Years Later (Naruto RP) (started and accepting)

Kinata sighed seeing the logic in Diachi's words. "Yeah ok. Let's head back to sensei and talk anout with him. Besides, Roya's with the kid. SHe maybe a kid herself but I thought I felt a chakra spike earlier and it had to be her so there's some fight in her. that and she's a Leaf genin." She lept back onto Nura's back and looked down at Diachi waiting. "I know you hate flying but it's the fastest way to get someplace short of teleportation." Then her mind drifted and the look on her face became worried. Nura knew what was bothering Kinata, "I have been thinking about that too. We better hurry in case they met with some problems.", Nura said.

"Sometimes I wish I could teleport." Daichi grumbled as he jumped on to Nura's back. "Let's hope Arashi didn't run in to trouble. I don't think I can stand up to somebody that is able to beat Arashi, especially after all of the chakra I just used breaking the first seal." He grabbed a small bag from his weapons pouch, pulled out a small black solder pill and shoved it in his mouth. "These things taste horrible." He commented as he forced back a gag and handed the bag to Kinata. "Want one?" He laughed slightly. "Don't worry about the taste. I'll get you some good tasting food when we get back to the village."

After regaining enough energy to move Arashi headed to the cave that they had been staying in the night before. "I hope Kinata and Daichi are okay. If they failed to bring back the kid, then that can't mean any good for them."

[Auralady]

Kinata took one and poped it into her mouth. Just like Diachi she had agag reflex but got over the taste afterwards. At first it seemed like a Kinata didn't catch Diachi's last satement. Untill, "OK I'll meet you outside the Hokage's later. I'm going to need a nap and and get get cleaned up first." After what felt like a just a few minutes of flying Nura finally landed not far off from the others. Kinata jumped of and walked over to the group. She automatically noticed the two newcommers and looked at them, "Hi." She didn't reconize them but her instincts told her they weren't a threat so she stayed relaxed. Then she looked at Arashi and Jinn-Tu, "Sorry sensei. We managed to track them to a cave and Diachi got past the first layer of a five seal barrier. But they threatened to kill the kid unless we left. They said they would return him at the end of twenty four hours if we left."

 

 

Roya looked up at Shei, "I must go talk to Lady Kasumi but I'll be back in a few minutes." Roya walked to Kasumi leaving the boy with Shei for the moment. She bowed, "Lady Kasumi. I'm not sure Shei told you but I have managed to gain the Leaf shinobi's trust. If and when you release the child to them I ask permission to go as well. With me inside the Leaf village I'll be able to pass along information to Shei or Otumaru concerning anything the Leaf discovers about this case. They, in turn, will be able to pass it on to you. You will be constently informed."

 

The boy watched Roya go and then looked up at Shei. "Where am I and who are you?", he asked shakily.

[Esplin 9466 Primary]

"Sounds like a plan." Daichi smirked. After they landed Daichi jumped off of Nura's back, glad to be back on the ground again, and joined Kinata and the others. Wiz jumped off of Nura and used his ears to glide to Daichi's shoulder. "You where great today Wiz. I'll give you a nice treat when we get back to the village."

Arashi nodded. "I was already informed of the same thing. They said they would bring the kid to the rain village after they where done with him." Arashi sat on the ground with his injured leg out. "Call me crazy, but I don't trust them. I want to be ready just encase." He looked at Daichi. If I recall correctly, you're clan is very skilled in setting up hard to spot traps, right? We might be able to use that. Kinata, your summoning birds will be useful for attacking from the air, as well as watching to warn us for when they arrive so we don't get caught off guard."

[Auralady]

"All right.", Kinata looked up at Nura, "We'll fly around the surrounding area to get the lay of the land." She completed the jutsu and five other reavens appeared in a puff of smoke. Kinata climed back onto Nura's back. Simultainously all six summoned birds spred their wings and took to the sky in a great rush of wind. When the flock had reached a siutable hight they glided on hte wind currents and Kinata took the lead on Nura. The group flew in a jagged triabgle formation as they scanned the surrounding wooded areas. The area was huge and the wind up as high as they were was strong enough to knock even the most experienced flyer off. But they had the best advantage at this hight and could see for miles below in every direction. Kinata dug her fingers into Nura's feathers and held on tighter.

