The sun stood high in the world of T-MAG, the Virtual Reality game that had revolutionized the world with it's fantastic gameplay. However, not many people have access to T-MAG, but events like this one is broadcast all over the world for people to watch. Thousands of players, that would be almost everyone, had logged on today and travelled to the T-MAG Colosseum to take place in the T-MAG Grand Prix, the biggest T-MAG Tournament yet. Every known player was there, along with many unknown players, that may or may not become famous through the course of the tournament.

Vector stood in the mass of people, waiting for an employee at X Corps, the developers of T-MAG, to make an appearance and hold a speech before the battles could begin. Suddenly, a big platform appeared from nowhere and on it stood one of the five biggest men in all of X Corps, Halon Westburg.

"Welcome, everyone, to T-MAG Grand Prix!" He said wth a deep voice, enhanced by his Game Master powers. The crowd cheered. "I hope that we will have a great tournament, with lots of intense action and lots of new friends. Maybe we will see a new face appear on the screen at the end, or maybe we will see one of the more known players like Diablo or Thor?"

Diablo and Thor was two great players, and Vector had faced both of them once before, suffering defeat to both of them. Halon coughed once to get everyone's attention.

"Well now." He said and smiled. "If everyone could calm down a screen will appear that tells you which group you are in!"

A big screen appeared, showing 24 letters (A-X) and underneath two numbers, with A having 1-100, B 101-200, C 201-300 and so on until it reached 2402 (with X having 2301-2402)

Each player had been given a number which revealed which group they were in. Vector was in Group B, and he understood that the one victor in each group would then participate in the [i]real[/i] tournament. But first he would have to defeat the ones in Group B.

((Just start by saying which Group you are in. You shouldn't be in the same Group as someone else, as we want everyone to be in the Final 24.))

[Twig]

Vee looked at the gigantic screen. There were so many numbers and names. It took him a while to finally find out what group he was in. When he wrote down his group number on a piece of paper, he left to get ready.

Vee noticed almost everybody surrounding him were wearing hi-tech armor or magical clothes while all he had were regular green pants and a green shirt. He thought of using this as an advantage. Maybe his enemies will underestimate him, but that won't work at the final twenty-four. If you're on the top twenty-four, you have to be smart. Vee didn't expect to win. He didn't even think he will make it to the Top Twenty-Four. Maybe he'll get lucky. Maybe not. All he cares about was to have fun.

He took out his bow and an arrow. He positioned himself, and then shot the arrow up into the sky. The arrow blasted into a big beautiful confetti explosion.

[color="#9932CC"]Fubar looked at the listing with a smile. This was exciting, being able to fight in a huge tournament and show everybody your mettle. This whole game is exciting, you are EXCITED. You got in the V tournament, which is number 22, which is like two twos squished together. Two is your lucky number, so twenty two is like super lucky. This is so cool, you have like no idea reading people.

In fact, you go give a friendly wave to all your friends who are rping with you. Hi guys![/color]

[font="Impact"][font="Impact"]Oh come on now. This is dumb as f***. You are just a weak little brat with a fetish for number 2. You know you can't really do this. And stop breaking the fourth wall, it's gay as f***.[/font][/font] [color="#9932CC"]A voice in your head spoke with particular venom.

Fubar scowled, ever since you started playing this game that annoying voice started bugging you. But you won't let him bring you down, you just have to chill and accept the beuty of everything.

You just have to kill everyone to win right? Easy peasy. [/color]

[Ice.]

Scarlet groaned as they mentioned Diablo and Thor. She hated their guts. All they would do is bask in their fame day in and day out. She smirked at the thought of destroying them later on in the tournament. Her daydreaming was cut short when Halon announced the group system. Scarlet knew she got that she was in the X group. Half of her wanted Diablo or Thor to be in her group so she could slaughter them. The other half, however, wanted her to be in a group of nobodies. That way, she would have a chance of getting to the real tournament. She sighed as she looked up in the sky and saw an explosion of confetti. [i]"Nerds and their useless weapons." [/i]Scarlet scanned the whole stadium. Everywhere she looked she saw crazy, anime-esque characters, videogame-esque characters and so on. She new it was going to be an entertaining contest. The ability to beat the crap out of people for fun is something she definitely wouldn't pass up.

