Yeah, my last fan-fic got lost when my laptop had a virus. So I decided to make another one, this one hopefully ten times better than the last one. So please, enjoy!

[spoiler=Prologue][i]Different worlds, different heroes…but they all have the same goal: To help others and defeat those who shroud themselves in darkness. The worlds I talk about are the worlds of the Anime and Video Game universe, the ones where heroes have incredible strength and power. In the center of these worlds stands one world…where all the heroes come together for the greater good. But our story will not be taking place in these worlds not yet anyway. The beginning of this tale shall begin in a world far from these…a world known as Earth. And the warrior that will help these heroes with protecting the universes and the worlds, is a sixteen year old boy named Ven Hawk.[/i][/spoiler]

[spoiler=Chapter 1 - The Arrival]It was around 12:00 PM on Earth where Ven lived. He was on his laptop jamming to his playlist and talking to his best friends. Ven was a Caucasian male with light brown eyes and brown hair that he spiked up. He wore a pair of Kaki pants held up by a leather belt, he wore a blue t-shirt that was tucked in, a white button less shirt over top, and wore a pair of black Converse shoes.

He sighed and ran his fingers threw his hair, saying, “Dang, I’m getting bored over here! Right now no one is on YCM and my friends aren’t on Facebook either.”

Ven began to type up some stuff and looked through YCM’s Role Playing section to see if there was any RP’s he could post in….unfortunately there wasn’t any. He was thinking of posting a RP there, but he wasn’t having any ideas striking him right now. He sighed again and leaned back in his chair. He closed his eyes and wished he could do something fun for a change. Sure he was alright with watching YouTube, but most of the Anime he watched he finished watching, especially “Katekyo Hitman Reborn!”….which was on hiatus.

“Man…not even my friends are on to suggest some new animes for me to watch. I can’t handle this boring crap anymore.” Ven said with another sigh. Just then, his messenger said he got a new e-mail in his inbox. He clicked his inbox and he saw it was addressed to him, but there was name on who sent it. OK, this usually means a virus…but something is different. I feel like something with this is alright, he said thinking to himself as he opened the message.

Dear Ven,
If you want to leave this boring life behind, then please take your cell phone and text “Yes” to 2713. If you want to just stay and be bored with nothing to do, then do not reply to us. But you must reply within the next 60 seconds or we will not accept your text.

“OK…that is a little creepy.” Ven said with a gulp. But he did like the sound of something being not so boring. He quickly grabbed his cell phone and texted “Yes” to 2713.

Suddenly, his phone’s screen shone with a bright white light, engulfing the entire room. Ven’s eyes were blinded and he used his hand to shield them, but then he heard strange noises around him. Soon the light faded as Ven looked around and made a discovery. He discovered he was no longer in his room. He stood in the center of a small room with chairs all around it.

Then he heard a voice say, “You must be Ven Hawk. Welcome to the Hero Corps.”

“Wait a minute…that voice.” Ven said looking at the first chair. “Y-You’re Sora from the ‘Kingdom Hearts’ series!!” It was true the person that spoke to Ven, was indeed Sora. “OK, what the heck is going on around here?!”[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Chapter 2 - A New Trainee]Ven looked and saw Sora walking towards him. He was wearing his apparel from “Kingdom Hearts 2” and he stopped and held his hand out to Ven. “Hey, you gonna lay on the floor all day?” he asked with a smile.

“Oh! S-Sorry about that...” Ven said grabbing Sora’s hand and was pulled up off the ground by hm. “OK…is this a dream or something because one of my favorite video game characters is in front of me face to face!”

Then Ven heard another voice from behind. “This is no dream, no-good Ven!” Then Ven felt a kick to his head and fell face first on the ground.

Ven slowly got up and held his face. “OW THAT HURT!!!!” he yelled. He turned and then saw what appeared to be a small infant wearing a black tuxedo, an orange pacifier hanging around his neck, black hair with two curly sideburns, a black hat with an orange ribbon around it and a small green lizard sitting on side of the hat. “Wait a sec! Y-Y-You’re…” Ven started.

The infant grabbed his lizard by the tail and it transformed into a small handgun and then shot a small red bullet passed Ven’s head, hitting a desk behind him. “That’s right, Arcobaleno and the best hitman ever, Reborn!” the infant said with a smile.

“DUDE!? That was almost my head!!” Ven said holding the side of his head, checking for blood.

Sora laughed a little and said, “Don’t worry, Reborn wouldn’t kill ya. Besides we really need you to help us.”

“Wait…what?” Ven asked looking at Sora. “You need my help…for what exactly??”

Reborn kicked Ven’s face and said, “Stop talking and listen.” He the looked at Ven and said, “There are, as you know many worlds of anime…mainly because of the many animes out there.”

Ven nodded and said, “Yeah. You’re from “Katekyo Hitman Reborn!” and Sora is from “Kingdom Hearts”…so what?”

“The thing is, Ven…” Sora said continuing from where Reborn stopped. “The heroes from those Anime worlds come here and formed the ‘Heroes Corps.’ a group to protect the worlds and the other surrounding worlds from any evil activity or anything that might harm others.”

“And this has to do with me…because??” Ven asked standing up.

Sora and Reborn both sighed and shook their heads. Then another voice was heard, “It means that you’ve been chosen to join the Corps and save the worlds!!”

Ven looked past Sora and saw a boy with blond hair, whiskers on his cheeks, blue eyes, a headband with a leaf symbol, and a black and orange jumpsuit. “Naruto Uzumaki??” he asked looking at the boy.

The boy nodded and said, “That’s me! Naruto Uzumaki, future Hokage of Konoha!!” He smirked and held a fist in front of him. Then he was brought to the ground by Reborn, jumping up into the air and flipping him. “OW!! Reborn, why the heck did you do that?!” Naruto asked.

