Zanza was silent. Then spoke,"I am willing to destroy this Yami Bakura, even if it means destroying Nero. He shall pay for sending a Kotsuzuka to the Shadow Realm." He went on, "I will even put my life on the line, and duel him in a Shadow Duel. It won't be the first time. I've met a fair share of Shadow duelists, and not one of them survived." Zanza got up. "I'm gonna hit the sack for now. I'm worn." He left the room.

Meko wtached as his Demon king was destroyed and his life Points went down. Alright My turn, I draw now I'll set one card and end my turn." Meko said as he plaied his only card. 'Now lets see what he does after that.' Meko thought to himself, As he looked out over the ocean and then up at the crows nest and then acrossed the field at Rectik. "It's a nice night isn't it!?" Meko shouted across the field as Recteik drew his card. "So What's your move kido?" He add quickly. He then looked over his card on the field. 'I have him this time. I just need to hold out long enough to get a good monster and finish him in one shot.' He thought.

Alex Kaiba craked his neck, and Nero started shuffling note cards.

"Whats with that kiddo stuff I we're the same age." He looked at the card in his hand. "Awww hell I play the spell card , Act of Desperation, I pay half my life points to draw 5 cards." 2200 / 2 = 1100 He drew the cards and stared at his hand. "I don't beleive it." He sighed. "I set two cards face donw and call it a turn." H ran through his deck in his mind. "I should have drawn a monster I could use. Guess its your move Meko, lets see if your karma's as bad as mine." CIH: 3 M:0 FD:2 LP: 1100

"Well I was just goffing off with the kiddo thing to waste some time. Now I draw and Ill play my Thormal - Ice Flame Dragon by removing from play two monsters in my grave now I'll end my turn by doing this Good game. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Nha I'm just playing im not going to do anything but end my turn." Meko said trying to have some fun. "so what do you say to that buddy?" Meko stared over the field and woundered what Reitek had on his field so he could attack but it wouldn't make the duel any fun.

All in order to gather it... pure energy... Pure shadow Energy is all I need."[/i] Veniciano thought to himself as he finished his dinner and headed out onto the deck of the ship. [i]"God, what is it that I shall do? Wait?"[/i]

Recteik stared at Meko's monsterous Dragon. " Holy crap, You had a beat stick like that whating in the wings?" He was impressed, Meko was an excellent Duelist if some what of a goofball. "Well then I'dmake my move. Draw! I set 1 card facedown and Normal Summon Colour Guard- Salvo the Yellow." ATK: 1600 He scaned his hand and I activate another Pigment Scythe on Salvo." 1600 + 600=2200 "Meko your right this has been a good game and I've decided to accept your offer. Salvo! Attack Meko's Ice Flame Dragon!" As Salvo luanched a volley fof missiles and the dragon it countered with a guaght of pale blue flame that engulfed the missiles, Salvo and the rest of Recteik's Life Points. Recteik walked up to Meko and with a smile on his face offered his hand. Meko shook it andafter a few parting words they both went to bed.

When Meko woke up in the morning and looked at the clock on his bed side table it read 8:00 A.M. "Man I should have set my alarm." He said as he loked out the windo as he got dress, He went bug eyed and his jaw dropped. "Were here, Were at the Kingdom, Yes!!!!!!!!!!!" He shouted as he walked to the mess hall for breackfast. as he sat down to eat he looked around but couldn't find Recteik. "Damn where is he I want to talk to him about where we should go first and tell him that I really only like to duel in the drak but if I have to I'll duel during the day." Meko thought to himself. he begains to eat and tap his fingures on the table.

[Recteik Shade]

Recteik had been standing on the deck of the ship since before dawn. He always was up to watch the sunrise. he'd had an early breakfast and was waiting near the stern of the ship. It was almost 11 am before Recteik found Meko in the dinning hall restlessly tapping his fingers. "You look annoyed." Recteik said sitting across the table from him. "I've been wiating here for almost half an hour," hesaid a with an edge to his vioce. "I've been up since Dawn," Recteik said casually. That seemed to catch Meko off guard. "Well I guess its no big deal. I wanted to talk about our game plan." Recteik was surprised," You can be serious when you have to be. I took you for a goofball with skills. Allright what did you have in mind?"

