This is my first Fan Fic. Constructive Criticism is appreciated. Don't be afraid of giving suggestions.[spoiler='Season 1']
[spoiler='Episode 1']Chapter 1: The First Duel!“Get up! Get up! Mark get up!” Trevor said.“Wha…” Mark said with sleep in his voice.“They are calling your name for your duel.” Trevor said.“Thanks.” Mark said as he got up and walked down to where they were calling his name. He couldn’t believe his luck. Normally he would have slept right through them calling his name and then he would have to wait till next year to try out for Duel Academy. He had recently met Trevor this morning while they were taking the written part of the exam. Mark walked to where his duel was to take place and turned on the duel disk that was strapped to his arm.The proctor powered up his disk and both of their Life Point counters increased to 8000. “I’ll kick things off!” The proctor said as he drew a card from his deck (P: 8000). “To start I summon Marauding Captain (1200/400). This cards special ability allows me to Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower Warrior-Type monster. I choose my other Marauding Captain.” The proctor said as 2 armored men, each carrying a sword, appeared before him. “Your turn wannabe duelist.” The proctor said as he ended his turn.“I draw!” Mark said as he swiped a card from his deck. Mark examined his hand and smiled. “First off I will summon my Angel of Water (1500/1700) in attack mode.”“It doesn’t matter, with my 2 Marauding Captains on the field you can’t attack.” The proctor said with a smug smile on his face.“True, but my turn is not over. Now I activate my monster’s ability. I can discard my Angel Defender (700/1800) to gain Life Points equal to the discarded monster’s defense points, but since it is the only card on my side of the field I gain double its defense points (M: 8000+1800+1800). I will finish by setting 2 face-downs. Turn end.”“Lucky move kid.” The proctor said as he drew a card and smiled. “To start I sacrifice my Marauding Captains,” the proctor said as his soldiers turned to tiny little pixels,” to summon my Sword Hunter in attack mode (2450/1700).” The proctor exclaimed as a warrior with clinking armor and many swords materialized before him. “Now, Sword Hunter, attack his Angel of Water!”The monster drew it swords and ran at the floating blue angel but before it could attack Mark flipped one of his face down cards. “I activated Angel Warp. This lets me call back my Angel to my Hand and then Special Summon another “Angel” monster from my hand. Come forth Angel of Identities (2700/2400).” Mark said as his Angel of Water disappeared into a wormhole that had opened up behind her and a light blue skinned angel surrounded by a few masks appeared in her place. “Now, since your attack target is gone your attack is stopped.” Mark said as a little pride touched his voice.“No matter, I will destroy you next turn.” The proctor said obviously upset. “To end my turn I’ll lay down a face down.” “I draw. Now I summon Axe-wielding Angel (1700/1500) in attack mode.” Mark said as an angel carrying a purple, curved axe appeared in from of him. “Now I activate Blast from the Heavens. This allows me to discard 1 monster to inflict damage to you equal to the discarded monster’s attack points. I discard my Dusk Angel (1700/1400) and inflict 1700 points of damage to you.” Mark said as a beam of white light hit the proctor with a powerful force (P: 6300/ M: 11600). “Now will activate my Angel of Identities’ ability, it lets me take an “Angel” monsters ability and copy it onto my Angel of Identity, so now when my Angel destroys your Sword Hunter I gain Life Points equal to its Defense points. Now, Angel of Identities attack.” Mark said as his angel took flight and unleashed a volley of feathers on the monster which shattered it into tiny pixels (M: 11600+1700/P: 6000). “Now my Axe-wielding Angel will attack you directly.” Mark said as his other angel took flight and viciously attacked the proctor bring his Life Points screeching to a halt at 4300(M: 13300/P: 4300). “End turn.”“Savor that moment kid because it is the only part of this duel you are going to enjoy.” The proctor said as he angrily grabbed a card from his Deck. His face fell as he examined his Hand. “I will through down a face down defense position monster and end my turn.” The proctor said with a disappointed voice.“Good, this duel ends here.” Mark said as he snatched a card from his Deck. “First I will summon my Angel of Battle in attack mode (1900/1500). Now I activate the field spell Angel’s Land. This gives my angel a 500 point boost.” Mark said as the field transformed into a meadow with a single tree and a castle in the background. The sky turned rainbow and the fan’s cheers seemed to melt away. “Now to complete my combo I activate Castle of the Angels, which also gives my angels another 500 point boost. Now my Axe-wielding Angel will destroy your face-down monster.” The angel lashed out with her axe and destroyed the face-down card which was his Command Knight (1200/1900). “Now thanks to my angel’s ability I gain 1900 Life Points (M: 13300+ 1900/P: 4300). “Now my Angel of Identities will attack you directly. (P: 600) Now my Angel of Battle will end this.” Mark said as his angel threw a sword at the proctor which put his Life Points at 0. The field spell melted away as did the monsters and then suddenly Mark was hit with a wall of sound. Apparently everyone had turned to watch his duel. “Congratulations.” The proctor said as he walked over to Mark and handed him a yellow jacket. Mark gave a nod of thanks and accepted the jacket he had made it into Duel Academy. [/spoiler][spoiler='Episode 2']Episode 2: A Heated Battle“I can’t believe we made into Duel Academy.” Trevor said as he looked out to sea. He had easily passed both parts of the exam same as Mark and they were on their way to Duel Academy.