Knox picked up his shield as he replied to the question. "Well this shield is not only used for defense. I can also use it as a weapon since its so heavy. One blow from this thing and you might need to have your brain checked for damage." Knox said the last part with a smirk. He then turned to Love after she told them about their plans. "Love since you have time police that means if we fail in our task that they can just go back in time and tell us what we did wrong?" he asked wondering how these time police work. Having to wait for your enemy to show their faces in battle is something that Knox was used to. I really hope that the enemy that we are about to fight don't have any tricks that we won't see coming.

Kikyo looked around at the city. "This place is so different from what I know." She said, in fluent english. She looked at the sword by her side. "You won't let me down, will you, my friend?" She said. The sword shook in its seath as if in reply, and she smiled. Looking around, she remembered Love had told her to be in Vayne's group, but Vayne was nowhere to be seen. Instead, his partners were. She walked foward, but stayed on the outer edge of the group, observing her team. "So many different time spaces......Ages long gone, ages before mine, ages after.....No matter when that age was around, it is now in the past. She turned her gaze back to the city. "To think so much has changed in 2000 years.."

Kyozaku calmly nodded towards Knox, an understanding in his eyes that said he realized the shield was not carried out of cowardice. He quickly returned his attention to the area about them, trying to find any sign of the enemy that was supposed to be attacking them any time soon. His anticipation was growing, but he knew that he needed to remain calm or he would lose the advantage in battle. He calmly knelt on the ground and, placing his Dai Katana across his legs as he sat back on his feet. After a few moments he closed his eyes and began to once more chant a mantra under his breath, but despite his eyes being closed, he was completely aware of the state of his surroundings, ready to react at a moment's notice.

"So, you're think they'll take it because it's time travel. That does make sense, however unless you know the technology has been stolen - or you were stupid enough not to regulate something like this - then the use of time travel by them isn't the most likely threat." Louise turned back to keep watch again. Her right eye, now an enhanced mechanical version after her real one was gouged out by shrapnel, swept out, scanning though obstacles for heat signatures. She tensed, and, idly wondering how the historical swordsmen in the same group would react, dropped the boltguns on her right arms, ready to react as soon as an enemy was seen.

****

The new arm was much stronger than her real one, which did sort of make up for the loss of it. Louise could see why people used to want these upgrades, back when it didn't mean a life of war. Plus she would always be armed now.
Her unit, along with many others, rushed forwards from the trench, charging at the enemy. The despised enemy, who did unspeakable things to children and then ate them - or at least what that they told them.
"Die monsters," she yelled as she came across enemies.
A boy, about her age, was in front of her, and saw her mechanical arm.
"You're the monster," he replied, "with that thing."
This was the first time she had even realised that being part mechanical meant less of her was human. In fury and confusion she deployed the arm blade and slashed the boy's gut open.

Raven and Veeneh pushed through the crowd. It was too hard to patrol with so many people. Even still so many people had there face concealed. Wait a minute... He thought We don't even know what these people look like! Raven got mad. How were they suppost to find those people? As if to answer Veeneh fell on the ground. A hooded figure was near him. He didn't know if Veeneh was okay. Finally some excitment. Raven thought. He withdew his spear and chased the person through the crowd. The figure went behind a building. It was a dead end, but nothing was there. Raven threw his spear down in frustration. He would help Veeneh and then go tell Love what happened. Raven got madder by the second. He worked for assasins. He should he been able to kill that guy!

Love looked around in the sky for one thing. And she found it. The thing she was looking for was what looked like a streak of light in the sky similar to a "shooting star."
"Look, over there! That's them," she called out. She took her group, and sent Star to notify Vayne's group that they were to regroup and make their way to the eastern end.

Meanwhile...

A well-built man, clad in blue armor, descended from above nearby Vayne. He carried an anchor, and was able to carry it seemingly effortlessly. The man pointed the rounded end at Vayne and called out to taunt him.
"Hey! You lost? C'mere Cowboy! Unless you're chicken."