“You talk too much.” Reborn said looking at Naruto. Then he glanced at Ven and asked, “So now do you understand why you’ve been brought here??”

Ven nodded slightly and said, “Not really…but you can explain it to me later! So do I get any awesome anime powers or what??”

Sora, Reborn, and Naruto gave an exchange of glances and Sora finally said, “Well…first we have to train you to find out what your best with. But I do know one thing…your heart is pure. So you may have a shot at wielding one of these!”

Then before Ven’s eyes, he saw Sora summon to his hand a blade which held the shape of a key. “The Keyblade…” he said awing at the blade. He smiled and said, “Well consider me on board! Looks like you all found yourself a new trainee!”

Meanwhile, somewhere deep in space, floated a large battleship. It was dark black with small windows on it. On the top it had a Jolly Roger, but it was different for most. This Jolly Roger held the Roman number “XIII” and a small design of an skull in the shape of an egg. Inside a rather large man with a bald head wearing a pair of black pants, a red doctor’s shirt, a pair of goggles, and a mustache that was on his face. He gazed out the window of the ship, until a person with a black cloak on said, “Dr. Eggman we’ll be at Planet Corps, home of the Heroes Corps, very shortly.”

Dr. Eggman turned and said, “Thank you for that update…now be gone.” He gazed back outside again and said, “Soon…soon I will control the Anime universes and all other worlds and universes with it!” The last sound, before the person closed the door, all that was heard, was Dr. Eggman’s evil laugh.[/spoiler]

Ven had stayed in a small room that Sora and the others gave him. He had just awoken and got himself dressed. He yawned and then walked out of his room. He was told the day before to go straight to the training room that was near his small room.

When he got there, he saw Naruto talking to Reborn and Sora. They all saw Ven and said, “Morning Ven! Are you ready to start your training?”

Ven nodded and said, “Yeah, I am. So who am I going to fight to start my training??” He looked at all three of them and no one answered. “Am I fighting any of you??”

Naruto looked down and said, “You’re not fighting anyone today. What you’re going to do is confront the fears you have. If you remember those Manga of my Anime, ‘Naruto Shippuden’ then you’ll remember those falls I confronted my darker self.”

“Wait, you want me to…meditate in front of those falls and talk to my darker self??” Ven asked looking at them. He saw them all nod and he sighed. “Not the training I was hoping for…but I don’t care.”

Naruto looked at Ven and said, “Well, think of this being training with me. I’ll take you to the falls and I’ll tell you what to do.” He walked into the training room and then pressed a loose brick and a secret door opened. “In here is the falls. We recreated it in likeness of the ‘Falls of Truth’, but the water is from the original falls.”

“That’s cool.” Ven said walking through the door and saw a small fall and a small piece of land sitting in the middle of the water.

Naruto walked over towards the falls and said, “Sit on that small piece of land and get ready for meditation.”

Ven knew what would happen next, but he wanted to start the training. He jumped to the small piece of land and then sat on it and began to meditate. He closed his eyes and then heard laughing. He quickly opened his eyes back up and saw someone walking out from the falls. The person looked exactly like him, but his eyes were pitch black and he had an evil grin on his face. “So...you’re my darker self??” he asked.

The person laughed and said, “Man, you’re not as dumb as you look. Yes, I’m what you would call…Dark Ven. Now get up so I can beat the crap outta you!”

Ven stood up and asked, “Any particular reason you want to do that?”

“Why?” Dark Ven said. “The reason is…everything about you makes me sick! You have friends right now, who usually never talk to you and maybe will soon turn their backs! And you’re family…they would rather spit on you than love you!!” After he said this, he rushed towards Ven and punched his face.

Ven ducked the punch and then tried to sweep kick Dark Ven. This attempt failed however, as Dark Ven jumped and evaded the attack. “They would never do that!!”

“Yeah? And that old girlfriend you liked and thought you two would be together forever…but you soon found out she just liked the stuff you gave her!” Dark Ven smirked. “With that, your hatred and sorrow grew stronger…making me like this. I’m you’re true self, so deal with it!”

Ven glared at Dark Ven and then thought to himself; [i]OK…he knows every move I know. So looks like I’m going to have to do something unlike me.[/i] He smirked and then ran towards Dark Ven and was about to punch his gut, but he jumped and gave him a direct round house kick to the head.

Dark Ven hit the ground with a loud thud. He groaned and slowly got up saying, “What in the world…was that??”

“Something unlike me, I’m fighting dirty.” Ven said running his hand through his hair. “Now, I know about all that…but I have to say that I just had to move on. I don’t even think about her anymore.”

Dark Ven flinched and said, “So, if that’s the case…why am I even here?” He then felt Ven’s hand on his left shoulder and he turned his head to look at him.

“Why? Because you are really me and I’m thanking you for your attitude for pushing me to be how I am now.” Ven said with a smile.

Dark Ven shook his head and tried to punch Ven’s face again, but Ven dodged and then hugged Dark Ven. “Don’t worry…it’s alright now.” he heard Ven say.

Ven smiled a little and then saw Dark Ven’s lighten a little and then he disappeared. He took a deep breath and then awoken from the small trance. He looked at Naruto and smiled. “It was a complete success!”

Naruto looked surprised and said, “Very good, now lets go report this to the others.” Then Ven and him went back to Sora and Reborn and reported everything that happened to them.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Target #4 (Chapter 4) The Meeting of the 10th Vongola!][spoiler=Background Music][url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVylADVHjvw"]KHR OST - Tsuna Awakens [Ven goes HDWM][/url][/spoiler]“So, you defeated your darker side?” Sora asked. “Good work. Now you’ll finally be able to train.”