“I know. This is amazing.” Mark said.“Hey, look over there.” Trevor said pointing to a duel that was taking place. They walked up in time for one kid’s monster crush his opponent’s and end the duel. The boy laughed at his opponent and told him to get lost. “So, who is going to be my next victim?” The kid said. Nobody stepped forward. “I will!” Trevor said as he stepped forward.“You? Alright this should be easy.” The kid said with his voice dripping with smugness. “Duel on!” Trevor said as he drew 5 cards and his Life Point meter counted up to 8000. “I’ll start; by the way the name is Susakee.” The kid said as he drew a card. “To start I will summon my Dive Bomber Phoenix in attack mode (1600/1600). Next I will throw down 3 face-downs and then activate my Phoenix’s special ability. You take 200 damage for each card on the field.” Susakee said as his phoenix launched 4 fire balls at Trevor. (S: 8000/T: 7200) “Unfortunately my phoenix gets weakened by 200 points. Your turn.” Sasukee said.“I start by drawing 1 card.” Trevor said as he snatched a card from his Deck. “Now, I summon my Dragon Knight-Warrior (1200/1200) and his special ability allows him to gain 200 attack points for each Dragon Knight monster on the field (1200+200/1200). Now I activate Double Summon, so that I can summon my Dragon Knight-War Chief (1200/1200).” Trevor said as a salmon colored dragon covered in armor appeared before him. “Thanks to this card all Dragon Knight monsters gain 400 attack points and my Dragon Knight Warrior gets another 200 point boost. Now my Dragon Knight-Warrior will destroy your phoenix.” Trevor said as his dragon took flight and dived towards Susakee’s monster.“Not so fast, I activate Negate Attack, which stops your attack and ends your Battle Phase.” Sasukee said as a multi-colored force field intercepted Trevor’s dragon’s attack.“I know what it does.” Trevor said obviously annoyed. “I guess I will end by throwing down a face-down.” Trevor said as he ended his turn.“Time to end this Duel.” Sasukee said as he drew a card from his Deck. “I will activate the Spell Card Phoenix Constellation. This lets me send cards from my Hand or field to the graveyard to summon my Celestial Phoenix (2100/2100).” Sasukee said as a blue phoenix appeared on his field while his Dive Bomber Phoenix disappeared. The new phoenix seemed to have stars inside of it and the heat was so intense Trevor could barely stand it. “My phoenix gains 100 ATK points equal to the total level of monsters with the word phoenix in their name, and since my monster is a level 9 it gains 900 attack points. Which is strong enough to destroy your dragons.” Sasukee said as he declared an attack with his monster.“Not so fast,” Trevor said as he imitated Sasukee’s voice that he had used when he had activated Negate Attack,” when both my Dragon Knight-War Chief and Dragon Knight-Warrior are on the field together you cannot attack.” Trevor said obviously proud of himself.“Fine, I will just finish you next turn.” Sasukee said as he ended his turn.“There won’t be a next turn.” Trevor said as he drew a card from his Deck. “I activate Dragon’s Egg. This lets me Special Summon 1 Dragon type monster from my hand and I summon my Dragon Knight-Creator in attack mode (2000/2500). Now I activate its ability, which lets me Special summon a Dragon Knight from my hand. I choose my Dragon Knight-Illusionist (1900/1900). I will now activate my new monsters ability. I can summon 1 Illusion Token (0/0) to your side of the field in attack mode. Now I activate Mist Body and equip it to the Illusion Token on your side of the field.” Trevor said.“WHAT?” Sasukee said with disbelief in his voice.“Now my Dragon Knight-Warrior attacks you toke with another 400 attack points thanks to my 2 new monsters. (S: 5800/ T:7200). Now my creator will attack your token again (S: 2400). Now my Dragon Knight-Illusionist attacks your token for the last time and ends this duel.” Trevor said as his dragon released a gray blast of energy that hit the token and dropped Sasukee’s Life Points to 0 (S: 0/ T: 7200).“Thanks for the great duel.” Trevor said as he walked over to where Sasukee has collapsed to his knees.“I don’t need your thanks!” Sasukee said as he looked up at Trevor.“What’s your problem?” Mark said as he walked up to Sasukee.“Just leave me alone!” Sasukee said as he stood up and ran away from them.“Nice duel.” Mark said to break the awkward silence.“Yeah, thanks.” Trevor said as he watched Sasukee run away.“Students please grab all belongings we are just about to dock on Duel Academy.” The captain said over the intercom. The whole boat cheered.