"Mornin'. Nice day, aint it?" Kazuki said, nodding out of the nearby window as he straightened down a spike of hair at the back of his head. When it was straight, he started to pull on some shoulder pads. "Your a Biker, aren't you. I'd ride one, but I prefere the skate board. I'm much better on it than on a motor bike." Kazuki stated, fixing his left shoulder pad in place. "I'm Kazuki. Kazuki Medina. Nice to meet you." Kazuki said, putting a hand in front of him, for a shake. "Your name is....?"

Meanwhile, down the hall, Merido was dueling. It was only holographic duelist he was dueling, but it was still a good duelist. "I'll summon Elemental Hero Sparkman in attack mode. Then, with both Sparkman and Clayman in attack mode, I can activate Hero Fusion. This removes my monsters from play in order to Fusion summon Elemental Hero...." Merido stopped the Robot's sentence half way through, though, with a flick of his hand, revealing a trap card. "Mispolymerization, which destroys your pathetic Fusion monster, and since you have no cards on the field and a useless spell card in your hand, the field spell Skyscraper, which you cannot use thanks to my Clearing at the End - I know this thanks to my giant trunade, which sent it back to your hand, and you haven't touched it since - It's my turn. Now, I'll draw. Oh, and It's Ookazi, which destroys 800 of your life points, leaving you on 2000. That leaves my Demon Pet with 2100 ATK points wide open to destroy you.....Which it will do now. Annihalate him, Demon pet." A panther-like creature leapt from his card, and into the hologram, which shut itself down as the Demon pet vanished. "Nice duel, robot. You had me on my toes there." Merido laughed as he pocketed his deck and grabbed a packet of crisps from a cupboard.

Izumi took the offered hand. "Izumi Kimidori," she replied, "and it's nice to meet you too, Kazuki. Yes, I'm a biker," she admitted, "I suppose it was the helmet and riding suit that gave it away. Today seems a lot better riding weather than yesterday," she continued, "arriving during a storm from the direction the storm was coming in wasn't the most pleasant riding experience I've ever had on a bike."
"So," she continued, "I was wondering, what is it people around here do? I'm new in town, and was planning to orientate myself - is there anywhere in particular you'd recommend, or I should know about?"

"Well, there's the market place down on Cutler Street." Kazuki said, letting go of Izumi's hand. "It's a really nice place, though it does get a few pick pockets. There's also the arcade around the corner and the Cinema's down the street." Kazuki stepped into the Elevator as soon as the door opened, pressing the button that took it down to the Lobby. "And I'd get used to storms around here. You've come to the rainiest place in Japan, Hirasho City. Home of some of the world's best Duelists, and second most popular city for Duelists, just under Domino City." Kazuki explained, chuckling to himself. "Oh, and speaking of Duels, there's a Tournament on in a few days, with a prize of 200,000 DP, if your interested. The entry offices is at the Hirasho Stadium, the giant dome you can see from anywhere in the city." Kazuki said, bringing out his Mobile phone. "I've got a map of the City on my phone, I can send you it if you like."

"I seem to remember a friend of mine mentioning something about it raining a lot here," Izumi replied, "but the way she said it made it a little unbelievable. Guess she was right then. I could do with a map, thanks," she added, pulling out her phone, and flicked through it for the number. "Sorry, it's a new phone, I haven't memorised the number yet," she explained, before she came across it and showed the screen to Kazuki, so he could read it for himself. A tournament? Perfect. Such a large prize as well. That alone would be enough of a reason to enter, but that prize makes ideal bait for the sort of people I'm looking for.