Ven got very excited. He couldn’t wait to start training with the Anime heroes. He didn’t know who he’d be training with, he hoped it was with Sora first. The only reason he wanted to train with Sora was because he wanted to gain the Keyblade. “So who do I train with first?” he asked with a smile.

“Well” Naruto began. “You get to train with...” He didn’t finish his sentence because he was cut off by an annoying voice.

“R-Reborn! There you are!!” the voice said. Everyone turned around to see a fourteen year old boy walking towards them. He had spiky brown hair and hazel eyes. The clothes he wore was a orange and white hoodie with a skull symbol at the left of the hoodie, a grey t-shirt that was somewhat visible from under the hoodie, a pair of black jeans, a pair of black Converse like shoes, and had a ring on the middle finger on his right hand.

Reborn looked at the boy and said, “Oi, Tsuna! What took you so long?”

Tsuna scratched the back of his neck and said, “S-Sorry. I couldn’t find my way in this place.” He looked at Ven and asked, “Oh…must be a newcomer here. I’m Tsuna, Tsunayoshi Sawada.”

“Yeah I know who you are.” Ven said with a smile. “You’re the tenth Vongola boss and Reborn over here is your home tutor.”

Tsuna’s jaw dropped and said, “H-H-How did you figure all that out?!” Then he was punched in the gut, by Reborn. “Ow! Ow! Ow!”

“I told you before; information gathering is a basic thing for all hitmen.” Reborn said. “Apparently you need to have that lesson over again, No-good Tsuna.”

Sora looked at Tsuna, Reborn, and then Ven. He smirked and said, “Alright Ven. I just figured out who you’re training with for now. Reborn, if you don’t mind, I want you and Tsuna to train him.

Tsuna looked at Sora and asked, “What?! I can’t train anybody!!!” Then he was kicked in the face by Reborn.

“Keep quite Tsuna.” Reborn said. He looked at Ven and said, “Alright then. Ven you’ll be training with me and No-good Tsuna.”

Ven nodded and said, “OK then!”

Reborn then lead Tsuna and Ven to a small training room and said, “Ven, you’ll be fighting Tsuna.” He then tossed Ven a katana and said, “Use that to fight.”

Ven unsheathed the katana and said, “Sweet blade!”

Tsuna sighed and put on his two pink mittens with the number twenty-seven on it. He took two blue pills out and then swallowed them. Soon his eyes changed from hazel to orange and his mittens changed into gloves with a blue gem on it. Suddenly, on Tsuna’s forehead, an orange flame appeared.

“Wow…Hyper Dying Will mode in action.” Ven said with a smile. “OK…hopefully I won’t die.”

Reborn looked at Tsuna and then at Ven and said, “OK …begin!!!”

As soon as Reborn said that, Tsuna pointed his X-Gloves to the ground and then flames shot out as he flew towards Ven. Ven rushed towards Tsuna and then slid on the ground to evade Tsuna. Then Ven quickly got up and tried to hit Tsuna with his katana, but he saw Tsuna dodge the attack.

“Nice try, Ven.” Tsuna said as he punched Ven into the ground.

Ven slowly got up and said, “Not a bad punch.” He looked at Reborn and then gripped the hilt of his katana and rushed towards Tsuna and was about to hit him, but he spun around and got behind Tsuna and then slashed his back.

Tsuna was hit back and then did a front flip and then got up and held up right hand behind him and left hand in front of him. “Operation….X!” he said. Soon there was a light orange flame behind him and his left hand began to glow.

“W-Wow…” Ven said watching this. “It’s the X-Burner!!!”

Reborn looked at Ven and said, “Oi Ven! You shouldn’t just sit there in awe, unless you want to be barbeque move!”

“Oh right!” Ven exclaimed as he was about to move, but it was a little late.

Tsuna smirked and said as he heard his small headphones say, “Gauge Symmetry!” His left hand was pointed straight at Ven and he finally said, “X-BURNER!!” Soon the pent up flames that Tsuna charged up in his left hand finally fired at Ven.

Ven gulped and said, “N-Not good..” He shook his head and said, “C’mon Ven…hold it together!!” With that Ven closed his eyes and thought about how to block the attack. He could only think that another flame attack would work. He sighed and said, “Reborn…mind if you shooting me with that Rebuke Bullet??”

Reborn smirked a little and then grabbed his lizard’s tail and it morphed into a gun. “If you know what you’re getting into.” he said as he shot the bullet straight at Ven’s forehead.

Ven fell backwards and an orange flame, resembling Tsuna’s appeared on his forehead. Then his eyes went from light brown to light orange.

“Hm...seems like he evened the playing field.” Tsuna said as his blast reached him. But surely enough no damage was done to Ven, because his blade was covered in orange flames and cut the X-Burner in half. “T-That was just like Yamamoto’s sword!!” he exclaimed.

Ven stood there, in his newly gained Hyper Dying Will mode and said, “Now what…Tsuna?” He rushed towards Tsuna, about to strike, but he fell on the ground and collapsed. The flames on his forehead died off and he returned to normal.

Reborn sighed and said, “Apparently he forgot about the side effects of the Rebuke Bullet.”

“Yeah. I couldn’t move for a few weeks because of that much pressure.” Tsuna said, as he reverted back to normal.

Reborn turned away and said, “Oi Tsuna! Take Ven to the medical room so he can recover.”

Tsuna nodded and he grabbed Ven, picked him up, and then brought him into the medical room.[/spoiler]

Tsuna and Reborn finally put Ven in a medical room left him there to rest. “Looks like we’ll have to do some more training on him, right Tsuna?” Reborn asked.

“Seriously? I told you before, I don’t want to train anyone and I don’t want to be a mafia boss!!” Tsuna complained.

Reborn kicked Tsuna’s face and said, “Quit whining.” Then the two of them went off to tell Sora about Ven’s training.

