I have no idea who or what caused this, I'm just theorizing. But, I'm theorizing based off of some stuff I've been seeing lately. For example, YCMaker has been on every day for the past week or so. Scary, isn't it? Anyway, I'm guessing that he was updating something and everything blew up. Remember, this is a guess, I have no valid proof to back it up. It could easily be (and probably is) a server issue, or a malware attack, or viruses, or a number of other things.

@Creator, probably not, but it'll make me feel better...I hope.

He may be an inactive Admin, but he does a pretty damn good server upkeep with whatever is in his abilities to do so.

Alright, alright. I'll chill since you asked so lightly ;)Anyway, I'll just take a break for a bit until the server is more functional. Might as well. Besides, aside from the occasional problem YCM does run well most of the time.

Normally when YCMaker is upgrading the site he shuts it down this way things transition nicely. So either he was making a small fix and things got real, or something is wrong with IP. Board.

And YCMaker is on, so hopefully he'll say something abut this crap. Odds are though he won't.

Yea things seemed to be fixed. Since YCMaker hasn't said why publicly and i don't see a reason whyI shouldn't say it, the language cache became corrupted.

We don't have anyone in the team who could be a decent third admin.
Most of the mods are a******s right now and if one of them gets promoted to admin status, then I leave this team or only log in with testmod or opa555.=/

The only one I could kind of imagine getting equal status to YCMaker would be Falling Pizza. But everytime something is wrong, Pizza keeps saying that it's not his fault, he can't do anything about it, just don't push the responsibility on him, ever. But fine, if he can't do things because he doesn't have the powers to do so, then give him the powers. I heard that they don't have the same amount of powers and I don't see why YCMaker won't give it to him.

And either way, even if YCMaker decided to drop his adminship, he'd still hold the status as site creator. So the one who can change "basic" things on the site, if you see what I mean. Tbh I wouldn't find it that bad if he got dropped to simply site owner and only gets to do the paying stuff because that's one of the few things he's really forced and willing to do. But I really don't see how anyone in that team of a******s should deserve to be a third admin.

Yes I'm f***ing bitter but I've been on this team for a long time and I know who I like and who I don't.

A lot of the problems have to do with stuff you can't changes. As I've said many times one of the biggest is the mod tools and that comes right from IP.Board.

YCMaker doesn't do anything. I think we were trying to make him a second admin but it just hasn't happened because, from what I can tell, only YCMaker can do it. And yea, the pm glitch is a great example since it really did take him close to 2 months to fix.

No, [i]they're[/i] back on topic. I don't know if I told you this, but after we deviated from unicorns to NASCAR, that was when I [i]legitimately[/i] dropped the debate and my argument in totality. I was actually looking forward to coming here posting about NASCAR and rainbows, and I did even truthfully denote is as fun. Until the club leaders tell me to stop, or until a mod intervenes, I still want to talk about rainbows. But if either of those things do happen, I'd have some questions about stuff...

Personally I can relate YCM to a rainbow. There are many facets to it.

So, do you ever notice that when looking at a rainbow, either the red part takes up most of the space or the purple part does? You never see a large band of blue or green, which is unfortunate. D':

This whole section is spam. Yes, not all the threads, but a good number from what I've seen and been told simply become spam threads that have nothing to do with main point of the club. That kind of thing doesn't sit right with me at all, but it would be really hard to change things. A) Where do you begin. We're talk about a whole section here and I just don't have the time to watch all the threads. I don't think it would work. Since the threads are already full of spam I don't see people fixing things on post 9001 when the of the first 9000 maybe half have something to do with the main point of the club

So theres why I don't think doing it the normal way might not work. This is why I want to do it this way. A) ATM my idea is to simply lock all clubs from the last 6 months. From there clubs that want to restart will do so under stronger rules then normal. In doing this it sends a clear message that this is a fresh start and gives them a better chance to make things better imo. It would work very well with my new idea to have all Club leaders responsible for what goes on in their club. If their club becomes full of spam they will be warned just as much as the members causing the spam. This makes it so people can't just go around making clubs and gives a way to allow better control on the clubs since, one would assume, the leader would keep things

The idea started as a half joke and I've only really been thinking of doing this because some people really liked it. This club is kind of my testing ground for it as well as giving me a way to write things down before I really go "public." ATM this is still just a crazy idea but there is also a real chance of this going into step 2. That being the public poll on the idea where I can get the general member feed back as well as say if this is going to happen or not. Should this happen it won't be till the year starts.

Very basic time line I have
Nov 1st - Nov15th or 30th: Announce idea
Nov 16th to Dec 16th or Dec 1st to Dec 25th: Make poll about idea
Dec 17th or Dec 26th: Say if it's happening
Dec 31st: Should I go though with it all threads will be locked on this day

Since I'm not sure when I'm going to make the poll I added to 2 ways I see it happening. I had wanted to make it around the middle of this mont, but since that doesn't seem likely I put what would be my next choice.

You had INITIAL people who only joined this to change YCM, not as a club, tell you to do it, then you had a TON of us tell you no! How is that people REALLY liking it?

And please tell me how it's fair that only people in this club have any say about this idea. O wait, it isn't. You can't think I'm going to make such a large change and not get general feed back from every one. And I know there are problems with the voting, but 1) it is the easier to just look at numbers then count different post 2) do you really think I wouldn't be reading the thread while this is going on? If people care enough about this not happening they will post to make their voice heard. Having the poll would only give me a general idea on what people think, but text answers will count for much more.

Um.....last I checked about 5 people said no so when did a "TON" become such a small number? TBQH I don't look at names when I post but from what I saw it was only like 3-5 people that were really agains the idea. On the other side was like 2 or 3 mods (myself included) and a few other members.

Simple because a club that was trying to do something some what serious became a thread about something as stupid as rainbows, NASCAR, and unicorns. That proves things are NOT fine.

Also please tell me how it's ok for a section to allow people in a thread about YCM to talk about Unicorns when EVERY other section on the forum would have that member warned for spamming.

Pros:

All threads get a fresh start
Rules can be enforced easier
New clubs could be the next Powerforce

Cons:

Members have to restart

I don't see any cons besides that. You keep your post count.