Sorin and Harumi stood and listened as the others began to plan. Harumi turned to Sorin and spoke, "Are you sure we shouldn't help them prepare, just in case?" Sorin nodded, "I'm sure of it. The person told us to come here which means that they must be confident in two things: The ability to get past any traps or preparations we set up, meaning that they probably have a secret way of getting to this spot...." Harumi listened and noticed that Sorin didn't finish, "And the second thing?" Sorin's face hardened, "The second is based on the first. The second is that they are confident that even if we realize this, no matter what we do we won't be able to stop them. That's the big issue. Either the person in charge is hugely over-exaggerating their abilities, or they're completely serious in which case fighting them would be the worst possible action we could take." Harumi's face fell, "I see what you mean. And the reason we're not doing anything is because we showed up after this declaration was made and thus we may tip the balance into our favor, and if we're running around preparing and are seen they might change their plans because of the new development." Sorin nodded again, "Exactly, but I can only hope that this person is severely over-exaggerating their own power."

 

Harumi now looked at Sorin curiously as he continued, "I've been on countless missions and have seen Arashi fight before. He was tired from fighting when we arrived and that wasn't even the one in charge. This person would have to be powerful enough to subdue the one who fought Arashi without too much trouble or their system of command would collapse. That's what worries me."

 

 

 

Shei looked at the boy sitting on the bed and walked to the desk across the room. He spun the chair around and sat down. "Don't be afraid, you're only here so that we can talk to you and get some information. As for where this is..... we're inside the mountain range. My name is Shei Kimotare. I'm sorry if I scared you earlier, we have no intention of hurting you as long as the Leaf don't interfere. And if it makes a difference as soon as you tell Lady Kasumi what she needs to know we're going to return you to the Leaf. By the way what's your name boy?"

 

 

 

Sitting outside her quarters Kasumi listened to Roya, "Roya... You'll need to come up with a better reason than that. You see I already have spies passing me information from the Leaf Village. Besides as soon as you get to the Village you'll be bound and handed over to the Torture & Interrogation Corps since you're not a ninja of the village anymore. Besides, their Hokage would recognize you in an instant, Sharingan or no Sharingan. And you're truly too valuable for me to waste in such a manner." Kasumi waved her hand as they spoke and created an ice clone which ran off towards the main meeting hall to meet Otumaru and tell him where she was.

 

 

 

Akima was sitting on a rock which stood about ten feet up. He couldn't see out of the valley from there, but he didn't intend to. We was simply looking around and keeping a watch over Rei as she slept trying to recover from the seal he'd performed earlier. *When I was performing the seal earlier I could tell. If we'd waited another day the buildup of energy would have overflowed and blasted a great deal of area. If we'd gone to stay in the village she'd have probably destroyed at least a few blocks without meaning to. She doesn't like to admit it but it's like this every month or so, if the power overflows then she'll become a serious threat to herself and those around her. If only we could find a way to make the seal unnecessary, but unless she's expending massive amounts of chakra constantly that won't happen.* Akima sighed and lifted his knee to his chin and rested his chin on it. *If only......*

Arashi and Daichi stared at the birds as they rose in to the air and searched the area. "I know it's a good idea to keep watch from the sky, but do you think she can keep six large birds in the air for 24 hours straight?" Daichi commented as the birds stopped going higher and leveled off. "I guess we'll find out." Arashi replied before turning his attention to Sorin and Harumi, having heard Harumi's last comment. "For the record, that fight was a draw. My opponent had been overexerting himself. If that fight had lasted too much longer he probably would have killed himself." It was at this point that Arashi caught a glimpse of Samehada on Harumi's back. Up until this point he had not been paying enough attention to so much as notice the color of her hair let alone what she was carrying. "You're one of the seven swordsman of the mist? That's good.

[Auralady]

As the flock of summoned birds flew Kinata waved her hand. This was the signal the birds had been waiting all of this time for. Each bird imedietly peeled away from the group and headed to a certain location. Either the: North, South, East, West or the wooded area between the enterence to the base and the village. Kinata and Nura stayed flying in the skys in hte area just around the village. Kinata wanted to be close to the others as possible without leaving her position. In case someone needed medical attention or they needed an extra shinobi fast. The other summoned ravens would take care of the areas farthest away from the village and then Kinata could get reports from them.

 

Roya nodded. "Very well Lady Kasumi. I'll return to Shei and the child then if you do not need me right away." She started to leave the room.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

It was a few minutes, but eventually Otumaru the ice clone ran back up to Kasumi. Soon after, Otumaru walked in behind it and then stopped right in front of the group of people that were outside of Kasumi's quarters. "Keh, what do we have here, eh?" Otumaru said and then walked closer to the group so as to converse with them and see what tasks Kasumi would like him to preform next.

