Team Pokemon vs Team Disaster! (IC/Always Accepting via OOC)

(OOC: We are heading to the Johto first, so Team Disaster will be going for the Johto Legendaries. The leader can take it from there.)

Ashmin glanced quickly through the multitude of files. "Being a leader is so hard!" She complained softly. "If it weren't for a good cause, I'd demote myself to get rid of this bothersome paper work!" She set the large file down, and picked up another. It contained newspaper articles involving pokemon kidnaps and that sort of things. "Team Rocket attempt to catch Pikachu fails....How many times has that happened? Team Rocket strikes again... And it'll keep happening. Team Disaster launch first strike.... Finally, what I wanted to see!" Ashmin read quickly through the newspaper article. "So, Team Disaster intend to strike the Johto legendaries first, huh? That means Team Pokemon should get on their way..." She closed the file. "I'll go tell them to be ready to head to the Johto immeaditly.

[Zextra]

Asuka appeared in a flash in front of Ashmin's desk. "Well, you seem busy" she said almost teasingly. Then, she reverted back to her "serious" personality. "Anyways, have you found out anything about Team Disaster?" she asked, approaching the piles of newspapers scattered around the room. "If you need, I can go track them and take a look around" Asuka offered, glimpsing at one of the countless "Team Rocket Fails Again!" articles. "I think I have a lead on one of their headquarters" Asuka explained, getting back on topic. "If I'm correct about this, I think they would be located in a secret chamber near Mt. Mortar" Asuka said to Ashmin. "though there's a possibility that there's another one somewhere near the Whirl Islands, which would make sense, considering they're after the legendaries. I mean, Lugia lives right there!" Asuka explained.

Ashmin looked up, interested. "Whirl Islands is too obvious, most likely. If I were Team Disaster, I would hide somewhere nobody would expect me to be, like Mt Motar. But, you can never be to sure." She rose to her feet. "All I can say is that they are definitely in the Johto, according to this article." Ashmin said, pointing to the Team Disaster article. "Unfortuanately, other than that, it doesn't provide much help on the matter. But in any case, we need to alert the team members that we are heading to the Johto. I will go tell them. If you want to, you can search for Team Disaster's base, just be careful. They are deviuos, and strong. Be on your guard." With that, Ashmin left the office.

"Of course" Asuka said, reassuringly, as she "teleporting" out of the room. She headed for the nearby forest, and ran through it, dodging branches and roots. She hopped onto one of the trees and started jumping from tree to tree. Eventually, she reached the harbor. She boarded a ferry to Johto and planned out an infiltration plan. She took out the article. "Johto, huh..." she thought, glaring at the picture of several members dressed in their Team Disaster uniforms. "They won't be here for much longer" Asuka said to herself as she entered a room. She changed, putting her Team Pokemon uniform aside as she put on "normal clothes", consisting of a pair of jeans, a tank top, and a vest.

[Jolta]

So, here we are, just outside the HQ of Team Pokemon. Someone's getting pepped up for some training.

"Alright now, Sparks, used Charge Beam on Beautifly! Now Beautifly, dodge it!" An eel-like creature shot an electric blast directed at what seems to be a 'Monarch' Beautifly. A blonde-haired girl was commanding her Pokemon to do stuff.

This is Samantha Sparks, age 15. Right hand woman of leader of Team Pokemon.

"Beautfly, you are very unique on the outside, thus that makes a drawback for actually being weaker than an average Beautfly of your level. But I'm confident in you! I have faith in you..." Samantha told her Beautifly. Her Beautifly simply smiled.

"Now Jolta, Electron, step in!" A dog-like creature jumped up from behind her and landed on the ground. She then threw a cube on the ground. From it came out a Zebra-like creature. The cube returned to Samantha's hand. "Electron, first use stomp on Jolta!"
The Zebra-like creature galloped towards the dog and placed one of its four hooves on it.
"Now Sparks, use Charge Beam on your other two friends!"
The eel-like creature released electromagnetic waves at the Zebra and Dog. The dog, feeling in pain after the stomp, felt as if nothing bad happened. The Zebra simply took the attack.
"OK, Jolta, use Dig on Sparks!"
The dog dug underground, and attacked right below the eel, but the eel hovered in mid-air, and thus dig had no Effect.

"OK everyone, that's all for today. Return to your Pokecubes. Now, lets report to Headquarters..."

That was where she went. She hovered beside Ashmin, with her special Beautifly on her head, and her Jolteon, Jolta, beside her.

"Ma'am, did Team Disaster strike again?" Samantha inquired Ashmin, awaiting a reply. "They strike Johto, huh?"

