Years Later (Naruto RP) (started and accepting)

Kinata was about to go help Arashi. "Kinata.", Nura cought Kinata's attention. KInata fallowed the raven's gaze to the treeline. In the tree's she saw the womenrunning through a series of hand signs behind Shikoya. "Shikoya! MOVE!", she yelled racing over running through her own hand signs and a shadow clone appeared next to her. The clone created an orb of blue chakra in her palm and disappeared. Kinata charged the tree the women ninja was hiding in. "Rasengan!", she yelled and thrust her palm to the three trunk. The tree splintared in half and the women jumped out of the tree and landed in front of Kinata. "Well now. Someone is full of surprises.", she laughed.

Both of the opposing ninja charged Daichi and attacked with there swords. Daichi was able to block both swords, but he did not have time to block a kick from each ninja which caused Daichi to fly back in to a tree. Daichi tried to steady himself, but he didn't have time before an arsenal of shuriken flew at him. "Damn." He put up his arms to protect his vital organs as the barrage of weapons dug in to his body. "Crap." He grabbed one of the shuriken that had lodged itself in to his arm, he was about to throw it but both ninja came at him and started attacking without mercy. After a few blows Daichi was thrown in to a bush a few feet away. "Damn you some of a......" This voice came from the bushes, but it had a hint of darkness in it. When the bushes moved to the side Kurei was the one standing where Daichi had been thrown. "Now you die!" With the exception of the part he was holding, wind chakra surged through the entirety of his Kamas even the chain attaching them was as sharp as a sword. Both of the opposing ninja charged him with weapons ready to attack. As the ninja got closer Kueri threw one of the Kamas at one of the ninja, the ninja dodged and the weapon flew past him and lodged itself in to a tree. Kurei slashed and cut the sides of the other ninja and then ran past. The chain followed Kurei and, moving with Kurei's speed, sliced both ninja in half. "You should have taken Daichi's advice and left when you still had the chance." The weapons transformed back in to Wiz and landed on Kurei's shoulder.

Began performing hand signs, when he was finished Lightning began surging through his body. "Lightning armor!" He slammed his fist in to the ground, although the punch didn't to anything, lightning was forced in to the ground. He looked at the earth element user and saw him finishing a number of hand seals. "Mud dragon jutsu." The man placed his hands on the ground, but nothing happened. Arashi smirked slightly. "Lightning beats earth." He dashed at the man with the speed granted from the lightning armor and grabbed the man by the throat and slammed him in to the ground. "Chidori Current!!" Arashi sent a surge of lightning through the mans body and knocked him out." When Arashi was sure the man was still alive he turned to the other opponent just as the lightning diapered from his body. "Rain cloud jutsu!" Arashi began performing hand seals, when he was finished a rain cloud appeared over there head and it started raining." This time without using hand signs he raised is right hand in to the air and it was filled with lightning. "Kirin!" Arashi threw the lightning hand forward and with a blast of light lightning shot through the rain and straight through the ninjas chest. When the rain cleared the ninja was laying on the ground out cold.

Kinata noticed Kurai taking Diachi's place and was surprised. "Wind style! Sand Devestation!", a large wind picked up and headed for KInata. The women sent a round of shurikan right behind. When the weapons met the jutsu their speed increased with the speed of the wind. "Earth style! Exploding Mountain!", the wind was slowed down by the pillars of earth erupting from the ground and the shurikan lodged themselves into the rock instead of Kinata. Kinata knew she had better end it, "Shadow Clone jutsu!" The woemn tensed, "Going to try that little trick on me again?", she waited. Kinata only smiled and narrowed her eyes, "Rasengan!" She thrust her palm into the earth in front of her. This sent of a shockwave and caused the ground to crumble. The women was thrown back into a boulder and slumped to the ground. Kinata stood up straight panting, 'I had to use two Rasengan in succesion didn't I?' She pulled the kunei out of her shoulder wincing before glaring at Kurai in a 'Shut-Up' kind of way. She walked over to Kurai and pulled a sjurikan fron his arm maybe a little too hard. "Sit down.", she said firmly and calmly.

Other than a slight wince, Kurei showed no signs that he noticed the shuriken had been pulled from his arm. "Why would I do that?" Kurei commented as he removed each of the shuriken from his body. "I'm not weak enough so that I need medical attention from something like this." He pulled the last shuriken from his chest and threw it too the ground. Blood covered large portions of his body, and he looked slightly tired, but he did his best not to show any signs of pain. "Show off." Daichi mumbled in Kurei's head. "Would you rather me make you look like a wimp?" Kurei replied, after which Daichi didn't say anything.

Kinata looked at Kurai indifferently, "Would you just do as I say for a few minutes? I would really like it if I didn't have to block your chakra or paralyze you...unless you want to bleed to death." She dropped the shurikan in her hand and set her bag down. After a minute Kinata stood up again with a bubble of liquid held to her palm by chakra. With her free hand Kinata took Kurai's arm. "This is going to be somwhat uncomfortable but you have to hold still or I will paralyze you.", Kinata threatened mildly. She placed her palm on Kurai's wound and used her chakra to send it out into him. She tightened her grip slightly to keep him from pulling away from her. 'What the hell's going on? Diachi was attacked by shurikan, not Kurai. And where did he come from anyway? I'll ask later.', her head was swirling with questions but she stayed focused.

