Sonic the Hedgehog: The Darkness Around Us [IC Thread/Started/Accepting in OOC Thread]

Shadow looked at the Hedgehog flying back with much content. "Looks like he was not that hard to beat." He turned his back and smirked. Shortly, he felt a huge surge of Negative Chaos Energy rushing towards him. "Oh god?!? That can't be Horus. I should have sent him into the next dimension with that attack." Shadow powered up his Chaos Energy. "Chaos....Storm!" he said sweeping his arm through the air shooting many Chaos Spears towards the negative attack.

Lance looked at the Bat drag the poor defenseless hedgehog to the bar. "Poor dude, she'll suck you dry." he said with a smirk. He elbowed another random hedgehog next to him saying, "Get it...she's a bat...and some bat's suck blood....hahahaha!' The hedgehog brushed Lance off. Lance growled and punched the hedgehog through the wall.

[color="#FF8C00"][b]Tails sunk into the back of the room as his eyes widened to Amy's outburst, "Amy! No need to scare me like that!" He was honestly drifting off a bit before that. Tails shook himself out of the scare and tried to recover from the embarrassment. he then looked out the window as they were descending, "You guys ready?"[/b][/color]

Leon just glared at Dante and Slaanesh as they walked away from him, his eyes were enraged but he got over it soon.

[color="#4B0082"][b]Dante smirked as Slaanesh took them to the bar, "Ah, I see the Lady likes to be a tad, what's the word, forward? A simple 'yes' or 'no' would've satisfied my tastes." Dante said winking at Slaanesh, "Give me whatever you suggest." he said to the bartender, he then turned back to Slaanesh "You may, order whatever you like It's on me." Now when Dante said 'on me' he meant on the house but it was because of him, Slaanesh would discover this soon enough.[/b][/color]

Sonic took a deep breath as the ship landed, and said, "Ready." Suddenly, a thought popped into his head. "Hey, wait a minute... Where's Shadow?" he asked, looking around the ship. "We must've left him at Horus' village. I wouldn't worry so much about him; he can handle himself," Eggman said. Putting his suit back on, Sonic got ready to go out the door. When the group went out, Sonic peered into the club. He noticed a hedgehog, black like Shadow (except his streaks were white), pointy chest fur, and some other features. The most shocking of all, however, was very hard to miss. In fact, it was the first thing Sonic noticed. "Hey, is it me..." Sonic whispered to the group. "or are his eyes... gone?" he finished, pointing to the hedgehog in question so all the gang could see.

Horus saw as Shadow unleashed his own barrage of Chaos Spears to counteract the strike he had launched, and honestly it made him smile. He brought his right foot back into a running stance and prepared to charge at mach speed into shadow, building up negative chaos energies in each of his palms before he took off, producing a sonic boom which tore down a vast amount of the forest around him. As he charged at Shadow, he brought his palms in front of himself, waiting until he was just about to slam into the black hedgehog and driving his hands out, attempting to strike him in the chest while at the same time he unleashed the two concentrated shots of Chaos energy with a phrase.

"Chaos Burst!"

Slaanesh was actually about to order a drink from the bar, when she suddenly heard the doors open and sensed a small amount of dormant chaos in one of the people entering. She turned around and, to her surprise, she saw an Anthropomorphic Blue Hedgehog wearing some sort of suit. She raised one eyebrow at him, keeping the interested expression on her face as she looked him up and down. After a moment, she shook her head and turned back around to the bar, smiling at the bartender.

"Just give me whatever you think is fitting for a lady."

Sonic hoped that no one had seen him, though right before he closed the door, he saw a female purple bat looking at him. He silently hoped that he didn't catch too much of her interest as he closed the door as silently as possible, leaving the group outside with nothing to do. "I sure hope that bat didn't have any ideas," he said. "What bat?" Eggman asked. "This purple bat was looking at me when I was peering into the club. I hope she doesn't plan to do anything with me," Sonic explained. "Anyway, on to another issue. We only have a limited amount of time to fix this dark energy problem. I wonder if we were the only ones who weren't... changed," he said, trying to change the subject.

Shadow smirked as his blast had destroyed the oncoming negative energy. The next thing he knew, Horus was right in front of him driving his palms into his body. "What the!?!" And inside Horus's palms was an orb of Negative Chaos Energy. The explosion shot him back flying. He caught himself by using his jet shoes to bounce off a nearby tree. "Hmph...this might not be as easy as i thought...." he said with a sigh. Shadow concentrated most of his Chaos Energy into his left palm. "Chaos....Ray!" he shouted as he shot out a yellow beam of energy towards Horus.

Lance looked at the Blue Hedgehog who entered the bar. "Huh...that guy kinda looks like me. Except i'm cooler." he said with a chuckle.