Carlos got out of bed after a long day yesterday. He loooked at the window. He could see the island there! And right now, it was 8:30 AM. He was a late sleeper. In the future, the location of the Milllenium Items were a HUGE mystery. The Millenium Items had returned years after the duel between Yugi and Yami. He picked up his deck holder and pulled out Red Nova Dragon. He needed to go home, He could greatly disturb both the future and the present. He ran outside and walked into the lunch room to have some breakfest.

"Well I was woundering where we should start our Island journey and I wanted to let you know that If we get into any latenight duels or anything in a cave or stuff like that My monsters are perfect for it. I was thinking of stopping by the ships card shop before we leave for the Island so I can get two new cards for my deck." Meko said as he slurpped down his milk and Then the two friends walked down to the card shop. "Hello Do you have a Sub-Zero Dragon and Thormal - Flare Ice Dragon in stock?" meko asked to card shop owner. "Yes just one of each tho, So they're kinda pricy." the owner stated. "I'd like to by them so hand 'em over and tell me what i owe you." Meko said witha stinging edge to his tone. "Ok. Here they are. They're both $60." Recteik looked at meko. "120 Dollars for two cards are you crazy?" He asked. "No i'm not crazy I have an ace up my sleave. Well 4120 is a little high so why don't I offer you this." Meko slide a card to the owner. "Now how about $80 for both of those cards." He added. "Well Mint condition looks like you've had it in this case forever. Well this card is a one of a kind card so I'll give you both of those for this and $75." the owner stated and Meko hand him the cash. "So what was that card you gave him." Recteik asked. "It was a my frined from industrual Ilutions made. It is called 'Land of the Graves' It's effect is all cards in both players graves, Hands, and feild are Removed from Play then both players Draw five New cards and can play one level five or lower monster to the field in face up defence position. I have one more in my deck."

[Recteik Shade]

"Dangerous card. I hope thoughs dragons are worth it." Recteik was supprised that anyone would just trade away such a powerful card. "Did you need any cards before we go ashore?" Meko asked. Recteik shook his head,"My deck is more than perfect for me. Adding a new card or two might screw up the balance." As they made their way off the ship most of the passengers were gathered on the docks milling around waiting for the annoucment that the Tounament had begun. Recteik and Meko stood at the edge of the croud. Meko was scanning the croud for likly targets. Meanwhile recteik looked over the silloette of the island. He nugged Meko,"Over there is a quiet forest. Should be a nice place to pick off any stagglers. What do you think Meko?"

Dimitry looked at Recteik. "So you think we should start there? Ok we'll head there and then hang out in a tree, During the day you can drop down on opponents disk ready and armed, And challenge then for one start untill you get three or four, Then go for two stars a duel. Once Night falls I'll duel and take out as many weaklings as I can." Meko said with an evil look in his eye as he claimbed a tree with pleanty of leaves so that no sun light would hit him. and laid on a wide breanch untill he fell back to sleep. He be came restless in his sleep and fell out of the tree. "Guess I need to use this." He said as he pulled a rope out of his bag and wove it in to two hamiks. "Here's one for you to hang in a tree over there and one for me here." Meko said as he claimed back into the tree and hung his hamik, But couldn't sleep so he sat and waited for an opponent to walk by. After about ten minutes Davise walked by and sat at the base of Meko's tress. 'shoul I ask him to move or join us or should i finish him now?' He questioned. "Davise hey up here." Meko spoke from a breanch just above him. Davise looked up. "Oh no it's yopu please just take my chips and let me go home now I don't belong here." He begain to cry. "Davise Don't cry If you want to leave the Island I'll take your chips but to make it fair take this." Meko hand the boy $125 and took his chips. "Thank you so much Dimitry now I can leave this dreadful place." Davise cheered as he went back to the boat and reboarded. "Recteik come here. You remember Davise right well he wanted me to take his chips so he could go home but it felt wroung so I bought them from him here you can have one there were only two."