[Auralady]

Kinata gazed up at the passing clouds as she reclined on Nura's back. So far nothing interesting had happened. The area around the village was fine so far. Not only that but the other five summoned ravens she had sent out hadn't reported anything back yet. If something was wrong in one of their sectors then Nura would know all most imedietly and would tell Kinata. Then, in return, Kinata would radio into her teeam on the ground. As the sky darkened the kunochi chose to radio in anyway, "Sensei so far no sign of the rouges that took the kid. Butit is getting close to the time they are sapposed to meet us."

[Esplin 9466 Primary]

"Okay, good work. Just remember not to attack unless they attack first. Remember they Are supposed to be giving up the kid without a fight." Arashi forced the gem back in to his sword with a push from his thumb. While he was waiting Arashi had resupplied his own chakra as well as the chakra that had been in the gem. "Now I can settle the score against that water user."

In the Time he had been waiting Daichi had been setting up traps in the rubble of the rain village. He placed his index finger on one of the rocks and ran chakra in to it, he then walked a short ways to another boulder and did the same thing. After he finished the two boulders became connected by a very thin string of chakra. Because it was made with chakra it could only be detected by chakra sensors, he also made the chakra very thin so that it was even smaller than metal wires, making it very hard to spot even for those who could see chakra. He used his chakra to drill a hole in to the second rock and inserted the scroll in to it. The scroll was the one weakness in these traps because they could be spotted by normal eyes, but with his skills he was easily able to fix the hole so that nobody would notice he had drilled a hole in to it. The scroll and chakra thread was set up so that when the trap was triggered it would fire his signature meteor strike at whoever set it off. Although most of the traps where similar to this, they launched a large verity of attacks and a few of them where set up with the large, more powerful paintings to summon animals to fight. "That's the last if it."

[-Genesis-]

Kasumi turned to Otumaru, "I will be going to talk to the child from Amegakure soon and once I get the information I need I will be returning him to the Leaf ninja. I would like you to use one of your tiny stealth summons and hide in it near them after I leave. Just in case the child doesn't tell me something. I would like you to watch and listen closely. If you are identified, have your summon act like a normal turtle and when you get a chance escape. Do not let them know that you are watching them unless there is no other way to escape. This is very important." She stood and then began walking down the steps, "Also, for the time being we will be staying here at this base, but please refrain from using the southern entrance as they have penetrated the first level Five Seal Barrier there. Shei will replace it soon as well as place the seals for it closer to the others to make it almost impossible to identify which seals go to which barrier." Kasumi then continued walking down the steps, "Come Roya, we're going to see the child." She then turned to go down a hallway leading to the wing where the child was.

 

 

 

Shei was sitting across the room from the child waiting, "Well? What's your name boy?" Shei was sitting calmly and relaxed, no weapons, he was not tense or worried in the slightest and all the while trying to convey to the child that he didn't need to be afraid. *At this rate Lady Kasumi will arrive before I even learn the child's name. How sad, he's so scared. But no doubt Lady Kasumi will be able to talk to him.... she can get anyone to talk to her. She just possesses a calming presence.*

 

 

 

Harumi looked at Arashi, "Yes, I am one of the last heirs to the name of Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. As one of them it is also my responsibility to collect the swords which are no longer held by a member of the mist and bring them back. Such as the one you hold. As an ambassador of the Hidden Mist, I ask that when you die you have it returned to my Village. My Clan has been charged with guarding the unpassed swords and we currently hold 3 of the swords besides our own although we are not allowed to wield them. I will not ask you to surrender the blade while you live, just that it is returned when you die."

[Esplin 9466 Primary]

After Daichi finished filling the village with traps he headed back to meet back with Arashi and the others. "I'm finished with the traps. Nobody's going to be able to move more than ten feet without setting one off." He bragged, however he wavered slightly from fatigue. "Filling an entire village with chakra based traps really takes a tole on a guy."

Arashi, who preferred not to talk about things like his own death, chose to ignore Harumi's comment. "I guess my request to become an official member of the seven swordsman of the mist was denied. No surprise considering I'm from the leaf." Arashi thought to himself with a depressing sigh. "Good job Daichi. We still have time before they are supposed to arrive, so you should take that time to regain your chakra." He looked up in to the sky at the birds flying around. "I wish I could say the same for Kinata, but right now she's the only one who can search the sky from above."

