[spoiler=Gemini Stars Heralds]

282735l.jpg

Lore:

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it again to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

● Once per turn, during your Main Phase you can pay 500 Life Points to roll a six-sided die. Then Special Summon a monster from your Graveyard with a Level equal to the result of the die roll. The monster Special Summoned this way is destroyed during your End Phase.

I was told to "rank" the cards in the order I liked them, so I suppose I'll have to, instead of making this Olympic-style and just giving you all grades.

---

Six Sided Scorpion by HiroMax:

I greatly dislike this card. Not only because it performs the classic "lets add multiple card effects onto a card" instead of coming up with one, decent effect but the luck aspect somehow makes it worse. It requires a tribute, and yet half it's effects are good and half its effects are bad.

It's base attack is less then traditional 2400 benchmark set by monarchs, and the fact that you only get decent effects half the time make it abysmal. Put it on the pile of "cards to never play".

The artwork is decent.

---

Treasured Wyvern by Lord of Mysterians:

Oh great, another unoriginal card that just takes a hodgepodge of other effects and combines them into one card.

As far as effects go, they're all pretty awful. One relies on your opponent using a [spell/A/Busido?] counter heavy deck, or requires you to expend effort in doing this to your opponent, but at only 1000 points a piece, it's not looking impressive. Possibly useful in an Alien deck, but doesn't seem to mesh very well.

Second effect, possibly useful in infernities or Dark World... but Infernites and Dark World have so many better cards they could be using. The fact that this card has to survive for 8 turns to even get this far is insulting. Any decent duelist would set their entire s/t lineup anyway, so the cost of discarding may not be as harmful. I mean, it's the worst effect in the world, but it's so unlikely to happen.

Unless you're going for game, there's no point to do the 6 coin effect. And even then, you might still be giving your opponent game if he drew into Battle Fader. However, if you got it to the point you got six counters on it, your opponent probably couldn't be saved by +7 cards anyway.

The eight counter one... is that a joke or an insult? Your effect stops midway into a sentence.

The plain white background is a further insult.

Shadow Lancer by dogfish44:

... Is this going to be a recurring theme? The whole, adding over 9000 effects onto one card? Did the TC tell you to do this or something? I mean, if it keeps coming up I guess I should stop mentioning it since everyone has the same fatal flaw and focus more on the multi-effects present. >_>

The effect is rather... hmm... it's kind of okay? I mean, 3 of the effects are neutral and not too consequential (Deck, Extra Deck, Grave) but the other 3 are pretty game breaking. Keeping it alive for 2 turns and getting either of the ridiculously broken effects could instantly spell victory for you.

I think the fact that I might actually consider running a card like this if it were printed is a decent sign, considering everyone else is shying away from "playable' cards today.

Artwork is okay. Stats are not so much.

Lucky Draw by Metagross386

It's exact effect, once, makes it useless as it can be only used one time.

Assuming the effect was supposed to read "once per turn" it'd probably be my top card so far. Combine it with that... Convulsion of Nature... I think that's what it's called... or just get lucky and it becomes a pretty amazing card.

Too bad it's effect reads only "once", otherwise it'd not be as low as it is.

Card art is alright.

Dice Fairy - Angelos Summoner VI by Zextra

I'm sure you thought the borders would make it nicer, but I disagree. Stick with the original template IMO. I wouldn't consider docking points or whatever on it but it doesn't make it excel beyond or anything.

It's another one of those "roll a dice, do this" effects.

I originally thought this card was super ****ing broken, because you could easily just get Graskull dice into the grave and then just proceed to win. SS the dice, add 3 dices to your hand, summon a monster, Synchro. Use one of the dices in your hand you just added to discard and do it all over again.

But then I noticed it needed 4000 or more LP and half my posts, so it got less broken.

Overall, it's just "alright".

Pokemon- Articuno, Bird of Icy Lands by Sasuke Uchida

A guy named Sasuke presenting an unoriginal-looking card? I can't say I'm shocked.

Everyone sets chainables. If they can't, they won't set too many. Not destroyed by monster effects is... a decent protection.

Seven star, and 500/3000. Can't enjoy the fun of Trade-In, and it's typing doesn't make it a likely to be dumped and revived.

No one needs a Heavy Storm so badly that they'd tribute two monsters (or alternative use Limit Reverse), ram it into their opponents monster, and still have a 1/6 chance of it not working in their favour.

---

Gemini Stars Herald by HadesRuler

At least it had a reason for dice rolling.

Decent stats for it's level. Average effect. Sounds familiar though. I think another card used something similar.

Pretty good card art.

Negation Coin by kevin9846

Do periods not work on your keyboard? Also... Sakuretsu Armor, Negate Attack, Mirror Force, oh god. You weren't even trying here were you? <_<

Card art is... eh...

---

If I had to rank them, with one being the best and 8 being the worst, I'd make it:

[spoiler= lolscores]1: Gemini Stars Herald by HadesRuler

2: Dice Fairy - Angelos Summoner VI by Zextra

3: Shadow Lancer by dogfish44

4: Lucky Draw by Metagross386

5: Pokemon- Articuno, Bird of Icy Lands by Sasuke Uchida

6: Six Sided Scorpion by HiroMax

7: Treasured Wyvern by Lord of Mysterians

8: Negation Coin by kevin9846

Yeah, sorry about that... I just ran out of ideas for the task. (Personally, I hate making cards that deal with chance. I'm like a dog that can't learn new tricks when it comes to that. It's either coins or dice...) I hope the next task is easier...

Anyways, good job, everyone. (especially Hades :D)

I don't know who would run this over Nitro Warrior (who already isn't used at all...), but here it is:

[spoiler=Nitro Hellfire Marauder, Rampant Hicerogiant]

createcard1php.jpg

Lore:

"Nitro Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

When this card is successfully Synchro Summoned, destroy 1 card on the field. Activate 1 of the following effects based on what type of card was destroyed by this effect:

• Monster: Place this card in one of your opponent's unoccupied Monster Card Zones. During the Standby Phase, the controller of this card sends the top card of their Deck to the Graveyard. If the card sent to the Graveyard this way is a monster, the controller of this card discards a card.

• Spell: Place this card in your Field Spell Zone. Declare 1 monster Type. Halve the ATK of all monsters of the selected Type. Monsters of the selected Type can attack twice per Battle Phase.

• Trap: Place this card in your Spell and Trap Card Zone. If all Zones in this card's column are occupied, destroy all cards in this card's column.

When this card is destroyed, you can remove it from play to Special Summon a "Nitro Synchron" from your Graveyard.

Bri Knight:

267700z.jpg

"Bri Syncron" + 1 or more non-tuner monsters

When this card is synchro summoned, special summon one level 4 monster from your graveyard. For each level 4 monster you control, increase the ATK of this card by 500. When this card is attacked, you can return this card to your extra deck to end the battle phase and draw 1 card.

yes, it relies on Level 4 monsters. There are enough of those it will gain at least 1000 ATK, and it gains 600 ATK when it is summoned.

Each time an opponent's monster changes it Battle Position (except by this card effect), inflict 400 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. Once per turn, during your Battle Phase you can remove from play 1 Tuner monster from your Graveyard to increase the ATK of this card by half the ATK of the monster removed from play.