Zanza was at the dock, waiting for Veniciano to show up. He swore, if that kid just used him for info..!But he doubted it. Most thrill-seekers, like Veniciano, would be happy to have a partner. However, something about him, it seemed as though he was holding back something...In the meantime, he shuffled his deck. It was a habit he developed whenever he was waiting. As he was shuffling, he felt a sense of foreboding, but ignored it.

[Recteik Shade]

Recteik took the Star Chip and locked it onto his glove. Davice was walking away when Recteik made a quick choice. "Hey Davice! Come here a sec." He dropped outta the tree and ran to Davice. "Here I want you to have this. You'll be a champion with this for sure." Davice took the card from Recteik and gasped,"I can't take this." He tried to hand it back but, Recteik didn't take it. "The ship will be leaving soon. You should go." He turned and walked back to the tree. "Recteik, Thank you." Davice turned and ran for the ship. As Recteik climbed up to his hamock Meko asked,"What did you give him?" Recteik cracked an eye open,"Just a little dragon to boost his confidence."

Back on the Ship Davice stared at the card Recteik had given him. "I'll be sure to become a champoin and, I'll make sure we duel again some day. I'll prove I'm worthy of your Moonsoul Dragon."

THe next day, Veniciano awoke to see that everyone was heading towards the dock, he got ready and left, walking towards the dock with the card "God" in hand. [i]"Inclinat se ante omnia te ... none suberunt ... All curabit tua gratia ... none suberunt ... All timebunt te ... none suberunt ..."[/i] thinking to himself in a sort of trance as he approached his new "partner". "Ciao Zanza. Buongiorno." Veniciano said slowly passing by Zanza, "Are you coming?" he said coldly as he placed his card back into the deck, walking on the rather long dock.

As always Recteik was up to greet the Dawn. It had been a quiet night most people seemed stay in the open. Meko was already asleep after his night post. He snored lightly in the tree where he slept. If you didn't know the sound you'd mistake in for some animal in the tree. Recteik was standing in a small clearing when he heard," Hey you Duel me!" Recteik turned to see a boy about 16 standing with his duel Disk already on. " Not leaving me much of a choice are you?" He said with a laugh. The kid scould at him,"Just turn on your Duel Disk!" Recteik was amused by the kids forcful nature. He activated his Duel Disk,"I'm Recteik Shade and, you are?" "What does that matter? I'll wager 2 star chips." "Where I come from duelist are on a first name basis. Either you tell me or thisis over before it starts." The kid stomped his feet,"Fine I'm Aaron Frost now lets duel!" "Very well Aaron 2 star chips," Recteik's pleasant demeanor seemed to enrage the boy. "I'll go first, Draw!" Aaron studied his cards. "I summon Elemental Hero Sparkman." ATK:1600 "Then I activate the spell Polymerization to fuse the Avian and the Burstinutrix in my hand to Fusion Summon Elemental Hero Flame Wingman." ATK:2100 I'll set one card facedown and end my turn.

"Well that was quite the move. Draw! I summon Anchorsaur in attack position." ATK:0 "Then I set 3 cards facedown and end my turn." Aaron stared at him. Thats the best you can do? This'll be the easest star chips I've ever won. Draw Sparkman attack!" Recteik raised his hand,"Not excactly. I activate the Trap Suarus Soul. With this card all Battle Damage I take involving a Dinosaurs is reduced to 0 as long as I control a Dinosaur-Typr monster." A feverish grim broke onto Aarons face but you've only got 1 Dinosaur. Sparkman keep goin!!!" Sparkman sent a lightning bolt at Anchorsaur. But Anchorsaur wasn't destroyed. "What that can't be your monster should be toast." Recteik smiled,"With most monsters yes but Anchorsaur can't be destroyed in battle. So your outta luck." Aaron roared with frustation,"Fine I'm done your go!"

"Thank you, Draw!" Recteik looked over his cards. "I discard 1 card from my hand to Special Summon, Thick Steel Saurus." ATK: 500 Then I tribute both my monsters to summon Ragosaurus." ATkL:2500 "Now the Effect of my Anchorsaur activates. I can Special summon a Tuner from my deck. I choose Nexus Raptor." DEF:300 "And the Effect of Thick Steel Suarus destroys a facedown card you control. and now that your wide open. Ragosaurus attack Sparkman!"