[Headmaster Monokuma]

Brain thought about the seeds he had brought with him. The Peashooter, Torchwood, Wallnut, Sunflower... [i]Will what I have be enough?[/i] He wondered. [i]I KNEW I should have brought the Threepeater. He knew it too. He isn't going to let me live this down, that's for sure.[/i] Brain looked up at the large screens above him, and started to scan them to find out where he was. Taking out the paper with his number, which was six-hundred seventeen, he quickly learned he was in Group G. [i]Maybe I should have brought a few aquatic Plants too. Like the SeaShroom. Or maybe the Cat-Tail. I love that Cat-Tail, but I forgot it's seed packet.[/i] Looking around, Brain noticed that very few people weren't in some kind of armor. It seemed most people preferred to be directly involved with the combat. That just wasn't Brain's style. He was more of a strategist, as was evident with his AD's. None of them involved him directly attacking. Most people would call him a coward, or at least, that's what he thought.

[Buttercup]

Char crawled through the legs of the mass of people, before standing up at the base of the screen. [i]C,[/i] he thought. [i]The first letter of Char's name.[/i] He turned around and started crawling out. [i]And my group number.[/i] As he stood up on the edge of the crowd, he patted the dust off his jumpsuit and grasped the gauntlet on his right arm. [i]With my numerous rare and powerful AD chips, I'll win easily for the honor of Char Aznable,[/i] he thought as he stared at his T-MAG. He stared back at the others all clamouring to have a look at the screen. He smirked, turning up his pug nose. [i]These pigs don't stand a chance.[/i]

[Blake]

"Group A, huh? Does it really matter in the end? Ah well.... Matters for the moment, I guess." Looking around, noly a few people managed to draw Black's interest. The others just fell into the crowd, and were just another player. He would just beat those faces, for they were never any threat to him. "Âme Puissance." As he uttered the short phrase to activate his AD, his arm was encased in crystals, and the blue orbs on his shirt began to glow softly. The crystals shattered, and his blade appeared in his left hand. He moved it around a few times, to get back into the hang of using it. [i]"So, when do we start?"[/i], he thought, arm and sword by his side.

Yuki silently watched Thor and Diablo as Westburg gave his announcement. She wasn't really amazed by them or anything, rather, she was studying them. The girl hadn't really ever paid attention to how strong and powerful they were, so she figured that this was a chance to at least see them. Yuki already knew where she was, all alone with a bunch of uninteresting players in Group S. She didn't see anything interesting about the others yet, so she figured she'd give them a chance before just marking them off as dull and boring. Yuki seemed pretty focused on her surroundings and the people in the same group as her, even though she's about ready to call them monotonous in any unique characteristics. Hell, the girl just thought that they were a bunch of nerds acting like they do in the outside world.

Mako (This is assuming when we are doing actions, we use our Alias names.) squirmed on through the large crowd at the Stadium area. He got jabbed in the gut and elbowed in the face before he could make it through. [i]Man, I hate crowds.[/i] He made it far enough to look at the Match Up boards.
"Group N? What an interesting choice..." He said aloud, without noticing. He looked at his Gauntlet.
"And to think, all the power I need to win is in this glove..."
He held his hands in the air, letting Electricity arc between his hands. With a satisfied sigh, he moved along, knowing that his opponents would be around soon.

[Clair]

Harmony hurried through the crowd, trying to get to her designated group. [i]A-X, huh?[/i] she thought, grinning, already knowing what she was going to pick. [i]H for Harmony![/i] she shouted mentally, pushing against other contestants in her rush to get to the H destination. Eventually, she arrived at her group. Harmony, who was never still for a second, immediately started to prowl the outer rim of the H select, studying her future opponents, her sharp blue eyes narrowed. A blue-haired man caught her eye and winked at her, and Harmony answered by narrowing her eyes at him and licking her lips, almost hungrily.

3 hours later~

The sun had started to descend, and after three hours of intense fighting only twenty-four players remained, among them was Vector and both Diablo and Thor. The twenty-four stood in a circle around the platform on which Halon stood on.

"It seems that you are the twenty-four greatest fighters in the world of T-MAG!" He said and chuckled. "But it isn't over yet..."

Another holographic screen appeared, showing a traditional Tournament bracket.

