*blink blink* No. If Celestial Emperors are Synchro-killing Synchro monsters, then the Machine Emperors are instantly their superior, for Machine Emperors can absorb Synchros, but aren't Synchros.

According to Ghost/Placido, the Machine Emperors/Synchro Killers are to eliminate what is unneeded in the world, the symbol of mankind's desire for evolution and greater power. Unless Celestial Emperors are purposefully to symbolize the philosophy of cannibalizing your own race for an individual's acheivement, having a Synchro be a Synchro Killer is inane.

Okay, making sure, I didn't originally plan on having them be synchros in the first place, their common effects are these,
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except from your hand when a face-up monster you control is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard. Once per turn, you can equip 1 face-up Dark Synchro Monster your opponent controls to this card. This card gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of all Dark Synchro Monsters equipped to this card by its own effect. Other monsters you control cannot declare an attack.

OCG Grannel doesn't have the clause restricting other monster attacks.

Also, I already had Cecilia establish her Machine Emperor can take out both Synchros and Dark Synchros (anime has examples of Dark Synchros responding to regular Synchro support, so they are considered to be Synchros wherever it applies), so Dark-Synchro specific Celestial Emperors are considered the inferior of the two.

Similarly, if to counter the Machine Emperors, you can summon a Dark Synchro and be safe, it makes the Machine Emperors pointless because most people will probably use Dark Synchros in this RP.

Machine Emperors only work on Synchro not Dark Synchro in this, though hint hint you could always have a card that lets you treat a non-synchro monster as one hint hint, plus the ME are their own secret organization and the Celestial Emperors are made by someone else, modeled after the ME with the purpose of being Dark Synchro Killers, and they have actual power which is weird and the people that use them get the symbol signer marks.
Besides even without Synchro killing the ME if played right are power houses.

I blame Tag Force 5 for giving me ideas on how to abuse multiple-piece Skiel.

I still have slight concerns regarding the presence of both Dark Synchro Killers and regular Synchro Killers in a Dark Synchro-laden RP. One group seems superfluous if they're exclusive to one group of Synchro monster. And I'll reiterate that the anime did indicate Dark Synchro Summons were a type of Synchro Summon and the Synchros were considered Synchro monsters. Aside from the negative levels, they seemed to function identically to Synchros, such as when Yusei used that Trap (Synchro Destructor?) that dealt extra damage if a Synchro monster was destroyed.

The fact we actually don't have people filling those slots also worries me, like trying to put in more roles than we have cast members.

Hey, everyone. Not sure if any of you remember me from before but I used to be pretty active in YCM's Roleplaying/Fanfiction sections. I actually took the time to read through the RP so far and get a feel for current events. I have two questions that I think will be best answered by Trimage. For starters—how should I best introduce my character into the RP, assuming she's accepted? Secondly, I wanted to know how my character will be able to enter the tournament since she doesn't own any of the listed cards—that's a pretty weird requirement though, don't you think? Anyways, on to the application!
Username: Saiba Aisu
Name: Adrienne Guadiacco
Age: 17
Gender: Female

Appearance: Adrienne is an elegant and attractive young woman with softly tanned skin and dark eyes. Her usual outfit consists of the standard female Duel Academy blazer, along with a personalized black miniskirt, black boots, and an optional pair of fingerless blue gloves. One of her trademark accessories is a belt in the style of a serpent. Her dark black-blue hair is usually worn behind her neck, reaching to her forearms. She carries an Academy-issued Duel Disk with blue trim representing the female Dorm on her left arm. Her features are those of the perfect Grecian type, with inky dark-blue hair, high cheekbones, large and liquid dark eyes, coral lips, a finely formed nose, and a softly tanned complexion. Her body is slender, elegant, and well-proportioned, being more along the lines of a runner or dancer than anything else.

Personality: Self-assured and confident in her own appearance and abilities, Adrienne is noted for her unpleasant temper and impatience when dealing with others. She's very attentive to fashion and her clothing represents her unique taste and style. Despite being one of the most well-known and envied students at Duel Academy, she usually doesn't care for the company of her peers. Outside of her certainty in herself, Adrienne is a surprisingly cynical and pessimistic person, believing that nothing lasts forever and that all efforts to change one's fate are meaningless. She is also extremely seductive, and not above using her physical beauty to give her an edge against her opponents or to get what she wants.

Biography: Born into a wealthy Grecian family, Adrienne has lacked little in life when it comes to luxury or physical comfort. Despite her parents' affluence and pampering, however, she is a surprisingly resilient and unspoiled person. From their parents, Adrienne and her older brother learned how to play Duel Monsters at an early age and continued the family tradition by constructing their own Decks centered around Greek mythology—during this process, the two siblings bonded closely. As one of the elite students at the Academy, she is widely regarded as Vicky Atlas' rival to the title "Queen" for her prodigious Dueling talent and for her extraordinary beauty. Adrienne mourns secretly for her long-lost older brother, Gregorio Guadiacco, who disappeared seven years ago. The mysterious disappearance of her brother, with whom she shared a very special and irreplaceable bond, caused something inside her heart to die. Slowly but surely, Adrienne's light-hearted temperament gradually gave way to one of selfishness, vanity and cruelty.

Deck Type: Adrienne plays a Gorgoness Deck, given to her by her father and constructed with her older brother's help. Her tactics are well-balanced due to the variety of different effects at her disposal, ranging from the destruction and negation of her opponent's Monster, Spell, and Trap Cards to the Summoning of her three Ritual Monsters, the Gorgoness Sisters. Generally speaking, however, Adrienne's Deck focuses mainly upon reducing the the ATK and DEF of her opponent's monsters, effectively crippling them and making them useless.
