She shrugged, being home educated she had no experience of such things and top that with being blind and all the 'help' people would insist she get if she weren't she figured it was for the better.

She made a brief motion in the direction of the academy.

Seiyu was surprised by Vicky, but he was happy to see her, [color=blue]"So what was it you wanted to get, or are we just going shopping for nothing in particular?"[/color] Seiyu was happy about winning the duel even though he had to bring out his ace monster to do it, [color=blue]"The weird thing about Star Shadow Dragon is that a found it in a pack that had 1 extra card in it so it was weird, I also found this and for some reason it seemed like I should give it to you."[/color] With that Seiyu walked over to Vicky and handed her the Scarlet Oni Dragon, a level -8 dark synchro monster that when it attacks destroys all opponents monsters with less attack then it has, and it had 3000 attack so few cards counld go 1 on 1 with it.

Vicky took the card, looked at it, frowned, and gave it back to Seiyu. [color=#800080]"I have no need for such a stupid card. Besides, didn't your father tell you what those things are? They are Dark Synchro Monsters! They are imbued with dark power, and are a symbol of the corruption of a duelist towards darkness and ruin! I may be a Goth, but I refuse to use such a wretched tool when I already have so many good ones!"[/color] What Vicky didn't mention was that the evil card was a near-exact copy of her father's ace, and she had never let anyone know, has never let anyone know, and will never let anyone know what she thought of her father.

[s][i]"interesting indeed, she has a good sense of honor....and he seems to be willing to gain strength from any source"[/i] while behind in the alleyway he ruined his outfit to make himself look a bit more homely, much like a hobo as he neared the trash can itself. "Excuse me....if you two will allow me to see if there is anything to eat in this here trash can?" he was careful in his word choice, but he had difficulty pulling off the accent of someone with a lack of education, and he was being very careful to hide his Duel Wrist, as that wasn't even supposed to be released to the public yet. As he looked inside he saw the remains of the card.....conveniently next to an apple core as he reached for all of it.[i] "This card should be fun to reconstruct"[/i][/s]

[color=gray][u]I like it.[/u] He concluded simply, [u]It's way too small for me, and I think I'd probably break it if I tried putting it on, but for someone of your stature, I'm sure it works nicely.[/u] He tossed the Duel Disk up into the air and caught it by the tip of one card zone when it came down, [u]I could easily see myself using this model of Duel Disk, though mine's probably gotta be bigger so I can fit it around my wrist.[/u] He cleared the screen and typed some more, an idea visibly dawning on him [u]Hey! Didn't Kaiba Corp used to make boomerang shaped Duel Disks?[/u] He asked, [u]Now that I could use, plus I hear they're bigger than usual, so it's a perfect fit for someone of my stature.[/u][/color]

Cecilia giggled, watching him carefully. "Boomerang disk?" she repeated, thinking. Her eyes soon lit up. "I've heard of one before! But that was ages ago. It was probably custom ordered or something, I don't think they were mass-produced." She considered for a few seconds. "You probably won't find one around here," she said with a shrug, deactivating the Duel Gun and sliding it off her arm and offering it back to him. "That one is just the standard disk. A little less bulky than the original version, but still way bulkier than this one."

"It's not too bad. Things are sometimes a bit tight, and it's challenging material, but it's not too much of a problem, at least not for me." He looked at the girl, even if she wouldn't be able to see back. Her eyes opened a little, showing a milky green. "I can understand a need to get out of the house - I feel the same way about the flat I'm in sometimes - mostly when my flatmate had a party the night before - but sometimes I just feel I have to be outside." He looked over at the academy that she had motioned to, where a number of students were milling around.
"It's strange, but I find I can honestly agree with just about everything you say. After all, today I came across a fascinating young lady."

[color="#008000"][b]"Fascinating?"[/b][/color] Yue raised an eyebrow, closing her eyes once more [color="#008000"][b]"That's probably the most interesting compliment I've ever recieved I suppose."[/b][/color]
She gave another chuckle, picking up her cane and folding it up.
[color="#008000"][b]"Seriously though, if you where me you'd get out a lot too,"[/b][/color] she said [color="#008000"][b]"A couple of loud parties never bothered me, if that helps any."[/b][/color]
She gave another slight chuckle, still listening to the sounds coming from the academy now that they where closer.

"Oh, the parties being loud aren't a problem," Walter admitted, "it's just if I'm in the flat the next morning they'll expect me to clear up, even when I spent the entire time they had the party at the duel monsters dueling arena, and so was in no way responsible for any of the mess. I'm guessing you spend a lot of time at home though, so I can understand why you'd want to leave it, and I think you may have picked one of the prettiest places in the city to come." He paused, thinking that mentioning the aesthetic qualities of their surroundings was probably not the most impressive thing he'd ever said.

