Just a sec, I'd like to point some things out to the Club Owner first, should he read this.

1. Finals for college are soon. One of two decent reasons.

2. I suck now as a card maker. That isn't right. Even if it was true, then you should aim to improve rather than give up.

3. Many of my friends here have either left or refuse to talk to me (which reminds me far too much of RL) Not true. You bring other people together in conversation, the only person who does so even close to as well is Sondance.

4. I'm bored here now. Big forum. There's a lot you can do other than 1v1's and comment on the status bar. There's your project as well.

5. I'm depressed while I'm here. The other decent reason.

Glad that's off my chest.

As for a topic, if it hasn't been covered, what about supernatural-based literature? "Dracula" is an obvious example but things like "A Christmas Carol" as well.

I'm trying to think of what that book we read in 7th Grade I think it was called The Wattsons go to Burmingham where the kid Kenny get's frigthened into believing in this demonic twin brother Winnie the Pooh has called the Wool Pooh and after that at any scary/intense moment he would see this pitch black freaky figure. Did it do anything really to the story not really unless you count the random ending.

Replying to what Gabriel Maeso said, yeah ALUCARD and DRACULA are the same person, if your talking about Hellsing OVA/Manga but if your talking bout castlevania, Alucard is Dracula's son and thus Dracula wins by 10 fold but if your talking about other alucard, I don't really know who will win cause alucard had only been featured in this 2 franchise.

Anyway, back to Literature, ghost really do pop out a lot even if the book is about romance or whatever. Like how red riding hood is actually about a werewolf...

Can't say I've read it, but the idea of Winnie the Pooh's evil twin sounds pretty epic.

One of the best horror books, with a good amount of supernatural stuff goong on, The Shining. Building possessing people counts, and I'm fairly sure there's a few ghosts floating about. Mix in a bit of psychic ability as well.

Lot of stuff in there.

And to think he was frightened to believe it when his older brother told him that somewhere in the lake there was a Whirlpool that comes out of random but mis-pronounced it and Wool Pooh came out of it. The kid almost sinks then he sees it and at the Bombing of Burmingham then makes up a Pet Hospital which made no sense at all.

Yeah, The Shining is good. Werewolf is Little Red Riding Hood is also good.

Snarling anthropomorthic wolf in fairy-tale gets ignored most of the time. Bad ending though, as if it gets killed by a random hunter <_< . There's probably more things like that in fairy tales but I can't think of any.

Strange ending.

EDIT: Just remembered all the trolls and ogres and things in fairy tales. How'd I forget those?

Exactly! I did like story for the most part but the ending was just random and stupid with the Pet Hospital it wasn't even that he just sat behind the couch for a long period of time.

But back to topic with Werewolf's in fairy tales and childs stories usually makes Werewolves look like pussies (ex:Twilight) now with movies where it's more mature (ex:Wolfman).

ah actualy I'm not a real member...sorry...

1. Why do you want to join?: Because Smashsquatch ask me if I wanted, so why not!

2. What's your favorite episode or favorite scene from an episode?: Castiel Fighting angels at the episode that Zacarias die.

3. What is your favorite paranormal movie or tv show?: Supernatural.

4. Would you prefer to be a Hunter, Demon, Angel or Monster and why?: hun... a monster, an Alucard like vampire or a Hans Günsche like werewolf, monsters are awsome! and I could kill humans at my own will(something that I want to do in the real life)! But... beeing a demon or an Angel like Cass or Lucifer would be nice too...

and just some curiosity I know a lot of things about supernatural(not the TV series the supernatural "real" stuff) stuff, probably I will try to put a RP that I made that was about Supernatural(Not the TV series) stuff...

oh! sorry I got a little out of the subject...

replying to what Y2JgraveVStheWORLD said, I was comparing(sorry if it is wrong) Dracula(from the book and from Castlevania) to Hellsing's Alucard, actualy I had forgoten about Castlevania's Alucard, and if were a fair fight betewen Dracula and Alucard(both from castlevania) Dracula would use his son to wipe the floor, then beat the **** out of him then kill him with Demonic Megadome!(yes I'm a ******** Castlevania/Hellsing adicted).

Alright more new members!

And actually your still on topic you see we don't entirely focus on Supernatural it self but we focus on paranormal/supernatural things themself. You see I don't watch Supernatural even though I should. But anyways it's okay your still technically on topic.

Welcome to the Supernatural Club!

yeah!! wolfman was an awesome movie. I'm talking about the original but the remake is ok I guess but what I'm trying to say is FAIRY TALES has a lot of supernatural references like evil witch, werewolf, evil step mom etc etc... that was the grim brother's version while disney twisted it so bad that it turn out to be a kiddies movie

I've seen a few Grim Brothers stories!

My favorite is tie between Solider Jack and Bearskin.

In Solider Jack there were 3 freaky looking demons who haunted the house that Jack wanted and he could get it for free if he lived through the night well he did.

In Bearskin the Devil himself made a bet with a man that he must wear a Bear's skin for 7 years without washing or sleeping in the end he succeeded but 2 people killed themselves and that's what the Devil was after the whole time.

Hey guys! The way that Disney shows the fairy tales is lame, it is always the same thing, I will show an equation that will explain everything:

Prinscess/poor woman + prince/poor man(some times only) + villain of the second category = Disney's fairy tales.

EVERYONE HAIL THE SPOOKY/SCARY TWISTED STORYES!!!!!!

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I'm a crazy guy.

Gabriel, Skizo, welcome to the club. I haven't added names in a while, so I have to go through the old posts to add them eventually. You are in though.

As for your discussion, The Grimm Brothers wrote exceptionally creative story that were meant to pass down life lessons in a way that would make readers remember them. They are filled to the brim with paranormal references and from what I've heard exceptionally good to read.

@Gabriel, very true base formula for old school Disney movies.
