Yeah it needs a lot of fixing. But my main problem is that half of the list, including mods that I didn't name, need to get their ego brain washed, I've been a mod for over a year now or something and I really think that's the main reason why some of them are doing such a shoddy modding.=/ The first thing YCMaker could do is to mail the inactive ones and ask them if they still want to visit the site, no point in staying on the list if you're not even interested into YCM. But he hasn't done that yet, I don't know what he's waiting for. And after that we could try to get him to post a new application thread or something. The staff list is really old and rusty right now.:S

EDIT: Alright then, Tyrantking has been moved under JesusofChaos and Sushi.=P Oh and I forgot, Yankee is thinking about leaving and I think a few others too.

Do you have any idea how badly we'd have to filter that list?

Yes I'm pretty much aware of it but if YCMaker doesn't start somewhere we'll stay with the same crap forever. He should PM Hunter and the others and ask if they even go to YCM, if they don't then off with them. I used to have Junk Raver on Facebook but don't know what he's doing. But first of all I've found the "all forums" thing a bit confusing, apparently it doesn't work differently with IPB but it's still not good for newbies.

And I don't care if you're member nr 1 or whatever, if you're not doing your job properly and breaking rules that anyone else gets punished for, then you belong on a B list. Like with soccer teams.

Its simple.
Set requirement.
Like have a post count of [X]
Have been on since [Y]
Dont have a warning level of [Z]
X + Y + Z = New mod
-> ??????????
-> profit?

That's a bit too lenient imo though. For example, people who spam will have a high post count, just being here for a set amount of time means nothing and not having a warning level of [Z] isn't a bad idea but thins out a lot of people.

Yeah that's another thing, it will be hard to find new mods who are qualified enough and won't make the same mistakes as some others, like coming and going whenever you want without saying anything and leaving busy sections behind. I think MarbleZone is doing a good job but hmm, do you think we would need another General mod? IDK, asking...

Hmm I'm trying to remember how the other mods got chosen... I think they went by application threads mostly and kept them for reference, mods could make suggestions and in the end it was YCMaker who picked. I remember that I was picked just because a few mods (who mostly aren't around anymore) thought I'd do fine in General, never posted an application myself.

I agree that MarbleZone is doing a good job, but I think that the idea behind that is because that is too much for just 1 mod to handle. There is no way MarbleZone can get through everything.

I get what you mean, though.

Well I kinda suggested a list of mods who signed off/need to get mailed about whether they want to continue modding or not.

Also because I'm slow and this thread gains posts faster than Ragnarok ._.

I don't think that post count is a requirement. Out of the generation when I got promoted, I think only Yin and me are left though.=/

And I agree the Deck section and RPing really need someone.

All were close seconds. The reason we decided Your Deck is because there is basically no rules there anymore. It needs the most enforcement.

God, I'm tempeted to post a Pokemon deck is that section.
But I wont. As that would ruin all the fun ;)