[/spoiler][spoiler='Episode 3']Episode 3: Prehistoric vs. Mythologic“I got dorm 4. What about you?” Mark asked Trevor. They had just got off the boat and they were given their dorm assignments.“I have dorm 4 too.” Trevor said obviously excited that he had a room with his new friend.“That is awesome.” Mark said enthusiastically.“Students this way please.” A man in a yellow jack that was slightly different than theirs said. “My name is Professor Yangze. I am not mean but the rules of the dorm are as follow. Number 1 all dorm assignments are final. No switching. Number 2 you must be in your dorms by midnight. Number 3 If it is past 10 in the evening no loud noises. If you can follow those simple rules then you may go to your dorms.” Professor Yangze said as they walked up to the boy’s Ra Yellow dorm.Everyone rushed to find their room eager to take a load off after the long day. Mark and Trevor lagged behind slightly. They were in no hurry. Classes did not start till Monday and today was Saturday. When they did finally get to their room they saw that someone was already inside laying on one of the beds. “Hey, I am Mark.” Mark said as he walked through the door.“I am Trevor.” Trevor said stepping in after Mark.“I am Kevin, nice to meet you.” The boy said.“Likewise.” Mark said as he set his bag down on one of the beds.“So… I wonder when dinner is.” Trevor said as he stomach rumbled. “Me too.” Mark said equally as hungry.As he said that Professor Yangze appeared in the doorway. “Time for dinner you three.”They all stood up and rushed to the door eager to get some food. When they got there a bunch of 3rd year Obelisk Blue students were picking on a pair of Slifer Red first years. Kevin, Mark, and Trevor walked over to them. “What are you doing?” Mark asked the group of Obelisk Blues.“None of your business.” One of them replied as they all looked at the group of Ra Yellows. Taking their chance the two Slifer Reds ran away.“Yeah, well we’re making it our business.” Kevin said stepping forward.“Is that so? Well then we will just have to teach you a little lesson.” The Obelisk said as he grabbed a duel disk from a nearby table. Kevin, who was already wearing his duel disk, inserted his Deck and powered up the duel disk. “Game on.” He said with a tone of confidence.“Wrong, game over.” The Obelisk Blue said as he drew a card (O: 8000/K: 8000). “To start I will summon my Luster Dragon in attack mode (1900/1600). I throw down 2 face-downs and end my turn. By the way squirt my name is Lee. Don’t forget it.” “My name is Kevin and after I am done with you you’ll want to forget it.” Kevin said as he drew a card. The Obelisks laughed but said nothing. “To start I will summon my Agilator in Attack Mode (1200/1400).” Kevin said as a green velociraptor materialized in front of him. “Then I will throw down a face-down. Your move.” Kevin said as he ended his turn.“Well if you want to lose that bad, so be it.” Lee said as he swiped a card from his Deck. “I will summon my Masked Dragon in attack mode (1400/1100).” Lee said as a red and white dragon appeared on his side of the field.” Now my Masked Dragon will attack your Agilator!” Lee’s dragon opened its mouth wide and let a ball of fire escape its mouth.“Not so fast! I activate Threatening Roar.” Kevin said as his dinosaur let loose a ferocious roar that extinguished the fire that was hurtling toward it. “Not only does it stop your attack but also switches you monsters to defense mode.”“End turn.” Lee said obviously mad.“Now I summon my Dino Axe-wielder in attack mode (1700/1400).”“So what? Your monsters aren’t strong enough to destroy my Luster Dragon.”“Maybe not separately but maybe with a little tuning they will be.” Kevin said with a smirk on his face.“You mean?”“Yep, Dino-Axe-wielder is a tuner monster.” Kevin said as his monsters started to tune together. “Behold my ace card, Dinkos, The Woolly Rhino(2700/2000!” Kevin said as there was a flash of blinding light and then standing in front of Kevin was a monster covered in fur, standing on 2 legs with a giant horn protruding from its head. It grunted and flexed its mighty arms. “Now I activate the spell card Heavy Storm.” Kevin said as all of Lee’s face-down cards were destroyed by a giant whirlwind. “Now, Dinkos attack his Luster Dragon.” Kevin said as his monster charged the dragon and crushed it into tiny pixels.(L:7200/ K:8000)“Now, I can flip a coin and call it. If you call it right he can attack again. I choose heads.” Kevin said as he threw a coin into the air. It hit the ground with a clink. Everyone leaned in and saw that it had landed on heads. Seeing the result of the coin toss Kevin’s monster attacked again, shattering the Masked Dragon. (L:5900/K: 8000) “You triggered my Masked Dragon’s ability. Now I can special summon another one.” Lee said as another dragon took the place of the first one.“No matter, I throw down a face-down and then end my turn.” Kevin said.“I draw.” Lee said as he drew a card. “I will switch my dragon to Defense mode and end my turn.” Lee said obviously disappointed with his draw.