Kai waited for allt he people to come out of the shuttle, he was unsure whether or not they had to wait for an announcement to start dueling, however it didn't really botherhim, he wanted to duel straight away to make an impact around the area. Kai eagerly waited for the one kid Akarui, when eeing him ont he shuttle Kai had a different feeling about the kid from most other duelists, this duel would be more then simply to clear doubt, it was also curiosity to both see how he stacked against other duelists and to see who this kid was and what gave Kai the impression that he was special in some way.

Strata got off of the shuttle, and turned to Akarui. "Hey, nice disk. That what you were working on a couple weeks ago?" Strata asked. "Either way, it looks pretty impressive. Well, I'll see you later. I have to go find my first opponent. We don't want to stand around and let everyone else get all the action, right?" Strata waved good-bye to Akarui, then left to go find an opponent. "Well, I don't really know any of these people, so I guess I'll just let someone else come to me for right now

-MEANWHILE-

Leuneth got off of his shuttle. "...So this is the station...Hm...This should prove some interest..." Leuneth thought. "..." He looked down at his arm. "...I can feel the presence of other Dark Signers here...Hmph...So long as they don't lose here...They should be fine..." Leuneth thought. "...Heh...To think I would care for anyone else...That is not like me...But then...Why is it that I feel this way...?" Leuneth thought. "...No...They are of no importance to me..." Leuneth thought. "...Hmph..."

-MEANWHILE-

"And so it begins." Sven said. "Now we watch for the Signers. All we have to do is halt the evolution of Stardust Dragon, and Synchro Monsters will fall." Sven said. "...And that will spare us from that fate..." Sven thought. "...That fate..." He thought again.

Akarui waved back at Strata. He then turned his back and got down on his knees. He pulled his Duel Board out of his bag. Another project that he was working on, only this one Strata knew nothing about. It was the shield of Metal Warrior LV4. He got geared up and was ready to roll. He thought he could get two things from this; one being more Turbo Duels, and another being more duels in general. He kept going, going fast enough to be faster then walking, and slow enough to give/receive challenges.

Lily stopped walking once she felt she was far enough inside the station and turned back to face the direction she expected duelists would be coming. During the turn, she noticed a small staircase and immediately ascended, emerging on the upper level, a small balcony-like area that allowed her to overlook the general area. Hm, this must be a spot for people to check out the competition or their friends dueling, she thought to herself. It's also conveniently out of the way, so I don't have to push through crowds to be comfortable.

A few minutes passed, and the traffic from the shuttles had started to seep into the area. It was a rather large room over all, much smaller than a stadium, but with enough room for duels even down the corridors. Then again, Lily assumed the tournament was held in a survival format, meaning challenges could be given at any time, anywhere. The only thing she was not quite sure about was whether there was an official announcement to accompany the arrival, but she was already doubting it. There would have been one already if that was the case.

"So...who should I face first?" she wondered, glancing at the Duel Calculator she had affixed to her Duel Disk. She planned to not only count her losses, but her wins as well. For this tournament, if she won, would need to satisfy her wishes.

Kai eagerly paced and panned with his eyes gazing at the incoming traffic of duelists, his duel disk was already attached to his arm, his Deck in place, now all he needed to wait for is "him". "That kid." Kai thought to himself. "The only presence ive to be anywhere near that strong was my father, when he dueled, this kid shared the same qualities for dueling my father had, and for that i shall regain them but i getting rid of the "doubt". Kai's eyes suddenly widened as he saw a boy walking towards him, it was Akuri. Kai pointed one finger forward at the incoming Akuri. "Akuri!" Kai called. Kai smirked lightly. "You will be my first opponent, right here, and right now, am I right?"

Strata looked around for someone to duel. He noticed a boy runnin around. He seemed to be looking for or at something or someone. "Huh. He seems a little jittery. Might as well." Strata walked over to the boy. He "Hey, you feel up to a duel? You're here for the toirnament, so let's get it started. Am I right?" Strata asked the boy. Strata noticed he had a small device on his belt. "Who is this guy...?" Strata thought.

-MEANWHILE-

Leuneth looked around. He saw a small corridor to his left. There were some stairs in it. "...I wonder..." Leuneth went up the stairs. When he got to the top, he noticed Lily looking out at the crowd. "...Of all places..." Leuneth thought. Leuneth walked up to the large window. He looked down at the duelists. "...So you were here as well..." Leuneth said to Lily. "...How many of us are here...And what are their names...?" Leuneth asked.

