[center][i]It all began when I found this book. This book was filled with different inscriptions of so many different cultures. There was runes from the far norse, hieroglyphs from the sacred sands of Egypt, letters of the old Greece language and Celtic symbols. They all told the story about one thing and this thing only. They told how to find[/i] it[i]. They told how to find Atlantis.[/i][/center]

The date is December 19, 2012. A relatively young professor of ancient cultures is soon to find out the true meaning of the word "apocalypse". While the world is divided into two parts, one of them claiming that the world is going to end, and the other one calling the first part a bunch of idiots. Which part you belong too doesn't matter. You are a specialist in a specific job that we might have use for. You will travel to a world long forgotten by mankind, to find out what REALLY happened with the Lost City of Atlantis 4000 years ago...

Ninja'd! 20 seconds later, and Imma applying. First thing though; the questions and/or comments. First off, Apocalypse truly means 'awakening', cause it's talking about how the Catholic Church fears the time will come when humans no longer need God to join them, so that part about the 'true meaning'...kinda strange, in my opinion. Also, whaddya mean in the rules, with that brown block thing? Do you mean don't remove the code?

Working on an app... Also, just a comment:

In reality, there could be no such thing as Atlantis. Our knowledge of plate tectonics completely denies any possibility of a city or island, let alone a continent, sinking. Flooding over is possible, but if it was just flooded, we would have found it a long time ago.

[b]Personality:[/b] Your steriotypical Irish dude. He is a very lively person. Cheery, expressive, and believes nothing can't be solved with a glass of beer. He is very caring of his friend, but doesn't like to get into their personal business too much. When it comes to his work, he doesn't mind people hanging around, as long as they don't hinder his progress, cuz' then he'll introduce his boot to your ass. He's very passionate about his work, calling anything he works on his lass. Also, he is quite chivalrous.
[b]Biography:[/b] Harold was born in Ireland to a moderately wealthy family. He was a blacksheep. While all his siblings were studying to become doctors or lawyers or whatever, he was breaking stuff. His was thus nicknamed Hazard. However, what they didn't understand was that he didnt enjoy the breaking as much as he liked the reconstruction. He wanted to find out how things worked. So, eventually, he got a Doctorate in Advanced Engineering, and went on to aid in the construction of towers, ships, planes, bridges, and even a spacecraft. Currently he is not working on an assignment, but is teaching Advanced Physics in a college.
[b]Appearance:[/b] Hazard is a big man. Weighing around 240lbs, he has a sort of grey-lightly-tanned skin. Though he is very strong, doesn't look it due to being fat. His arms are hairy. He has a beard that stretches around his face, but no mustache. His black hair is short and curly. He is 6'2", has dark brown eyes, and is missing a tooth towards the back of his mouth from his last project. From the same project, he has a scar that stretches the length of his entire arm, plus the base at the shoulder.

[b]Personality:[/b] James is always adamant to a task at hand and will remain where he is so long as it won't affect how a task will be made. He is selfless to any obstacle that stands in his way, caring for who he is teaming up with and wants to make sure that all of them live, and loyal to anyone who leads him, so long as he is the one always making the correct choices with the situation at hand.
[b]Biography:[/b] James was much smarter than any other Latino in the U.S. He wasn't like those gang members out there. He knew better than to do bad things. That's why he became a college professor at age 20. Although James has been a college professor for supposedly 18 years, he also had a secondary job as a motor repair man, which was his dream job, and was highly experienced in it, nearly knowing all of the issues happening in a vehicle if it malfunctions. At first, he got the scars on his arm and leg due to an accident of getting used to the second job, but now he knows not to mess up. After about a few years of doing seemingly easy repairs, he was given his nickname "Mr. Fix It" by his boss. He never knew these two jobs could be juggled together, but he knew he would only do repairs on weekends while teaching on school days. If it wasn't for his choices, he wouldn't be exactly as successful as he is today.

Today, he had a strange fascination about Atlantis, even though he had been teaching his students, who he has bonded with during the year, that Atlantis could not exist by how the Geography of the Earth is explained. However, he wanted to prove these people wrong. He had heard about a young scientist near the college he's working for and what he has been researching. James wants to know more about him and try and prove all of the scientists out there that the Geography of Earth won't matter; that Atlantis was something possibly out of this world, for it would have been unaffected by the tectonic plates of Earth. He will find out the truth, no matter what, but he will need some help along the way of the journey to understand his situation.
[b]Appearance:[/b] When it comes to how James is portrayed, the only easiest features notable about him is that he is 205 pounds, a tan skin tone, medium short, straight, black hair, blue eyes, an average muscle tone, and a white cloth headband over his forehead, symbolizing that he might have an injury. It was really a scar from an event in the past that he does not wish to speak about with anyone or show the scar. The things not seen and is usually covered by bandages are many scars; one on his forehead; one across his chest; one down his left forearm; and one down his right leg.

Well. My character reads the book, some guy contacts him and tells him that "lol I have started an expedition to find atlantis, wanna come?" and then the RP starts at the boat, with your character already invited.

And I don't know if this RP going to be. I have a lot to do and can barely handle my other RP :S