"Well, here you go." Kazuki said, texting a pic of a map over to Izumi's phone. "Anywhere you need, it's on there." Kazuki explained as the Elevators door opened into the lobby. "Anyway, I've gotta be somewhere. I'll see you around." Kazuki said, exiting the elevator and skating over to the door, dodging a group of Elderly people, and earning a shout off of the Desk Clerk. "Sorry, Seku! I'll wait 'till I'm outside next time!" Kazuki shouted to the Desk Clerk, a man in his late 30s, already growing a bald patch. Kazuki whacked the doors open with the nose of his board, and skated off to the Stadium. The talk with Izumi had reminded him to sign up for the tournament, as he hadn't yet done it yet.
Luckily, the stadium wasn't that far away, and he'd arrived at it within 5 minutes. He walked in calmly, avoiding the stares of the out-of-town duelists, of which pretty much all were thinking he was a pathetic wannabe. However, the desk clerk was looking at him with respect and pride. "Mister Medina! What are you here for? Are you signing up for the tournament?" The desk clerk asked. "Yeah. I need the money." Kazuki said. The rest of the duelists were watching now with curiousity. "I'm sure a champion like you will win. I'm sure." The desk clerk said. "Ssssssshhhhhhh. I dont want anybody to over estimate me. A lot of these duelists look great." Kazuki said, sarcasm obvious in his voice. The duelists were shocked for a moment, before shaking their heads and walking away. One however, came forward. "You, a Champion!? Nonsense. You look like a rookie." The duelist stated. Kazuki laughed. "Wanna prove it." And grabbed the dueldisk from his back. The duelist laughed. "Fine, your on!" And activated his own duel disk.
"I'll go first." Kazuki stated, grabbing 6 cards from his deck.

As Harry threw hair at people, he realised that he was wasting the time he was supposed to be using to get to Merido's appartment. I'm wasting the time that I'm supposed to be using to get to Merido's appartment, he thought. There's only one way I'm going to be able to get there before lunch. He turned to look at an open drain cover in the middle of the street. Random line, he thought, before running forwards and dropping into the hole. After landing in.......water, he stood up, shook himself off and pulled a zither out from the ether. After climbing onto a concrete ledge, he started to play it as he walked through.......water to Merido's appartment. Catchy, he thought as sound rolled off the walls and echoed into the dark tunnel ahead of him.

Deion was sitting at the stadium watching as everyone was looking at Kazuki shaking their heads.

A so called champion, eh? I'll have to see this.

"Everybody don't underestimate the "Champion," give him a chance to prove himself. Maybe he'll show you up."
And if he is worthy he will be a great addition to the Orichalcos. But, I won't do it just yet. I'll wait to do it in front of the entire world!

He watches as Kazuki draws his 6 cards as he enters a duel. thinking to himself, Oh yeah, this is going to be good.
He looks down at his deck with the Seal of Orichalcos on top of his deck showing, trying not to reveal it to anybody. he continues to speak, but in a low voice to where no one can hardly hear him,

"This is the moment to see if he's worthy or not, this is a duel I cannot miss..."

"Thanks again," Izumi replied as the boy left, "bye then." Somewhat more calmly, she left the elevator and headed through the lobby, before turning aside and entering a large garage, where her bike was parked. She zipped her jacket up to the top, pulled the helmet over her head, and swung her leg over the bike. With a roar the engine kicked into live, echoing through the garage, as she drove the bike out of it's bay and out onto the street. Somehow the place seemed more open that it had the previous day - it was probably the sun. She'd glanced briefly at the map, and decided she'd take a somewhat out of the way route, which would mean it took longer to reach the stadium, but meant she was able to see far more of the city than if she went there directly.

After pulling himself out of a drain, Harry walked to the pavement. He paused, scratching his beard as people walked past him.

If only I knew where Merido was, Harry thought. I guess there's only one thing for it. He jumped around, facing a bemused young couple. "MUSICAL MONTAGE!" he shouted.

After a humorous musical montage, he waved goodbye to the couple that had escorted him all over the world, and knocked on Merido's door inside the appartment complex.