Several Turns Later. . .

"Now Ragosaurus will attack you Directly for game." Aaron was furious he pulled his star chips outand threw them at Recteik,"Take um you smug Bastard!" Recteik waited untill Aaron was gone. he reteived his star chips and climbed back up the tree. Meko was still asleep. He settled into his hamock andwaited.

Meko was tossing and turning when he rolled out of his hamock and fell ten feet on to Recteik's hamock and woke up. Recteik was no where to be found, But he looked at his Glove and he had 8 star chips and a note pinned to the back of the glove.

I Know you were looking forwards to having me as a partner but I can no longer stand being away from home. This Island is full of duelist that have no right to be here and I feel like this is not going to help me with anything. I'm leave you my Millinnium Rod, I hope it helps you more then it helpped me. It's in your napsack.[/u][/i][/b]

Meko looked through his napsack and found the rod his Millinnium Puzzle begain to glow as did the rod and Yami Meko to control of Mekos body. Yami Meko looked through the napsack and found a secound deck and deck case and clipped it to his belt and packeed everything up and begain to walk through the island until he came to a group a duelist argueing of the out come of the duel. "I challenge all four of you to a duel Ill wagger 2 star chips to each of you if one wins you all get 2 chips but if I beat all of you then you each give me 2 chips." Yami Meko shouted as he pulled the new deck out and loaded it.

OOC: So let me guess, you'll beat all 4 of those duelists and gain entry to the castle already....o.0

IC: Carlos walked around the island. Where should he go first? Most duelists already have more then 2 Star Chips He could mess up time if he even dueled someone. He would find a victim, then when he got a lot of Star Chips, he would duel them and take them. "But that could be dangerous, what if I lose? Then what?" he thought, shivering. He had then reached a cave. He clutched his Millenium Scale. He was really hungry. Wait a minute! His Millenium Scale could send people to the Shadow Realm! He could find someone truly evil, and send them away and take there chips! But that would greatly affect time. "Im worrying to much" said Carlos. He remembered how to survive in the wilderness. First he needed to get food. Where could that be? He could try fish. But he wuld need to make a fishing rod. He picked up a stick. He pulled off a lace from his shoe, and pulled off a button on his shirt. Soon, he had a fishing rod with a button for a hook. "Its worth a try..." said Carlos. He ran to the nearest water source, and plucked in the button. He sat there for a long time, the minutes passed. After an hour, he was starving, but then, a fish ate the buttton. He pulled up. The fish flew into the air, and fell on the ground. He wriggled. He stabbed it with his fishing rod. It died. Now to make a campfire...

Zanza ran up to catch Veniciano. "Sheesh, took you long enough. I've been waiting for who knows how long!" He slowed to a walk as he reached Veniciano. "So, where to first. You do know that the terrain you duel on changes the field, right. Well, anyway, take this." Zanza handed Veniciano a walkie talkie. "Just in case we get separated." He paused. Veniciano was silent "Not very talkative, are you? Fine then. So, who are we gonna duel first. I'm raring to go!"

Veniciano just stared at the young man chattering endlessly to him, "Let's find the first sucker we can find, I'd preferably like to duel in an area that benefits Dark monsters, Like it matters, my field spell cards will come in handy in case the field is not to my-" Veniciano then took a deep breath, "-advantage." He walked onto the island and looked around at the different duelists that are there, "Hopefully none of these will provoke you or me, or else they shall feel God's wrath." Veniciano wasn't joking, he was 100% serious about what he just said.

Zanza nodded. 'Alright, then. We better get moving. There doesn't seem to be any duelists around here. Must have all gone to fields that support their decks." Zanza paused. There were two paths up ahead. One lead to a large, green forest, while the other led to a small cove. The forest would be excellent for Bug monsters, while the cove would also work for Aqua monsters. Neither really helped either of them. Zanza turned to Veniciano. "Alright, which way?"