Meanwhile, Ven continued to rest in the medical room. He fell into a deep sleep and then awoke in a dream world. He looked around and saw a grassy field with a blue sky overhead. “Hello? Anybody here??” he asked as he looked around.

No one answered, it was just silent. Ven shrugged and then walked off and went to look for someone to talk to. Soon the scenery changed from blue skies and green grass, to pitch black. Ven stopped and couldn’t see anything past his face.

Then he heard a record scratch and then saw a few spotlights turn on and point at a stage. “What in the world??” Ven asked as he looked at the stage. Then he saw something very weird to him. What he saw was the entire Organization XIII on the stage and then music was starting to play. Then he saw all thirteen members dance to the song, which happened to be *NSYNC’s “Pop”.

Ven’s eyes twitched and said, “Why the hell is my moms *NSYNC CD playing?!” He wanted to look away, but everywhere he turned he saw Organization XIII dancing and singing the song. “AHHHHHHH!!!!” Ven yelled as he ran away.

He ran off and then fell into a small hole and saw a red floor. The floor was moving and there was steam coming from it. Before he knew it, he was heading towards a sea of lava. He closed his eyes and hoped he didn’t hit it, melt, and die. He opened them and then saw him back at the small grassy field again. “OK…this is becoming a very weird place.” Ven said as he slowly started to stand up. “If I ever see that again…I think I’ll vomit.”

“Well at least it wasn’t them doing the Caramelldansen.” a voice said behind Ven.

Ven quickly looked behind him and then a talking animal. It wasn’t a normal animal, but it was a blue furred, long legged, anthro hedgehog. “OK, why is Sonic the Hedgehog here??” he asked.

Sonic shrugged and said, “Dunno. It’s your dream so maybe you were thinking of stuff. And suddenly ‘POOF’ I’m here.”

“Well, I didn’t think of that weird Organization XIII dance number.” Ven said with a shiver. “That was just scary beyond all reason.”

“Tell me about it.” Sonic said with a chuckle. “But there is a reason you came here. And I’m here to tell you why your actually here in the Corps.”

Ven heard this and said, “Well tell me already!!”

Sonic nodded and said, “Well, you must already know about all the worlds out there. Well, there’s another group coming to Planet Corps and if they reach here…they’ll control all the worlds in the universe.”

“What?!” Ven exclaimed. “How are they going to do that?”

“Planet Corps is created by the hearts of the other anime or video game worlds, that and the hearts of the heroes that joined the corps.” Sonic explained. “Meaning if something happens to the heroes, the other worlds will start fading.”

Ven bit his lip and said, “How can I stop this from happening??”

Sonic smirked and said, “Simple really. Just keep training under the heroes and then when they come towards the planet, you’ll defeat them. Only you can bring peace to all the worlds.” He turned away and said, “After all, you’re the chosen.”

Ven blinked and said, “Chosen what??” He ran after Sonic, but he disappeared and he was in another pitch black room. “Oh no…not again.” he said with a gulp.

Soon he saw Sonic on a stage and two other hedgehogs with him. The black and red one, on Sonic’s left side was Shadow. And the white one on his right side was Silver. The music began playing and soon Ven saw them start singing “Year 3000” by Jonas Brothers, a band that Ven disliked with a deep passion.

“No…not that song!!” Ven yelled running away. Then he saw the organization sing and dance again, like they did the first time. “OH C’MON!!!” he said face palming.

He ran away from the organization and then saw in front of him another stage where he saw Reborn, wearing a pink ballerina outfit, and began to sing “Party in the U.S.A” by Miley Cyrus. “AHHHH!!!” Ven yelled. “This is becoming a nightmare!!!”

He second he finished that last sentence; he woke up and found himself in the medical room. He ran his fingers through his hair and said, “I’m awake…good. But, what did Sonic mean by ‘the chosen’?” He grabbed a set of crutches that was near his bed and began to walk out of the room to find Sora and the others. One way or another, he was going to find out why he was here.[/spoiler]

Ven finally made it into the small meeting room that was in the building, after walking the whole way with his crutches. He walked in and saw Sora, Naruto, Reborn, and Tsuna sitting at a table. With them were a few other people as well; the first one was Ichigo Kurosaki from “Bleach”. The second one was Monkey D. Luffy, Ven didn’t know much about him, but he was told by his friends about how awesome he was.

Sora saw Ven and said, “Oh there you are Ven! You’re finally awake from that little brawl with Tsuna.”

“Yeah…but Sora I need to talk to you and the other three.” Ven said looking at Sora, then Naruto, and finally at Reborn.

Sora sighed and said, “Alright then. Everyone else, you’re free to leave.” Once Sora said that sentence; Ichigo, Luffy, and Tsuna all left the room.

Ven sat down and said, “Look…I need answers.”

“Answers to what exactly?” Naruto asked with a puzzled look.

Ven looked at the three of them and said, “Look, I just had a weird dream while I was passed out. Rather not talk about the weirdness of some of it…but I will talk about one part. I saw Sonic the Hedgehog and he told me about a few things.”

Reborn looked at Ven and then turned back to Sora, whose eyes narrowed a little. Reborn sighed and said, “Fine, we’ll talk.”

Sora pressed a button in front of him and then a screen dropped behind him. The lights in the room went out and then a projector turned on, showing a few pictures on the screen. “Planet Corps, has one downfall about it. The downside is…that if someone takes the core from it, the other worlds will start fading and the person will recreate the universe in their own image.” Sora began to explain.

“Take the core?? How is that even possible?” Ven asked.

Reborn looked at Ven and he said, “It’s possible because…it’s mainly made up of every world’s power and made into a small compact crystal. On the crystal is a small keyhole which can only be opened with a Keyblade. Unless they have a Keyblade, it’s impossible to take and release its power.”