"As you can see the first match will be between the winner of Group A and the winner from Group B!" As Halon spoke the places where Vector and Black stood. "Black versus Archangel!"

Vector nodded and looked at his opponent.They stood in the Colosseum grounds, a big, circle shaped arena. The players that had been defeated was either watching from the sides or logged out by now. Everyone else of the players, except for Vector and Black, was teleported to the platform that Halon stood on. The platform started circulating in the air around the Colosseum, so that the ones who stood on it got a view on the battlefield from any angle.

Vector unsheathed his sword.

"It's time. Black, right?" He said and smiled. "You honor me with this fight!"

[Ice.]

Scarlet laughed as the announcer stated that they were the best fighters in the world of T-MAG. She thought back to all of the fights when she was still in the X Group. Everybody was referring to her as a "demon", a "hacker". She rarely used her Gold ADs and never used her Platinum. They gave her the nickname "Blood Ice". Sure, it's not the coolest of names but it gets the job done. When the two people were first sent to fight, she smirked. [i]"This will be a great time to watch how they fight. I'll study their assets so if I have to go up against them, I'll destroy them." [/i]She then turned around and looked at all of the people on the platform. She had an urge to trash talk the two apparent "gods" at this but she backed down. [i]"Whatever. I'll go up against them eventually." [/i]Scarlet then stared at the field, her sunglasses shined in the sun.

Yuki got through all of her matches swiftly and soundly, basically tearing her opponents asunder with her Frozen Saber. She didn't put that much effort into fighting because she just fought uninteresting people, just as the girl thought she would. Desiring isolation to not interact with her enemies, Yuki made her way over to the edge of the platform and sat down. She got a good view of the combatants that were going to fight, so she could carefully observe and study them. The girl maintained her same curious and stalker-like stare that she had before.

[Clair]

Harmony heard Scarlet's laugh and frowned. Was this all a game to her? The black-haired was lucky to have made it this far... she winced as she stroked a wound in her shoulder. She almost didn't make it through the qualifying round. What a shame that would have been...

[i]Fight![/i]

[i]Harmony immediately dashed around the outside of the arena, several chips activating around her. She used her Aeolian Breeze to push her enemies towards the middle of the arena, where they were quickly picked off by the brawling central party. Harmony also utilized her Myxolidian Missiles, picking off enemies around the perimeter, shooting winks at their surprised faces. She was bursting with confidence, her chest heaving up and down rapidly, scanning the H arena.

She was the only one left... besides that man who had winked at her earlier.

"Hey beautiful..." he said lightly, conjuring a sword out of nowhere. Harmony simply smirked.

"You won't slow me down!"

What followed next was a melee of chip attacks. The man truly was deft with his sword, as he kept blocking her advances and using different element chips to strengthen his blade. Harmony yelped as she let her defenses down and the sword grazed her bare arm. However, her left hand was busy conjuring up Phrygian Flame, which she let loose into the man's face, screaming a war cry.

The man fell, and Harmony raised her arms in victory, the lone person in Group H...[/i]

Harmony surveyed her fellow competitors, and smirked.

[i]Soon, I'll be the only one standing![/i]

[Headmaster Monokuma]

[i]How could I possibly get this far? I mean, I use PLANTS for crying out loud. This was just a joke build I was trying, yet it worked! Maybe I'm not too bad at this after all.[/i] Brain thought. He wasn't sure why people had any trouble against him, due to obvious reason. Maybe he should have had more faith in his Plants after all. Looking around, he noticed a girl with sunglasses scanning the platform, which didn't surprise him. It seemed as if no one would just sit back and not bother looking at the others. Brian quickly checked his watch to make sure he had all one hundred Sun he normally had. [i]Hopefully this fight will be starting soon, my battles were to close for me, hopefully I'll see something one-sided.[/i] He remembered how a lot of his opponents managed to make it to his Sunflowers, but luckily he was able to blow them back with Cherry Bombs, those soldiers. His Peashooters and Tallnuts he planted took quite a bit of damage in the battles. "Sunflower!" He said, using fifty Sun to summon a Sunflower.

"Brian? Are we fighting again?" Asked the flower, blinking and bouncing back and forth.

"Not yet, just felt like making sure I was concentrated." He replied.