Seiyu was surprised by Vicky's actions, but acting impulsive was one of her strong points so he didn't really mind, [color=blue]"Power is power, whether it is used for good or evil is up to the duelist that uses it, if an evil man uses Synchros does that make them bad, no it doesn't, but still lets not talk about philosophy right now, I have plans with Bruno later on a new skill."[/color] Vicky new about Bruno and how he had helped Yusei obtain a new power that not even Industrial Illusions had perfected, Accel Synchro, and he was a man they didn't want to deal with because there was very little data on him.

[color=gray][u]I'm no stranger to custom orders.[/u] Jack typed to Cecilia, [u]Duel Guns have long since ceased in production. Heh, this day and age you'd be hard pressed to find one of these things in anything even closely resembling working condition. Not counting mine, of course.[/u] He chuckled silently and looked up into the sky, [u]I think it's going to rain later.[/u] He mused, [u]I hate the rain.[/u] His hand went to his throat and his index finger tentatively traced over where his scar would be if his jacket was unclasped. He noticed that Cecilia was giving him a worried look and quickly typed out an addendum to his previous statement, [u]This thing doesn't work to well in the rain, and it's unbelievably expensive to replace if I get it wet.[/u][/color]

"Then you could probably order one," she reasoned, rubbing her chin thoughtfully.

"I love the rain," Cecilia said, without thinking. She giggled sheepishly after saying so. "It never bothers me, and my jacket's water proof and all that," she explained, shrugging her shoulders to show off the black, somewhat overly large jacket she was wearing. At the same time, she showed off the fact she was wearing gloves. "Besides, it smells so nice and fresh when it rains!" she exclaimed, adjusting the bag she was carrying over her shoulder.

"So you probably have to get going if you're worried about the rain, yes?"

[color=gray][u]I'm not worried about the rain, I'm just annoyed that I won't be able to talk to you once it starts. I haven't had a decent conversation with someone since... well...[/u] He gestured up to his throat, [u]Once people realize that I'm not an arrogant snob that refuses to talk to them, they focus on the fact that I can't talk. They think that just because my voice box doesn't work that my brain's fried with it. You're actually the first person that's talked to me in a decent while that hasn't completely fixated on my lack of voice. Thank you, Cecilia.[/u] He smiled brightly at the girl and looked around, just now realizing that he had no idea where in the holy Hell he was.[/color]

Cecilia giggled, her eyes watching the message. "No problem," she chirped. "I don't really notice, aside from I have to read, but I spend a lot of time reading as it is, what with cards and books and boring assignments and so on," she said. Noticing him looking around, she chuckled. "Not far from the school, currently walking in the general direction of the park," she said, assuming he wasn't sure where they were. He had been focusing rather intently on whether she liked the Duel Gun and also on typing messages, so she could forgive him for the lack of perception.

"I normally would want to go sit in the park, but if it's going to rain, that could make things difficult," she noted, scowling rather intensely. "No one ever wants to duel during rain." She looked up at the sky for a moment. "Did you want to go somewhere else? Maybe sheltered so it won't hinder your communication?"

[color=gray][u]Well, if you're any good at reading lips, I don't mind sitting in the rain. I don't get cold easily, and, considering your coat looks like it could fit ME, I doubt you'll have too much of a problem.[/u] He reasoned, [u]If not, we could go to your house if you want. It doesn't really matter to me, I'm down for anything... I can't believe I actually said the phrase I'm down for anything..[/u] He chuckled and shook his head, [u]My shoddy word choice aside, where do you usually go after class? I'm a recent transfer student, so I don't really know my way around this town at all, though if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say my apartment's about seven blocks that way.[/u] He pointed vaguely northeast as soon as Cecilia got to that part of the message.[/color]

Cecilia hesitated for a moment, considering the options after reading the entire message. "Nope, no good at lip-reading, I'm afraid," she admitted. "Rather not go to my house."

She considered the question again. "I sometimes go to the park, a coffeeshop, home, or work if I have a shift, but today I don't." She giggled. "It depends on what I want to do on specific days, based on my mood and stuff. Good moods I want to enjoy every minute, bad moods I want everyone to GO AWAY," she mimed punching someone and laughed hysterically for several seconds. "What do you normally do?"