"I assume they're all here," Lily said, without looking at Leuneth. With that speech pattern, she didn't have any trouble remembering who he was. "And I don't know their names. We all only met last night, and I didn't wait to get acquainted with them." She paused. "I have seen a total of seven of us, including myself, and confirmed the existence of several Immortals among them."

She withdrew Uru from her deck and gently stroked the card thoughtfully. "My Immortal has told me that I am supposed to be the leader of the group...that it is the leader of the Immortals. I imagine they all say that to some extent." She smiled sarcastically beneath the hood of her cloak. "No matter. I'm looking for an opponent, but I'm in no rush. You can do the same, but...try not to draw suspicion to your duels too much. We dont want a panic we can't explain."

--

"It won't be that simple," Ven mused, in response to Sven's remark. "Without directly influencing anything, the best way to prevent an evolution is to ensure its master never gets anywhere near the finals." He paused, eyeing the viewpoint. "He seems to have picked up a challenger already. We could watch the match and see his strategy...or focus on other matters. I personally would love to see how a Signer duels."

Kirin wandered around, not quite interested in dueling. "Oh well...I suppose it's time...No matter how much I hate dueling, I have to start here" Kirin thought as he attached his duel disk, a customized. He walked between two people, one of which appeared to be yelling at the other. His mark started glowing. Kirin turned to the duelist on a duel board, noticed a similar aura coming from him, then turned to the other one.

-MEANWHILE-

Nikki rummaged around in her "normal" clothes, avoiding her Dark Signer Cloak and revealing her long, blackish hair, thinking "I wonder where Lily went. I haven't seen her since I was alive... Perhaps she might be here in this tournament...too bad we're not exactly part of the same world anymore" Nikki sighed, taking out her dragon-like Earthbound Immortal. "Well, I suppose I should start looking around for an opponent" she thought, as she moved on. She approached the two figures in hoods. "Hmm...they're all here as well" Nikki muttered as she approached them silently. She turned to the one holding up a card. "So, where should we start?" she asked, darkly.

Lily blinked when the voice of the other female Dark Signer sounded from behind her. "For now, wherever you wish," she replied, turning partway to face the speaker, at the same time ensuring no one would be able to be eavesdropping from the stairs without being noticed. "We haven't found specific targets yet because everything just started. My policy for now is simple: Don't do anything to draw undue attention. You can face whoever you want, but preferably not allies. Try to learn who might be one of our Signer adversaries, and if you do know, report back."

She paused. "I seem to have misplaced your names."

"That's because I never told you" she said, approaching the hooded figure. "My name is Nikki...though it's probably best if you keep that quiet..." she explained. "Anyways, I'm off..." she said as she turned her back on her fellow Dark Signers. "Though I have more than just the Signers to target here" she thought as she started walking away. "That duel gang...is going to pay" she sneered, her first evil grin since becoming a Dark Signer. "Now, it's time we begin" she said as a card in her deck started glowing. She took it out from her duel disk and looked at it. "You'll get your chance soon" she whispered.

Leuneth turned around towards Nikki. "...Hold on..." Leuneth said. "...You...Possess the Kirin Immortal...Correct...?" Leuneth asked. "...You are a familiar sound to me...You have seen death's door...Before..." Leuneth said. "..." Leuneth thought for a moment. "...Hm..." Leuneth turned back towards the window. "...Forgive me...It is not every lifetime that you meet someone who has crossed your path before...Especially when that path is a path through death..." Leuneth said. "..." Leuneth went deep into thought.

-MEANWHILE-

Sven looked over at Ven. "You are correct." Sven said. Sven sighed. "How it releives me to say that to you. I am grateful that our future does not include anyone as naive or as foolish as the three before us. Especially your previous generation holder, Placido." Sven said. "And yet, we all had the same stories. We all were lost to a future filled with darkness. A future ravaged by war... A future of Synchro Summon..." Sven said. "...I am surprised how humanity has not yet been destroyed by Synchro Summon. To last for 2000 more years is amazing to me. However, when Momentum dropped that day, there was a delay of the future. How much of a delay it would cause, I did not expect."