[Makο]

Mako leaned up against a wall, watching small streams of electricity jump from his finger to a small assortment of objects, whether it be a pole or a person. [i]Dang after effect of using lightning. Oh well...its like a built in joy buzzer, I suppose.[/i] He smirked to himself. His opponents were surprisingly easy. He had always came down from above after a Leap of Faith, unleashing Volt Orbs down. No one has yet to survive, and he only had to use his Platinum once. He continued to stare at his finger, which zapped his face.
"Crap!" He yelled, accidentally. He looked around and walked away, nonchalantly.

[Andx]

Vianne had been very excited for the start of the tournament. Seeing so many players in one place was not something that just happened every day. One was certain to come across players of all types. Of course the weak were boring, Vianne was really looking forward to getting the tough opponents. The initial announcements were made. The presence of the two well known fighters was exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. Despite a drive to face strong opponents, she was rather reserved on most occasions. And she wasn't so much a fighter as she was a mage so she wasn't sure how well she'd do in the fights. It was a weird mix of anxiety and fear about the upcoming fights that had her ready to go.

Looking at her number assignment and what numbers put people where, she saw she was to take part in group Q.
[i][i]"Q? Funny letter. Let's hope the others in Q are this entertaining."[/i][/i] she thought as she went off to see her opponents. Unfortunately she was a little disappointed by the group. She hadn't really dominated any of her matches but they hadn't been hard either. Most of the time a smart use of her Silver DAs had been enough to get by. There was one point where a really fast-paced fighter hadn't given her much room or time to do anything. It had been frustrating to not be able to get spells off. Though he slipped up at the worst time and that was were Vianne, or Firia as she called herself in the game, had used a powerful Gold DA to end the fight. Aside from that there hadn't been much. And not being a melee fighter Vianne wasn't sure if she should be excited about how she'd done, or worried about how much better the winners of the other groups would be.

The initial rounds were over and the winners of each section were now ready to face each other. The winner of A and the winner of B were to be first in the series of fights. Since she had won the Q group she wasn't due up to fight for awhile. She wanted to, if she could, find the winner of group R as that was who she was most likely to be facing should the rest of the fights go in alphabetical order. Looking around she saw some of the other winners watching what would go on in the A-B fight.
[i]"Well, is it time to go make a friend or should I just silently observe too?"[/i] she thought. Unsure what to do she just focused in on the first two fighters.

[Twig]

Vee's first few fights had been easier than he thought it would be. The battles started with competitors on either side of the L Arena, so all he had to do was pull out an arrow and shoot. His opponents lost without even touching him. The fights later on got tougher, but Vee managed to beat them. A lot of them had been relying on there armor and weapons too much instead of their skill. This guy, whose username is Striker, died in a second because he charged at Vee with only a sword. Not the best weapon against bow and arrows.

The final fights of Arena L were no easy tasks. A bunch of them had counters to his arrows. It became hard when his opponent got close to him. He had no close combat skills, so the only he would escape is using Light Arrow to blind the opponents and run.

Vee was surprised he made it all the way to the Arena L finals. His last opponent was also an arrow user. He had almost lost because his opponent had shot his leg. Luckily for Vee, his opponent became cocky and turned around to say hi to the crowd. When he got his chance, he used his Chickenator arrow. That certainly got him the crowd. Instead of shooting his "chickenized" opponent, Vee caught him and showed it for the crowd to see.

"Here is my opponent! The great chicken archer!" Vee shouted.

The crowd then chanted "Vee for victory! Vee for victory!"

Vee thought of how interesting it would have been if he got in the V arena. He wondered how he got number L 1105. Oh well, it doesn't matter.

[Blake]

Black had gotten through his opponent's with no real struggle, just as he expected. He'd really only used two of his Silver ADs together to beat everyone. Thoses same two techniques were still out. In his left hand was the sword that had appeared from crystals earlier. In his right was an absurdly large sword, with an eye staring out at the sky. It only had a blade on one sid, and it looked as if it was made of flesh and blood in many places.

As he heard his call, he was ready to fight, and walked to a postion directly in front of Archangel. "I honor you? Well, good to see that know who is going to win this." Black said, a dark grin spreading across his face. "You make the first move. I like to be on the losing side!"

