Yeah, Rag's post count was around 33,000+. It was never like Rag just posted like "Good job 10/10" or something ameteur. He was just a fast poster - as he loved to rate cards and wanted to help people.

Anbu, I love reading your reviews. I think you'd make a decent mod, tbqh. Also, what Saturn says is true. Icy and Rag truly despised each other... I think Rag got suspended once for calling Icy a tyrant or something. xD

Majority of the time, I use the word 'he' on YCM when talking to a member on YCM, unless it's obvious through their Name / Avatar their female. But then, there's always that person on YCM like J-Max with a Girl like Avatar / Name that makes me use 'she' by accident.

Why thank you, but however, even though I hope members start giving actual CnC on cards, only few do so. One other member who gives out Reviews quite similar to mines is Spoon, but other then that, I don't know much members that give out thorough CnC as much as I do.

Yeah, it's kinda died down after more of the seasoned persons left (like Kale, Rag, and such). Back in '08-'09, there were TONS of detailed card reviewers. It's - as you said - died down considerabily lately.

I joined at December '09, and by what I remember, there were a decent amount of detailed card reviews. Now, all I see are your average "OP'd 1/10" "You spealed life pointz wrong 3/10" "The picture is too blurry 4/10" and whatnot. This most likely comes from the low Level members (3 and under) but even some of the higher Level members (most likely the 4's and some 5's) give out CnC like this as well. On the other hand, most of teh higher Level members that do give CnC like this are most likely just trolls. Well, I can tell you I most likely will be here for quite awhile. If I would leave, it'd be most likely in 2-3 years, but most likely will pop in every once in awhile to see how YCM is hanging on and whatnot.

I have suggested Dark before, but was declined. And Marblezone does a wonderful job, that I assure you.
Someone else was suggested for Modship in Your Deck, however such information is not yours to know.

And I do not believe a user in Custom Cards should moderate a single section, but rather all of them. Meaning unless you have knowledge of how ALL of custom cards works and are fluent as well as have shown activity there, you're not fit for the job. I don't care how "responsible" you are, I want to see ACTION BEFORE WORDS. And if that takes time then so be it, earn your place you aren't given it.

And before you complain about my inactivity in Contests? I find the people there more than mature enough to handle it. If there is a serious issue, surely one of you has the common sense to PM/message me on MSN/AIM me?

Simply because the situation in YCM is HORRIBLE.

One admin is inactive, the other does not do/cannot do close to anything.

Most mods are either inactive, lazy, or bad. (I consider Roxas and FD exceptions)


On the card rating topic, I'll jump in because back when I was a 3-star, my hang out WAS the CC section. Realistic, Pop culture, contests, you name it. I just never went into written cards.


Back in the days, card raters like Ragnarok, and notdointhis16 gave me a lot of useful advice in the cards I posted. I believe I am the card maker I am today (used to be better, but due to a long break I kinda lost a bit of my awesoness~) cause of good card raters like them.

Back in the old days, almost EVERY thread got at least a few comments.

Today, I see threads die with 0.

Which is just sad, considering I check some of these threads from time to time, and I see some actual nice cards with 0 comments.
