For those who don't know ragnarok, he/she basically posted in every thread in RC. I think rag still has the highest post count. 36,000 something... I'm not going to tell you much since I only lurked in RC back then. All I know is that Icy had a bunch of arguments with him. When he was banned, several people started putting a "RIP Ragnarok" banner in their sigs. Or something like that. Then rag was unbanned, but eventually he was perma'd.

That wasn't necessary. And the fact that you stooped to such a level to degrade someone behind their backs is ridiculous. I don't think this is the kind of change YCMthropology is about. You got some 'splainin to do.

And for those of you who've ever taken the time or had the balls to actually speak to Ragnarok about what happened, he's pretty chill about it. So stop worshiping him by hating him.

He always offered great, constructive criticism, and he was extremely consistent, posting on every topic in RC (as said above).
He was direct and helpful, unlike the spammers who just post "crap" or "nice" on cards now...

@people talking about Ragnarok: I had the opportunity for him to rate a couple of my cards way back when. He's not a bad guy. Yeah he posted a heck of a lot, but I didn't see one spammy post. If they were spammy to a bannable degree, half the forum'd be banned right now.

@CC - Yes, I was speakin about the general troll problem. But I think there was alreadya topic about noob trolls who may not know they;re trollin, but some treat them like regular trolls (or somethin)




Psh, Rag was the shiz. I got as good as I did with card makin cause of frequent commenters like him.


Because believe it or not, I found something interesting.

A lot of card makers these days (IMO) feel for a card to be good, it must have like a shizload of effects.

Through comments, we learn how to balance our cards.

With this, we grow better OCG by trying out new effects, and we become more proud of our works, and try to find better pics.

But I think that's where the progress kinda ends.

People just make cards with craploads of effects, good OCG, and good pics and stuff. But I'd honestly love to see a card with just ONE creative effect (I have one example of said card, and I like it better than my others, because I believe it's more original than addin 3+ effects to a card)
