Era Knights! Bonds through Time [IC/Started/Still, and ALWAYS Accepting]

Welcome. I hope you all have gotten caught up with this current era. If not, or if you don't remember, I'll give you a brief rundown:
[spoiler='Plot']The year is 3153. Space travel was achieved over a millennium ago. Earth's continents were unified into one nation twenty-three years ago. Time travel capabilities were achieved ten years ago. A little less than five years ago, Earth received a transmission from a group of galactic mercenaries calling themselves the Galaxy Fleet. They claim to be coming to Earth to destroy it, and create a new planet in its place. They said they are giving us five years to prepare. That entire time has almost completely passed. You all have been gathered to this one era to have all of the strengths of Earth's history and future. You are the Era Knights.[/spoiler]
Everyone good now? Perfect. Now, I'm going to lay down a few rules for you to follow. Make sure you listen:

2: No two people can be from the same era.
3: No trolling, flaming, spamming, and the like.
4: Advanced Clause applies here.
5: You get one warning. Afterward, you're banned from the RP until further notice.
6: Don't kill another user's character without the consent of said user.
7: Your weapons should pertain to your era. So I don't want to see you with a laser cannon when you're from the Stone Age.
8: Shortposting=BAD. Don't do it!
9: OOC-only posts in the IC will result in an immediate ban.
10: When you submit your application, make sure each section is a different color than the section above.

"Alright, now that you've all finished filing the papers, come into the briefing room with me. Now, our first target is the city Atlantis. Atlantis in an artificial island, built in the 30th century. It is home to our most advanced technology of the era. We have predicted that that will be their first strike. The transporter coordinates have already been set. Step onto the platform, and we'll make our way there."

[Mazerrick]

“They might already be ready. We need to be prepared for an ambush. Should I tap into the security to see if there are any breaches? Love obviously you'll be leading this mission more than anyone, as you're from this time.” *whisper* “I've probably caught up and they might have a little, but I think the people from like 800 still don't really get technology.”
“Anyway I don't think we should let our guard down unless we want to get killed.” With that, Raven stepped onto the platform. He was trying to be the leader. Love had an expression on her face, but no one could tell what it was

Veeneh was still having trouble breathing in such a polluted atmosphere. He understood what people were saying, with the translation device in his ear. He stepped onto the platform and seemed a bit confused and freaked out by the machinery, but after a few days he has learned to cope with it. His bisento was on his back and he had some herbal medicine and poison with him. His hidden knives were sharpened. He was ready not only for battle, but for war. He was thinking about the wonders he might see at the island of Atlantis. He has heard myths of the great island of Atlantis, with great inventions and beauty. He never thought it would be created in the future. He asked "Kakvo moje da ochakvam?" It was translated by the others' devices as "What can I expect?".

[Mazerrick]

Raven displayed a half smile. "I'm not sure," he said, "I know myths say its an island or an under sea palace, but thats probably not true." Raven used his Android side to say that in Veeneh's language. That seemed to please him. Raven was trying to make friends, after all you're rather to save your friends than his enemies. Raven's robotic side wouldn't allow him to have friends, only allies. "One thing that doesn't make sense, why attack the future first. The future has technology to use as a defense and an offense. I'm not talking about your time, but the past isn't as well defended. Anyways, you can't have the future withought the past." Raven just realized this. It wasn't about his plan with Veeneh, Love needed to know this. He was almost sure of one thing. The attack on Atlantis was a diversion.