"Ma'am, did Team Disaster strike again?" Samantha inquired Ashmin, awaiting a reply. "They strike Johto, huh?"

Ashmin nodded to Samantha. "Ah, Samantha! Just the person I needed to see. Indeed, Team Disaster has begun their stealing game in the Johto. I was coming to tel you this, since we will be departing for the Johto quite soon. The sooner, the better, infact." She pulled out a time table and studied it. "A ferry leaves for the Johto soon, we should get on that. We need to take all the necessary equiptment, and we need to work out where to make base over there." She pocketed the time table. "We should get to work on this immeaditly, since every moment we waste gives Disaster more time to snatch." Ashmin walked back into the office, and put all the files in bags, along with some spares, in case something BIG came up in the Johto. "[i] Best get this done quickly, if we waste to much time, Team Disaster will kidnap a pokemon before we get there." Ashmin thought, pocketing the file full of articles.

[Jolta]

OoC: Sorry my mom ordered me to exercise. Yes, I'm THAT unhealthy. OK, not that unhealthy, just a lil'.

"I'm ready, anytime ma'am." Samantha said assuringly. "I'll be right back..."

Samantha left the room, she put on her usual outfit and tied up her hair into her usual style. She packed her bag with equipment and perishables. And money, lotsa money. Soon, she went to Ashmin, fully geared up. "I am so ready for this," she said, with her Beautifly on perched on her head, and Jolta standing beside her. "Race you to the docks ma'am!" She dashed out of headquarters, faster than a Jolteon using Quick Attack.

Well, the good trains, so does the evil...

Samantha has a twin brother, Jonathan Ragnarok Sparks. He is good, or should I say, bad enough to be classified as an evil twin.

"Alright, Rampardos, use Thunder on Joltrina!"
The dinosaur-like creature attacked the female dog with a bolt of blue lightning. The female dog was hurt.
"Rampardos Double Team! Joltrina Agility! Now Ariados, string shot!"
What seemed to be a humongous Black Widow Spider launched a spiderweb at breakneck speed, aimed at the dinosaur and dog. But it missed due to the high agility and evasiveness.
"Now use Spider Web!"
This time, the giant grey dinosaur and the yellow dog were captured by giant spider webs.
"Release them!"
The spider-like creature released its 'victims'.
"We've learnt a lot today, haven't we? Lets return to headquarters. Our leader must be awaiting us. Ariados, you must remember that strategy. We need it to slow down Team Pokemon in their tracks..."

Ashmin laughed. "Your on!" And began to sprint towards the docks, laughing. "[i] I haven't had this much fun in a while![/i]" She thought happily, still running. Ashmin decided that sometimes, being the boss wasn't SO bad. As her black hair whipped around as she ran, Ashmin pondered some things, also in a way talking silently to herself. "[i] Why did Father join Team Disaster all those years ago? He had the best family, at least from my perspective. A loving wife, a daughter who loved him, yet he went and spoiled everything.[/i]" Ashmin then dug back into deeper memories. "[i] Was he to blame for Azuki's dissapearence? After all, he was acting suspicious around her dissapearence. But that doesn't make sense either. True, he was sworn to secrecy about her existence, like me, but seoiously, why does he have to kidnap her or whatever? Nothing Father did make sense. But maybe they will soon.[/i]"

[Jolta]

Samantha, on the other hand, was thinking about a relative too, but differently.

[i]"Jonathan may have done many sins, but I know, I just know, he would never commit a crime THAT big. Oh well, I expect to see him there, I'll beat him for sure..."[/i]

Samantha almost tripped over a pebble and almost lost her balance. But she gained her balance again. This gave time for Jolta to catch up with her and for her Beautifly to get off her head after feeling a little giddy. Samantha continued running.

"Jolt?" Jolta inquired Samantha about what she was thinking about. "Of course not," Samantha replied as her eyes twitched. Jolta just knew she was lying. He could tell.

Meanwhile...

"Now friends," Jonathan said to his Pokemon,"let us inquire the boss about our next mission. I think its to... Johto. We should pluck some Apricorns while we're there! They must be delicious." He arrived at Lance's door and started knocking it. "Boss! Its your right-hand man Jonathan Ragnarok Sparks! I'm here to obtain my next mission sir!"