"Good topic. We'll see," Eggman said. "We should get going," Sonic said. "We'll come back once we've discovered how to cure this." "We're just going to leave?" Eggman asked. "What else can we do?" Sonic replied. Suddenly, an enormous shadow passed over all of the land. Up over the horizon was an even larger... [i]creature[/i]. It was very hard to miss. "What the..." Sonic was left speechless. The creature let out a deafening roar, followed by the words, "I am Neo Chaos!" N.C. (short for Neo Chaos) then proceeded to say, "All shall bow down to me!" "Inside the ship! Hurry!" Sonic said to the group.

Lance felt a tremendous surge rush through his body. "I've felt this before....It's like...the first time i became like this. When i turned evil. Something must be up." He got up from the stool and rushed out the door, pushing a blue hedgehog in a suit out of his way. "Neo Chaos?!" He gritted his teeth. "I bow to no man!....or Chaos Energy Manifestation!" he shouted at the beast.

Nazo, being reborn by the negative chaos wave, was walking around Mobius. "Not much has changed since i've been gone." he chuckled evilly. He then looked east. "Hm...something powerful has been awoken. I can't get a fix on that energy." He tightened his fist. "BUT NOTHING'S STRONGER THAN NAZO!!! HAHAHAHAHHAHA!." He bolted into the air and rushed towards the site of strange energy.

Sonic was pushed out of the way by the same hedgehog he noticed earlier. [i]Hey![/i] he thought. He almost shouted it, but he stopped himself. Neo Chaos looked down at the creature who had resisted him. "You [i]dare[/i] resist me?! My friend, it was the very same chaos energy that I am made of that changed everyone around you, including yourself!" he said. "Except..." he said, looking down and pointing at the group. "...for them. Tell me, how did you avoid getting changed?" Sonic was deciding what he should do. "We're not telling you [i]anything[/i]!" he shouted at the skyscraper in front of him. "Hmm... a feisty one. I'll deal with [i]you[/i] later," N.C. said, turning his attention back to the black hedgehog. His hands started glowing a black aura, and he shouted, "Chaos... Manipulation!"

OOC: Chaos Manipulaition is pretty much manipulating chaos energy.

Lance smirked. He prepared his leg for an attack. He kicked the attack right back at Neo Chaos. "You're going to have to do better than that!" he shouted. He ran closer to Neo Chaos, crossed his arms, and flung them out shooting a huge chaos blast at Neo Chaos along with the Chaos Manipulation he had kicked back earlier. The blast Lance shot shot him back through the air. "Haha! This dark energy's awesome!"

Nazo saw the scene of a huge creature. The black hedgehog attacking it had an impressive amount of Chaos Energy. "Hahaha...puny insects. They do not know what they're in for."

OOC: Y'all might think it's pointless, but I DO have a plan when I don't post as all of my characters in one post.

The second that Shadow fired off his Chaos Ray, Horus sensed two new sources of chaos energy, both of them extremely powerful. He quickly initiated Chaos Control, vanishing from his current location and appearing between Lance's Chaos Blast and Neo Chaos. Seeing the Chaos Blast rushing at him, he aimed both of his hands forwards and fired two concentrated bursts of chaos energy into the blast, forcing the side in which he had fired them to stop as the chaos energy rushed out around him and Neo Chaos. A few moments after the blast had died down, he looked lance over for a moment before deciding that while he was not one of the sources of immense chaos energy he had sensed, Neo Chaos was. The other source was still a slight distance away, and he was able to get a fix on it's location fairly easily. He turned his gaze to look over a certain white hedgehog that looked like he had some sort of foolish wings jutting out of his back. His eyes flared brightly for a moment, and he then returned his attention to Lance, charging an orb of negative chaos energy in either of his hands as he looked the black hedgehog over.

"Leave, this isn't a fight you want to get mixed up in."

"Wh- where'd Horus come from?" Sonic asked. "More importantly, why is he helping Neo Chaos? Has he absorbed too much Chaos Energy?" Eggman asked. Sonic looked N.C. up and down. "Either way, we better get going. We need to think ahead before trying to battle him," he said. N.C., of course, heard the entire conversation, along with Horus. [i]Smart one[/i], he thought, [i]But he'll never be able to vanquish [b]me[/b]![/i] Sonic, along with Eggman, climbed in the airship. "Guys, come on!" Sonic said to the group.

Neo Chaos smirked at what Horus said. "Hmm, so the white hedgehog is the smart one. Tell me, what were you like [i]before[/i] the blast?" N.C. asked.

