Kai while continuing to his right stopped with a slight look of shock on his face, he quickly turned to his left, he swotrd he saw someone in a dark purple robe leaning against sa building. Kai looked from side to side for a second. He got a relaly wierd feel from that moment, what was happening, he felt something shoot up in his very soul, Kai looked at his deck for a second. "Was it you'se that did tha, did you know who that was, was there even anyone there?" kai looked forward and continued to walk while looking for that Lily girl, if anyone did ghet in the way he would have to duel them and show how to elmininate doubt.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

The young woman started analyzing the various contestants from what she had seen, and she tried to find a suitable opponent, until she accidentally collided with a young man. She looked up at who she had collided with to see that he was Kai Truth, one of the leaders in this strange butting of heads. She got up, and extended a hand to Kai. [color=#0000CD]"Hello."[/color] She emotionlessly greeted. [color=#0000CD]"I apologize for colliding with you on accident, Mister Truth. Are you injured, physically, mentally, or psychologically?"[/color]

Kai whilst off in his day dream accidently bumped into a girl. "Oh sorry!" Kai stated out of concern. Kai accepted the hand shake and smiled," No i'm fine, are you okay?" Kai thought for a second while smiling, "How did she know my name? Is word of my win spreading already?" Kai thought for a second he actually was in soeme pain from the collision, the girl was either really strong or had really thick skin as Kai felt the pain of the impact. "Are you a duelist here? Where's your Duel disk?" Kai questioned the girl. Kai tried to forget about the recent thought of seeing the dark purple coated figure.

The young woman nodded. [color=#0000CD]"I have been watching the tournament, and I know that you have no losses as of yet. I have decided that it is my turn to find an opponent, and I am currently looking for an opponent. Do you know of an opponent that I can duel against? I can Turbo Duel, but I prefer Ground Duels."[/color] However, the woman was still emotionless, with no inflections in her speech, no shifts of tone, and no changes in her expression, which looked like a cmbination between daydreaming and bored, or what a face would look like if there was a default facial expression other than smiling.

Kai looked on with slight confusion this was no ordinary girl however he put that aside forthe moment. "What is your name miss?" Kai asked with a smile as he folded his arms and activated his duel disk. He squinted his eyes for a seocnd as he felt the pain of his bruises from when he collided with the mysterious girl. Kai took a step back, "I'm glad you know of me, perhaps you would like a duel with me? What do you say?" Kai was confident but still weary of who this girl was. Kai then asked a serious question. "miss, what si your reason for being in this tournament anything specific?"

The young woman replied. [color=#0000CD]"For my name, I don't have one. My master, Doctor Xavier Padora, calls me 'honey', 'dear', 'darling', and other names of affection like those that I listed, but he didn't actually give me a name. However, I am the ninety-first attempt to create what I am, so I guess you could call be Number Ninety-One. For my mission, it is classified. I cannot tell you what my purpose is unless you have a Signer mark or are allied with the Signers. And for a duel, I would love to. Would you be willing to be my first opponent in this tournament?"[/color]

Dante looked at his hand, "He's setting up something I best prepare," he whispered. "I set 2 cards face down," the 2 holos appeared on the field. Its a good start, he thought, I need to win to stay in the game. The time is approaching I need to show some strength to show my usefulness. "I am sorry, Zeta but I can not lose here I will show you everything I have." He clenched his fist and pointed his arm to Zeta, "The light will not allow me to lose. I end my turn." I lacked the ability to chain my moves with Zero but now I will learn from my mistake, I grow from my defeat and learn from it, Dante thought lowering his arm.

