A young man sang to himslef, slowly walking through the city with his head to the ground, "Hitotsu wa, chocked kare no chīsana jiko kara kyū ga atta..." He sung as he accidentally bumped shoulders with a girl with short green hair and a ponytail and ignored it like nothing happened, talking to himself with his brown hair blowing into his eyes. This is what Kyosuke did each day.

Inside Flauros Energy Co. Anastasio sat in his CEO office, on the twentieth floor of the building, looking down to the rest of the city. "Pathetic. Look at all of them, all of them are a nuisance that must be converted." Anastasio said slowly standing up out of his chair and walking over to a window, "But soon... So soon... My dream will be satisfied."

James strolled up past the dueling nitwits in the park back to the tea shop. He'd forgotten his pack and it had his Duel Disk and his deck in it. He couldn't afford to lose either. He could buy another Duel Disk but his was a custom that had cost him a small fortune. It was hard being a left handed duelist. And he knew he could never rebuild his deck because most of his cards had been discontinued. He entered the shop and saw a young couple at a corner table. The boy was much taller than the girl and was typing out messages on a personal computer. The girl would giggle and go on talking to him stealing sips of hot Choclate. He turned from the kids to the girl behind the counter,"Excuse me miss. I'm aftaid i left my bag here, you didn't grab it by any chance did you?" The girl studied him for a minute then asked,"Lite blue bag? Left Handed Duel Disk in it?" James let out a pent up sigh," Thank god, yep thats mine." He shouldered the bag and was turning to leave when to two fools in the park came charging in. Before James could move the brat was in his blind spot and slamed in to him. The kid cracked his head on the floor. James was only able to stay up because he grabbed the counter. As the kid lay on the floor rubbing the back of his head moaning his freind lunged at James and screamed," Why don't you watch were your goin? What are you blind?!"

It took all of his self control to keep from telling the mouthy brat off," Yes, I'm blind. At least in my right eye I am. Your freind got caught in my blind spot i couldn't see him."

She grinned broadly, hearing the sound of someone singing coming toward them.
[color="#008000"][b]"To be honest I only really come here cause of where it is,"[/b][/color] she continued, choosing to ignore the singing [b][color="#008000"]"It's petty close to home and right across the street from the academy after a..."[/b][/color]
She was interrupted when she felt someone knock against her and carry on walking. She stumbled a bit, grabbing Walter's shoulder to regain her balance.
[b][color="#0008000"]"Excuse me a second,"[/b][/color] she said, reaching behind her and grabbing the boy by the back of the collar [b][color="#008009"]"I hope you know you're out of tune, [i]kawa shika-san[/i]"[/b][/color] she said, not turning to look (as it'd be pointless) at the boy but keeping a strong grip on shirt.

[color="#A0522D"]Kyosuke felt no change in emotion as the girl grabbed his collar, "Tebanasu, If you know what's good for you." he said coldly, his face keeping a resenting and spine trembling glare at the girl. "Don't touch me." Kyosuke said grabbing the girls arm and forcing it away. He just glared at her and turned around, mouthing something rather inappropriate behind the girls' back and kept on walking. [i]"Cold-hearted wench."[/i] he thought to himself.[/color]

Walter was about to confront the boy who had just crashed into Yue, but she was quicker off the mark, probably because she'd realised she'd been bumped when it happened, whereas Walter had only realised it when she'd grabbed his shoulder. He turned to see the boy, although he kept his silence, figuring that the girl was probably well able to stand up for herself.

However, the boy forced her hand away and started to walk off. Walter reached out and grabbed almost the same spot Yue's hand had been moments before. "Excuse me, but I believe there is something you forgot to say to the young lady," he told him.

Yue merely grinned in response and allowed the boy to jerk himself free, apparently not having noticed she was blind. Yue didn't turn to face him but heard him mutter something as he turned to leave before Walter interviened.
[b][color="#008000"]"Oh he quite definitely said something,"[/b][/color] she replied, tuning in their general direction but not quite facing towards them [color="#008000"][b]"Proably not what you had in mind thought."[/b][/color]
She chuckled, walking slight closer and reaching out till she found Walter's shoulder.

Kyosuke said, eyes widened sarcastically staring and shaking his head at Walter, "Cause you can do anything to me, and I won't say a damn word." Kyosuke said with a fake smile on his face and his head still shaking slightly. "Now let go, I don't want to have to defend myself against you, It won't end pretty." Kyosuke said referring to his years of training in martial arts.[/b][/color]

[color=gray]Jack smiled and took a long drink of his coffee, draining fully a third of the mug in a single go and let out a contented sigh, watching Cecilia and the other people in the shop. She was right, the place was absolutely swarming with people from school. He knew a couple of them by name, and had seen a dozen or so more just walking around that day, [u]Is it always this full?[/u] He asked Cecilia, gesturing to all the people around him, [u]I'm surprised you could find a table in this sea of humanity, and at least three dogs.[/u][/color]

Cecilia was taking another sip of her drink when she saw two kids run in and nearly bowl someone else over. She raised an eyebrow, but her expression quickly went to a scowl when one of them got aggressive. "No manners at all," she hissed under her breath. "Never mind there are customers wanting some peace," she muttered, jerking her head towards the potential fight, in case Jack was unsure what she was talking about. Her hands twitched as she contemplated confronting them herself, but she barely restrained this urge. She wanted to do [i]something[/i], though. What could she say? She was restless.