"Yes...I possess the Kirin Immortal...and you are correct that I have seen death's door...though forcefully" Nikki explained to Leneuth. "Though where have I met you, I'm not aware" she pressed, turning back to the hooded figure. "About your comment...care to elaborate? I am interested as well" she said as she faced him. She tried to think back to her death. All she was able to remember was her fall down the cliff, and then...emptiness... No figure dropping down with her. "Death is cruel...it is what tears everyone apart...especially deaths which were not meant to be" she gritted angrily.

"...You seem to understand death to its fullest...You possess Greta understanding, if you understand death..." Leuneth turned to Nikki once more. "...The sound of your voice is only familiar to me for one reason...You passed through death's door...I guard that door..." Leuneh said. "...I, like you, was forced into death...However...Unlike you...I came to death myself...You were pushed towards death..." Leuneth said. "...We all returned because we have something anchoring us in this dreaded world...Something we wish to accomplish..." Leuneth said. "...I returned for the sole purpose of ensuring that death remains...If death did not apply, then there would be no reason to live...Am I not correct...?" Leuneth said. He began to walk towards the exit. As he did, he said one final thing to Nikki. "...You and I will meet again at death's door..." Leuneth said. After that, he walked out of the room.

Kai continued to point towards Akuri when suddenly another boy stood in between the two, he observed Akuri and then Kai, although the duration seemed to last for a minute leaving Kai standing and pointing his finger forward awaiting a respond and inadvertably looking like an idiot. Kai stood with his msirk/confident expression but in a commical matter. He suddenly gained a comic burst of anger as he looked down and then up calling "Hey kid out of the wa-" kai stoppedin his tracks as he had sensed sloemthing form this kid as well just like from Akuri. "What the..." Kai thought to himself. "H-Hey kid mind stepping aside I'm about to challenge him." Kai observed the boy for a moment, "what is it with the duelists here?" Kai questioned as he lowered his arm finally.

Akarui was about 20 paces from the person in front of him and Kai. He stepped on the back of his board and started to slow down, but when it was at a 45% angle, Akarui suddenly shot up and jumped over the other person. He landed in front of Kai with his Duel Board in hand when he landed. It was clearly visible that his Duel Board had boosters on the back. "I accept your challenge." Akarui stated, the talons on his Duel Disk shot out and was now Duel-Prepared.

Katsuya had heard about the tournament and wanted to join. For the main reason being he wanted the Kaiba family to be remember throughtout all history.
"Mr. Kaiba, your shuttle will be ready soon. Be sure to have your things ready" Said Crowley, Head of Security.

As he takes a final sip of Red Wine, he lets out a subtle laugh. "Thank you Crowley, but first get the elevator ready so I can visit the vault."
"Right away, sir.

As Katsuya was going down in the elevator, he remembered this was his first time being down inside the vault. He had heard legends of what was kept in there. But never had a straight up answer. Now was the time he was going to reveal what was kept. He exited the elevator and came to the door. Placed his hand on the scanner. "Thank you Mr. Kaiba." was heard from the machine. The vault slowly opened. And right there, covered in a glass case with a spotlight shown onto them, stood 3 cards. Seeing that, he knew what it was. The 3 legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon's!

"So this is what has been kept down here for so long. Now I have a feeling everyone will feel the wrath of them once again!" Katsuya added.
He placed the cards on top of his deck and walked out.

LATER...

Katsuya was on the private shuttle awaiting the arrival at the Space Station. He could see it in the distance though. As he looked down at the 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragon's that were kept in the vault below Kaiba Corp Headquarters, he smiled and began to feel a presence with him. Without noticing they had docked a few moments ago. He got interuptted from his gaze by Crowley.

"Sir, we have arrived."

"Excellent." Katsuya let out a grin as he stepped out of his shuttle and into the Station. With other's looking at him, they gave him a surprised look. They have never seen a Kaiba duel in ages. Not since the humiliation at Battle City. Katsuya thought, Awesome, I'm going to give everyone an experience that they will never forget!

Dante was getting impatient being the first one to declare a duel would attract unnecessary attention how ever. A man walked up to him and began to ask questions, "Yes I am here for the tourn-," Dante stopped mid sentence he remembered his face from Seriphs files, "I am sorry I have plans at the moment". Dante cursed under his breathe he was anxiousness but didn't want to start, just then he noticed a duel starting, "uhh, good enough for me." He walked over closer to Zero then put on a fake smile, "Hello my name is Dante. I hate to sound aggressive but would you accept a challenge to a duel? However i would prefer we move into an adjacent hallway if you agree". Continuing his smile we motioned Zero and walked into one of the more empty hallways.