Ven nodded and said, “So that’s why the Heroes Corps were really created. To protect the core of the planet.”
Naruto made the projector flash another picture and said, “There is a problem though, a week ago we found out that a small group is heading this way to steal the core. We don’t know what to expect, but we do know with the insignia on the flag suggests that Dr. Eggman and Organization XIII will be working together.”

Ven nodded and said, “OK…but I thought Sora defeated them all.”

“I thought so too…” Sora sighed. “But apparently, somehow they all were revived. The only one they don’t have is Roxas.”

Reborn nodded in agreement and chimed in, saying, “Yeah, so basically with Eggman and Xemnas…we’ll need all the help we can get. Sonic, Shadow, and Silver tried to stop them, but…” He pulled his hat down over his eyes and didn’t say anything else.

Ven looked at the table and said, “So…they’re gone?” He looked back up at the three and saw them all nod.

“Eggman and Xemnas defeated them…and now has the Chaos Emeralds.” Naruto said with a sigh.

Ven stood up and said, “Why do I doubt that? Sonic and Shadow won’t go down without a fight. Silver maybe, but not the other two! Now…one more thing, Sonic said I was the ‘Chosen’. What did he mean by that??”

Sora stood up and then took a deep breath and said, “It means you happen to fit some legend that a few heroes had seen.”

“Seriously?” Ven asked. “Why does this sound like some off the wall Yu-Gi-Oh! episode?”

“I know it sounds weird…but it’s true.” Sora said. “That’s why you’re training with each of us. To first test your fighting ability and second to see if you’re worthy of our powers.”

Ven looked down and then looked back at the three. “Fine then…I’ll continue training. But by the sound of it, you’ll need a lot more help. If necessary, I can find away to call one of my friends.”

Naruto cocked an eyebrow and said, “A friend? How would your friend exactly help us??”

“Simple, he knows anime like me.” Ven smirked. “My knowledge of anime only goes so far…that’s were he comes in.”

Sora thought for a moment and said, “Alright, first thing tomorrow morning call your friend and we’ll bring him here.”

Ven nodded and said, “You got it.” Right now Ven got all the answers he wanted out of the three of them for now. But now, he had to be focused on how to explain this all to his friend.[/spoiler]

The next morning Ven sent a message to his friend and asked to please hurry and return the message. Sadly to his dismay, his friend didn’t reply and he had to wait. The wait took about two weeks, but he still didn’t hear anything.

“I doubt he’ll even believe me…” Ven sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair. He walked along and heard the sound of an explosion. The sound came from a small room and as curious as Ven was, he had to go see what was going on.

Ven looked through the cracked open door and saw two teenaged boys standing there. One of the boys was wearing a blue trench coat and a pair of blue jeans. He had blue spiky hair and wore a pair of glasses. On his wrist, he held a machine which held a deck of cards in it.Ven quickly realized that it was a Duel Disk. Then he looked in the boy’s hand, he held three cards.

The one with the blue hair laughed a little and said, “That was a pretty awesome move, Aniki!”

Ven quickly looked at the other boy on the opposite side of the other one. This one had brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a pair of black jeans, a black t-shirt, and a red jacket; that similar to the other boy’s trench coat. He also had a Duel Disk, as well as a few cards in his hand.

“Thank you, Sho-chan.” The boy said with a smile. He de-activated his machine and put his cards back in a deck and in a small box. “We should duel like that more often.”

Ven then pushed on the door a little and accidentally fell into the room. Both boys looked at Ven and had curious looks on their faces. Ven smiled nervously and said, “Umm…sorry about interrupting your duel.”

The first boy looked at the other boy and said, “Aniki, who’s this guy? Looks like Tsuna…a little.”

“Yeah, you’re right Sho-chan.” The second boy said. He held out his hand to help Ven and said, “Hey there. I’m…” He was cut off from introducing himself, by Ven getting excitied.

“You’re Jaden Yuki!” Ven said with a smile. “U-Unless you go by the Japanese way, which would be Yuki Judai.”

The other boy laughed and said, “You can just call him either. He doesn’t mind it, right Aniki?”

“That’s right Sho-chan.” Judai said with a smile. He helped Ven up and said, “You can call me either name, doesn’t bug me.”

Ven dusted himself off and said looking at the other boy, “And you’re Syrus Truesdale, brother of Zane Truesdale.”

Syrus adjusted his glasses and smirked a little. He then looked at Ven and said, “Man you are good. So what’s you’re name…exactly??”

“My name is Ven Hawk.” Ven said standing up straight. “Sora and the others called me from Earth to join the Heroes Corps.”

Syrus nodded and said, “Is that a fact…well you didn’t really interrupt our duel. We finished before you walked in.”

The two of them continued talking, but Judai just stood there in silence. He then looked to his left and saw a female spirit with two bat wings, claws on her hands, and her eyes being two different colors; her right eye being amber and her left eye turquoise. She looked at Judai and asked, [i]“So you think he’ll be an interesting opponent?”[/i]

Judai nodded and said quietly, “Yeah, he seems like knows a lot about certain things. The only way to see his true strength is to duel him. And yes, I’ll need you’re help, Yubel.”

[i]“And how do you plan to duel him?”[/i] Yubel asked with a smirk. [i]“He doesn’t have a Duel Monsters deck, or a Duel Disk. How do you plan on getting him those things?”[/i]

Judai smiled and said, “I’ll figure out a way.” He saw Yubel disappear and then he walked forward in front of Ven. “Ven, I challenge you to a duel.”

“W-W-What?” Ven asked looking at Judai. “B-But I don’t have a…”

“Deck or disk, I know.” Judai said with a nod. “We have plenty of disks, you just need a deck. You can even upload a deck you have on that site we’ve heard about…umm, Yu-Gi-Oh!...Card something.”