[Auralady]

"Kinata you all right?", Nura glanced back at the chunin on her back. At first Kinat had started off strong and was able to keep the six birds i the air without too much of a strain on her chakra. Sevceral hours later though and it was starting to take it's toll. But Kinata was stubborn and smiled, "YEah. I'm fine Nura. Just stay focused." After a moment the summoned bird spoke again only this time with a firm voice, "Kinata Uzamaki. You are the only one on Team Arashi that has any medical training. How much use are you going to be if and when this comes to a fight if all of your chakra is spent on a reconisense task?" She sighed, "Jeez Nura. When did you become so motherly? Unfortunetly all six birds are importent......I'll get rid of the sixth one once our enemies are on their way." This wasn't what Nura wanted but it was better then nothing. "Ok then. I'm holding you to it."

 

THe boy relaxed considerably. "I'm Inro Nategahi from teh Village Hidden in the Rain."

 

Roya fallowed Kasumi.

Daichi sat down on the tallest tree branch of the tallest tree he could find, that could support his weight, and looked up in to the sky. He was supposed to be resting, and regaining his chakra, but he wanted to be able to act quickly if something happened to Kinata while flying. He closed his eyes, remaining awake, and thought back to a few moments in his past.

Some of his memories where good, like when he remembered the hokage giving a speech at the ninja academy and spoke of his way of the ninja. That day his class was given an assignment to find there own ninja way, although most of the students simply made up something that sounded cool and didn't push towards it, Daichi was one of the few students who lived around his ninja way 'to protect those who are precious to me'.

And then he remembered the horrible memories, such as when he was 15 and Kurei took control of his body while inside the village and went on a rampage. This was only the second time kurei had ever gained control of his body and, at the time, Kurei used his demonic chakra and had a heart of pure hatred. When they had finally subdued Kurei he had already fatal wounded three ANBU black ops, luckily nobody was killed. Because of the damage Daichi received, mostly from Kurei's chakra, he was in the hospital for almost a month. The next day the Niwa clan created Wiz, to help seal away Kurei's chakra. The relationship between Wiz and Kurei is similar to that of a tailed beast and its host. Kurei uses Wiz's chakra, and vice versa, in addition Parts of Wiz's 'will' seeps in to Kurei which is why Kurei is nowhere near as bloodthirsty as he was when he was first created in Daichi mind.

Suddenly from behind Kinata and Nura a voice sounded, "There's no need. I can cover the aerial watch while you rest." It was Sorin, he was sitting cross-legged on the back of a perfectly painted hawk. He opened another scroll whipped out his brush and in less than 3 seconds had drawn on it and cast his Art of the Cartoon Beast Mimicry. Suddenly 12 birds burst forth from the scroll and flew around. "Trust me..... I can handle it."

Harumi was sitting on a large piece of the ruins of a building, "I wonder if these enemies are really as powerful as they were described. Are they really powerful enough to take on a person holding one of the Seven Swords of the Hidden Mist? Or is the wielder not able to use the full power of the weapon?.......... Well, I guess I'll find out soon enough. There's only about an hour left until midnight." She looked up and watched the stars.

 

 

 

Shei smiled, "Well it's good to meet you Inro, I'm sorry about before. To you it must have seemed as though one second you were surrounded by Leaf and the next second you were inside the mouth of a giant chameleon. I just needed to get you out of there quickly." Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Shei looked at Inro, "It's your room, it's up to you to invite them in. And the sooner you do the sooner you can leave."

 

 

On the other side of the door Kasumi stood and waited for a response and waved her hand over her face. When she put her hand down her face had changed so that the child wouldn't be able to identify her. *I'll keep this face to use when I meet with the Leaf ninja tonight, but for now I need to learn what happened at Amegakure from this child. And if he can't remember I'll simply help him remember.* What do you think of this face Roya? Will it do?"

[Esplin 9466 Primary]

Daichi looked at the paintings that where flying through the air. Daichi was well aware of the ink style jutsu, mostly because it was the basis for his own pain style jutsu. "I hate people who waste chakra just so they can show off." He sighed, disappointed that the ANBU new nothing about saving chakra. "He would need four of five birds at max and yet he summons twelve, how stupid." He looked a little close and he recognized Sorin's face from somewhere, but he couldn't figure out where. "Well if I can't remember then it must not be very important."

[Auralady]

Nura turned sharply to face Sorin and she hooverd there. Kinata sighed a breath of relief to see it wasn't one of their enemies. "Yeah thanks." and at the same time all of her summoned birds, minus Nura, disppeared so that Sorin's paint birds could take their places. Nura then dove towards the ground and landed. Kinata slid down the bird's right wing and leaned against her, "Well. Nothing to do now but wait."

 

Roya looked at Kasumi and nodded. "It will do fine my lady. I'm sure that it won't take long to get the information out of the boy without hurting him. Shei's probly calmed him down allready."

