"What the devil is that noise!?" he cried aloud, as his doorbell sounded. Picking up his blade from beside his bed, he dragged it towards the front door. Peering through the peep hole, he gazed into the eyes of a very burly, buff young man. Victor opened the door, slowly, with a polite greeting, despite hating to do so.

"How may I help you?" he questioned to the well built young man.

"Sir, I'm from the local Tax Office, and it appears your mortgage has not been paid in over six months. Unless you can come up with a payment in the next 24-hours, we'll have to repossess your home," the young lad told Victor.

Victor looked like he had seen a ghost. "But, my banking account is linked directly with the Tax Office. They should have withdrawn whatever payments were needed," he pleaded.

But the young lad only shook his head. "I'm afraid your account was empty sir. Apparently funds had been withdrawn for other mea-- GAH!"

Victor gripped the boy by the throat, staring into his eyes. A distorted voice coming from Victor's lips made the boy cry out for help. "You won't be returning to the Tax Office. Nor will anyone be taking my home," Victor said in his twisted voice. Before further screams of help could be heard, Victor slammed the door.

"Come on Savas if you do not hurry up I will leave you behind!" a young girl, about the age of eight if anyone had to guess, shouted on top of a hill to her personal guard whom was taking his time trotting up. The only response she got was his loud laughter and she gave a huff, her light green hair swaying in the wind as she did, "Come on I want to go find the Composer's Sheet Music before anyone else!"

"Well that is going to be hard considering no one knows if it really exsists or not Lady Calliope," the guard retorted, placing in his usual sarcastic laughter, and finished climbing the hill. To anyone else who would look at them the pair seemed drastically different. The girl was young and cheerly with bright eyes that held such innocents; her manner of speaking was also regal, as if she was well taught. The man on the other hand, was a big burly man with the sterotypical muscles upon muscles. As bright a color as the girl had, the man's clothing and physical coloring was the exact opposite. His hair and eyes were dark in complexion and his clothing was made up of all black. Looking out at the setting sun the man spoke up, "Looks like we'll be camping out in the woods again Lady Calliope, I do hope this isn't a bother for you."

"Not at all Savas," she retorted with a grin, "Tis always plesent to sleep under th' stars!"