Ven’s eyes went wide and said, “Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Maker?! I can upload them to an actual deck??”

Judai nodded and said, “Yes, yes you can. So…I’ll give you a few hours to decide and get prepared.” Then he walked off from the room.
That only left Syrus and Ven in the room. Ven gulped a little as he felt his heart racing. He was challenged by a Silfer red duelist, the best one at Duel Academia, even the one that almost bested Yugi Mouto. “What am I gonna do now?” he asked looking at Syrus, who just shrugged at him.

He slammed his hands on the desk and said, “Damn!! I can’t figure out what to use!! I’m going to lose against the best Silfer duelist and his E-Heroes!!!”

As he said this Sora walked in and said, “So, I heard you were challenged by Judai to a duel.”

“Word travels fast…” Ven said with a small smile. He then sighed and said, “I can’t use any of my cards…I’ll get creamed.”

Sora rested his back on the door and said, “Well just take you’re time and you’ll figure something out.” Soon he left the room to let Ven gather his thoughts.

Ven sighed and looked at the computer screen again and then thought of something. “That’s it!! Those three cards will work…I’ll just use a basic deck.” he said as he clicked the three cards he had chosen, waiting for them to become real.

=A Few Hours Later=

In the small Duel Arena, in the bleachers there sat Sora and the others. On the field on the side away from the door, stood Judai. He put his opened his deck box and inserted it into the duel disk. He then waited for a few minutes before he saw Ven finally run in.

Ven held a deck of cards in his hand and said, “Sorry I’m late.” He saw a small duel disk where he was supposed to stand on the field and strapped it on his wrist. He inserted his deck into the disk and then activated it. “I’ll let you go first, Jaden.” he said with a smirk.

Ven Hawk: 4000 LP
Yuki Judai: 4000 LP

“My move then.” Judai said activating his duel disk. He then drew six cards and then said, “I’ll start off by summoning E-Hero Clayman in defense mode. Then I’ll set two cards face down. Turn end.” As he made his move, a huge human-looking creature appeared and knelt on one knee and held his hands up in defense. Then two facw down holographic cards were seen on the field shortly after.
Ven gulped a little and said, “Alright…my move!” He drew his sixth card and looked at his hand. He then smirked and grabbed a card and then said, “First off, I’ll activate the Spell card, ‘Maka Chop!!’.” Then a blue card appeared and it showed the picture of a girl with a book hitting a boy in the head. “What this does is destroy all Spell and Traps on the field!” he said confidently.

“What?!” Judai said as he watched his two face down cards getting destroyed.

Ven smiled and said, “But after that, you may draw a card.” He watched Judai draw one card and then said, “Now I’ll go with Lighting Vortex, and you’re Clayman is destroyed.”

Judai just watched in silence as his defensive monster was destroyed and sent to the graveyard.

“Now I’ll summon up Luster Dragon!” Ven said placing a monster card on the duel disk. Soon a dragon covered in sapphire appeared with a roar. “Now my dragon, direct attack!!”

The dragon roared and flew towards Judai and quickly attacked him, making Judai flinch a little.

Ven smirked and said, “And with that, I’ll end my turn.”

Ven Hawk: 4000 LP
Yuki Judai: 2100 LP

Judai looked at Ven and then drew his next card. “My turn…” he said as he looked at his hand. Then his eyes turned similar to the ones Yubel had. He smirked and then said, “I use Polymerization and fuse together my E-Hero Avian and Burstrinatrix from my hand to summon up E-Hero Flame Wingman!” Soon there was a warrior with a green outfit and wings and next to him a woman with red suit. They then began to merge and then appeared a creature that was green, black, and red. His left hand looked like a dragon and he had one wing on his right shoulder.

“Oh boy…” Ven said looking at Flame Wingman.

Judai smirked and said, “Wingman, strike down his dragon!!” Soon Flame Wingman flew towards the Luster Dragon and destroyed him. “Now if you know my Wingman’s effect, you’ll see that you lose life points equal to the attack of you’re dragon.”

Ven gritted his teeth as he watched his life points go down thanks to Wingman’s effect.

“And you’re move once again.” Judai said, ending his turn.

Ven Hawk: 2100 LP
Yuki Judai: 2100 LP

Ven put his hand on his deck and said, “Come on…give me something I can work with.” He drew the card and then had a huge smile on his face. “YES!!!”

“What’s so funny, Ven?” Judai asked looking at Ven.

Ven smiled and played another card and said, “This spell is what’s funny!! I activate ‘Shinigami-Chop!!’!” Soon another spell card was seen with a weird creature with a white hand and mask and in the background a red-headed main on the ground laying his head in a small puddle of blood.

Judai looked at the card and then saw Yubel on his left side. “Well this kid isn’t half bad as I thought.” he said quietly to Yubel.

[i]“Just don’t give it up.”[/i] Yubel said with a smirk as she vanished.

Ven smiled and said, “Now I send one card from my hand to the grave and this spell card can send you’re Wingman to the grave!” He sent one card to the graveyard and then a giant hand with a white glove appeared from the card and yelled, “SHINIGAMI-CHOP!!!” Then it hit Wingman and he was sent to the grave. “Now you lose 500 life points because of it.”

Judai looked at his disk as he watched his life points drop, because of the spell.

Ven Hawk: 2100 LP
Yuki Judai: 1600 LP

Ven smiled and said, “Now I’ll just place one card face down. I’ll end my turn with that.”

Judai drew another card and said, “Alright, I’ll start by summoning E-Hero Neos Alius!!” Soon a smaller version of Judai’s ace monster, Neos, appeared.

In the bleachers, Syrus watched and said, “Looks like Aniki is gonna finish it up.” He knew most of the moves Judai would do, since they grew up at Duel Academy since their first year there.