“I will draw.” Kevin said as he swiped a card from his deck. “Next,” Kevin announced as he look at his cards,” I will summon my Diamond Back-Dino in attack mode (1900/1000).” Kevin shouted as a purple dinosaur with crystals sticking out of its back appeared in front of him. “Now Dinkos will attack you pathetic dragon.” Kevin’s monster charged the dragon and skewered it with its horn, making it burst into a thousand pixels.“Once again I can special summon another dragon, and I choose another Masked Dragon.” Lee said as his last Masked Dragon appeared before him.“I still can flip the coin.” Kevin said as he threw the coin in the air. It hit the ground and everyone leaned into see what it was. Heads. “My monster will destroyed you last dragon.” Kevin said and for the second time that turn Lee’s dragon was crushed. “But, yet again my dragon’s effect activates so say hello to my Troop Dragon(700/800).” Lee said as a humanoid dragon carrying a sword appeared on his side of the field in defense mode.“No matter my Diamond Back-Dino will destroy your little dragon.” Kevin said as his monster rammed into Lee’s dragon. “Now my monsters effect activates I can roll a die and if lands on an even number you take 400 damage times your destroyed monster’s level.” Kevin announced as a die appeared in his dinosaurs hands. The dinosaur threw it into the air and it hit the ground. It rolled once, twice, three times and then stopped. 5! “That stinks.” Kevin said as his monster switched to defense mode.“Why did your loser-rex switch to defense mode?” Lee asked.“If the die lands on an odd number he is switched to defense mode.”“That really does stink… for you. Now my dragon’s effect activates. Another Troop Dragon takes the field.” Lee said as his second Troop Dragon appeared.“Not another one.” Kevin said getting annoyed with the reappearance of so many dragons.“Yes, another one.” Lee said as he started his turn. Lee smiled as he saw the card he had drawn. “I will tribute my Troop Dragon to summon Strong Wind Dragon in attack mode (2400/1000). My dragon gains attack points equal to half of the tributed monster’s attack points (2400+350/1000). Now my dragon will destroy your Woolly Rhino.” Lee said as his dragon took flight and sent a whirlwind hurtling towards Kevin’s monster. (K: 7950/ L: 5900).“No!” Kevin said as his favorite monster was destroyed.“The first part of this duel you got lucky, but now your luck has run out.” Lee said between laughs.“Don’t count me out yet.” Kevin said as he swiped a card from his deck. “I activate Eye of Memories and equip it to my Diamond Back-Dino. Now I activate the eye’s effect. It lets me bring back my Dinkos for the turn.” Kevin said as his Dinkos took the field once again. “Now I will tribute my Diamond Back Dino to Special Summon Mutated Raptor (0/0).“Oh wow a monster with 0 attack points.”“I wouldn’t be laughing if I were you my raptor gains twice the attack of the tributed monster (3800/0). Now I activate Eye of Extinct which lets me special summon 3 dinos from my grave. So say a big welcome back to my Dino Axe-wielder, Agilator, and Diamond Back Dino. Now my Mutated Raptor will attack your Strong Wind Dragon (L: 4850/ K: 7950). Agilator your turn. (L: 3350/K: 7950) Diamond Back Dino attack! (L: 1550/ K: 7950) Now, Dinkos Horn of Demise (L: 0/ K: 7950).” Kevin said as he finished the duel with a spectacular turn.“How…How did I lose to you?” Lee asked in disbelief.“No, the question is why did it take so long for me to finish you?” Kevin said. “Now, get out of here and don’t let me catch you picking on any more kids or I will show everyone how big of loser you really are.” Kevin said as he got up in Lee’s face.“Come on guys let’s get out of here.” Lee said to his Obelisk Blue friends.“No, you’re done telling us what to do. We can’t hang out with a loser like you. You lost to a first year Ra Yellow.” One of the Obelisks said as the rest of them turned away and walked away from Lee.“What? You. You did this I will get my revenge on you.” Lee said as his head whipped towards Kevin.“Yeah yeah. Now I thought I told you to beat it.” Kevin said, and with that Lee left with all his dignity stripped away.“Don’t you think you were a little harsh on him?” Mark asked Kevin.“Maybe, but he deserved it.” Kevin replied.“I just hope it doesn’t come to bite you in the butt later.” Trevor said.Kevin’s stomach grumbled. “Let’s go get some food.” Kevin said, which reminded the others how hungry they were. They all laughed and got in line for some food.[/spoiler][spoiler='Episode 4']Chapter 4: A Slimy Situation Part 1“Mark, get up.” Trevor said as he threw a pillow at Mark. “Wha…” Mark grumbled as he tumbled out of bed with a thud. Kevin and Trevor laughed. “Hahaha, very funny.” Mark said sarcastically.“Well we had to wake you up or you wouldn’t have enough time to get ready for class.” Kevin said innocently.“So you decided to throw a pillow at me.” Mark said as he picked himself up off the floor.“Well I wanted to put your hand in some hot water but Kevin said that you would make us clean up the mess.” Trevor said between laughs.“But seriously we have like, an hour and a half until classes start.” Kevin said.