Braner
The boat cut through the water as it approached Sinnoh, drawing closer and closer to it as every second passed. It was a little speed boat with an aged man at the helm, but he was agitated, as his cargo was quite important and he was afraid that if he messed up in anyway he would lose his boat. The trip had been quite all the way, which was odd as usually many boats would be passing too and from Sinnoh, filled with tourists and sailors, all itching for a battle. Yet today was no normal day, and the boat was no normal boat, as it was carrying some of the most powerful people in the world. The Elite Four. As the boat neared the island the weather got significantly colder, and before long snow was falling upon the blad head of the old man, they were approaching the cold city of Snowpoint in the north of Sinnoh. As they drew closer there came a surpirse, most of the other boats docked there were in a state of dis-repair. The old man took a deep breath at the sight and drew the vessel closer to the dock. Ever so slowly he inched closer and closer to land before he finally hit it with a thud. The passengers were nearly knocked off their feet as the boat hit the land they all were waiting to arrive at. Finaly the old man turned around, with a strained smile "Hope ye brough yere winter clother, cause its cold up 'ere" He smiled as the passengars one by one thanked him and exited the boat. As soon as they left the smile left his face and we turned pale. "I 'oppe they know what they're doin'" And then he turned his girl around and shot away, thinking that whatever was going on it must be big. Little did the poor old man know that bringing the Elites to that Island would be the most important thing he ever did.
Time Psyduck
Half a lifetime at sea gave Gilbert Sullivan good balance on the water, and as a result the bump of the water barely affected him at all, letting him step out of the boat first, with a speed that would be unexpected of most men his age. He turned back to the man who had brought them, and gave a salute, before turning to look at the other boats in the docks. All of them seemed to have been out of use for some time, which was strange. It was also quiet. Too quiet. He walked away from the town, and looked back out at the ocean, the small boat retreating from the shore. He turned back inland. "Well, looks like we better be going then," he told the others, heading towards the snow-covered town."
!Supra¡
High up in the skies of Sinnoh, particularly near Snowpoint City, a helicopter was making its way towards a large area deeply covered by snow. The pilot was confident in his abilities to pilot the helicopter safely downwards, yet he was rather cautious in his movements. It could be implied that the pilot was nervous due to the fact that he was carrying in his helicopter the League Champion, Gauge Easton. "Mr. Easton, we've arrived at the destination near Snowpoint City. You should be able to travel there by foot. I'm sorry that I can't get you there myself because this helicopter is too big and it'll be dangerous landing there. However, I'll be able to get you down from here. Just hold tight alright?" The pilot was ready to navigate down just enough for Gauge to exit the helicopter, but high up enough that the helicopter won't sink into the snow. "No need for further actions pilot. I'll be able to get down from this height by myself. You've done good work. I'll make sure you'll be well paid for your services." After saying that, Gauge stood up and walked towards the exit. "W-Wait! That's too dangerous to jump down from this height! Even if you don't die, you'll suffer some serious injuries!" The pilot was rather scared at the thought of having the League Champion risk his life. Gauge gave a light chuckle then took a pokeball from his belt. "Who said anything about jumping? Go Charizard!" Charizard was released from its pokeball, roaring adamantly upon released. Charizard then flew near the chopper and Gauge jumped onto Charizard's back. "Alright! Thanks again for your help! Charizard, let's go!" Upon saying the command, Charizard dashed off with amazing speed, leaving the pilot in awe. Charizard was headed towards Snowpoint City upon Gauge's command. "So I'm supposed to meet up with the members of the Elite Four at Snowpoint City huh?" Gauge began looking around towards the ground. He witnessed signs of destruction everywhere, yet the setting was rather calm. "What happened here?" Gauge asked in awe of the destruction beneath. Fader
Blaze Duncan entered the island. "C'mon buddy!" He released his Arcanine who brushed against his legs instantly warmint them. "I think we should heat the area a bit don't you think Arcanine?" Blaze said to his Arcanine. "Arca!" The Arcanine said in agreement while nodding. "Alright, Arcanine use flame thrower!" The fire came from his mouth heating the area. The fire heated him. "I wish Blaine were here to see our improvement, right Arcanine?" Blaze looked at Arcanine. His pokemon nodded. !Supra¡