She blinked at his message. "Oh, it was easy. Run to table, sit down, smile sweetly."

[color=gray][u]Mind yelling at those idiots for me?[/u] Jack asked Cecilia, [u]Who knows? Maybe they'll be so hotheaded and arrogant that they'll challenge us to a Duel right here and now. I haven't had a Duel in I don't know how long and I'm more than a little curious about how our decks compare to each other's.[/u] He smirked as Cecilia read the next part, [u]Unless of course you use blatantly girly cards, in which case I almost don't wanna know for fear of losing all respect for you before I've known you a day.[/u] His facial expression softened and revealed the last sentence to be a bit of friendly teasing.[/color]

She gave a low chuckle, opening her eyes a crack but still not facing the boy completely.
[b][color="#008000]"Tell you what,"[/b][/color] she said [b][color="#008000"]"Since you sound like such a happy little kid let's skip swapping punches and just have a nice friendly card game. Unless of course you're scared I'll beat you."[/b][/color]
She grinned broadly, putting on a casual yet serious expression.

Kyosuke tugged away from the guy, "Fine. I can do with a duel..." Kyosuke said with a slight smirk on his face. "But to warn you, I am not to be taken lightly." Kyosuke then activated his duel disk, "Now then, Which of you will I be dueling?" Kyosuke asked, beforehand he realized that the girl was blind but that shouldn't stop a good duelist, especially since she had a duel disk on her anyway. "Let's duel yes?"[/b][/color]

Yue grinned, taking her duel disk out of the bag on her back and slipping it onto her wrist before activating it. A soft note played from a built in speaker, indicating it was ready for use and the field slid out.
[i]Well, that was easier than I thought,[/i] Yue thought to herself [i]Guess kids these days really are as gullible as they say.[/i]
[color="#008000"][b]"I wouldn't worry, I never take people lightly,"[/b][/color] Yue replied, the paused for a moment [b][color="#008000"]"Actually on second thoughts, that is good cause to worry."[/b][/color]

Cecilia grinned. "Oh, I'd love to yell at them," she said. "They seem more like kids, so arrogant is in their nature." Plus, the idea of a tag duel was strangely appealing. Actually the idea of any duel was appealing, but she thought she recognized the kids from before as duelists loving the Dark Synchro hype. At the last part of the message, her jaw dropped. [i]Blatantly girly cards?[/i] she thought. She gave a tight smile, "I don't think you have to worry about that," she said placidly, getting up from the table and walking smoothly towards the kids by James.

"Hey!" she said loudly, to get their attention. "He's not the one who barged in here without looking where he was going, so just back off and leave. No need to spoil the peace for the rest of us. Take fights outside."

Walter raised an eyebrow when he saw the girl pull out a duel disk. Whilst he knew such technology did exist to let the blind play the game, he hadn't actually thought people used it. After all, even if a good player could remember what was on the field and not need to look, the design of the creatures themselves was part of the appeal of the game, at least to him, and he couldn't imagine the game being the same without it. He moved backwards, to get a more central view of the game, wondering what cards both of these two might use, and also how to explain 'pretty' without any reference to anything visual.

Kyosuke said disability sarcastically, pointing out that being blind isn't necessarily a huge disability and that he knew she was blind, "I shall proceed first then?" Kyosuke didn't believe in the traditional, "women first" kind of thing, he thought of everyone as equal. "I'll summon my monster,

She didn't bother to look down at her cards, as it would be pointless, and instead took a card from her hand, placing it on the field.

Yue's monster split, becoming three green rings floating in the air. Cocco Lupia flew up into the air, glding between the rings and becoming a single glowing orb.

Yue's monster raised it's arm, firing a wave of flame towards Kyosuke that would inflict 600 points of damage to him.
[i]Going by what he's played so far, I suppose he expects me to try and attack,[/i] Yue thought [i]Too bad for him then.[/i]
[b][color="#008000"]"And if you think that's all I'm afraid you're mistaken,"[/b][/color] Yue said [b][color="#008000"]"Because now I reveal my face down card, Call of the Haunted and use it to ressurect my Baby Zoppe, which in turn activates my Cocco Lupia's effect, meaning I can summon him too!"[/b][/color]

He had walked away, being satisfied for a very short amount of time, though he had missed the duel, learning the whereabouts of those two was quite a find for his files. Not a creepy hobby.....at all......

"bored as hell as usual" (ooc: curse the inactivity) he had taken the time to view as many students as he could while walking around, and found it ironic that there was a mute duelist and a blind duelist in a 5 mile radius. "I see, these two are using rare archetypes.....that makes this interesting." he was at least a good 20 feet away from both of them but paid close attention to their cards. "I do wonder how this will develop...the more people I meet in this little town, the more I think I'll be able to learn about the people for father"

Yue's life points dropped dramatically and Kyosuke's spell card shattered.

James was shocked when the young couple in the courner got up and moved to defend him. A kind gesture but it didn't help defuse the situation. "Hey back off this has nothin to do with you." But they stood their ground, even when threatened with violence. Which was the straw that broke his back. No matter the situation you never threaten a lady. He opened his mouth to issue a challenge but before he could say a word the young lady had challenged them to a tag duel with her boyfriend. As they moved out side to the park across the street James thought it over. He had nowhere to be and had all day to get there. "I think I'd enjoy watching you two beat the pants off these two. If you don't mind a audience?"