Daichi slid off of the branch he was sitting on and grabbed it just long enough to slow his decent. He pushed his leg against the tree trunk to move further away from the branches. As he got closer to the ground he had Wiz turn in to a grappling hook and latch on to a branch. Daichi used the rope to swing to the ground close to Kinata, but he miscalculated the distance and he fell to the ground on his face. "That's not how that was supposed to happen." Daichi wiped the dirt off his face as Wiz fell down on his shoulder.

[Auralady]

Kinata opened her eyes and looked at Diachi when he heard him fall. She sighed and shook her head, 'What is it with guys?' She felt Nura nudge her with a wing and the kunochi eyeed the raven. Nura acted like she hadn't done anything. Kinata gave up and walked over to Diachi. She bent down and offered him her hand laughing a little bit but smiling, "I'm surprised you're as a good a fighter as you are with your constently falling on the ground like this. Come on." Kinata had to hand it to her teamate though. He did make her laugh a lot and was a really good fighter.

[Esplin 9466 Primary]

"lets just hope I never have to do that while I'm fighting a strong opponent." He took Kinata's hand and pulled himself up and dusted off his pants. He then heard a small squeaking noise coming fro Wiz which he recognized as laughter. "You didn't!" The small creature merely nodded. "You did that on purpose you stupid little rabbit!" Daichi tried to grab Wiz but he was too slow, the small creature had already escaped his grasp. Daichi tried again to grab him as Wiz jumped through the air and on to Kinata's shoulders. By the time Daichi realized where Wiz had jumped it was too late to stop himself. "Crap"

[Auralady]

Kinata tried to jump out of Diachi's way but her plan didn't work so well. When Diachi lept at Wiz on her shoulder and collided with her the two chunin fell backwards. Kinata could have cought herself on a near by tree trunk but instead she swore she felt a light push from the side and the pair fell to the floor instead. When she opened her eyes Kinata found her face level and pushed up against Diachi's. At first she just stared at him trying to regain her thoughts and speech and pulled away quickly. "Umm...well then....", Kinata still found herself lost for words. She untangled herself from her teamate and sat next to him leaning up against the tree, trying to avoid his gaze untill she stopped blushing. This was somewhat easier when she directed her fury at a laughing Nura, "NURA! You just singed your own death warrent!", she yelled giving the raven a death glare. Nura just laughed and looked the other way grinning.

[Esplin 9466 Primary]

Daichi pulled away, his face burning red. "I thought pets where supposed to help there masters." He noticed Wiz try to leap away, but this time Daichi was too fast and grabbed him by the back of the neck. "If i didn't know any bedder i would say these two are spies." He help Wiz up at eye level. "I know a few torture methods, maybe we could put them to use." Daichi laughed as the scared Wiz squirmed and tried to escape his grip. He stood up and looked from Wiz to Nura and finally to Kinata and then back ti Wiz. "I can't take the temptation anymore. I'm gonna do something I've been wanting to do for a long time." At this Wiz started squirming even more until finally Daichi dropped him. Before Wiz even hit the ground and kissed Kinata's lips.

[Auralady]

Kinata's first reaction was fury as her temper spiked more so then before. Not even Kurei and his little comments had driven her temper this high. She sat there not moving trying to calm her temper back down to normal. She eventually succeeded and slowly pushed Diachi away. Kinata looked at him, "So when you say 'a long time' exactly how long? Not that it matters, I'm just curious. Oh and next time do me a favor and warn me.", she asked raising an eyebrow but smiling at him. Nura sighed and grinned at the pair, "Finally." Kinata snaped her head towards the bird, "Don't think you're out of the woods yet Nura! I just hope sensei wasn't watching us from the bushes or something.", she glared at the bird. Nura only laughed. At the last thought Kinata scanned the surrounding trees for any signs of their sensei or the others.

Daichi stepped back a few paces. "H-how long?" He smirked slightly. "About a week. Not really a long time, but oh well." After a few seconds Wiz jumped on his shoulder and squealed playfully. "You're not off the hook yet ether you little fuzzball." Wiz tried to jump away but Daichi grabbed him out of the air and held him by the head. "Now about your punishment." Before Daichi could say anything ells Daichi's eyes snapped open and he turned towards the rain village. "Somebody set off one of my traps." Wiz grabbed on to Daichi's shoulder as he ran off to find out who or what had set of his trap. As he got closer to the rain village his paced slowed, only slightly though, as he had to step in the places that traps had not been placed. When he finally arrived he was not very surprised to find that the person who had set off his trap was Arashi. The trap that had been set off was fire based, which allowed Arashi to block the attack without much trouble. "Hey Daichi, sorry about the trap."