“Give me a sec to get ready.” Mark said as he walked into the bathroom with his clothes and toothbrush in his hands. Mark shut the door behind him and locked it. He quickly undressed and slipped on his pants and undershirt. He held up the yellow jacket and stared at it. He still couldn’t believe that he had made it into Duel Academy, but it was just his luck that he got early risers as roommates. He put on the jacket but left it unbuttoned revealing his black shirt underneath. His bright golden eyes glowed bright. They always attracted attention but no one ever mentioned them as not to be rude. He still saw the glances though, but he had learned to shrug them off. He put up an attempt to fix his messed up blonde hair but to no avail. Mark gave one more glance at the mirror and then opened the door and walked out of the bathroom.The group left and walked to the main building. They walked down some halls and quickly became lost. “We are so going to be late for class.” Trevor said.“Speaking of classes, who do you have first?” Mark asked as he pulled out the PDA the school had given all the students. He clicked on where his class schedule was and saw that he had Dueling Strategy and Tactics first.“I have Dueling Strategy and Tactics first.” Trevor said as he read it off his PDA.“Same here.” Kevin said.“Cool, so now all we have to do is find it in…” Mark said as looked at his watch, “15 minutes.”“Ughhhh! We will never make it.” Kevin said.“Excuse me are you lost?” The three jumped as they heard the voice. They all turned around and standing there was a red-haired girl, her blue eyes seemed to glow, and he face made a star look like a piece of trash.“Um...uh…yeah. We…uh…need to get to Dueling Strategy and Tactics.” Mark finally stuttered out as his face turned red.“Do you happen to know where that is?” Kevin said as he took over for Mark.“Yeah just up the stairs and the second door on your right.” The girl replied. “Thanks. By the way what’s your name?” Kevin asked.“Katherine, but everyone calls me Kat. Yours?” “I am Kevin, this is Trevor, and this is Mark.” Kevin said.“Nice meeting you but I got to go. See you around.” She said as she turned around and walked away.“Thanks.” Kevin and Trevor called after her.“Somebody has a crush.” Trevor said teasingly to Mark.“I do not.” Mark said as his face got even redder.“You so do. You should have seen your face. It was like somebody had handed you a million bucks.” Kevin said trying to keep from laughing.“Uh…hey we have to get to class.” Mark said thankful for once that they were cutting it so close.“Oh yeah we better get going.” Trevor said and the three took off. They walked into the room right as the bell signaling that you were late went off. “We made it.” Kevin sighed as he caught his breath.They took three empty seats at the front of the class and as they sat down their teacher walked into the room. “Students, My name is Professor Hunter, and I thought we would start of the year with some fun. I would like all of you to write down your ideal decks. You cannot make up your own cards and you have all class period to work on it. You may begin.” The professor said as he sat down at his desk. The students got to work on the assignment. An hour later Mark, Trevor, and Kevin were walking out of the classroom having already turned in their papers.“So what’s next?” Mark asked.“Um…it looks like we have Effect Counter Balances next.” Trevor said looking at his PDA.“Cool I saw it on the way here.” Mark said as started to walk down the hall. They soon came to the doorway of the classroom and walked in. There were very few people were in the class. Mark quickly spotted Kat at the top of the bleacher like desks. He walked off leaving Kevin and Trevor who quickly followed him. He walked up and sat next to Kat. “Um…hi…again.” Mark said his face turning red again. “Oh, hi. Its Mark right.”“Uh…yeah.” Mark said.“I am surprised to see you here this is a third year class. You must have done really well on your written exam. I am a first year too but my brother’s reputation got me into this class.” Kat said suddenly becoming quiet at the mention of her brother, but before Mark could respond the professor walked in. He was wearing a blue jacket not that different from the Obelisk Blue jackets. “Students my name is Professor Techtalon, and today I thought we could analyze a duel to start the year easy, but when I was deciding what duel to analyze I had an idea. Why not analyze a duel between two students in this class room? So, if you would turn your attention to the screen please.” The professor said as he held up a remote and pressed a button. Kat’s picture appeared on the screen. “Kat you will be our first duelist.” The professor pressed to button for the second time and Mark’s picture appeared on the screen. “Mark you will duel Kat.” The professor said.Mark and Kat walked down the stairs and stood in the middle of the room with their duel disks activated (K: 8000/M: 8000). “Ladies first.” Mark said as his awkwardness melted away. This was a duel and it was his turf.“You’ll regret being generous.” Kat said as she swiped a card. “To start I will throw down 3 face-downs and then summon my Aquatic Slime-Reptoid(1900/0) in attack position.” Kat said as a monster that seemed to be made of a jelly like substance appeared in front her. “I activate my Reptoid’s ability. I can decrease his attack by 400(1500/0) to special summon a token(1000/1000).” Kat said as she finished her turn.