[Time Psyduck]

"OK, so when did we find out our enemies had time travel?" Louise asked, stepping onto the platform, "because no-one told me that. I guess it's possible, since humanity has it, but that doesn't mean everyone does. If these people don't, then the only time they can attack is now, so when is best to attack is moot. Plus, didn't they already tell the people 5 years ago they were coming now? If they did, they obviously don't care about us trying to stop them, because if they did they could have just attacked back then." [i]So we're going to Atlantis,[/i] she pondered, falling silent. [i]I cannot let it be destroyed. It's the proof of what a united humanity can do, and that has taken far too long to be obtained.[/i]

[Sweetie Belle]

"Well, they are our enemies, so they probably stole it. But still, they aren't so stupid. We checked throughout all of history, watching you throughout your lives. I brought you here when I could safely confirm that no paradoxes would ensue. Now, if they went back and did the wrong thing, they might kill themselves." Love stepped down from her console, and walked up to Vayne Baxter, a man who lived in the Wild West era of the region formerly known as the United States. "Baxter, I want you to be my first officer. That means you have control over everyone, except me, of course. Now, is everyone on the platform? Good. I'll follow you in a bit. Someone has to operate the console." Love made her way to the transporter console. "Energize." The team was transported to Atlantis. She then headed to her quarters to retrieve a few items before leaving. "Here's my rapier, my shield... Where is it?" She began to shuffle through a few things, looking for a certain object. "Here it is! My ID Card. There, now to get to Atlantis."

Veeneh looked at what was in front of him. They were in a building. Everyone was serious so he couldn't go out and see the outdoors, though he really wanted to gaze upon the Mythical beauty of the island, though he knew it was human made, he still wanted to see it. He was really disappointed and you could see it on his face.

[Templar Knox]

Knox stepped off the platform. "This place is so more advanced then I thought it would be." Knox said looking around the area," So Atlantis the lost city from the stories we were told of during the crusades. I guess those Villagers weren't lieing to me when they talked about Atlantis." Knox looked around the area amazed by what he was looking at. He started walking forward not even knowing it. "When I was teleported to this time period I thought that just walking to the briefing room was amazing, but this place its hard to describe what my mind is thinking right now. So where do we go now?" Knox asked wondering what else he would see.

[Mazerrick]

*sigh* "Time is confusing. The only way I see it to make sense is that time is controlled in a place where time doesn't exist. Anyway It's good everything is fine in atlantis, but I don't want to be there for a month and realize my body is disapering because by ancestory were killed. I mean is there something that protects them, because if not they could easily go back and kill the first men and women. Again CONFUSING." [i]Is Atlantis under sea or and island or...[/i] He thought. Raven slowed down and took a deep breath. His adrenalin was pumping. He wished Atlantis was built in his time. He could use his robotic side to find out all kind of stuff. Raven concentrated. In his mind he saw a blueprint of Atlantis, but he couldn't tell much. He saw a small speck on the edge of the blue print. It was nothing or a secret way in. Was there a spy in the building of Atlantis? [i]No.[/i] He thought, Love was sure. And although he hated to admitt it, she was better than him.

[Time Psyduck]

[i]Why is it humans are always so keen to think the worst of their enemies.[/i] "Why would them being on a different side mean they would have stolen it. Has any of the technology gone miss..." she stopped as she found she had been transported to Atlantis. Looking around, it seemed as though it lived up to the name it had been given.

Louise stepped off the platform. "So this is Atlantis. I'm impressed - and yet I can't help feeling disappointed. If humanity had been able to work out their differences sooner, then this could have happened millennium or so ago. Still, it's here now," she added, looking at the rest of the group. People pulled from over 2000 years of history, all here together - a sight that would probably not be repeated. "So, first officer, what do we do now?"

[Sweetie Belle]

Love registered her ID Card into the transporter console. Without it, the console wouldn't allow her to transport without an operator at the console. She stood on the platform, and teleported.
"Alright, everyone, I'm here. Now calm down. I know that this is a sight to behold, but you have to be contained." Love looked around at the sporadic populations of androids and extraterrestrials, along with humans. Atlantis is a high-class city; it's for the highest social beings. You don't necessarily need money, but you need to know people. The buildings are metal, and there are no "doors" as the ancient generations call it. It's a derivative of the transporter, using the same technology. It will transport you to any room in the respective building.
"Dragonbane, Menai, Kyozaku, and Star! You will come with me to guard the northern part of the city. Baxter, you'll take the rest to the southern part of the city. Here's a map of the city. Use it, and [i]don't[/i] get lost. Dismissed!"

