I say if they're inactive for a certain period of time, like a few months or whatever, then they should be demoted.
Nothing can bring them away from the internet for THAT long unless they got tired of YCM.
So I agree with what Opal said and keep the team current.
And that Mods should say that they're leaving if they go somewhere.

Like I said, they cant always tell, it could be an unconcious action. But they should if they know.

They should just get some plants from the Bloom and Doom Seed Co. That will fix that problem.

I do agree. It's not like it's something that can be argued with. Unlike most here it seems, I can't type out a full report agreeing with the fact we need more active mods. That's not who I am. I agree with it, it's a fact. If a mod knows and states they won't be active here, their spot should be given to someone qualified for the job. That's how I feel, and that seems to be how others feel.

But I do hear what you're saying. If that's the case, then I say hire someone in place of them, but not demoting them.
And if they come back, then they share the section they watch over.
And if the replacement becomes inactive, then for the sake of stability, the first mod will be demoted to make room for the other replacement.

This is going off topic some, but since we seem to have drifted a bit, I'm looking for an answer to my question.