“Draw.” Mark said. “I summon my Angel of Fire (1800/1200) in attack mode and then he attacks your little pile of gum.” Mark said as his angel hefted the spear in its hands. The spear point ignited and the angel launched it at Aquatic Slime-Reptoid.“Not so fast. I activate my trap Negate Attack. Sorry but my wad of gum will be sticking around.” Kat said as an invisible force stopped the spear.”“Nice move but I am not done yet.” Mark said,” I activate Power of Fire and equip it to my angel (2300/1200). I throw down a face-down and end my turn.”“I draw. Next I activate Reptoid’s ability(1100/0) to summon a new token (1000/1000). Now I activate Double Ability which lets me use Reptoids effect again, so say hello to token number three (Reptoid: 700/0) (Token: 1000/1000). Once per turn my monster cannot be destroyed.” Kat said as her giant blue worm launched a glob of slime at Mark’s angel.“Alright then I activate Angel Warp.” Mark said as he flipped his face-down card. “This lets me bring back my angel to my hand to bring out a new one.” Mark said as his Angel of Fire disappeared and was replaced with a different angel. “Say hello to my Angel Strategist (2100/2100) and thanks to his ability he gains 300 attack points. So that means you take 100 damage (M: 8000/ K: 7900).”“My monster isn’t destroyed though. With that I end my turn.”“I draw.” Mark said as he drew a card. “First I activate Angel’s Beam which destroys all monsters on your side of the field and you take 300 points of damage for each of them. (K: 7000/M: 8000) Then I will activate the spell card Effect Nullifier. This cancels all floating effects which lets me attack this turn. Then I summon my Angel of Battle to the field (1900+300/1500).” Mark said as an angel wielding 2 swords appeared before him. “Now attack.” Mark said as Kat’s Life Point meter dropped (K: 2400/ M: 8000). “I activate this.” Kat said as she held up card that was in her hand. “It’s a monster called Aquatic Slime-Enert. I can discard him when I take damage and then you take the same amount of damage. (K: 2400/ M: 3400).” Kat said as a blast of energy hit Mark making his Life Point meter drop.“Alright I end my turn by throwing down a face-down.” Mark said.“Draw. Next I will play Aquatic Slime Regeneration which lets me bring back my Reptoid and my Wormitle. Then I activate Reptoid’s ability to summon a token, but they won’t be staying I tribute all of my monster’s to summon Aquatic Slime-Sinkster (3800/3800) in Attack Position.” Kat said as a gargantuan monster appeared in front of her. Mark’s angels were dwarfed in size and points. “Now I activate Lightning Vortex to destroy all your monsters.” Kat said as she discarded a card and bolts of lightning rained down on Mark’s angels destroying them. “Now my Sinkster will finish you off.” Kat said as her monster lumbered towards Mark. The giant raised its fist and brought it down on Mark. A cloud of smoke rose and everyone leaned in to see the outcome.To be continued.[/spoiler][spoiler='Episode 5']Chapter 5: A Slimy Situation Part 2The smoke cleared and everyone leaned in (M: 200/K: 2400). “How are you still standing?” Kat asked unable to keep the surprise out of her voice. “I activated my Angel’s Blessing, which gave me an extra 600 Life Points, so I guess you’ll have to wait to beat me.” Mark said as he started his turn. “To start I summon my Angel of Water (1500/1700) in attack mode.” Mark said as a blue angel materialized in front of him. “Now I activate her effect, I can discard my Angel Defender (700/1800) to gain Life Points equal to his Defense Points but because my Angel of Water is the only card on my side of the field I gain double the discarded monster’s defense points. (M: 3800/ K: 2400)”“That’s a lot of life points but your monster’s attack points are a little low.” Kat said with a little smugness in her voice.“Oh, I guess you got me there I guess I will throw down 2 face-downs and end my turn.” Mark said as he ended his turn.“Draw.” Kat said then looked at her hand and frowned obviously disappointed. “Alright I will have my Sinkster destroy your Angel of Water.” Kat said as her giant monster raised its foot to smash Mark’s monster into pixels.“Not so fast. I activate my Angel’s Illusion trap card. This card returns my monster to my hand and yours to your deck.” Mark said obviously proud of getting rid of her monster.“You’ll pay for that.” Kat said grudgingly as she ended her turn. “I draw.” Mark said. “I activate Angel Fusion. I can discard my Cyber Angel to summon my fusion monster Metallic Dark Angel (3000/700). Unfortunately its effect is canceled but that doesn't matter. Angel attack her directly.” Mark declared as his monster let loose a heavy whirlwind reducing Kat’s life points to 0. (M: 3800/ K: 0)Mark walked over to where Kat was standing instantly all awkwardness reappearing. “Uh…um…thanks for the…uh…duel.” Mark stuttered as his face once again turned scarlet.“I had fun.” She said obviously not upset that she had lost,” Next time though you won’t win.” She said.“I look f-forward to it.” Mark stuttered yet again.“Alright, class dismissed.” The professor said as the bell rang. Kevin and Trevor ran to Mark and clapped him on the back. “Nice duel.” Kevin said.