Kazuki sighed as a crowd gathered around the duel. "That's the problem with duels." He muttered. "They always attract way too much attention." The man he was dueling groaned. "Stop talking to yourself, junior. Or I'll have to put you through your paces!" Kazuki laughed at this. "If you say so, granddad." And looked at his hand. It was an okay starter hand, but not exactly the best. Perfect. Kazuki thought, as he scanned his cards. They wont reveal too much of my strength, and I can still beat him.
Kazuki grabbed one of his cards and set it in the spell and trap card zone, before activating a spell card. "I'll use my Flute of Summoning Kuriboh to summon a Kuriboh to the field." Kazuki stated, as he grabbed a card that had stuck itself out from his deck. He placed it in defence position, and a small ball of brown fur appeared on the field, it's green claws covering it's bright yellow eyes. "Then I'll activate Cyber Enhancement, allowing me to summon my Cyber Kuriboh Knight in attack mode." As Kazuki said this, Kuriboh was encased in a sphere of Metal. The metal slowly melted, and revealed an armored Kuriboh with a shield in it's right hand and a shield in it's left. It aimed it's sword at the other duelist, a man of 47 named John. "Now I'll summon my Cyber Kuriboh chick, which now forces both of us to discard a random card from our hand. Mine is....." Kazuki picked a random card and grinned. "......Cyber Kuriboh." He placed the card in his dueldisk's graveyard zone. John sighed and picked a card from his own hand. "Magic Cylinder." He said, placing the card in his graveyard zone. "Now," Kazuki started. "It's your turn."
John chuckled and drew a card, making 5 cards in his hand. "To replace the card you destroyed, young man, I'll activate a little insurance policy of mine, Pot of Greed."
John drew two cards before placing the card into his graveyard. "Now, I'll summon my Gladiator Beast Andal, in attack mode." With this, John placed a card in a Monster card zone on his duel disk, causing a giant bear with knuckle dusters to appear on the field. "I'll place one card on the field, now attack Andal! Gladiator Rampage!" The bear stormed towards Cyber Kuriboh Knight.
"I'm sorry, that wont happen." Kazuki said, flicking his hand forward, revealing his trap card, Cyber Reflection. "This card, Cyber Reflection, negates your attack, and increases my life points by your monster's defence points, meaning I get 1500 more life points." As Kazuki said this, a life point meter on his dueldisk changed from 8000 to 9500(Yes, we are dueling with 8000 starting Life points. Any problems?). Kazuki grinned, while John scowled. "Now, since you have nothing left to do, I presume it's my turn." Kazuki said, politely, drawing a card from his deck.

Merido sighed. Only one person could knock that hard and not break down the door. "Come in, Harry." Merido shouted as he collected up his yugioh cards off of the table. "<Arsehole>." He muttered. He sighed again and walked over to the fridge, grabbing two cans of beer from inside. "Catch." Merido stated, throwing a can to Harry as Harry walked through the door, and he slumped himself down on the sofa. "You like the Dueling Channel? I dont, but might aswell." He said, downing a gulp of beer while flicking over the channels on the TV remote. He sighed and relaxed on the sofa. "Come sit down, but take of your shoes first. I can smell 'em from over here." Merido said, staring at the ceiling.

ooc: GO MASSIVE TONAL SHIFT

After Harry had taken of his shoes, he walked over and sat on the table, placing his can beside him. He toyed with the can, adjusting its position on the table for a few seconds. Suddenly, he picked up the can and threw it at the TV screen. It shattered and the picture flickered and died. He shifted forwards, and leaned in close to Merido's face.
"Don't act like we're friends." said Harry, sneering down. "You don't like me and I.....well, I despise you." He leaned back.
"So, are you going to ask me what I'm doing here, or what?"

Deion's eyes got smaller as he seen 2 Kuriboh's on the field. Confused, he lowered his hood and rubbed his eyes just to see if it's what he seen.

"Wow, 2 Kuriboh's. Is he playing around? Or is this is actual strength on his first hand. He's not worthy of the Orichalcos. Not even that opponent of his. Ugh, this had better get better. Deion muttered.

Dartz had better not be wasting my time with this tournament. If this the competition, then this will be a breeze and a waste of time. There had better be some competition or else Dartz is goingto get what came to him.

Deion let out a little laugh as he raised his hood, folded his arms and legs, and continued watching the duel...

