Blake
Out of the sources I saw "Pokebeach, the WIkia, Serebii), they said VICTINI. And they don't romanize, in my experience =/
BT
GUYS! ITS OBVIOUSLY BIKUTINI, BECAUSE JAPAN HAS NO Vs OR Cs... so deal with it... say it in your head with an accent without the u.... Blake
GUYS! ITS OBVIOUSLY BIKUTINI, BECAUSE JAPAN HAS NO Vs OR Cs... so deal with it... say it in your head with an accent without the u.... (some vowel arent supposed to be pronounce)
Thus the pronunciation is BIKUTINI =_= The actual name is Victini AKA Victory + Tini (Or somethin')I mean, REALLY. IT puts its fingers up in the V shape, and its head is a V.
BT
YES IN ENGLISH! OR JAPANESE TRANSLATED BUT IN JAPANESE OR ROMANJI, ITS BIKUTINI!, deal with it!
DL
Yes, Victini was ROMANIZED. It was originally Bikutini, in Japanese. First off, kanji don't end in "c". Victini Vic-ti-ni That automatically means it's not a Japanese name. And apparently US was the only country to clal it Victini, because every other country I'm seeing calls it Bikutini. EDIT: EVEN Japanese Bi-ku-ti-ni I typed it in Japanese http://www.pokemon-sp.jp/series/bw/subwin/spe_01.html

Blake
BT. All Caps like that makes you look like a freaking moron. It's name is VICTINI which is pronounced BIKUTINI in Japanese. Here's an example- The E-Hero cards are called A-Heros, even though the card says E-Hero. Another, Neos. Pronounced Nay-Ose in Japanese, but his name is SPELLED Neos. DL
@BT - You ninja'd me. And Black...I supose that makes everyone that does the victory pose have to have a name that starts with a V? And his ears could just be shaped like that because it's cool :/ EDIT: But here I have seen and showed proof that he is also called Bikutini. And by the way, Victory isn't a Japanese word, so it's obviousoly a bad English pun.
Blake
... His whole point is that he's the VICTORY Pokemon. >_>EDIT Bulbapedia says it is VICTINI in Japanese. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Victini_(Pok%C3%A9mon)
DL
I have not seen that anywhere. And BTW, Psypoke says he's Bikutini in Japanese. BT
BT. All Caps like that makes you look like a freaking moron. sooo... >.> It's name is VICTINI which is pronounced BIKUTINI in Japanese. GOD! IN ENGLISH, OR REALITY MISUORE, NOT IN JAPANESE! IF A JAP DUDE WALKS UP TO YOU AND SAYS VICTINI, it would be lik this: Bikutini Here's an example- The E-Hero cards are called A-Heros, even though the card says E-Hero. actually... A is treated as E... and vise versa wow Another, Neos. Pronounced Nay-Ose in Japanese, but his name is SPELLED Neos. BT
OK! LOOK! *stop allcaps* ok... look... bulbapedia puts the more-english version while the other one just makes it have perfect romanji like if you go to google translate and you put it in... it would say Bikutini... cause the characters are: Bi Ku Tee ~ee Ni! DL
I did not. BT did. Either way, does it really matter? I'm still naming it Bikutini, whether it's the real Japanese name or not. And even then, it's still how it's pronounced in Japan. But I still believe it is also written that way, in Kanji. And I've stated why.
Blake
And I have stated that the most legitimate sources say it is VICTINI. Just like E-Heros, where E is swapped with A and the card says E, it is still E-Hero. Also, you did. You posted Psypoke, something I've never even heard of, in response, saying it was correct. But, fine, let's drop it.