Vayne turned around to see some weird big guy in blue armor who was carrying an anchor. "Hey Muscle head. Did you come to help me out. I am a bit lost." He took out the revolver that he used against that other guy and reloaded it knowing that a fight was about to brew and then put it back in his holster. "See I got lost from my group and now I need to pee. If you could help me find my way to bathroom I'd be most gracious." He may not have seen the part but Vayne was ready for a fight. His right hand was slowly moving torwards his knife and the other torwards his revolver.

After the attack Raven walked back to Veeneh. He seemed okay. Over to the far side of the city he could hear gunshots. Looks like the invasion has started. He thought. "Lets go regroup with Love." He said. Veeneh nodded and limped behind him. They went towards the gunfire, as Love would probably head there. More gunfire went of and it looked like a big fight was going on. Hope none of em' die, he thought, before I even get there. He caught a glimpse of someone in blue armor decending to the area they were going. He looked up. Nothing was there. "I guess they're havin' all the fun." Raven said. He started to push through the crowd even harder.

After getting his orders from Love Knox took off in search of the other group. Why would Love send me in search of the others. I have no clue how to find them in this city. Lets see we went north they went south. Knox was looking all around him trying to find the others. After a little while of running to catch the other group Knox found them, but there was a problem Vayne wasn't with the others. "Guys where is Vayne?" Knox asked as he reached the group of warriors. "Love sent me to tell you that we are to regroup at the eastern end of the city."I can't believe that we haven't been here that long and are already missing one person. Love will not enjoy hearing this news.

Hearing the sound of battle was all that Kyozaku needed to rush in at full speed with no thought of turning back. He quickly turned east to where they had been directed to go, where obviously Love knew the enemies were going to be making their attack, and took off running at full speed but with very little noise. He carried his Dai Katana in his right hand, swung back behind himself to produce the smallest amount of drag and potential danger to the innocents around him. He smirked slightly at the thought of doing what he had come to do and testing himself against the warriors of the future.

Kikyo looked up as Know told them to regroup at the eastern end of the city, and replied to his question. "I'm not sure where Vayne is. He just ran off for some reason, and as you can see, he isn't here at this moment, which may result in a problem for us." Her hand crept towards her blade. "It seems our opponent has come. Right now, we need all the men, but Vayne ran off, providing this group with a slight problem. At least we all know how to fight, so we can make up for the loss of one man." She gripped her blade. "And besides, I'm ready."

Upon being told to head to the eastern end of the city, Louise took flight - literally, the rockets in her legs busting into life and lifting her clear of the buildings. As she rose, metallic wings emerged from her back, and as she came to a stop they swung outwards. They had the general appearance of metal bat wings, with several sections, although they were far more rigid than those of the creature's they resembled. She shot eastwards, from her new vantage point able to see where the shooting star reached the ground, deploying her second set of boltguns in flight. She shot over the site and straightened up to stop, looking down on the scene.

((OOC: Is the person in blue at wherever the 'shooting star' arrived, because Louise went to the latter.))

"Well we have no time to worry about Vayne right now. We need to get to the eastern part of the city." Knox said hoping that the missing warrior will be ok. The sounds of the battle are heard from where the southern group was. Knox knowing this could be trouble takes off in that direction. So it seems that our enemy has joined us in Atlantis. Well maybe they won't all be dead when i arrive. As he turned the corner he arrived at the scene of the battle. Knox was stunned to see that some of the warriors have already arrived. One is passed out and the others are fighting the person in the blue armor. As he ran into the battle the blue armor guy attacked Knox with the anchor. Just in time he got his shield up. Even with his massive shield defending the blow Knox was pushed back a few feet. Dear God this man is a monster. He just throws that anchor around like a pebble. Even though I used my shield he still was able to push me back. "What is your name?" Knox asked the guy wearing the blue armor.