[Desu the Blue Nerd]

Vayne just gave out a sigh. This girl that was in charge of all of them and was way too bossy for his taste. What else was that she was a girl. Most girls he knew were prostitutes but it's a pretty good change from those idiots. As the sheriff dealing with those girls was too much of a hassle anyway. But then she made him second in command which wasn't something he wanted to do. He prefered working alone as what he was used to. It probaly saved him from being bossed around by some other person. He walked onto the platform after the bossy girl gave him the news. He examined the city. "Man, the human race really comes far." He was a a bit dissapointed though when she started giving out more orders. So...if he remembered everybody's names correctly he was stuck with Veenah, Raven, and Borghild. "Eh, screw this. When in rome do what they do." He ran off into the city not taking a map or anything. Soon getting lost.

[Aesirson]

Borghild looked after Vayne as he darted away.

"Are we not supposed to follow him?" She asked, looking at the others that she was grouped together with. She took a look at the map. "I have heard of a great city that was swallowed by the great ocean, was this it? Atlantis?"

She looked around the great city, it was truly marvelous and not at all like the villages that she was used to.

Veeneh saw that Raven was troubled, but hesitated to ask him what's wrong. He simply walked out the door and went to the nearest balcony. He looked at the outside. He couldn't breath, he couldn't speak, he couldn't move - the beauty took everything. The trees, birds, blue sky, sea, the gardens... It was incredible. Veeneh couldn't imagine it being so beautiful. He just stood, staring at the city for half an hour and returned back to the room he was transported to. He saw Raven, who was still thinking about the obvious problem he's having. Veeneh decided to talk to him "Dobre li si? Iskash li da razgledame ili da otidem nqkude?" it was translated to "You ok? Wanna look around or go somewhere?"

[Asriel Dreemurr]

The samurai dressed in purple calmly made his way to where he could differentiate himself from the group that was going to follow the unrefined and certainly disrespectful man who, if he had seen properly when glancing at his form, was from some time called the Era of the Gunfighter. He refused to show any emotion on his face, and he wasn't reeling anything at the moment, it was not the time to marvel at the unique sights about him. He calmly turned his attention to Love, unused to following a woman's orders but accepting of it. For the time being, he kept his eight foot Katana over his shoulder, but turned upward at a high enough angle to avoid striking anyone with the blade accidentally. He calmly took a look at the city map, having a bit of trouble reading it because of the language barrier but taking the time to look over it thoroughly so as to be prepared when the time came. After a few moments, he looked up from the map and stood perfectly upright, his gaze resting on Love. Though he might have seemed intense, there was also a great calm about him that would likely be reassuring.

"I am ready to follow your orders whenever you see fit to give them, my master."

[Lord of Chaos]

A large man in large decrotive plate armor walked up to the group looking at everyone there seeing a man in no armor but had a very interestingly long but thin blade attached to his belt, Richard walked towards the man "I see you fight with a blade as well my friend." Richard said calmly and tapping the hilt of one of his long swords "I am Richard Dragonbane a knight in the kings army." Richard brought one arm over crossing his chest and the other behind his back in a salute type fashion. Richard had always been very formal when first meeting people

[Desu the Blue Nerd]