Charizard was now nearing towards Snowpoint City, with Gauge eagerly awaiting to get to the situation at hand. "Almost there.... Huh, is that a group of Snovers down there? What are they doing just gathering around a destroyed cabin like that? I should probably go down there and take a look at the situation. Charizard, down...." Upon hearing Gauge, Charizard began its descent towards the ground. Gauge was fixated on the strange behaviors of the Snovers. Finally reaching ground, Gauge got off of Charizard and cautiously approached the three Snovers. Gauge stood back quietly and observed the Snovers' behaviors. "(Strange.... It appears the Snovers are just standing there with very little movement.... It also seems that the Snovers' attention are on this destroyed cabin for some apparent reason....)" Gauge thought deeply to himself, but wasn't that surprised considering the reports of pokemons aggressively attack people in Sinnoh, causing mayhem and panic. Gauge wasn't the type to take action without first thinking things through, so he continued to stand there quietly. However, it appears as though the Snovers have noticed him while he was up in the sky. One of the Snovers turned around towards Gauge and used Ice Shard to attack Gauge. Gauge was rather surprised that they had already noticed him even though he took very cautious procedures. Without a second to waste, Charizard lashed out with a Flamethrower to destroyed the incoming Ice Shard without causing harm to the three Snovers. "Thanks a lot Charizard...." Gauge then stared into the three Snovers' eyes, sensing harsh anger and frustration. "These Snovers.... What's causing such intense rage in Sinnoh's pokemons?" The three Snovers fiercely returned the gaze, their eyes showing visible reddish coloration. They looked as if they were about to attack again. Charizard quickly roared out with an immense voice, discouraging the Snovers from attacking and finally, driving them away. Gauge then looked to Charizard, "Well whatever the case may be, we need to get to Snowpoint City to meet up with the others. I'll make sure to get to the bottom of this...." Gauge quickly hopped back onto Charizard and they once again left towards their destination, Snowpoint City.
CrystalCyae
Shikoya stepped lightly off the boat into Snowpoint City, her amythest hair sweeping in front of her eyes. With an irritated sigh she burshed her hair away. Looking around, she could tell something was wrong. "Last time I came here, the town was full of life, everyone going about their daily buisness. Now, it's almost like a ghost town..." She said fearfully. Looking back at the sea at the distant land she could hardly see, she noticed a furious looking mantyke battle a marril, and both pokemon looked furiously angry. Shikoya shook her head. "What happened here..."
Time Psyduck
Gilbert's boots crunched through the snow as he moved towards the Pokémon centre. The silence was rather ominous, the only sounds being his colleagues behind him. The ever present hum of generators was missing from this pokemon centre, which was cold and silent. "This isn't good," he muttered, rushing forwards and pulling at the door, forcing it open against the protests of the dead automatic sliders. Inside was just as cold as outside, and without the lights, it was rather dim. "Hello!" he shouted, "Is there anyone in here?" he paused, as his own echo faded, listening for a response. Braner
Alec stepped out of the boat and took a deep breath, he was never a fan of the sea, he also hated snow, actually there were very little things he actually liked. He surveyed the surrounding area as his companions stepped out of the boat. All the homes were abandoned and falling apart, there was no movement at all within the town. His hands brushed his Pokéballs in anticipation of an attack, but nothing came. Soon his eyes drifted to the gym, perhaps the ledear had survived the wide spread destruction, maybe survivors had taken refuge in the gym, perhaps they were all holed up. He made his way through the snow towards the gym, beckoning to his companions to follow him in. "If there was one safe place in this entire town this would be it." He said as he brushed the pure white snow off of his black suit. As he drew closer to the gym he realised the door was broken open, and there was nothing inside except darkness, not that he didn't love the dark and quite, its just that there was something eerie about this darkness and silence. Fader
Blaze looked around. "Nobody here is there Arcanine." Blaze said to his furry companion keeping him warm. "Arca?" The Arcanine said sniffing the ground. "You smell something Arcanine?" Blaze asked his companion. Arcanine lifted his head up. "Glalie!" Blaze said at the Floating head. Arcanine gave it a harsh growl. "He looks angry. What is it Mr. Glalie?" The floating head said nothing, but reared back and used ice beam at Arcanine. "Arcanine, use Extreme speed to dodge it and ram it into the tree!" The Arcanine did what was told and with Unfollowable speed he reared out of the way and smashed into the Glalie that was sent into a tree knocking a pile of snow on it. "There, KO'd or not, it should buy some time. Him and his Aracnine co ntinued to look around. 'That temple over there! Lets investigate!"
