Fusion X. Denver
SAME. Stupid midterms though... As soon as Thursday comes, I can get going on finishing it (almost halfway done atm). Just realized I need to incorporate Pokemon somehow into the Japan arc..
El Make
O.o This thing is still alive? Meh, might as well try posting here again... Current HG team (just beat Whitney, and going to capture teh tree): Croconaw (Yamamoto), lvl 24 Charmeleon (Gokudera), lvl 22 Sneasel (Hibari), lvl 20 Machop (Ryohei), lvl 20 Onix (Rocky), lvl 6 Sandshrew (Enma-kun), lvl
Fusion X. Denver
The -kun kills it >.> Trade Onix out for a Grass type, like Sunflora or Bellossom or...something.
El Make
You realize I'm not even using the last two aside from HMs, right? >.> Btw, just won the Bug Catching Contest by capturing Epicpod at full health. :3 It must make the AI that caught the Syther feel like crap... .___. Fusion X. Denver
Shouldn't you have a team of 6 though :/ When your Charmeleon evolves, half your team will be weak against an Electric type and what if your Machop and Sneasel are out of it? Although you could teach Feraligatr Earthquake.. Still, a balanced team of 6 is the way to go.
El Make
Fusion, I'm planning on 6, but I want fun pokemon, not catch a Pidgey and train it. Plus, when do I have to worry about electric attacks? If I meet a trainer who uses a Pikachu that's 5 levels lower than my Pokes? XD I'm planning on adding possibly a Scyther, but I have to wait until Thursday for that. I'm also considering Lapras, Gligar, Growlithe, and Phanpy
Fusion X. Denver
Go with Phanpy then, you'll have other 3 as types in your party (once Charizard is evolved) and Donphan's a beast. Scyther maybe, though it Bug type doesn't have a lot of advantages. Scizor would be good to have though.
El Make
Well, it's between Phanpy and Gligar now. Both are ground-type, but Gligar has the whole Flying-type advantage... Tho that's x4 Ice weakness... >.>
Fusion X. Denver
That's what I was thinking. Pick Phanpy because Charizard will already be your flying guy.
Myst
I'll join this
El Make
Accepted, I guess. And HG update: Did the Burnt Tower thing, ran into Raikou the first time I left the city. >____> Pokedex: 44/493 Croconaw (Yamamoto), lvl 25 Charmeleon (Gokudera), lvl 24 Machop (Ryohei), lvl 23 Sneasel (Hibari), lvl 22 Growlithe (Nuts), lvl 16 Onix (Rocky), lvl 6 Yeah, decided to add Growlithe for backup at Pryce and Jasmine. After that I might switch out for Scyther or possibly an Eveelution.
Fusion X. Denver
Yeah, switch it out since there's no point in having 2 fire types on your team. And that same exact scenario happened when I left the Burning Tower 0.o
El Make
Dude, it never fails, I always run into Raikou the moment I leave the city. .___. And I might get Jolteon, Volt Absorb + Electric-type on my team at last = <
Fusion X. Denver
Yeah, go with Jolteon for an electric type. Better than Ampharos like everyone else uses >.> My SS team is kinda...common. Meganium Typhlosion Quagsire Ampharos Golem Lugia Forget the levels, it's been so long.
El Make
1. Meganium? Really? =-= 2. lol2starters 3. lolgeneric 4. loluber 5. The only non-generic part of that team is Golem... and that's because people need to trade to get him >.> 6. EVERYONE USES FUXING AMPHY! >:U
Fusion X. Denver
Meganium is expert choice, it's the hardest starter to work with! I needed Typhlosion because I couldn't find a fire type...until I ran into that Vulpix >.> But it didn't learn Flamethrower quick enough I think, so I used 2nd starter. And I wouldn't lol, you're using Charizard along with Feraligatr =.= YES EVERYONE USES AMPHAROS AND FOR GOOD REASON! Golem is beast, aside from fighting water pokemon .__. Clair
HeartGold Team? Mine ended up being... Electrode Typhlosion Tyranitar Espeon Suicine Dragonite Haters gonna hate, but I'm proud of my Dragonite. <3 @Fusion - I have a Geodude and Krabby as HM slaves. So Golem isn't totally useless. ;D
Fusion X. Denver
You know.. It'd be GREAT if GameFreak designed it so HM moves could be considered as either outside of battle only moves, or as a 5th move slot so they wouldn't take up space for other moves =__= That is a beast team, but now I've confirmed something. I'm like the only guy who always has a Grass type in his party >.>
El Make
Fusion, all Grass pokemon are meh mostly. :/ And what? You don't like my Typhlosion with the move set: Cut, Strength, Flamethrower, and Rock Smash? ;~;
Fusion X. Denver
It could be better. Like mine with Eruption, Flamethrower, Dig, and Strength. And Sceptile is NOT meh >:U
El Make
I tried to beat Sapphire w/Sceptile, the E4 stopped me in my tracks I tried to beat Sapphire w/Swampert, I stopped after 5th gym because I disliked it I tried to beat Sapphire w/Blaziken, best fuxing game of Sapphire ever
Fusion X. Denver
I played Sapphire with all 3. I'll admit, I traded the other 2 starters over because I was stuck on 3rd gym, but I loved Sceptile. While Sceptile is my favorite final Starter evo, Bulbasaur is my favorite 1st evo starter. I played Red with Bulbasaur and dominated.
El Make
But... Playing Red without Charmander is just... just wrong... e.e
Fusion X. Denver
Well, that was when I was little. I went back and played with it as Charmander and still had a blast. ... Remember when Red and Blue were the only games out and your dream was to defeat Gary and collect all 150 pokemon ;__;
Clair
Well, at least Smugleaf looks the coolest in Gen. V. There's something. ;D I keep thinking what a good Grass party member would be... ~ Hoppip has the worst typing ever. ~ Sunflora and Bellossom are too slow. ~ Vileplume and Victreebel are Poison, which sucks. =/ idk But, one thing. Sceptile is sexy shiz. <3 Especially since the auto-correct on my iPod just tried to change "Sceptile" to "scrotum". >____>