[Mr. Hyde]

Shadow growled. "FOOL! No one leaves a fight with Shadow the Hedgehog and lives. CHAOS CONTROL!!!" He teleported to where he sensed Horus. He saw an immense beast with a huge chaos energy level, a black hedgehog, and Horus. There was another power that was all too familiar with him though. He looked up and saw the White Hedgehog. "N...Nazo.....how?!" Nazo looked at Shadow and laughed.
"Not so tough without your chaos emeralds huh?" he smirked. He transported behind Shadow and dug his elbow into his back, shooting Shadow into the ground. "How pathetic they are without their power!" Lance looked confused.
"Uhm...so you're threatning me? I don't think so bub!" Lance charged negative chaos orbs on the end of each of his fingers. "Don't ever threaten me!"

Once the group was in the ship, Eggman quickly started it. As the engine ignited, Sonic yelled to the black hedgehog, "Hey, I don't know what you're really like, but maybe we'll make great friends one day!" Immediately after he said that, the ship took off. N.C. left it alone, for whatever reason. Eggman noticed this, saying, "Strange. Neo Chaos seemed to pay no attention to us. What exactly is he planning? I get the sense that he's related to this mess." Sonic then said, "It would surprise me if he wasn't."

[i]Back with Neo Chaos...[/i]

[i]Hmm... In the midst of the battle, I can get away,[/i] N.C. thought. Luckily for him, he could think of some specific Chaos Abilities and utilize them without speech. [i]Dark Blast- Chaos Manipulation![/i] he thought. In the next second, an inconspicuous black orb formed in his now-cupped hands. It then exploded, almost exactly like Shadow's Chaos Blast. "Dark Chaos... Control!" he shouted, warping to his lair. His lair was a mountain figuratively bursting with Negative Chaos Energy. "Now I have to wait and see what my Chaos Manipulation did to them," he said.

Lance looked at the blue Hedgehog and growled. Under his breath he said, "Whatever..." When the attack was used, Lance was blasted away at the mere wave of negative energy. He bounced on the ground a couple of times before sliding on the ground. "Damn...what is that thing. Well whatever it is, it's gone." Lance got up and held his arm in pain. He popped his shoulder back into it's socket and walked back inside the bar. Nazo brushed off the attack.
"Merely an inconvenience to my power. That monster will know to fear Nazo!" Before the attack hit, Shadow made a Royal Barrier, a shield of Chaos Energy.

Horus appeared to have hardly been affected by Neo Chaos' attack, simply dusting a small amount of what looked like soot off of his white fur as he looked over the hedgehogs down below. He shook his head slightly, simply charging himself with Chaos and turning off in a direction opposite that of the city. However, just as it seemed he was going to flea, he remembered just what Nazo had said. He turned around to face the foolish looking white hedgehog, chaos still charged into his hands.

"You seem to think very highly of yourself. I can sense the chaos within you, and I assure you it is minimal at best."

Nazo's fury rised to an extreme level. Shadow looked at Horus. "You fool! You'll kill us all! Nazo is the most powerful being i have ever faced!" Shadow shivered. Nazo started charging a black aura around him.
"I can't believe you just said that to me! I am a god!" Nazo shouted as his power reached maximum levels.
"See what you've done!" Shadow shrieked. Nazo made a red ball appear in his hands.
"Chaos Torrent!" he shouted shooting the orb at Horus.

Sonic spotted a miniscule red ball in the distance. He wondered what it could be. Turning his attention away from it, he asked, "So, where are we headed?" "Back to Horus' village. Hopefully we'll find something there," Eggman replied. Sonic passed the time by thinking back to what caused all of this in the first place.

Let's see... it seems so long ago, yet in reality it's only been... what, 7 hours? Man, the things that have happened since then. The emeralds go crazy, we find out that one of Amy's friends have turned evil... I wonder if there will ever be a way to fix that. The energy wave... how much energy did that release? It must've been quite a bit to completely change a person's appearance and personality. How can we turn the world back to normal? Is it even possible?

Neo Chaos formed a laptop-like object in front of him with his Chaos Powers. "Who was hit by my attack?" he asked himself. The screen showed two hedgehogs in particular, with both of their names. "Lance and Horus? Well, they will soon [i]really[/i] know the meaning of 'force'!" N.C. exclaimed.

Lance sighed inside the bar. "God...this is so boring....i wonder what that one Hedgehog was doing here." He put his Dr. Jalapeno down and smirked. "I'll just go ask him and see, 'What's up'!" Lance teleported outside and looked in the sky. "So where'd they go?!" Lance said with a confused look. He saw the three hedgehogs who were outside were still there from earlier. "Man...those 3 guy's powers are unimaginable...i wonder what mine is. I can't really feel my own power level." A purple aura charged around Lance. "CHAOS CONTROL!" he said teleporting himself onto Eggman's ship. He charged a Purple Orb in his hands. "Chaos orb!" he said shoving it into the ship.