“And with Alius on the field face up, it’s treated as Neos.” Judai smirked. Then he held another card and said, “Now I activate the field spell…Neo-Space!” He placed the card in the field spell place and soon the field became in an aurora of colors surrounding the two duelists. “Then I use Double Summon and summon up Neo-Spacian Dark Panther and now Contact Fusion!”

Soon Neos Alius and the newly summoned Dark Panther jumped into the air and soon disappeared as they used Contact Fusion, soon a warrior that looked Neos, but had black wings and claws appeared. “Meet E-Hero Dark Neos!” Judai smirked. “Now attack, Dark Neos!!”

Dark Neos moved towards Ven and was about to attack, but Ven had other plans. “Reverse card activate! Negate Attack!! For this turn, you’re battle phase is cancelled.”

Judai gritted his teeth and said, “Damn…I’ll end my turn.”

Ven quickly drew his next card and said, “Perfect, I summon up my second Luster Dragon in attack mode!” Soon another sapphire dragon appeared on the field. “But then I activate the spell I just drew, ‘The Timely Bonds’!”

When he activated the card, it appeared on the field and it showed a picture of Judai, Yugi, and Yusei each with one card in their hands. “Now…” Ven said with a smile. “I choose one monster on my field and special summon 1 Warrior, Dragon, or Spellcaster from my hand same as my selected monster, but this is a dragon, so I’ll special summon my Blue-Eyes White Dragon!!”

Soon a white dragon appeared on the field and roared triumphantly. “Now my Luster Dragon gains the attack points that my Blue Eyes has.” Ven said as he watched his Luster Dragon become more powerful. “Now his 4900 attack will destroy you’re Dark Neos with only 300. ATTACK!!”

When Ven called the attack Luster Dragon roared and flew up into the sky and then dove straight towards Dark Neos and destroyed him.

Judai flinched a little and then saw his life points drop all the way down to zero. “No…way…” he said.

Ven looked at his deck and then looked at Judai and said, “I-I-I can’t believe it…I won against Jaden Yuki!!!” He then began to celebrate as the holograms faded.

Judai smirked and said looking at Yubel on his side, “He truly is a gifted person.”

[i]“I think you were kinda cocky back there.”[/i] Yubel said with a smirk. [i]“But I digress, a good duel you put up against him.”[/i]

Judai nodded and then watched Ven as Sora and the others congratulated him.

[color=#0000CD]And here I was expecting Ven to be living on Neptune. Curse the evil prologue for not informing me where our avian hero lives.[/color]

[i]He was on his laptop jamming to his playlist and talking to his best friends. Ven was pretty much a Caucasian male with light brown eyes and brown hair that he spiked up. He wore a pair of Kaki pants held up by a leather belt, he wore a blue t-shirt that was tucked in, a white button less shirt over top, and wore a pair of black Converse shoes. [/i]

[color="#2F4F4F"]I love the use of "pretty much", which shows that Chaos Sonic shrugged when describing our hero. At least the description is better than how I would describe that abomination Roxas just showed.[/color]

[i]He sighed and ran his fingers threw his hair, saying, “Dang, I’m getting bored over here! Right now no one is on YCM and my friends aren’t on Facebook either.”[/i]

Soon the light faded as Ven looked around and made a discovery. He discovered he was no longer in his room. He stood in the center of a small room with chairs all around it.[/i]

[i]Ven looked and saw Sora walking towards him. He was wearing his apparel from “Kingdom Hearts 2” and he stopped and held his hand out to Ven. “Hey, you gonna lay on the floor all day?” he asked with a smile.[/i]

[color=#0000CD]Wait, the Sora in this story is wearing his black outfit? This story finally has something great going for it![/color]

[color=#0000CD]Well, Kingdom Hearts II is the only game where you can play as Sora in that black outfit, so it's a nice change of pace.[/color]

[i]“Oh! S-Sorry about that...” Ven said grabbing Sora’s hand and was pulled up off the ground by hm. “OK…is this a dream or something because one of my favorite video game characters is in front of me face to face!” [/i]

[color=#0000CD]No, it's real. My dream adventure would have me team up with Sora, Ratchet, and Sly Cooper as I ride my Flygon into battle to save the Jews from Hans Landa. Except Guido Orefice. He gets a punch in the face since Robert Benigni made that insulting piece of a movie in the first place, then I'll feed him to my Umbreon. But that's just me.[/color]

[i]Then Ven heard another voice from behind. “This is no dream, no-good Ven!” Then Ven felt a kick to his head and fell face first on the ground.[/i]

[color="#2F4F4F"]I applaud this mystery character.[/color]

[i]Ven slowly got up and held my face.[/i]

[color=#0000CD]Wait a minute, so we got a case of The Ishmael here? Who's the decoy protagonist here? Our Ishmael or Ven?[/color]

[color="#2F4F4F"]No, I think Chaos Sonic just put "my" when he should have put "his". My guess is that he just mixed up first- and third-person perspective for our moment. Don't ask me how one does that. Of course, he could be referring to the narrator from the prologue.[/color]

[i]“OW THAT HURT!!!!” he yelled. He turned and then saw what appeared to be a small infant wearing a black tuxedo, an orange pacifier hanging around his neck, black hair with two curly sideburns, a black hat with an orange ribbon around it and a small green lizard sitting on side of the hat. “Wait a sec! Y-Y-You’re…” Ven started.

The infant grabbed his lizard by the tail and it transformed into a small handgun and then shot a small red bullet passed Ven’s head, hitting a desk behind him. “That’s right, Arcobaleno and the best hitman ever, Reborn!” the infant said with a smile.

