Thanks for the warm welcome Y2J and Smashsquatch. I find this highly ironic now. Anyway, sounds like I came at the right time.

For those of you who have not seen The Last Exorcism, I recommend it. Just have the lights on. I had the lights off and I was freaked out during parts of it. The ending is insane.

The other movie I saw that was about demon children was...........I don't remember the name all I remeber was that it was this demon little boy who convinced people to kill themselves. In the end a guy faked shooting himself by aiming too far from his head and shot and then shot the child. Kind of a harsh ending but then again all CHILDREN OF THE CORN MUST DIE!!!!

Case 39 is a pretty good movie with a solid plot line which use surrounding to scar the audience so yeah I would understand if it's not like "I'm scaring you in the face" type of a movie. Last Exorcism is an awesome movie too but there's a few flaws in the film that makes the girl like she's not really posses but it's better than Paranormal Activity 2 and with more better scare jumps. But still,it can't beat The Exorcist!!Pazuzu is the beast 1-avatarV.gif

I don't believe any horror movie could beat The Exorcist.

@Smashsquatch, there are at least 4 sequels that I am aware of (but I think there might be a few more), the first sequel was meh, the rest didn't look interesting at all.

Yes, there were a few plot holes, but there usually are in such movies, so I'm not too disappointed. I haven't seen Paranormal Activity 2 yet, I'm debating it. If it is decent, I probably will sometime.

yes, nobody can defeat pazuzu1-avatarV.gif

@FTW, I don't think you miss much with PA2.It's pretty dull with only 2, yes 2 scary part while other scare jump is pretty much been there done that..Last Exorcism is a really really better choice.

anyway, switching topic for a while, do you guys know or heard of Hellblazer or The Sandman

@Smashsquatch, well..just like hellsing, Hellblazer is a horror graphic novels/comic with its own awesome anti-hero John Constantine. There's a movie called Constantine that base loosely on 1 arc of it's storyline though they change the first of the fallen to lucifer. Meanwhile I'm referring to DC/Vertigo's Sandman..his the dream king from the horror graphic novels/comic. John C from Hellblazer and few dc superhero made a small cameo here..So? anyone heard of them

um..pazuzu freak me out..kinda, his not cute. But anyway, hellblazer and the sandman is quite a popular comic books. It also serve as a major inspiration for Eric Kripke while doing Supernatural. eg Castiel's attire is inspired by John C's attire while Tessa the reaper is inspired by Death from Sandman. several Lucifer's attribute is inspired by The Sandman's Lucifer like how he mostly calm and tell more truth than most of the angel in the show. Kripke also did mention that if he still was the show runner for supernatural season 6, he would look like to make a character based from the first of the fallen to top of the Apocalypse arc. The first of the fallen was supposed to be the devil but since Lucifer was made in the sandman, the first had it's own background craft up for him. So we really should thank this comic books since it gives us supernatural.

Well, I do agree that it was inspirational for Supernatural, but I do have two things to point out.

1. Eric Kripke has said that if anything gives him inspiration, it is horror movies. He makes the show out to have a more movie feel because he feels that movies offer more.

2. If anything besides movies inspired him, it was Kolchak the Night Stalker. I say this because his original draft for the show was about a news reporter who gets caught up in various supernatural events and no one believes him. That's basically the plot for Kolchak. I doubt he would ever say that it was his inspiration, but it is what it is.

@FTW, you're right! Kripke's original idea for supernatural was really based on Kolchak: The Night Stalker. It was supposed to be a new reporter who encounters supernatural events and the only one who believed him was his younger brother. Also, most of the lore for the monster and ghost they used from season 1-season 2 and midway season 3 was mostly from horror movies/classic horror movies. This also include the demon meanwhile for the reaper, angels and pagan gods mostly came from the sandman and hellblazer also some other works by Gaiman(writer of the sandman) e.g Jesse the anti-Christ was loosely based on the small kid from Good Omens who didn't know he was the anti-Christ. Anyway, did anyone else watch the movie Constantine? it was based loosely on Hellblazer.

1. Why do you want to join?: I take great interest in the paranormal

2. What's your favorite episode or favorite scene from an episode?: (If you don't watch Supernatural, write N/A) N/A

3. What is your favorite paranormal movie or tv show?: (It doesn't have to be horror, it can be Twilight or something like that) Ghost Hunters just because its awesome learning of all the paranormal activity in these historic places.

4. Would you prefer to be a Hunter, Demon, Angel or Monster and why?: (This is based off of question 2, if you don't watch Supernatural then just pic whatever appeals to you. Also, a Hunter is someone that hunts Monsters and if you choose Monster, tell me what kind) Hunter.
