to new Magic players. It's a long-sighted investment for the store, as they will earn more money should you start playing, and believe me, you don't get a vastly interesting collection from the deck, but it is a basic deck of each of MTG's five colours that you choose from and they feature the basic qualities of each colour. All you need to do is being registered, I think.

BTW, I love how, originally, none of the decks I played were ever featured in the anime: Core Chimail, Batterymen, Aliens... Then I played Fortune Ladies, which is Dark Signer Carly's deck. It's fun, and can also be competitive, but I'm still missing a few cards.

Or GB's, Worms or even a Solar Flare Dragon. And also how only 1 person has a Dark Bribe.

@Ursus: Really? I got a few cards, I don't like it that much. But perhaps it changed while I didn't follow it.

I just learned the basic rules of MTG and I am very interested. Is there a CP game for MTG?

Yes, you have Magic: the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers, which you are able to get easily on Steam, if you use it.

It's a game that's easy to understand, and you can solve puzzles, unlock cards and learn the game with ease.

Is a disc game or a download, and do you duel on it or no?

With Steam, you go to Store and search it up. (This is a download) You can duel online, or against friends with the same game, though sadly, you can only add and remove cards that you unlock for the respective decks.

It is possible that you can find a disk for the XBox game of it.

Alright thanks.

is Grepolis part of MTG?

Np.

My choice will depend on my bro's choice, as I kinda live in the middle of nowhere (and me being a 17-years old, trying to trade with a primary school kid would looks trange) he's the only one I could trade with. So I'll choose the other version he chooses.

All I want is for Spiritomb to learn Recover, really.

I play regularly on PBR and tend to... well, annihilate everyone who does not fight me with creative sets.

For example, I can most of the time read the minds of those boring OU users.

My Dark pokémon has always a cruel, deceitful and devastating strategy to defeat anyone who is not prepared.