!Supra¡
After awhile of nonstop flying, Gauge and Charizard finally reached their destination, Snowpoint City. "Here we are.... Charizard down...." After landing, Gauge noticed several footprints in the snow. "Must be from the group.... It seems as though they're checking out the buildings.... Charizard, you've done a good job, now rest. Return.... Now it's time to go search for the others...." Gauge fastened his backpack tightly to prevent it from falling off and began to trek through the snow. Gauge picked up on some strange signs of destruction in the form of a nearby house. "What's this? This house looks like it has been burned down.... It's unusual to see a house being burned down in a place like this.... And by the looks of it, this house has been burned down for quite some time before me or any of the others even arrived here.... Strange.... And the snow doesn't seem as steep as it usually is.... Maybe someone burn some of the snow away, actually, this looks like the work of a pokemon, and a pretty strong one at that.... The falling snow will bring the deepness back to its normal level, but by the looks of it, the snow was burned away rather recently. One of the Elite Four must have done it, preferably Blaze had one of his pokemons did it, and knowing him, it's probably Arcanine...." Gauge continued onwards, trying to find the members of the Elite Four. Before the Sinnoh incident, Gauge was assisting Professor Birch with field work over in the Hoenn region. Gauge never would've thought that such a terrible thing would happen. Gauge recieved a late notice from the Elite Four about this incident and immediately rushed to get ready to head for Sinnoh. Gauge continued to walk through Snowpoint City, observing the area without making much noise. He didn't wanted to attract any unwanted attention. If he could, Gauge would refrain from any battles with the enraged pokemons here.
Fader
As Blaze ran over to the Tower he remembered what he was doing before it.(Wow ~Supra~ gave me an idea.) Trying to find Entei with Proffesor Elm and a fan of his with a Cyndaquil. Flashback: "So Elm, I heard Entei sometimes comes for a visit here in the Johto region?" Blaze said to the Proffesor. "Yes, he tends to appear anywhere around the Johto region." Elm said to Blaze. "So Blaze What is it like being in the Elite four?" Said the little boy with the Cyndiquil. "It is a ton of Responsibility for one, it has some good points though, a Trainer comes, We beat him, on a rare occasion they can make it to my Fiery room. Oh, It seems I need to go back to the others, trouble in Sinnoh!" Snowpoint: Blaze looked at Arcanine. Arcanine looked at Blaze. Then, they both looked at the Temple. "Legend says Regigigas once came here, Maybe the problems came from here!"
Braner
Alec exited the gym after awhile of searching, there was nothing inside, unfortuantly. His attention next turned to the Temple, the one rumoured to house an ancient and legendary Pokémon. He scoffed at the idea that such a powerfull Pokémon would be found at this town, but you can never be too sure. He approached Blaze who was already standing outside of the temple and spoke with him. "Planning on going inside, boy?" His voice has solemn and depressing as usual, even the current events had not phased him. "If you are you might wait for the rest of the group, that way no Pokémon can jump you and rip you apart." He said darkly. He then finally picked a Pokéball and let loose one of his companions "Go, Houdoom" He grunted as he let loose his canine friend. His thinking was that Arcanine and Houndoom might make a half-decent team, if Blaze could keep up with him.
Time Psyduck
"Nothing?" Gilbert muttered, heading deeper into the building. "Pokemon Centres are a pillar of the community, especially for an isolated place such as this one. For it to be abandoned..." He reached for a pokéball. "Empoleon, keep an eye open," he cautioned, "something's very wrong here." The penguin pokémon nodded, and turned to face the other direction, as his trainer moved over to the PC. Oddly, it was still running. Even more oddly, someone was calling it. "Hello?" he asked. "There's someone there!" came a shout from the other end. "Listen, whoever you are, you have to help us, we're in-" At that moment, the screen went blank, and the computer died. "Empoleon..." the pokemon gave a warning. Gilbert turned to find an Abomasnow forcing itself though the building towards them. "I don't think he's happy to see us," he noted, pulling his hat back on. "Empoleon, make this quick, Flash Cannon." A beam of light rushed from the penguin, striking the snowbound tree, and pushing it out of the building. "A bit overboard, maybe?" he questioned, "but I guess it did the job. Well, I guess this place is devoid of everyone, although we know there are people somewhere in the region." He looked about, and saw both Blaze and Alec outside the temple. "I'm going to guess we're taking that thing as a group," he commented, recalling his pokémon for the moment. He didn't really have a 'fast' pokémon, at least not on land, so if they were going to rush it would be faster to have them in their pokéballs. "So, find anything?" Fader
Blaze nodded, "The Snowpoint Temple of course, Legend says Regigigas roams here." He said to Gilbert. Blaze was always somewhat impatient and walked inside. "Wow, this place is evven more torn down then before and the path is slick. Arcanine, can you return, I remember that Nintails knows sunny day. As Arcanine returned another Pokemon appeared, it was a beutiful fox like pokemon with 9 tails. "Ninetails, Sunny Day!" Blaze said to his pokemon. The ice slowly melted and made it easy to walk. "Hey Ninetails you wanna stick around." Blaze said to Ninetails. 'Nine." Ninetails said. "Ok then, return." Blaze said as he returned..