Vayne was just walking around the city having no idea where he was but he didn't care. He liked the hustle and bustle of the city. It reminded him of the town he was born in. After just walking in random directions he found himself in a weird alley of a clearly bad neighberhood with a dead end. "Alley with a dead end in a bad neighberhood? Hm...what does this sound like the situation for?" He began to hear the scuffling of about five feet. Two of them began to get faster and soon go to a full sprint. The first guy had some sort of bludgeon pipe that he probaly found in the trash. You could hear it scraping against the ground as he ran. He flipped over the guy quickly kneeing him in the face as he was flipped infront of him. The flip would have taken the wind or knoch him unconcious but the knee in the face defiantly did the job. Probaly with a few teeth lost in the process. The second guy wasn't making as much noise as his friend. He was either weaponless or had something small. The guy slowed down a bit when he saw how his friend was taken out but was still rushing. Vayne kicked the second man in the face as he turned around. "Good thing you guys showed up. I was getting bored." The remsaining three men were obviously as pissed as could be. The third rushed at him with a bat and did a downward sweep. He dodged back against the wall. When the bat hit the ground Vayne kicked it at a point where the handle the guy in the balls. When he bent over Vayne elbowed him in the back of the head knocking him onto the ground unconcious. "And the there were three." The remiaining two guys seemed unimpressed. The fourth ran up with a knife. When he tried to stab Vayne he grabbed the arm with the knife and broke. The man dropped the knife and he caught it with ease. While the man was howling in pain he stabbed the healthy arm leaving the knife in it. He began to walk torwards the fifth man as the fourth dropped down still screaming. The fifth backed away a bit. The man pulled out a gun and aimed it at Vayne's head. Vayne, being the master with guns he was, pulled out his revolver and shot the gun out of the man's hands. The man got onto his knees and started to beg for mercy as Vayne walked closer. "You made me waste a bullet." He used the revolver to slap the man across the face. Teeth and blood came out but he was still alive. Just unconcious. Vayne loaded in another bullet, put the gun in his holster, and he walked out of the alley to continue through town.

[Asriel Dreemurr]

Kyozaku calmly turned towards the man wearing the heavy-looking armor. He smiled slightly as the man introduced himself and he closed one hand in a fist before grasping it in the other in front of his chest. He then bowed his head slightly in greeting, as was the custom amongst the Japanese people. Once he had risen out of his bow, he nodded is head in answer to the other man's question.

"My name is Tokimune Kyozaku, and yes I fight with a blade...though not one in the same form as you are used to."

As if to demonstrate, he calmly pulled a small piece of hard wood from a small pouch concealed inside of the coat which he wore over his Kimmono before tossing said piece of wood into the air. Without even looking at it, Kyozaku brought the eight-foot Katana which he wielded cleanly through the center of the wood as he held it in only is right hand. He then brought his blade down in front of himself, mindful not to strike anyone, and caught the two pieces of wood on the back of the blade in such a way that they remained there. He now calmly removed the pieces of wood and placed them once more within the wooden pouch, once more resting the Katana over his shoulder, still at a high enough angle to avoid striking anyone unintentionally.

[Lord of Chaos]

Richard stood amazed by the Kyozaku 's speed and accruacy "By god man." Richard's mouth was gaping under his helm, he quickly pulled himself together "I admit that was very impressive, no knight I know could have done that no matter how good they were." Richard said praising Kyozaku "I myself am a good swordsmen, but I'm in no way close to matching your speed and accruacy, but my strength was talked about all over Europe." Richard held up his rhands showing the many rings on his fingers "These belonged to some of the greatest knights of my time, they died vallaintly fighting to their last breath, but as is the ways of the knight. Fight to end or dissapear into the shadows of others." Richard frowned under his helmit he thought back to when he travled with the knights who's rings he wore [i]"If only it didn't come to that maybe the world would not be in such chaos."[/i] Richard closed one of his hands clenching it tightly, then he relaxed and brought his arms down gently looking at Kyozaku, Richard could see this man would be a very good ally, he seemed to be much like the man though different in many at the same time "I am not as graceful or as quick as you with a sword, but I am very formitable, maybe we could spar sometime....... It has been awhile since I have had a real challenge, and you seem to be a very strong ally, who could offer me a challenge no knight could refuse." Richard said again praising Kyozaku's skills

[Templar Knox]

Knox walks up to the two men talking about their skills with a blade. "So it seems that I am put in a group with a master swordsmen. So Kyozaku how long did it take you to reach this great level of skill with a blade?" Knox asked wondering how those from other eras trained. Knox is not used to seeing those from other kingdoms. He was wondering if he made a mistake by taking this offer to come help. This world is so advanced so doesn't that also mean that his weapons will be less effective. Without any warning Knox pulls out a knife and throws it into a wall to release some stress. As he is walking over to grab it from the wall citizens walking past him are looking at him as if he was crazy. "I don't think that I will ever get used to the way you people live in the future."

