Gabriel mused as Kaiba ignored him. How befitting though that he was beaten by such an interesting individual. For now though, Gabriel couldn't help but chuckle.

[b]"Awww, poor Kaiba suffered a loss? Don't b so...glum....hehe....losing builds character.....which probably explains why you clearly.....have so much right now bahahaha!"[/b]

Gabriel said as he then turned away from Kaiba with a grin. H knew what to do now.

[b]"I thought you'd be interesting prey.....clearly however, you're just a spoiled brat. Money can't buy talent kid and clearly, you got none hehe.....Not even worth my time."[/b]

Gabriel said as he then proceeded to walk away, using those comments intentionally to get him rile up.

"So a conclusion can not be made until this duel has also concluded, very well. I activate my permanent trap Spirit Barrier." Tytannial's petals struck Asmodeus resulting in an explosion but a barrier appeared around Seriph, "The light will protect me." (LP:2600) Seriph smirked, "Unfortunately, Darkness is not a simply thing to kill," 2 dark winged orbs appeared. Asmo token (I cant remember if Black Garden effects other tokens) (ATK: 900) and Dies Token (ATK: 600). "Once the darkness's existence is threatened it multiplies to increase its survival chances". "People go there whole lives living in something they can't see, smell, taste, or touch. It controls them like a malevolent puppeteer. You are a victim so utterly consumed trapped in a prison that has grown on you so much that you think of it as the norm. I will free all of them, I will save all of them. It is only the darkness you see, you have lived in it so long that the light seems strange and foreign to you...don't let it manipulate like a marionette". Seriph was looking sympathetic at Kirin, like a lost sheep.

Flower petals flew out of the card, bombarding themselves upon Seriph. "If a Plant-type monster I control destroys a monster by battle, this card inflicts damage to you equal to the Original Attack power of your destroyed monster. Though the Asmodeus I destroyed only had 1500 ATK due to Black Garden, its original ATK was 3000, so my Blossom Bombardment inflicts 3000 points of damage to you. And since your Life Points are only 2600, well...you know what happens" Kirin watched as the blossoms closed in on Seriph.

[Raine]

Seriph looked around calmly seeing a storm of petals around him then he tilted his head upward then tilted toward Kirin, "Pitiful, so blind..." The petals consumed Seriph, "I will be watching you, Carrier of the Hind Claws." (LP: 2600 -> 0). The petals calmed and the holo-grams faded, Seriph had vanished as well as the large bag he was originally carrying.

Dante was wandering the walls of the station he was leaning himself against the wall. His head hung, "What did I do wrong, how could I have lost". Dante suddenly felt someone in front of him, he lifted his head quickly, "ah...". Seriph approached Dante and picked up from the wall so he supported himself, "Dante worry not, it is impossible to defeat a Signer though ordinary means," He dropped the bag he was carrying, "So we need to use unordinary means," Seriph smiled.

Gabriel had to admit, he enjoyed prey that fought and defended itself. Easy prey was always quite boring. However, he knew one thing he could say to make things interesting.

Gabriel said in a very twisted tone as he grinned and took out his duel disk. THe Rabid Wolf of dueling, who was known for being aggressive and loved going over the top to win a duel and perform overkill at various times.

"Of course." Akarui responded "Disbelief, doubt as in I DOUBT you're gonna win. Now, let's get on with this! I play the trap! Metal Blast! I destroy two cards on the field with Metal in its card name and destroy all cards you control! I target Metal Blast and Metal Warrior LV6!" A dark-purple light enveloped Metal Warrior LV6, the Metal Warrior charged at Kai's field, causing a fiery explosion that enveloped the whole field. Metal Warrior LV6 jumped out of the smoke, unharmed, concrete seemed to be falling off of it.... Akarui's field was relieved of the smoke, revealing a trap card! "Concrete Shield! I pay 500 Life Points and select one monster I control with Metal in its card name, it can't be destroyed by battle or by Card Effects! Sorry but this warrior is staying a while longer!" Akarui declared. [LP: 7500]

Yes I have had to fight for what I have now. You forget, there's more Kaiba's out there than just me. I had to fight my way and prove I had what it took to inherit the company. Now look at me. I'm owner of one of the biggest industries this world has ever seen. Now I was going to accept this duel very easily, but after what you just said? I think I'll have to show you just [i]exactly[/i] what a Kaiba possesses in Duel Monsters. You're on!"[/b]

After saying that Katsuya placed the duel disk and activated it. Placing his deck into the deck slot.

Kirin watched as Seriph disappeared. "Now...to catch that explosion..." he thought, ejecting his Duel Board from his bag. He activated it, as two wing-like objects expanded. He jumped on and rode to the site of the giant spider monster. When he arrived, he saw a cloaked figure along with several medics leaving the station nearby, and his mark started glowing. "Well, Ms. It seems like you have something to do with this..."incident"..." he glared up at the figure. "And from the looks of that monster, you're not exactly an ordinary duelist, are you..." he commented. "Well, would you help me experience your strength?" Kirin asked "politely" as he activated his black and red duel disk. "So...what will it be?" he asked, his eyes not leaving the figure.

