LiAM
I wouldn't say Green Day and MCR are Punk, they're a genre descended from Punk, but mainly they're stereo-typed as 'emo' music. Punk would be 80's style like The Sex Pistols, where it was really real punk, about anarchy, rebellion etc. Some of my music descends from punk, but not in metal form, mainly Techno/Aggrotech. Suppose you could say Combichrist are the biggest 'Punk' band among the Aggrotech scene. But as for generic Punk bands, you've chosen quite a bit of mainstream bands, you know of any that are like, underground? Not so many fans, ones that share a real new punk feel? Shrekstasy
I've been listening to a bit of the Casualties, Anti-Flag, and Dropkick Murphys lately. I suppose they count?