[Mazerrick]

Raven was looking at the island. It was beautiful. In his age about 300 years ago the Earth was still poluted. Obviously something changed. [i]They used time travel.[/i] He thought. [i]They just copied this island when the world was still pure. Before man.[/i] It was true, without man this would REALLY exist. it wouldn't just be a copy. Veeneh's question brought me back. "Ya Veeneh," he said, "I'm kinda worried. In my time they were still making blueprints of Atlantis. With my andriod technology a saw one. There looked like there was a secret way in. I thought it could be bad, but it was probably just an evacuation route. Love couldn't be wrong, could she?" Raven sighed and looked at Veeneh, he had worry in his eyes. I smiled and said, "C'mon let's go patrol the north-western area of Atlantis." He smiled back and we went off. I couldn't believe it, but my emotions were overpowering my android side. Veeneh was a friend. Someone I wanted to be around. Someone I cared about. One thing I regreted though, I didn't have total contol over my android side. Because the north-west part of Atlantis was were the breach was. One thing I regreted more, I didn't tell Veeneh.

Kyozaku nodded in appreciation at Richard's statement about knights fighting or falling into the shadow of another. That was something which he knew of all too well as a Samurai, and he was about to comment on the similarity of his culture to Dragonbane's when He was asked a question about his training by another man wearing ornate and heavy looking armor. This site made him once more regret not bringing his own suit of armor along, as well as his Kanabo. If the foes he was to be fighting would have anything like the armor those two wore, then he would need something to open them up; regardless, he maintained his expression of calm as he answered them.

"Well, Dragonbane, suffice it to say that our cultures are similar in at least that much. There is no such thing as a living Samurai who has been defeated. As for how long I trained, I have trained constantly for twelve years. I was eight years old at the time that I began my training...also I have a question for you Star. Why are you carrying a wall around with you?"

As he asked his question, he gestured to the gigantic shield which the crusader was lugging around, obvious confusion on his face.

[Time Psyduck]

Louise watched the men discuss their weapons. [i]Well, I guess wherever you go in history, some things never change. Still, it seems all three of these guys are close-combat specialists, so I guess I'm going to be most use with fire support.[/i] She raised an eyebrow upon seeing the finesse of one of the swordsmen, although it seemed to come at the price of being unable to recognise a shield. They had been out of use for centuries even in her own time, and even she knew what one was, meaning space was probably the reason he didn't know.

Louise turned to Love. "I was wandering. You suggest that whoever we're fighting would have stolen your time travel technology, but have you had any of it actually go missing, or are you assuming that because they're on a different side to you that they're nothing more than heartless monsters."

[Sweetie Belle]

Love listened to Louise's question, and responded simply.
"It was an assumption, but it's no bias necessarily. Remember the xPhone from the 2750's? It was the highest technology at the time, and it was very expensive. People who couldn't afford it ended up stealing a few models. As humanity has gotten smarter, so has the evil side of it. Thieves simply adapted to higher security, and that still happens today. But, of course, we have Time Police. They take notice of any irregularities in the timeline, and fix them. Don't ask me how; it's classified. Only the Time Police know how they do it. Now, back to the mission. Vayne's team is guarding the southern end. We're guarding the northern end. So keep watching."

[Asriel Dreemurr]

Kyozaku sighed quietly as he heard Love's command to continue waiting; despite his patience he would have much preferred going to the enemies and fighting them rather than waiting for them to come. Regardless, he remained calm and decidedly made his way away from the group a bit to better keep watch over the city. He wasn't sure where these enemies would come from, but he sure as hell was going to be ready when they came. Perhaps the odd passerby might be intimidated by him, mainly because of the unnatural calmness and focus about him, but he would pay them no mind. He began to recite a mantra under his breath to help him stay focused on the task at hand.