[Mr. Hyde]

Lance was taking a stroll outside Team Disaster's HQ building. Porygon - Z was also out of it's pokeball floating around on the ground. "Oh Z, this world is gonna be perfect when i'm in control don't you think?" Porygon just started bouncing around on the magnetic fields it used to hover.
"Pory!"
"Yeah, i know right. My plan is super secret, so don't tell anyone okay?" Porygon nodded. "Well time to go back inside. I have to brief my two advisors on what's going down." Porygon-Z nodded and clamped itself onto Lance's back. As he was strolling through the building he greeted all of his fellow members. Then a huge grunt approached him.
"WHY ARE YOU LEADER!?!? You're just an immature brat!" The spectators gasped. No one talked to Lance like that.
"I will have to disagree on the brat part, but i'm no giovanni, i like being nice...yet evil at the same time. Weird huh?" he said rubbing the back of his head and smiling.
"Well i've had enough! Go! Honchkrow!" A honchkrow appeared and gave a squawk.
"Oh my...Z want to help me out?" The Porygon disassembled itself and reassembled itself onto the field. "Discharge!" The Porgon-Z shot a bolt of Lightning that exploded on contact with the Honchkrow. "Now take him to the prison cell." Two more huge grunts picked the other one up and took him somewhere downstairs. "I'm sorry you all had to see that...but back to work now, we have big plans!"

[Time Psyduck]

"So the other Magnemite in Kanto had that softer metal as well, huh? Well that explains how no-one realised they were part steel-type for so long." Terry was sitting back in his chair, a journal open in his hand, which he was engrossed in. Sometimes he found the lack of research facilities in the headquarters to be annoying, since it limited what he could do and still keep what there was - and his time - free for whatever the rest of the team needed him to do. He glanced up at the computer next to him, and checked it. To his surprise, he found that the team was supposed to be moving out to Johto, now. He sighed, and began to put everything away and switch off the computer, before pulling off his labcoat and changing into his outdoor gear. He walked out of the small laboratory, picking up a pre-prepared pack from the corner and swinging it onto his back as he locked the door.

He walked out of the door and reached for one of his pokéballs. [i]Since they've already left...[/i] "Flygon," he called, "we need to head to the harbour quickly." Understanding, the dragonfly-like creature lay on the ground, allowing it's trainer to mount it. Flapping it's wings, the Flygon lifted off and accelerated towards the harbour, Terry's coat flying out behind him in the wind. Due to the pokémon's speed, he soon caught up with Ashmin and Samantha running in the same direction. Flygon swept past and turned around, drifting backwards to allow Terry to be face to face with the girls.

"Good morning, miss Faretuyo, miss Sparks," he nodded in greeting.

Ashmin stoped as she noticed Terry in front of her. She smiled. "Good morning Terry. We are just on our way to the ferry which wil take us to the Johto. Apparently, the Johto is Team Disaster's first destination, so it simply must be ours as well, since we intend to stop them kidnapping legendaries." Ashmin hid a sheepish grin. "Samantha and myself were racing each other to the docks, a bit of simple fun." "[i] And me thinking about my father and Azuki.[/i]" Ashmin was tempted to add, but didn't. "[i] Nobody knows, and nobody needs to know.[/i]" She thought to herself.

[Jolta]

Samantha too, stopped. She shivered a little. Her 'Monarch' Beautifly was simply perched on her head. Due to Samantha feeling a little frightened by Flygon's high agility, she was about to scream, until Beautfly covered her mouth for her. "Beautfly!" The orange-and-black-winged creature smiled at Flygon and Terry. Her Jolteon, Jolta, too smiled. "Jolt!"

"Let's get to the ship, fast. The harbour's that way. So, Terry, how's life?" Samantha said in her usual, high-pitched, cute-sounding voice.

"Of course, Joltrina," Jonathan said, "we may have a chance to meet my twin sister. A battle with me is a good and challenging boss battle! For I am a high rank. She is bound to lose to a high ranked member like me!"

"Jolt..." His Jolteon, Joltrina, said sheepishly.

"Good point, she is the same rank in Team Pokemon. She too is the leader's right-hand person! I've always won her since childhood. Even when you were an Eevee who only knew Growl and Helping Hand! This was how weak she was! Ariados! Remember, Spider Web once you see any Team Pokemon member! Oh look! Here comes the boss! Morning sir!"