"Same here, Dante!" He said. And it was Zeta's turn. "My turn, draw!" And Zeta drew his card. "Guess what I drew! Polymerization! I activate Polymerization, fusing together Elemental Hero Wildheart and Elemental Hero Necroshade, to Fusion Summon Elemental Hero Necroid Shaman!" Zeta took two cards from his hand and slid them into the graveyard zone as he put another card from his hand into the spell and trap zone. A wild masked warrior then appeared, holding a staff (ATK 1900). "When it's Special Summoned, I can destroy one monster you control. That's Vairon Vanguard!" The Necroid Shaman made a massive leap and then struck the warrior with his staff, before retreating. "Then I can Special Summon back to your field one monster in your graveyard, naturally, it's Vairon Vanguard!" And the monster destroyed reappeared (ATK 1700). "But don't forget I haven't Normal Summoned yet! I activate the effect of Elemental Hero Necroshade in my graveyard! Only once, I can Normal Summon a monster without tributes! Go, Elemental Hero Bladedge!" Another monster appeared, but this one seemed to be a warrior made of gold (ATK 2600). "This is my super combo which I have never done before! Attack Vairon Vanguard, Elemental Hero Bladedge!

Dante smirked, "I activate the permanent trap Synthetic Seraphim then activate the counter trap Negate Attack." A spiraling light appeared in front of Dante. Dante began to grind his teeth, I was barely able to escape that turn, he thought. "Now Synthetic Seraphim activates every time a counter trap activates I can special summon a Serapham token." Dante thought to himself, Seriph gave me this card I will not betray that trust. A small winged light appeared in front of Dante. "He's good he completely flipped the table on me... Dammit."

"Cool move!" Zeta declared. He knew he had no more hand cards, but that was fine. His Earthbound Immortal was close to the surface to his deck, although not [i]at[/i] the surface. "You're a good Duelist, Dante! You know what? I've decided to no longer hold back!" And indeed he had. He knew the next card he'll draw would be a card instrumental to summoning his Earthbound Immortal, Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca, who believed itself superior to the true leader, Uru, for some reason or another which Zeta didn't know of. [i]He has no clue of who he's facing, does he now?[/i] And for some reason, he put down his hood, showing his Jaden-like face to Dante. "Turn end."

Kai looked confused for a moment, "No doubt shes no orddinary girl, but she is so open about it, her master? Who could that be, and she doesn't have a name?" Kai smiled. "Alright miss, I'm going to call you Rose for now" Kai then gave a thumbs up. he then had a serious look on his face when the girl mentioned the wsigners, "Siugners, dark signers? what could they be...So sher is here for a sreason and it must have to do with what she said. "Kai took a cuple of steps back. "Right so we're dueling then?" Kai stood ina prepared stance ready for the duel about to start

Number 91 considered the name. [color=#0000CD]"Why did you name me 'Rose'? I am not like a rose. My hair is blue and my eyes are silver. It would be more fitting if I had red hair. Also, I do not look like the flower you named me after. I do not have a stem or petals. I have arms, legs, a torso, and a head. Plus, I have female reproductive systems as opposed to both male and female reproductive organs, like a flower. So I ask you again: why did you call me 'Rose' if I do not look like one?"[/color]

Meanwhile, the Doctor was watching the duel between Zeta and Dante. The Doctor was amused at the fact that the Dark Signer had an Elemental Hero deck, of all things, but he hoped that the Condor Dark Signer would be defeated.

"Because Soldier was destroyed by Necro, Vairon Material was sent to the grave allowing my add another one to my hand." He added the card before the nd phase. "At least I still have Soldier and my token," He said drawing, "Funny how things work. I summon Vairon Cube." A shining cube appeared on the field, "Now I syncro summon using my Seraphim token, Vairon Soldier, and Vairon Cube." Cube burst into 3 rings and the token and Soldier burst into a total of 5 stars then they aligned, "In the almighty guidance of the light. None shall be lost from the path. Then the light creates the weapon of it's will a beckon of hope and an instrument of destruction. Come forth Vairon Epsilon!" A massive mechanized winged angel appeared onto the field. "Now I equip Vairon Material." Epsilon now wielded a metal sword (ATK: 3400), "Go Vanguard of the Light strike down Statos." The angel charged toward the elemental hero.

"Activate trap card, Mirror Gate!" Zeta declared. And mirrors appeared everywhere, and then suddenly Stratos was on Dante's field, and Epsilon on Zeta's. Epsilon then attacked Stratos, and it was Dante who suffered the battle damage. Although that, Stratos was still on the field despite the attack. "Whenever a monster you control attacks an Elemental Hero I control, Mirror Gate can switch the two monsters, before calculating damage. Then both monsters are returned to their respective owners during the End Phase of the turn Mirror Gate is activated."

