Well, that's one big Paranormal reference. It's a decent enough movie imo, not as amazing as was claimed but decent. I'm also talking about shows you don't usually realize would have them. Yu-Gi-Oh most certainly has tons of references to occult terms.

Not just animes. Many television shows have references to paranormal, whether it be great or small.

 

Edit: Yami is the spirit of an Egyptian Pharaoh. There is one reference right there.

I know but almost every Anime has some sort of Paranormal Refrence!

Most of them are obvious like Hellsing!

Actually, most of them aren't so obvious. Now Hellsing is obvious, but you'd be surprised. For example, in Yu-Gi-Oh GX, Sartorius uses an Arcana Force deck. The cards in his deck are based off of Tarot Cards, which are very paranormal in nature.

Well, it always seemed to end with Jaden being low on life points and out of cards so he would miraculously draw the exact card he needed to win. That's luck.

I have always wanted to see a moment where there low on life points and there saying, "Heart of the Cards heart of the cards!" then they draw and don't get the right card and ends with them saying, "f***!" :lol:

Any yeah, GX probably had the most horror theme based plot of the 3. Here's what I know

 

Although the first half of the anime's first season began on a whimsical note, the latter half established a noticeably darker atmosphere by introducing supernatural elements similar to those present in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, such as magic, the Shadow Games, and various myths, along with Judeo-Christian subtext. The second season had a strong thematic presence built on destiny, with ties to the Cthulhu Mythos of H.P. Lovecraft and associated horror fiction authors writing in the Lovecraftian horror, and drew on space opera as a plot device. The third season continued this trend, but with much greater emphasis on emotional torment, with alternate dimensions serving as its primary settings. The third season is easily the darkest, with large number of the main cast appearing to die over the course. Even though most later return, they are believed by both the viewer and the remaining characters to be dead. The fourth season continues character-driven plotlines established in the first season, such as Chazz Princeton's desire to duel professionally, and the students that vanished in the abandoned dormitory.

Hey guys, I'm going on hiatus for awhile. Smashsquatch, you are in charge while I'm gone. I need the break and I'm bitterly depressed at the moment, so it may be a long break or it might be a day or two, dunno. I don't want this to fade while I'm gone. As for why I'm leaving:

 

1. Finals for college are soon.

2. I suck now as a card maker.

3. Many of my friends here have either left or refuse to talk to me (which reminds me far too much of RL)

4. I'm bored here now.

Ah... actualy Alucard IS Dracula, but if you are talking about a Diferent Dracula like one from Castlevania or from the book I would say that..

Castlevania Dracula vs Alucard; Alucard wins because he have his holy ammunition on his guns(Cassul and The Jakal) and he have more than a billion lifes to use.

Book Dracula vs Alucard; Alucard, Because he has no limits anymore so he can kill ANYTHING!