[~ Dākunaitomon ~]

Jake walked up to the team pokemon base *gulp *sigh "I don't think they're here." Jake then reached into his hand and took out one of his pokeballs "Go Typhlosion!" "BAKU!!!!" "Ty what do you think are they gonna accept me?" Instead of replying Ty went for what looked like Jake's crotch but was his pokeballs. "Ok I'll release everyone else. Come out EVERYONE!" "GYRA!" "LUCAR!" "META!" "TYRA!" "DRAA!" "ok what now Ty?" Ty still didn't reply and him along with all of Jake's other pokemon fled toward the dock. "Hey what the He Wha?" Jake then looked at gyrados trying to bounce toward the dock. "oh no you don't! Return!" "Gyraaa" "Hey! Guys what the heck!!! What wait..." Jake finnaly got everyone of his pokemon excluding Ty and looked at who were going toward a Ship with the team pokemon Insignia emblazed on the hull. "Ahh this is what you meant...Excuse me miss(Ashmin)"

[Time Psyduck]

"Very well then," Terry replied, backing Flygon aside to allow the girls to continue. [i]I guess they still are children,[/i] he mused, coming back to the world around him when Samantha asked him about how things were going. "Well, I can't complain," he replied, "I'm still alive and in one piece, and I actually got another paper published this month. It's nothing major, and unless you're particularly interested in Caterpie development it'll probably bore you, but it's one more thing for my CV." He glanced up at the Beautifly on the girl's head as he turned back to face the direction they were heading. That Beautifly would make a fascinating study in genetics, he'd often thought, to see how it got that pattern. Now wasn't the time to ask though - maybe when Team Disaster weren't a threat, or if the girl ever bred from it.

He heard a shout from behind and glanced back.

[Jolta]

When Samantha herself turned behind, she was shivering with fear to see such 'scary-looking' Pokemon. She was about to scream once more when her Beautifly covered her mouth again before she could start. "Beau."

"Alright, chill Beautifly, it won't end up like last time!" Samantha shyly said. "Well, these are his Pokemon, very good Pokemon, very nice Pokemon..." she muttered under her breath, comforting herself.

"Jake! Come join us! We're headed to Johto by ship!" Samantha waved as she shouted.

Ashmin turned around, almost startled, at Jake's shout. Noticing it was just a team member, she relaxed, but was confused. "Why was I scared?" Ashmin asked herself under her breath. Switching again back through memories, she ended up at an out of place scene. She stopped there, watching herself and a girl similar run around a garden. "[i] Hey Ash! Wanna go play in the pool again?" Asked the girl. The young Ashmin nodded. "Sure!" The two girls, laughing, ran to the pool, and jumped in. The girls began laughing, splashing each other wih water. "Haha, your it!" Squeeled the girl, poking Ashmin's arm and swimming away. "I'll get yo..." The young Ashmin began to say, but a scream cut her off. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The young Ashmin spun around, treading water. She recognozed that scream. "Azuki? Are you OK?" She called, with no reply. The young Ashmin, looking incresingly frigthned, began swimming around franticly, looking for her friend. "AZUKI!" She screeched. A girl suddenly appeared at the far end of the pool. "ASHMIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" The girl screamed, going under. The young Ashmin gasped, and swam foward. "Azuki!!!!!!!!!!!!"[/i] Ashmin shuddered. Not the most pleasent of memories, but at least she realised why she was half-scared. "[i] Jake's scream sounded like Azuki's, in a way.[/i]" Ashmin concluded.

[Jolta]

"Ma'am, what's wrong?" She noticed something fishy. [i]"Maybe a relative of hers is part of Team Disaster too... Nah, shouldn't be a busybody."[/i]

"Looks like its time for the rest of [i]you[/i] to come out as well! C'mon out!" She threw four cubes into the air.

"Kaaan!" a coffin-like creature emerged. It was Sarcophagus, a Desukaan, Samantha's only 'scary-looking' Pokemon
"Shi!" a white eel-like creature appeared. It was Sparks, a Shibishirasu, and considered Samantha's weakest Pokemon as it was still unevolved. Ironically it had no weaknesses.
"Zee!" a zebra-like creature galloped in circles. It was Electron, a Zeburaika. Its agility was tied with Jolta's.
"Dit!" a... errr... purple blob emerged from its cube. It was Ditto, a... Ditto! It is an amazing Shapeshifter with no gender.

Sarcophagus was emerged from her coffin-like shell. She used her four limbless, ghastly arms to hug Samantha, Ashmin, Jake and Terry. "Errr... I was afraid at first too," She threw a gold nugget at Sarcophagus' mouth. "These guys love to eat Gold nuggets... and since they were once human, they are extremely friendly to humans once befriended! OK, we are here, why not we all board the ship to Johto?" Samantha boarded the ship, along with all her Pokemon. Sarcophagus managed to jump up the stairs. "Well, this ship is fine, unlike last time, its safe to board!"

[~ Dākunaitomon ~]

"Oh few I thought I would've had to ride on Gyrados *weak smile" [i]hmm are they afraid of Typhlosion? well It is the first time they saw him [b]as[/b] typhlosion and not a cyndaquil...I'll calm their nerves[/i] "Hey It alright you know" Jake said as he approached the girls. "Uh well just to let you know I guess all of my pokemon look scary to an extent even dragonite. but they are still the same "Lovable" guys right dude?" "BAKUU" Ty then strangely smelled Samantha's Beautifly "Don't worry he's just assuring you're not a threat."