[Raine]

(LP: 8000 -> 6400) Dante shielded him self from the blow, "Using the light in such a way is unforgivable. Such Heresy will not go unpunished. I set 1 card face-down and end my turn." Epsilon reappeared on Dante's side of the field, "The light is not something to be toyed with by the likes of you". Dante clenched his fish. No, he thought, I will not be humiliated and I will not let the light be manipulated. That move mocked what I believe in, calm down Dante... just calm your self this person knows nothing. What ever he did it was unintentional...the light allows forgiveness. "Show me your prowess as a duelist Zeta," now releasing his hand.

And Zeta was suddenly quiet. He lowered his head down as if he had just lost control of his body. He then looked up again, but with a blank expression on his face. "My turn, draw....I activate Pot of Greed." Zeta took a card from his hand and inserted it into the spell and trap zone. He knew that the Pot of Greed card was banned, but no one bothered to check his deck, now did they? "It allows me to draw two cards....I activate the Field Spell, Skyscraper...." And suddenly they were inside a dark city, with lights flashing out from it. The truth was, he was in another fit, but during a duel, his fit did something different. "I activate the card, Elemental Draw. By removing up to two Elemental Hero monsters in my graveyard, I can draw cards equal to the number I remove. I remove from play Elemental Hero Wildheart and Elemental Hero Necroshade to draw two cards." And the two monsters previously fused into Necroid Shaman appeared, before disappearing once again. Zeta drew two more cards from his deck. "Now, Bladedge, attack his Epsilon." And due to the effect of Skyscraper, the ATK of Bladedge became 3600.

Kai thought for a moment then smiled. "Don't think of things so much as looks, a simple exterior can do nothing to explain the symbolic message of that name, The scent of a rose sygnifies its beauty as does its appearance when compared to other flowers. When it comes right down to it, a rose is a personified human." Kai had picked that name for a reason, his mother's name was rose, she had raised him all his life and had oftent ried to cheer him up when his father dissapeared, he hadn't seen his mother in so loing, he felt the name fit the girl however. "So would you mind if I made the first move?"

Number Ninety-One, currently dubbed "Rose", disagreed. [color=#0000CD]"But a rose is a flower. The only distinguishing attributes that separate it from other flowers are the petal shape, the petal, arrangement, the petal color, the lifespan, the organ characteristics, and the range of growth. There is nothing else that is special about a rose from any other flower species. And a rose cannot be a human. It is physically impossible. And yes, you may go first. Let me just activate my Duel Mode."[/color]
Ninety-One's right forearm suddenly opened as the panels making up her skin disengaged, revealing machinery underneath. Her arm quickly arranged itself into a Duel Disk-like contraption, complete with a Deck. (#91: 8000 LP)

Kai freaked out when he saw the wya the mysterious girl's dueld isk came out.

"What the!!!!???" Kai screamed out in a comical way, "What is that??? What are you??" Kai thought for a moment "Master". Kai looked at the girl. "Rose, are you a robot and s this "master" your creator? The name "rose" may seem weird to you, but the name is held dear within me even if it takes the whole duel im going to show you why it's such a valuable name!" Kai chuckled for a second. "And you'll appreciate it as much as i do."

"Draw! I set 2 cards face down and 1 monster in Defence Position, You know, i have my own reasons for entering this tournament." Kai clenched his fists, "I won't rest until I elmininate the doubt of 1 man. Rose, I can't allow you to get in the way."

Meanwhile a figure in a dark purple cloack watched the battle form a skyscraper building.

Dante shielded him self as Bladedge struck Epsilon, "Dammit...". The resulting explosion consumed Dante (ATK: 8000 -> 7800) "Since Vairon Material was sent to the grave I can add a Vairon Magic to my hand. So I add Vairon Component to my hand". He selected the card and added it to his hand then shuffled. [for sake of speed I'm going to assume your going to strike with Necroshaman] Necroid Shaman charged Dante and struck, "Ahh..," Dante was pushed back wards (LP: 7800 -> 5900). "Epsilon was one of my best card, dammit all. I can't lose and i need to use what I have to come back." Dante struck the wall beside him.