"I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about," Lily said, turning to the 'random' person speaking to her. Of course, she knew he did have some semblence of a clue of what he was talking about. Uru's summoning had not exactly been what one might call "subtle". Her eyes fell upon his arm, where a red mark was glowing. A tight smile flicked across her face, almost invisible.

"But I see you are determined, nevertheless. And such a polite individual. However, here is far too crowded," she continued with disdain, watching the duelists around. "This is a large station, I'm sure there's an empty area not too far away. If you're serious about witnessing my strength, your only option is to follow me."

With that, she turned on her heel and walked down the corridor, going on until she had found an empty spot, where the river of duelists had not yet reached. She could feel Uru's hunger...this boy was a Signer, there was no mistaking it. And a Signer would have to be eliminated. She still did not want to draw attention, so the privacy was needed.

"Are you ready, then? This is your final option to back out," she warned, turning to face him.

[Zextra]

"Really? I'm honored..." Kirin flashed a fake, rough smile and followed her to the clearing. "Well, then...shall we begin?" Kirin asked, drawing his hand. He followed up by drawing a sixth card from his deck. "Now, I summon Twilight Rose Knight!" Kirin called, slapping a card onto his duel disk. The minuscule, almost chibi-like knight appeared, brandishing a small, stubby sword. "Now, I activate my Knight's effect, letting me Special Summon my Gigantic Cephalotus from my hand!" With that, a giant, carnivorous plant resembling a Venus Flytrap emerged, growling. "Well, I'll end there with two face-downs. I guess you're up" Kirin slid two cards into two slots in his duel disk.

"Then it's time to begin," Lily announced solemnly. As if that sentence was a cue, the glass barrier surrounded the two duelists, and a circle of blue fire surrounded the glass. The Spider Mark on Lily's arm lit up. Her Duel Disk switched into its active position and she drew her cards.

[i]Better pray I don't play my Immortal, boy...this Shadow Duel is lenient. Damage is pain and the monsters pack a punch...but you won't die if you lose.[/i]

"My turn," she announced. [i]He summoned a Tuner and another monster, but did not Synchro. His Knight has a mere 1000 ATK and keeps Plants from being attacked. His other monster gains 200 ATK if his plants are destroyed. He has two cards on the field. I do hope this duelist is less predictable than the other.[/i]

"I summon Stygian Street Patrol!" she announced. A motorcycle revved and a fiend astride a motorbike roared through the Summoning portal. (Lvl 4, 1600/1200)

Strata woke up. He looked around at where he was. He was lying down on a bed, and he appeared to be in some sort of infermury. "Ugh... What happened...?" Strata thought. He looked down at himself. Parts of his body were covered in bandages. "Urgh... That's right. She summoned that monster, and... What was that thing?" Strata thought as he struggled to get up. He looked down at his arm. It was glowing faintly. "What...? This thing again?" Strata said to himself. "This thing... Wait..." Strata reached into his deck box, and pulled out a card. "...Just as I thought. It's still here." Strata said to himself. He looked at the card. It was a white card, like Synchro cards, but the picture was completely black. Other than that, the card was blank. "So what will this thing be useful for?" Strata asked himself. "Might as well go back out. No sense in staying here." Strata thought.

As Stygian Street Patrol closed in on Twilight Rose Knight, Kirin called "Trap card, activate!", revealing a Compulsory Evacuation Device. "This allows me to return a monster to their controller's hand. Now, I'm selecting my Twilight Rose Knight!" Kirin declared as the mini knight disappeared. Kirin removed the card from his duel disk and added it to his hand. "Well...any more surprises, Ms.?" Kirin asked, silently questioning the purple flames around the duel field. "I could've just gone for that, but I don't want to use it carelessly..." Kirin thought as he turned back to the duel.

[i]He chose his own monster?[/i] Lily wondered to herself. "Surprises? Well, if I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it? I will stop attacking, and set one card facedown. That will end my turn."

The fiend drove around the large venus flytrap monster and retreated back to her field, as a hologram of a card appeared behind it. Lily glanced at her hand for a moment, then nodded to Kirin. "I wonder what surprises you hold."

"Let's continue, shall we?" Kirin drew another card. "Now, I'm Normal Summoning Twilight Rose Knight. Then, due to its effect, I'm Special Summoning Lonefire Blossom!" As Kirin spoke, the chibi-knight reappeared, this time along with a fiery plant-like being. "Now, I'm Tributing my Cephalotus to Special Summon Tytannial, Princess of Camellias!" Kirin declared, as the flowery princess descended, its base covered with leafy foliage. "Now, I'm attacking your Stygian Street Patrol with my Tytannial!" Kirin called, as Tytannial shot a barrage of flower petals at the fiend.