[Aesirson]

"Then I shall bring you to it." Vector said, standing with his back straight, pointing his sword at his opponent. "Zodiac Seal: Secundus!"

As he activated the AD he raised the sword to the sky, enveloping it in a enchanting, purple light. The light grew, and soon the whole battleground was printed with a circle. The circle had twelve points, each one symbolized with a glyph resembling a sign in the Western Zodiac. Four of them was glowing with a blue light: Leo, Virgo, libra and Scorpio. Vector then let out a shout as he swung his sword, causing an energy shockwave to blast towards Black.

((The Zodiac Seal is Vector's speciality. The part (Primitus, Secundus or Tertius) that is applied last determines what powers the seal will invoke when it's completed. All effects of the seal will remain active until it is somehow dispelled or until it is completed and the Zodiac Seal Combo is invoked.))))

[Blake]

Black's grin only grew wider as he took note of the seal and the energy blast. Unfortunately for Archangel, his swords' true nature had yet to be revealed. "Come now, you thought that was enough?!" Black yelled with a laugh, as the eye on the large sword, in his right hand, began to move about. The blades gave off slight auras now, the right blade giving off red, and the left one a blue green aura. But, that was not his only move. "Vecteur! Plate!" An arrow shape appeared beneath his eet, shooting forward and to his left, and as he would have landed, he called out the same phrase, this time pointing straight at his enemy. He shot off with the larger blade extended as if it were made for jousting, and his other sword at rest.

[Ice.]

Scarlet couldn't help but laugh at them. She thought it was hysterical, for some odd reason. [i]"Honoring? Then I shall bring you this? God, what the hell are these guys thinking?! This is hilarious. Look at their stupid attacks. God, I just want to take a damn icicle and impale them. They deserve it." [/i]She continued to laugh as brushed her hair out of her eyes. She looked around the platform, and all she saw was serious faces everywhere. [i]"I can't be the only one. Seriously?" [/i]Scarlet stopped laughing and took a deep breath to calm herself down. "Nobody else thinks that this is hilarious? Anybody? God, you guys need to lighten up." Scarlet started to get pissed and turned back to the battle, hoping that the morons would do something else to make her laugh.

[Aesirson]

Vector had to think quickly as Black darted towards him. He raised his left arm, as if he was going to guard himself with his T-MAG, but then several, transparent shields appeared in front of him, guarding him from the blow of Black's attack.

"The Immovable Object AD." Vector explained as the shields disappeared. "It's only a Silver AD, but it's the strongest Defensive AD, although it's very unstable. And here's it's Offensive counterpart!"

He once again pointed his sword towards the opponent.

"The Unstoppable Force!"

A transparent copy of the sword shot out of it, aiming for Black. Even though it was only a blade, the shockwaves of the attack could be felt so far as to the platform above them.

[Blake]

Black was surprised at the shield, but not wavered. As he saw the transparent sword, he let his grin spread, and he dropped his demonic blade. Holding his right hand out towards the blade, he put it into a clawing shape. Seconds later, a dark orb appeared in the center of his palm, and black energy quickly streamed into it from the area. "Ténèbres de Néant!" Black yelled, as the black orb compressed to only a centimeter wide, before exploding into a large blast from his hand. It was a cone shaped blast, small at the base, but quickly becoming very large before it stopped growing. The round blast was about 10 feet in diameter, and Black anticipated his opponent's demise from it as it continued from his hand.

[Aesirson]

The transparent blade and the black blast collided, but instead of one side overpowering the other the area around the collission seemed to implode, as if a black hole was formed. It seemed as if reality was being sucked in, but it soon stopped and returned to normal, both the blade and the black blast gone.

"Your power level appears to be as high as mine." Vector simply said and smiled. "But you still doesn't have access to this. My ultimate combo!"

Vector raised his sword to the sky and it was once again enveloped in purple light, followed by four smaller lights appearing. The smaller lights then shot out to the edge of the arena.

"Zodiac Seal: Primitus!" As he yelled the name of the AD, the glyphs of Aries, Taurus, Gemini and Cancer lit up. "This is the first Zodiac Seal, and it enhances my defensive abilities, but it will also enhance the power of all my other Zodiac Seals!"

He cut in the air, again firing a shockwave from the sword towards Black, but this energy attack was stronger then before.