"It's not over yet." Zeta said blankly. He watched and looked at Dante's empty field. A small, devillish grin appeared on his face, although from Dante's distance, it would be difficult to spot. "I activate the quick-play spell, Elemental Dark Sacrifice. By destroying one Elemental Hero monster I control, which in this case shall be Elemental Hero Necroid Shaman, I can select another Elemental Hero monster to be able to attack twice." Suddenly, the Elemental Hero Bladedge jumped towards Necroid Shaman....and cut off his head. Bladedge then turned towards Dante, and a dark aura could be seen surrounding it. "So then, Elemental Hero Bladedge, attack Dante directly." And another attack hit Dante directly (Dante 3300). "Finally, I end my turn."

A robotic soldier made from wood and iron appears on the field, wielding a bamboo bo staff. The robot has a barrel-like section on its back and a body that barely looks human. It stands at attention, ready for its mistress to go it orders. (1400 ATK)

One of Nisamu's gears starts to suddenly shake and go wild, causing the robot to shudder, as if it is malfunctioning.

Two facedowns appeared behind the mysterious mechanical soldier. Overall, Number 91's move was incredibly puzzling. What was the point of summoning a 1400 ATK monster like that? Furthermore, instead of calling the robot "Nisamu" or "Model Two Hundred and Thirty-Six", she called it "Model Two-Three-Six". Was she really a robot?

"...So they did not approach you... That's interesting..." Leuneth said. "...Very well... I have only one more thing to ask you..." Leuneth said. "...Why did you dwlefy a release from this cursed fate?" Leuneth asked. "This place is a fate worse than death... What is it that you could possibly seek in this world?" Leuneth asked. "Answer me that, and I shall leave you be... For now..." Leuneth said.

-MEANWHILE-

Strata looked at Kirin. "My story? I came here with my friend, who promised me a battle at the end of the tournament, once we were the only two left, but... He seems to have left, and I don't know where he went." Strata said. "Well, either way, it looks like we have something in common." Strata said. He held up his arm, showing his mark, still glowing very faintly. "I don't know what it's for, but it seems to have something to do with that dragon you summoned, as well as mine." Strata pulled out Black Feather Dragon.

Lily merely raised an inquisitive eyebrow, still unsure what the men in white had to do with anything. "Why did I...I beg your pardon? Defy? Hmm, I'm not sure what the question is, exactly, but...I have things I still wish to accomplish. This tournament is that step. I will not elaborate further with you. My motives are to be my own, until that happy time when I shall let them be known to others."

Justin wandered the station corridors. He had been here for a while now, and still hadn't found any opponents. Sure, there were duelists around, but they weren't really worth his time. For his first match, he wanted a real challenge, someone who could give him a run for his money, or even defeat him. That's the type of duel he wanted, and he was willing to do whatever was needed to find such a challenge. But for now, he was just walking and watching.

[Dementuo]

"...I say 'defy' in reference to this cold prison we call 'life'." Leuneth said. "...What I was asking is what there could possibly be that you desire here... And why you would inore an opprotunity for freedom..." Leuneth said. "...Perhaps it is harder to see for someone who does not see death's door every day..." Leuneth began. "..But I can assure you, that death is a far better fate than living in this world..." Leuneth said. "...Now then... You answered what I asked you... You may leave, if you wish..." Leuneth said. "..." Leuneth turned back towards the window of the observation platform.

Sven looked down into the viewpoint. "What is this...?" Sven said. "It seems that a change of events has occured..." Sven said. "Ven, look at this. The Head mark has left the Fudo descendant, and has moved onto someone else." Sven said to Ven. "What could this mean, I wonder...? Perhaps, the mark felt him not to be a fit vessel for such power..." Sven said. "However, had things continued as they were, then 'all possibilities would not be equal.'" Sven said. "Hm... Ven." Sven turned to Ven. "Keep watch. I must consult ZONE about this. I require his guidence as to our next move concerning this new development. Thins is something we should not decide for our own." Sven said. With that, he unsheathed his sword once more, cut open another rift, and climbed through.