[Time Psyduck]

Terry noticed Ashmin was rather startled by the shout, but he also saw that her relief came upon seeing the source - as opposed to Samantha, who seemed to be startled by the sight of an admittedly rather impressive looking team. [i]Ah, it's Jake. He's done well with that team, and I'm sure they weren't all fully evolved the last time I saw them.[/i] He was distracted from his thoughts by a ghost hugging him, which caused him to shudder, mostly because he wasn't used to being hugged by ghosts - or by anyone really, since he'd never been overly emotional.

Flygon drifted skywards, and took Terry directly onto the deck. "Thank you very much," he told the dragonfly, before recalling it to his pokéball and leaning over the railing on the edge of the deck.

[Auralady]

Lex looked over at the water from the peir with Nintails at her side. "So it's to Jhoto then? Good place to start." She tossed a pokeball into the air, "Ok Swampert let's get going!" A Sawmpert appreared in the water infront of the peir. Lex looked at Ninetails, "Looks like we'll be traveling by sea again Ninetails." "Nine!", the Ninetails replied. Lex returned her partner to her pokeball before placing hte pokeball back around her neck. She lept off the edge of the peir and landed on Swampert's back. Right away Swampert took off at a high swimming speed and soon cought up to the boat. Lex waved at the others, "Hey Ashmin! TErry! Sam!" She lept off of Swampert's back and aimed the pokeball at him, "Thanks agai Swampert. Now return." When Swampert was returned to his pokeball Lex threw the pokeball that was around her neck back up into the air. "Nine!", Ninetails reappeared at Lex's side.

Ashmin grinned. "Nothing is wrong, just thinking about something." She half-lied. She was rather surprised when Samantha's Pokemon hugged her, but got over it. She noted Jake's impressive team. "He has improved since last time." She muttered, boarding the ship. As they travelled, she heard another shout. Ashmin wasn't as startled as before. "[i] That doesn't sound anything like Azuki.[/i]" She thought, turning around to se Lex. "Ahh, hello Lex!" She called.

[Jolta]

"An impressive team, comparing to last time. 3 Pseudo-Lengendary Pokemon in one team? That's a potential power..." Samantha commented on Jake's powerful team. This was when Lex popped by.

"I think I just saw that Surf attack from that Swarmpert, Lex. That's a pretty good way to catch up with a late ship," Samantha said. Sarcophagus gave a toothy grin. Jolta and Electron simply approached Ninetales. The dog and zebra started mingling with a nine-tailed fox.

OoC: Jonathan's still waitin' for teh boss to speak.

"We've been working on it for awhile.", Lex said before looking Samantha's pokemon, "Looks like you've been working with Jolta and Electron too." She laughed and looked the three pokemon together and s,illed. 'Well well. It seems Ninetales finally got over her atitude streak.' She looked at the other trainers, "So what exactly did I miss? I know we are headed to Jhoto to stop Team Disaster but htats it. What's their plan this time? If it's changed...." Lex wanted to know everything. She had breifly looked over the files before bu tshe wanted to be sure she had her facts right.

[Jolta]

Electron simply neighed whereas Jolta barked happily, like the animals they were based on. The odd-coloured insect-like creature perched on Samantha's head simply watched the three mammal-based Pokemon mingle with each other. "Beau!" It said as it flapped its orange wings slightly.

"Well," Samantha started speaking, "Team Disaster is going to Johto to kidnap the Johto Legendary Pokemon, and worst of the worst, use their limitless powers to do horrible stuff! They are [b]very[/b] stealthy, so not much detail. I don't know. I've heard from Legend that the three Legendary Birds serve Lugia, and the three legendary beasts serve Ho-Oh. Either that or I actually mixed it up with the three Regis, which will be later in Sinnoh to summon Regigigas from a statue."

Samantha shared some more. "Celebi controls time. Imagine what it could do when- Lets be confident and not think about after effects... It'll make us lose our confidence. Now, I'm just gonna sit there and look at my map..."

Samantha was sitting down on a chair, looking at the map of Johto. [i]"Ho-Oh nestles here, Lugia lies deep in here, this forest contains Celebi, and what's this? Looks like a sacred place, but what's in it? The Embeeded Tower... Nice name. And what's this place off Johto? Sinjoh Tower? What lives here? Maybe its Legendary Pokemn external to Johto..."[/i]