Meko had seen about a dozen people walk out of the shuttle docking bay and began to head to the upper deck and see if anyone was dueling. When he got there he saw a young girl standing at the other end of the station, And his mark began to go off. He decided to get closer. He realized it was the girl from the night he was duel the other dark signer. He got about five feet away and pulled his hood out of his bag. "Hey aren't you the girl from the night before the shuttles lunched?" He asked as he showed his hood and the put it back in his bag. "If you are may I see your mark and card?" He questioned as he shuffled through his deck and then put his hand on his wrist.

Rori had gotten off the shuttle and put her wings on and decided to see if she could find any victims to tourcher. As she walked around she found many people dueling but onone she would like to challenge until she saw a man wearing a cape and hood. “Hey you duel me now!” she shouted and pointed to the man.

Kai smirked wildly and clenched his fist, "then lets give it all we have!" Kai called as his dueld isk performed the nesecary preparations, a clear 4000 (or 8000?) life pnts became displayed in front of him. "duel!" Kai called as he drew 5 cards and prepared to draw a 6. "I hope you don't mind," Kai then drew a card for his turn. "Draw!" Kai observed the cards in his hand.

Lily spared the one addressing her a single glance. "For me to know that, I'd have to be reminded who you even are," she said with subtle sarcasm. She straightened up, but did not make eye contact. "And whatever you mean by 'mark' or 'card' should be more specific in the event I simply don't recognize you, but can comprehend what you're talking about. And if it's secret enough to not speak of specifically, you should probably keep it that way by not approaching people you vaguely recognize and asking them about it."

Nevertheless, she flashed Uru's card to him, but not the Spider Mark. The Immortal was proof enough.

As the duel began, anyone around Kai and Akarui was moved by 10-20 paces and glass walls surrounded the two. "Hm, not bad KaibaCorp." Akarui stated as he drew his card. [LV6 ATK: 2300] "Metal Warrior LV6! Attack his monster! Go! Dark Slash!" Akarui declared, the snake-like arm first wrapped around the monster. The three tendrils followed, about to stab the monster.

Gabriel was amusing himself, watching the people. He needed to find some excellent prey. He needed to figure out what to do for that. He grinned to himself, today would be fun and interesting. He needed to begin working now though. But then, he saw a familiar face. Oh, many knew Katsuya. Many might also remember Gabriel. He never got the chance to duel Katsuya himself, but his days on the Dueling Circuit were well documented and well known to anyone on it. He grinned to himself, he would finally get the chance. After all, what better way to entice the attention of his prey than to take on the most known one of all. More importantly though, to re establish himself to his former reputation as the Rabid Wolf of Dueling. Surely at least someone would remember him from his time, why not it be a Kaiba perhaps?

"Well, well, well. A Kaiba graces his arrogance to this tournament. Isn't it a bit....low-tech for you? But, where are my manors. I am Gabriel Unaga, I am....hehe....The Rabid Wolf.....And if you have any of the stones you and your family claim to possess, then refusing this challenge isn't an option, is it? Hehehehe.....Or perhaps......you remember what I'm...hehe....capable of....and it's already got you shaking with fear! Hahahahaha!"

Gabriel said as he licked his lips while getting his duel disk ready. The Kaiba's had a fatal flaw of arrogance, so blatantly challenging could entice what he wanted. For now though, he just wanted to go and have fun toying with him. How joyous it would be indeed.

"Hey, that's fine. Go ahead." Strata said to the boy. "Well, bye." Strata walked off to find another opponent. "Huh. Tough crowd, I guess. I haven't found an opponent yet... Well, there's still plenty of time, so I'll keep looking." Strata thought.

-MEANWHILE-

Leuneth turned around as he had heard someone challange him. "...Very well, if that is the path you have chosen..." Leuneth said. He pulled out his Duel Disk, put it on, and activated it. Suddenly, a glass wall surrounded Rori and Leuneth. "...I'll take the first move..." Leuneth said as he drew his five cards. "...I draw..." He drew his sixth card. "...I set two cards...And summon Infernity Necromancer..." Two card holograms and Infernity Necromancer appears in front of Leuneth. "...By his effect, he is switched to Defense Mode...Turn End..."