“I thought you were going to lose when she summoned out that giant monster.” Trevor said.“Well thanks for the vote of confidence.” Mark said jokingly. They all laughed. “So, classes are over for the day what do you want to do?” Kevin asked as the three walked down the hall, but before anyone could answer an Obelisk Blue walked up to them and directed his attention to Mark. His cold calculating eyes stared into Mark’s.“You’re Mark Slone, I presume.” The Obelisk said.“Yeah, who are you?” Mark replied feeling slightly nervous.“I am Alexander, top ranked second year. The headmaster told me to bring you to his office. He said there was something he had to discuss with you.”“Um…alright. Guys why don’t you head back to the dorm and I will catch up with you there.” Mark said as he addressed Trevor and Kevin. They nodded and reluctantly left.Alexander lead Mark through the campus and they soon came upon a door marked headmaster. Alexander gestured for him to go inside and quickly did as he was expected. Alexander followed close behind.“Oh, yes please come sit down.” Said a man behind a desk. “I have asked you to come here for it is a matter of great importance. I have chosen you two to represent us at the School Duel Off. We will be competing against North Academy, East Academy, West Academy, and South Academy. As Alexander probably knows you will have to work as a team. We cannot lose this year we just can’t.” The headmaster said to the two of them.“Um…headmaster no offense but why me? I am only a first year. Why not get someone older and more experienced?” Mark asked puzzled. “Oh…um…your test scores were off the charts, and I want to stick it to the other schools that a first year can beat them.” The headmaster said.“Why can’t you get someone else?” Alexander burst out. “I don’t want to have to duel with a first year lackey.”“What the? What did I ever do to you?” Mark asked surprise and anger in his voice.“Now, really Alexander do you really have to be like that?” The headmaster asked.“Look, I just don’t get why I have to duel with him.” Alexander said as he gestured towards Mark.“You will be dueling with him and that is final.” The headmaster said. “You may leave.” He said obviously not giving them an option. They got up and left without another word. Now my Vanguard will destroy your Raptor.”Hunter said as his human sized dragon hefted a spear and threw at Kevin’sraptor. “Not so fast I activate, Running from Extinction. I candiscard 1 card to remove from play my Raptor until the end phase, and now sinceyour attack target is gone your attack is canceled. It doesn’t matter my dragoncan now attack you directly. Blue-Eyes attack him directly with WhiteLightning.”“Once again you made a mistake.” Kevin said as he flippedhis other face-down. “Dino Surprise lets me bring a dinosaur back from thegraveyard. I choose my Super Conductor Tyranno(3300/1400).” Kevin said as adinosaur with electricity crackling around it appeared in front of him, andintercepted the attack and then counter attacked with another burst oflightning back at Hunter’s Blue-Eyes and destroyed it(K: 8000/ H: 7200).“When did you send that to your graveyard?” Hunter asked insurprise indicating Super Conductor Tyranno.“When I discarded a card to activate my Running fromExtinction card.” Kevin said obviously proud of himself for pulling off thecombo.“You mean you had it planned?” Hunter asked still not ableto get over that his prized monster was destroyed.“Don’t sound so surprised. Now, do you end your turn?” Kevinasked.“Oh…um…I’ll throw down a face-down and then end my turn.”Hunter said quickly regaining his cool.“Good.” Kevin said as he drew a card, “First off remember myRaptor came back after you ended your turn.” Kevin said as his Razor Raptorrematerialized in front of him. “Now, I will activate Lightning Vortex todestroy all your monsters.”“Now you made a mistake. When my Vanguard is destroyed by acard effect I can bring back a Normal Dragon-Type monster from my Graveyard. Ichoose Blue-Eyes White Dragon.” Hunter said as his dragon appeared again.“It doesn’t matter my dinosaur will cut it down again.”Kevin said as he declared an attack. “Wrong again. I activate Negate Attack and stop your attack.”Hunter said as he flipped his face-down card.“Fine, I end my turn.” Kevin said.“I draw.” Hunter said, then a huge grin spread across hisface, “To start I summon my Lord of D. (1200/1100). Next, I play Flute ofSummoning Dragon, this lets me Summon 2 dragons from my hand and I choose my 2Blue-Eyes.” Kevin said as the final 2 Blue-Eyes appeared on his field makingeveryone gasp. “I am still not done next I activate Polymeriza…” Hunter was cutoff by the roar of helicopter as it stopped and hovered over the door. The sideof it opened and somebody jumped and landed on the ground with superb balance.The man was Seto Kaiba. The whole crowd gawked as they completely forgot aboutthe duel. “It is not time yet, Hunter.” He said, but did notacknowledge anyone else.“But, dad…” Hunter tried to argue.“No.” Seto said to Hunter’s dismay. Then he turned andaddressed everyone watching. “This duel is over please go about your business.”The crowd groaned but no one dared to complain to him, and with that Seto turnedand grabbed the rope ladder the helicopter had thrown out for him and theyleft.