[color=gray][u]Back home, my dad owned a Duel Runner repair shop, so I spent the majority of my free time fixing peoples' bikes for them. But, since I'm new in town, I don't really have any favorite places to hang out at yet, but I could go for a cup of coffee, if you don't mind me paying for yours as well.[/u] Jack told her [u]I was raised to never under any circumstances let a girl pay for anything, and I don't think I want to go against my upbringing just yet.[/u] His eyes smiled at Cecilia as he waited for her to lead them to the coffee shop or suggest an alternate option.[/color]

Cecilia grinned. "Awesome! Sure, it's this-a way!" she pointed her hand dramatically in one direction and began marching down the street, ignoring any looks passerby gave her way. Then again, it probably wasn't much weirder than the mannerisms of most people who played a card game. She looked back at Jack to make sure she wasn't leaving him behind, especially since she knew he couldn't actually call after her to get her attention. "They have some awesome hot chocolate and tea, plus coffee of course, and great service. It's not far, just a block or two!"

[color=gray]Jack chuckled and easily kept pace with Cecilia, mainly because, since he was easily over a foot taller than her, he had a much longer stride, and thus actually had to slow down to walk beside her, [u]I think you actually need to lay off the coffee, pipsqueak.[/u] He told her with a kindhearted smile, [u]Had I been a foot shorter, I'd actually have trouble keeping pace with you at the rate you're going.[/u] He wiped his brow with the back of one hand and started to unzip his jacket, but stopped when he looked down at Cecilia, not wanting to show her his scar just yet.[/color]

Cecilia scowled. "I'm not THAT hyperactive," she protested, walking backwards so that she could clearly read his message, even though he was walking alongside her. He had an incredibly long stride, very fitting of his height. While walking backwards, she realized she had gone too far. "Ack, it's this way," she said, spinning to change direction and walking down the street, stopping in front of the coffeeshop. "Here we are!" she announced, pointing at the sign with a dramatic flick of her hand. Without waiting for a response, she went inside, pausing only to pass the door to him.

[color=gray][U]Yes you are.[/u] Jack told her smiling, [u]It's something that I like about you, so you shouldn't bother denying it. It's very amusing.[/U] He laughed his strange almost silent laugh and held the door open for Cecilia, [u]After you, milady.[/u] His screen read as he gestured for her to enter the coffee shop, [u]Do you know what you want? I've actually never been to a place like this before, so I'm completely lost. I usually just drink my coffee black, I'm not one to mess around with all this chocolate vanilla caramel mocha swirl stuff.[/u] He looked at his screen again and added another line, [u]Besides, do you see how much easier it is to just type out 'black coffee' than to add that whole list? I think I got carpal tunnel from that line.[/u][/color]

And the Tao King descended. As he descended, he, using the powers of the god of Yin, put in fake memories of him in a previous world championship tournament into the world, and by the time he touched the ground, nearly everyone would know who he was. A professional Duelist who is only known as 'the Tao King' and mysteriously appeared at the tournament, and dominated it. He didn't care who he replaced as the champion, only that now he could do almost anything. Everything was in his grasp now. Or it should have been. As he walked, he found himself humming to himself. As he thought, he found himself thinking positive things. And then he realized that he had also given the world fake memories of him donating millions to charity, and his Yin powers made that one thing come to fruition. The god of Yin was taking over him. He needed enough dark energy to give him enough negativity to break her grasp. It was so common here.

Cecilia read the message and laughed, wiping an amused tear from her eyes. "I'm after hot chocolate, with whipped cream," she told Jack. She looked around for a moment. "It's fairly basic, doesn't insist on anything too fancy, not counting the teas, and it's a social outlet for some," she explained, giggling. Her gaze honed in on a table. "I'll find a seat while you order or pay, then," she said and she practically dashed to the table she had sighted, taking a seat. [i]Such an interesting companion. WAY out of my height class, but interesting.[/i]

[color=gray]Jack smiled and laughed with Cecilia, making a note of where she was sitting before he typed out [u]Can I get a black coffee and some hot chocolate with whipped cream, please[/u] He showed the screen to the girl behind the counter, and, after explaining that he was a mute, proceeded to have a brief conversation with her in sign language while he was waiting for their drinks. He thanked and paid the girl as soon as his coffee and Cecilia's hot chocolate were done and proceeded to make his way over to her table, [u]Here you go, hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long and got your word right.[/u] He typed as he sat down across from her and passed her the drink.[/color]

As she was waiting, Cecilia was looking out the window. She had a decent view of a few kids dueling outside and her fingers twitched, remembering the thrill and fun of a duel, and how fun it would be to show some of them how pathetic some of those Synchro and Dark Synchro monsters were. Ever since that pack came out, they had become all the rage with some duelists and especially the kids, who found the novelty of the cards to be immensely satisfying. She also knew a number of people despised the new cards, thinking them demonic or evil. She smirked to herself, turning her attention to Jack as he walked over.

"No, it's perfect," she assured him, taking the mug and sipping cheerfully. "Thank you."