“DUDE!?! That was almost my head!!” Ven said holding the side of his head, checking for blood.[/i]

[color=#0000CD]No, this part is actually pretty acceptable, barring the unnecessary all-caps and punctuation. Besides, I'm not really a fan of KHR, so I can't complain.[/color]

[i]Sora laughed a little and said, “Don’t worry, Reborn would kill ya. Besides we really need you to help us.”[/i]

[color="#2F4F4F"]Yes, assuring me that a baby [b]would[/b] kill me really makes me feel better.[/color]

[i]“Wait…what?” Ven asked looking at Sora. “You need my help…for what exactly??”[/i]

[color=#0000CD]"You're a Keyblade master and a baby hitman that can turn a lizard into a gun! What could someone like me [i]possibly[/i] do?"[/color]

[i]Reborn kicked Ven’s face and said, “Stop talking and listen.”[/i]

[color=#0000CD]"I'd say that this would make me want to actually pick up KHR, but I read the first chapter a while ago and didn't really care for Reborn there either.[/color]

[i]He the looked at Ven and said, “There are, as you know many worlds of Anime…mainly because of the many Animes out there.”[/i]

[color="#2F4F4F"]"We're not going to delve into the psychological aspect of us realizing that we're all only fictional characters, so that's our explanation for the plot."[/color]

[i]Ven nodded and said, “Yeah. You’re from “Katekyo Hitman Reborn!” and Sora is from “Kingdom Hearts”…so what?”

“The thing is, Ven…” Sora said continuing from where Reborn stopped. “The heroes from those Anime worlds come here and formed the ‘Heroes Corps.’ a group to protect the worlds and the other surrounding worlds from any evil activity or anything that might harm others.”[/i]

[color=#0000CD]I have been rather curious about what would happen in the case of a Big Bad Ensemble for something like this. I mean, imagine all the different Instrumentality or destruction plots, but at least we got the heroes teaming up like this.[/color]

[i]“And this has to do with me…because??” Ven asked standing up.

Sora and Reborn both sighed and shook their heads. Then another voice was heard, “Yosh! It means that you’ve been chosen to join the Corps!!”[/i]

[color="#2F4F4F"]"Yosh?" Don't you know it's never a good thing to have gratuitous Japanese like that? Besides, why would they choose Ven?[/color]

[i]Ven looked past Sora and saw a boy with blond hair, whiskers on his cheeks, blue eyes, a headband with a weird symbol, and a black and orange jumpsuit. “Naruto Uzumaki??” he asked looking at the boy.[/i]

[color=#0000CD]Oh, this definitely solves the current topic in the Naruto thread if it took Ven that long to notice Naruto. Also, if Ven is familiar with Naruto, wouldn't he know that the symbol on Naruto's headband is a leaf?[/color]

[i]The boy nodded and said, “That’s me! Naruto Uzumaki, future Hokage of Konoha!!” He smirked and held a fist in front of him. Then he was brought to the ground by Reborn, jumping up into the air and flipping him. “OW!! Reborn, why the heck did you do that?!?” Naruto asked.

“You talk too much.” Reborn said looking at Naruto. Then he glanced at Ven and asked, “So now do you understand why you’ve been brought here??”

Ven nodded slightly and said, “Yeah…I do! So do I get any awesome Anime powers or what??”[/i]

[color="#2F4F4F"]I think it's about time I mention that you shouldn't have to capitalize "anime". There's no need to.[/color]

[i]Sora, Reborn, and Naruto gave an exchange of glances and Sora finally said, “Well…first we have to train you to find out what your best with. But I do know one thing…your heart is pure. So you may have a shot at wielding one of these!”

Then before Ven’s eyes, he saw Sora summon to his hand a blade which held the shape of a key. “The Keyblade…” he said awing at the blade.[/i]

[color=#0000CD]"I still have no idea what the hell is on Naruto's headband, but I definitely know that's a Keyblade!"[/color]

[i]He smiled and said, “Well consider me on board! Looks like you all found yourself a new trainee!”[/i]

[i]Meanwhile, somewhere deep in space, floated a large battleship. It was dark black with small windows on it. On the top it had a Jolly Roger, but it was different for most. This Jolly Roger, held the Roman number “XIII” and a small design of an egg.[/i]

[color="#2F4F4F"]This is just a nitpick, but there didn't need to be a comma after "This Jolly Roger", and it's "Roman numberal". Other than that, if I ever saw a Jolly Roger like that, I wouldn't be able to take it seriously. Not to mention that without a skull, it's just a regular flag.[/color]

[i]Inside a rather large man with a bald head wearing a pair of black pants, a red doctor’s shirt, a pair of goggles, and a mustache that was on his face. He gazed out the window of the ship, until a person with a black cloak on said, “Dr. Eggman we’ll be at Planet Corps, home of the Heroes Corps, very shortly.”

Dr. Eggman turned and said, “Thank you for that update…now be gone.” He gazed back outside again and said, “Soon…soon I will control the Anime universes and all other worlds and universes with it!” The last sound, before the person closed the door, all that was heard, was Dr. Eggman’s evil laugh.[/i]


[color=#0000CD]And that's the end of that. So unsurprisingly, we got a typical crisis crossover where our main character, a very standard guy, is somehow thrust into the problem and told to be the hero, and he accepts just because he gets to team up with his favorite heroes, completely satisfied with the vague non-responses he's given.[/color]

[color="#2F4F4F"]Plus I was expecting Tsuna and that random guy on the banner to show up.[/color]

[color=#0000CD]Did you read ahead to see if they do?[/color]

[color="#2F4F4F"]I skimmed Chapter 3, and searched for "Tsuna". No result, and I think we've read enough for today.[/color]

[color=#0000CD]I see. Well, thanks for showing up, Blake. Hopefully I'll be able to continue Phantom's Divinations with more commentary. Overall, I do think that this story is worth checking out, since it's only in the early stages and Chaos Sonic seems like he can improve this as it goes on. However, as it is, it's pretty standard and nothing special.[/color][/spoiler]