“Sorry about that.” Hunter said and then turned and walked away.[/spoiler][spoiler='Episode 8'][size=3]Chapter 8: The Thief [/size][size=3]“I still cannot believe I saw the real Seto Kaiba.” Trevorsaid.[/size][size=3]“I cannot believe he interrupted my duel.” Kevin saidgrumpily.[/size][size=3]“Oh, get over it.” Mark said.[/size][size=3]It was a few days after Kevin’s duel with Hunter and he wasstill bummed he hadn’t been able to finish his duel. “The card shop openstomorrow.” Trevor said trying to break the awkward silence that had entered theroom. [/size][size=3]“Finally, they have been closed all year.” Kevin said.[/size][size=3]“Yeah, but that was because they over ordered on cards andhad to put more shelves in.” Mark interjected. Mark grabbed his duel disk and silently slippedoutside the tent. Once he had gotten out he saw that the door to the card shopwas open, and inside there was a small light bobbing around the shelves. Notwanting to wake the others Mark crept into the card shop alone. He walked downthe aisles lined with cards carful to be quiet. As he drew upon where the lightwas he stopped and looked. [/size][size=3]A man was hunched over a stack of card packs and quicklysticking them into a bag. “Hey you stop!” Mark said as he stepped out of hishiding place.[/size][size=3]“Wha…” The man said in a surprised voice. When he saw it wasjust a kid he smirked at his initial fear. “Or what?” He asked.[/size][size=3]“I am going to have stop you.” Mark said flatly.[/size][size=3]“You and what army?” The thief asked.[/size][size=3]“This one.” Kevin and Trevor said as they hurried to Mark’sside. Your turn.” Marksaid as he finished his turn.[/size][size=3]“I draw,” The thief said,” I summon my Treasure Thief inAttack Position (1200/1200). Next, his effect activates. I get to steal 500 ofyour Life Points.” The thief said as his monster threw a punch at Mark (M:7500/ T: 8000). “I end my turn.”[/size][size=3]“I draw. Next I will activate the Continuous Magic of Birthof an Angel. Now, I can tribute my Angel of Earth to summon my Angel Priestess(500/2000) in attack mode. Now my Spell activates and lets me Summon a weakermonster, like my Angel of Survival (1000/1000). Now I will activate myPriestess’ ability which allows me to select a card in your hand and thenactivate an effect of depending on what it is. I choose the one in the middle.”Mark said as his monster strode over to where the thief was standing andrevealed the card to Mark. It was Thief of Legend (2200/2100). “Now, all mymonster’s attack points are equal to the selected monster’s attack points.”Mark said as his monsters’ points increased by a great deal. “Now, my monsterswill attack.” Mark said as his monsters went in for a double attack. (M: 7500/T: 5300) [/size][size=3]“Lucky move.” The thief said.[/size][size=3]“Luck had nothing to do with it.” Mark said as he ended histurn.[/size][size=3]“I draw. First I will Summon my Thieving Raccoon(500/500). Ican Tribute him to take 1 card from your Graveyard. So say hello to your Angelof Earth (1600/1400). Now I will flip your Angel Priestess face-down. Now I willactivate Power Steal and that lets me take 1000 ATK points from your Angel of Survival and addthem to my monster (1600+1000/1400(2200-1000/1000). Now, my monster willdestroy your face-down Angel Priestess.” The thief said as Angel of Earth letloose a sandstorm, destroying Mark’s face-down monster. “Your turn.” The thiefsaid smugly.[/size][size=3]“Draw. Next, I activate Blast from the Heavens. This lets mediscard 1 Angel monster to inflict damage to your equal to its attack points,and I discard my Angel of Divinity (M: 7500/ T: 800). Next, I will tribute myAngel of Survival to summon my Woodpecker Angel (2100/1900). Its effect lets mepay 1000 Life Points to summon 3 Woodpecker Tokens to your side of the field(M:6500/ T: 800).” Mark said as 3 Woodpeckers appeared on the thief’s side of thefield. [/size][size=3]“Well, thanks kid I needed some tributing material.” Thethief said obviously thinking Mark had made a mistake.[/size][size=3]“You won’t get to tribute them because then I activate Angel’sBlast. This destroys all your monsters and inflicts 300 points of damage to youfor each monster destroyed (M: 6500/ T: 0).[/size][size=3]“No, you’ll never catch me.” The thief said as he realizedhe had lost. He grabbed the bag at his side and made for the door. As theautomatic door started to slide open he was tackled and hit the ground with athud. [/size][size=3]“I hate people who don’t honor a deal.” Trevor said as hestood up and brushed himself off. [/size][size=3]“And I’ll take that.” Kevin said as he wrenched the bag ofcards out of the thief’s hand. [/size][size=3]“What is going on here?” A woman said as the door opened. “Ohmy!” She said as she saw the unconscious thief laying on the floor.[/size][size=3]Mark explained the entire story to her and she went to goand get the headmaster.[/size]

Interesting. I know that different people have been dueling each chapter, but i needed to introduce them and their decks to the story. I have based Trevor off of reyez.com and i am Mark so maybe i will let some people make a request but only a few certain ones for now. anyway thanks for your comment.