Lily raised an eyebrow subtly. [i]He kept Lonefire on the field...but why? It only has 500 ATK, whereas his other monster had 1850, and would have gained 200 more by Tributing Lonefire itself. Is he intending a level six Synchro?[/i]

She didn't react as her Stygian Street Patrol broke apart, taking with it a chunk of her lifepoints. However, she clenched a fist and her jaw in obvious discomfort.

Black smoke erupted from the field, and a warped monster appeared, cackling devilishly. (Lvl 10, ?/?)

"When I take Battle Damage, I can Special Summon Tragodeia from my hand, and its ATK is equal to the number of cards in my hand x 600. I now hold 3," she explained with a trace of smugness. (ATK: 1800)

"Well, nice surprise you got there, but it won't be as much help as you think" Kirin smiled, placing another card face-down. "Well, I guess that's all for now" he finished his turn as Tytannial moved back to his side of the field. "Now...she's also got that Stygian Street Patrol lying around in her Graveyard, which can remove itself for a Fiend with 2000 or less ATK... Then, there's Tragoedia, which she'll probably use to take control of something, though as of right now, Twilight Rose Knight's in the most danger right now.." he thought. "Well, it's your move..." he said.

Meko walked out of his room and down a courdoor until he came to a large open room where a young girl wearing a blue kimono walking with a few other people as he walked up to her his sign begain to burn but he ignored it. "Hello would you like to duel?" Meko asked as he turned derection and begain to walk with her waiting for an answer.

Meanwhile.
On the other side of the station Rori and Shadow couldn't find any one to duel until they found a boy sitting in a coffe shop. they walked in grabbed their duel disk and chaleneged him to a duel after three turn Shadow had the boy on the rope at 6000 - 3000. "My turn, Draw I play my Flamvell Dracos and tune him with my helos the pimordila sun to synchro summon my Ancient Flamvell Deity, Now thanks to his effect I can remove from play from your grave as many cards as you have in your hand. So Ill remove three cards from your grave and my Deity gains 200 atk for each one of those cards so now finish him with one final hit!"

Rin felt her mark, warning her of the presence of someone significant, just before someone challenged her. Turning, she saw a young man, apparently one of the two in the second, cancelled duel the day before, who was now keeping pace with her. [i]He doesn't mince words,[/i] she pondered to herself. She stopped and turned towards him. "Yes, I would," she replied, stepping backwards slightly and bowing in greeting. "My name is Rin Fujiwara, and who might you be?" she enquired, keeping up the persona of a young lady that had been drilled into her so long it almost came naturally. She stepped backwards, to open up space, and moved her duel disk out of her sleeve.

Gabriel grinned at his speech. Getting him riled up was exactly what he was looking for as he held his duel disk out as it activated.

"Yes, so it is," Lily said, drawing her card. After doing so, Tragoedia growled and its ATK rose to 2400. Lily spared the card she drew a momentary glance.

"I suppose I'll start by Summoning my Slate Warrior," she said, placing a card on the field. A strange blue-skinned monster dressed in an orange outfit and wielding a strange staff appeared. (Lvl 4, 1900/400) "Because that cost me a card from my hand, Tragoedia's ATK decreased by 600." (ATK: 1800)

"Next, I'll order my Tragoedia to attack your Twilight Rose Knight," Lily said. Tragoedia growled and hurled a ball of energy towards the knight.

"As you attack, I'm activating my Trap Card, Urgent Tuning!" Kirin called, revealing his face-down card. Instantly, Twilight Rose Knight and Lonefire Blossom burst into light. The knight transformed into three green rings which surrounded the light. Several seconds later, a thorny, blonde figure appeared in their place. "Meet Splendid Rose!" Kirin shouted, as he waited to see whether Tragoedia would continue its assault.

[i]Ah, so he did have Urgent Tuning, just as expected. I did expect him to use it last turn, though...[/i] Lily mused. "It seems that once again, you've forced me to conclude my attack early. I'll place a second facedown card and end my turn." A card hologram appeared on the field in front of her.

Tragoedia growled a little as yet another card left Lily's hand. (ATK: 1200) The red-accented Dark Signer smiled calmly back at her opponent. [i]What will you do now? You will not stop me from attaining victory in this duel. Nothing will...[/i]

This lets me revive my Lonefire Blossom! You know what happens next, right? I'm tributing my Blossom to Special Summon another Plant from my Deck!" Kirin explained, revealing another Tytannial card before placing it on his duel disk. "Tytannial, you're up!" Kirin shouted, another flowery princess appearing. "Now for my remaining face-down, Trap Stun!" Kirin declared. "As the name implies, it freezes all Traps. Now, I'm activating Splendid Rose's effect, which, by removing from play my Cephalotus, can halve your Slate Warrior's ATK! Now, Tytannial will attack Tragoedia. (Response? If not, then) Next, Splendid Rose, destroy Slate Warrior! (Response?)" Kirin commanded.
