If you control a face-up "Black Rose Dragon", you can Special Summon this card from your hand. As long as you control "Black Rose Dragon" and this card, "Black Rose Dragon" can inflict Piercing Damage. Each time you inflict Piercing Damage to your opponent. put 1 Black Rose Counter on this card. When "Black Rose Dragon" or this card is destroyed, inflict damage to your Life Points equal to number of Black Rose Counters on this card x 200.

[spoiler=^_^AxManBoy^_^ 's Card]

When this card is Summoned, destroy 1 Level 4 or lower non-Plant-Type monster your opponent control. This card can attack your opponent directly. If it does, Special Summon 1 Level 3 Plant-Type Monster from your Deck in face-up Defense Position. You cannot Synchro Summon this turn unless if you Synchro Summon a "Black Rose Dragon". When this card is used as a Synchro Material monster for the Synchro Summon of "Black Rose Dragon", equip this card to it. The equiped "Black Rose Dragon" gains 1000 ATK and cannot be destroyed by card effects. If "Black Rose Dragon" would be destroyed by battle, you can destroy this equiped card instead

That's actually kind of hard... AxMan's card supports the Summoning of the card and then equips itself to it... which essentially means Black Rose Dragon can use it's effect and nuke the whole field except itself, am I right? So yeah, summoning a Beatstick with 3400 ATK and wiping the whole field in one turn never was easier :blink: That first effect makes it even stronger and doesn't really support the idea, so yeah... I'm not very good at this, but even I can see that this card is so overpowered it's not funny anymore. And the restriction... well, it's there for a reason, but if you have this card, why would you Summon anything else? Maybe a "You cannot Synchro Summon this turn" clause would've done it, balancing-wise... but anyways, the idea is also... okay, but nothing to get very excited about.

Overdrive's card is a little more basic, but it also supports the Black Rose, the idea with the Piercing damage is pretty nice, and the little burn doesn't hurt. It has a nice, actually realistic feel to it.

Overdrive gets my vote.

Hm...I don't know can I accept this vote. If you have the same opinions, ok. I'll see what AxManBoy says about this vote.

Currently, it's 2-0 now, but we'll see.

Well~ I'm not one to normally be seen within Contests but whatever~

Let's see here~

The first card has a beautiful flow! It's fantastic! Plant's are more Token than Counters which makes me feel rather iffy, and makes me feel as if it's unnecessary, however, it does give good burn. It gives great support to BRD as with BRD's deadly reduction effect, your opponent may take on DEf which can now be broken through by this. Look out stall~! Nicely done Overdrive. The second card is a tad powerful. It's more pain based then the first card. When it's Summoned, if your opponent controls any level 4 or lower non plant type monster and it can attack directly dealing 1000 each turn, and not only that but when it does, you get a free plant monster. Swift summoning for BRD which is rather OP considering it's instant and when you do it BRD's ATK becomes 3400 And it cant be destroyed by card effect. GO DARK END DRAGON! But not only is it now even harder to destroy, even if you get a monster to destroy it by battle, you can just toss this card to save it. Although I'm not concerned with that, thats so commonly seen in equips now. I'm thinking card 2 is bordering OP. It's vaguely relatable to Salvo ><.\

Sorry Ax ):

Overdrive gains my vote.