!Supra¡
Gauge continued to trek through the city, looking for any members of the Elite Four yet to no avail. "Hmm.... It looks like they'll be harder to find then I thought.... Oh well, no use for whinning over it...." After awhile, Gauge stumbled upon the temple in Snowpoint City. "Huh? This is the temple where Regigigas is said to be in a deep slumber.... Maybe they're in here...." Gauge proceeded into walking in from a different side of the temple without knowing it. "This place is rather cold, maybe even colder than the outside, but I'm surprised at how well lit it is.... This light doesn't seem to be a natural occurence however.... Maybe they are here.... Goruugu, come...." Gauge released Goruugu from its pokeball. Goruugu was a rather big pokemon and considering their current setting, Goruugu lightly reminded Gauge of Regigigas. "Well let's go.... The others shouldn't be too far away."
Fader
While Blaze waited he was reliving a pokemon battle a long time ago. Flashback: "Alright Growlithe use this!" Blaze gave his Growlithe a fire stone. "Wow, Grolithe?" Blaze said. "Arcanine!" Said the Newly evolved Arcanine. "Okay then Arcanine, Extreme speed on his Blastoise!" Arcanine ran at Blastoise. "Now combine it with Fire Blast!" Arcanine's now fiery dash landed right on The Blastoise knocking it into a wall. "Winner, Blaze!"
CrystalCyae
Shikoya watched as the group split, checking buildings and other places. Glancing around, she saw Blaze walk towards the Temple nearby, and decided to follow. Thinking that danger might be near, she reached for a Pokeball. "Go, Salamence!" She whispered. The red light shot out from her Pokeball, revealing the large dragon. "Ok Salamence, lets go explore the Temple." They walked foward, and Shikoya noticed how quiet it was. She could almost hear the sound of the snowfall, for how quiet it was. She walked up to the entrance of the Temple, and decided to see if any of the others were coming too. Braner
The group were finally ready to set into the temple, they prepared themselves as they headed deep into the ruins. It wasn't overly cold thanks to Blaze's Ninetails using it's Sunny Day, heating the place up. As the Elite Four headed deeper into the cave something was very wrong. The place was devoid of life, not a peep from anything, Pokémon or Human. The traveled through the long, narrow, winding corridors of the Temple until they reached a big clearing where a large statue stood. It resembled some type of Giant and it stood in the middle of the room. The Elite Four approached it to take a closer look
Fader
Blaze smiled. "That is the Pokemon, that is the statue of Regigigas." Blaze said pointing out the obvious. "However the temple is abondoned every other place is in ruins practically but the ruins and statue don't even have a scratch, or Slash, or Cut, Or Fury Swipes!" Blaze said making a joke. "You can never be to Cautious though," He said pulling out a pokeball. "Go Magmar!" A Pokemon covered in fire appeared. "Magmar!" It said. "Recently Myself and Proffesor Elm have been trying to get him to evolve into a Magmortar, which is hard at times because I cant always make him battle, but when he does he reallt likes to use fire punch." Blaze said. The magmar began prodding his finger into Blaze's chest. "Ouch, Hey what do you want?" He said. "Magmar!" It replied of course. "Your shy? You will be okay!" Blaze said putting a large hand on the Magmar's shoulder.
CrystalCyae
Shikoya looked in amazment at the massive statue in the centre of the room. "Regigigas" She thought, moving closer for a better look. Reaching the statue, she noticed that whilst the rest of the Temple was in ruins, the statue hadn't a single scratch. "That's odd....Last time I came here this statue was partially damaged." She remarked, recalling her journey through the Sinnoh, and her visit to this temple. "Also, this statue is definitely not new, as it is the same type and shade as the rocks from this temple." She frowned. "And I don't see how rock can remold without changes being easily seen."