"I heard that." Kazuki stated, surprising Deion. "These aren't just Kuriboh's, and I dont think you'd like to come up against them." Kazuki said. He looked at his card and smiled. "Perfect." He muttered, before addressing the whole crowd. "This is an example of what happens when you underestimate a weak card." He started, touching his Cyber Kuriboh Chick. "It's family come along." And he flicked the card into the air, placing the other card from his hand in it's place. "I'll use my Cyber Kuriboh Chick's ability, which discards my Chick, in order to summon a bigger monster. My Cyber Kuriboh.........DRAGON!!!!" Kazuki caught the falling Cyber Kuriboh Chick just as a flash of light blinded everyone, and as the Chick entered the graveyard, a loud gasp russled through the crowd. In front of them, unbelievably, was a giant, mechanical, Dragonoid with a Kuriboh in it's chest. "Now, although it wont do any damage thanks to my Chick, My dragon is going to attack." When he'd finished, the giant Dragon let out a beam of light, which eradicated the bear instantly. "Now, it's your turn." Kazuki said, grinning.

Merido laughed. "Your FRIEND!? Dont make me laugh. I wasn't being friendly, I was being polite. You are an employee of mine. And that TV wasn't mine, so the repair bills will be coming out of your wages." Merido chuckled again. "And get out of my face, your breath stinks." He said, just before swapping places with Harry, pinning the Hobo to the Sofa with strength that didn't look like it should be there. "Do you think I became leader of Oblivion as a laugh? No, it's because I'm good. You may not understand most of what's going on, but that's because you are stupid. I do want to know what you're doing here, but I reckon it's probably because you want to know what the plan for us is. At the moment it's money. Lots of it. And you dont seem to be doing a great job of that, because your living on the streets. Hell, you obviously LIKE it there, because you rejected the offered apartment from us. So stop acting like an arse, because I've got a friend who's dying to meet you." Merido said, a strange image shimmering behind him as he said it. It looked similar to the card he had in his hand at the time, the KnightMare card. "Get the message?" Merido asked, dropping into a nearby armchair.

Hmmm, well looks like this kid has got some potential after all. Maybe instead of taking his soul, I can recruit him. Dartz might even promote me if I do. It's worth a try.

Deion gets out of his seat and walks outside. Grabbing his phone he dialed a number, and it wasn't any ordinary number. The ordinary phone number has 7 digits minus the area code, Deion just looked as if he was playing with his phone when he was dialing. He then put the ear piece up to his ear. A few moments later...

"Yes Deion? I would hope this is an appropriate reason to be calling. You know we can be tracked." It was Dartz on the other line.

"Master, I have a proposal for you. And I have a feeling it's an offer you cannot refuse"

As Deion finished his sentence he gave an evil grin. Anyone who got a glimpse of his face got the goosebumps from this grin.

There was a pause followed by..."Go on..."

Izumi's bike rolled into the parking for the stadium. Quite a few cars were here, although whether they belonged to people inside or to people in other shops nearby she couldn't be certain. After ensuring the bike was secure, she pulled off her helmet, put it into the box on the back, and pulled her hair from inside her jacket, where it wouldn't fly about on the road, but where it was less comfortable. She walked into the entranceway, only to find Kazuki in the middle of a duel with some other guy. So he uses Kuribohs she noted. They seem more powerful than most though. She made her way around the duel, past some guy muttering something about an offer, to the front desk, and began to fill out the registration for the tournament.

"Master, what if I can recruit someone to help in our quest for the perfect humanity?"

"What are you saying? We bring some kid off the street to harness a power so great the gods failed to lock it up? And not only our lives, but our destiny as well on the line? Deion think again before you come to me with such a foolish request." As Deion was hearing rustling on the other end, he knew Dartz was hanging up. He had to act fast.

"Master wait! What if I can teach him the hidden powers of the Orichalcos?"

"Deion, not even I know all of the secrets. What makes you think..."

Dartz gets cut off, "What if I offer something valuable in exchange if I fail."

Dieon starts to think twice as to what he just said, but soon realizes it's too late to go back on it.

"You're saying you'll risk your soul? Just to help recruit someone who won't have the ability to hold this power? Fine, you're on Deion. Just remember, if you fail, I'm going to make you suffer."

"Don't worry master, you have NOTHING to worry about." Letting out a small smirk.

"Fine, until then. Oh and Deion? Don't EVER interrupt me mid-sentence again. Or else..."

*CLICK*

What did I just get myself into. I need to get this kid to serve the Orichalcos, and fast. Or else Master Dartz will have my soul. Deion puts his phone back into his pocket and continues back inside.