Kurei was about to yank away, but decided he would rather not be paralyzed. "Sometimes I really hate medical ninjas." He grumbled as Kinata put the chakra in to hos body. "It feels so weird." Next Arashi stepped through the trees to where they where standing. "Where's Daichi?" He then noticed the dead ninja and frowned. "Was that really necessary?" He asked looking at Kurei, who he assumed was the culprit. An evil smile spread across Kurei's face. "Maybe. Maybe not. I guess we'll never find out."

Kinata felt a complusion to slap Kurei but shook her head. "Well you're not exactly the ideal pateint yourself Kurei.", she said letting go of his arm. "This is going to be a long partnership.", she sighed. After healing Kurei she walked over to Arashi. When she was satisfied their sensei hadn't retained any physical injuries she turned her attention to Wiz. She knew bruses healed on their own but there was no harm in helping the process along. Kinata did the same thing for Wiz as she did for Kurei. Then she stood and wrapped her shoulder, "Where is Diahi anyway? The last time I saw him he was hit with shurikan and fell into the bush." She looked at Kurei expectingly.

"Daichi?" Kurei thought about how he could answer the question, but he couldn't think of anything. "Um... Wiz, wanna help me out a bit?" He looked at Wiz who had decided to rest on Kinata's shoulder, but Wiz was already sleeping. Kurei sighed. "Lets just say, me and him are the same person and leave it at that." Arashi moved closer and examined Kurei's face. "Now that I look a little closer, you do resemble him slightly." Kurei glared at Arashi slightly. "Anyways. For the moment Daichi is in a little house created by our minds."

It took Kinata a minute to process everything. She patted Wiz's head and then looked closer at Kurei. Arashi was right. They had few resemblences but, when you looked, you saw them. "Two different people sharing one body. Still you two are completely different from echother." It was hard for Kinata to grasp but the more she thought about it the more sense it made. The sudden apprences and disapperences. Diachi yelling at himself at the vilage. Now it all made sense. Nura disappeared in a puff of smoke ehind the three of them.

"Would there really be any point of having two of us if we where the same in every way?" Kurei asked sarcastically. "I am the physical embodiment of all of the anger and hatred that Daichi refuses to release on to the world. The more hatred he hold in, the stronger and more bloodthirsty I become." He leaned on to a tree. "Don't get me wrong. I may be filled with hatred, but I'm no traitor. So I wont hurt you unless you give me a good reason. Arashi smiled and placed his hand on Kurei's head. "Well now that that's over with......" He stopped when he felt a blade pressed against his midsection. "Remove your hand, or I take away your manhood." A sweat dropped from his forehead as he stepped away from Kurei. "Sorry."

KInata laughed and rolled her eyes, "Guys." She looked at the two of them, "Anyway. I tink what Arashi Sensei was trying to say was we had better get a move on to the Rain village. It's not that far off now and if there are any survivors then we had better get to them soon as possible." 'Oh yeah. This is going to be a very long partnership.', she said to herself. KInata started walking off towards the woods and disappeared into the trees. A few minutes later her voice came back to Arashi and Kurei, "Hey slowpokes. You two comming or what?!" Kinata stopped on on high ree limb. SHe sat down on it watching the path and waiting for her fellow Chunin and the Jonin to catch up with her. She looked at Wiz who had apperntly not gotten off her shoulder yet and grinned. She looked from the rabbit-like creature to path again. They had to get to the Rain Village as soon as possible and the fight with the rouge ninjas had taken a lot of time.

"Shut up!" Both Kurei and Arashi yelled at the same time as they ran behind Kinata. Kurei jumped on to the tree branch and glared at Wiz. "You traitor. You're supposed to be my pet. How could you go running around with this girl?" Wiz started getting scared. "Come here you little..." Kurei reached out to grab Wiz, but the small creature bit him in the hand. "Ouch! You little rodent. I swear if Daichi didn't like you so much I would roast you alive." Arashi stood on another tree branch watching Kurei. "He must have a death wish. In my experience, being mean to an animal in front of a girl is the same as signing a death warrant."

Kinata's hand came up behind Kurei and slapped him in the back of the head, "Would you relax!! Stop threatening him and he'll stop comming to me all the time!" "So he rode on my shoulder for awhile and bit you. It's really no surprise when you think about it. But if it'll avoid you roasting him alive.." Kinata reached up onto her shoulder and picked Wiz up. She placed him down onto the tree branch. "There.", she pointed to Wiz looking at Kurei, "What's the point of roasting him alive anyway? I thought he was usefull as a weapon. You want to roast a usefull weapon alive?" Kinata jumped up onto a higher branch to get a better look and get away from Kurei for a second. The sun was setting soon and the village wasn't too far off. KInata jumped down and landed back on the branch where Kurei and Wiz were. "It's goting to get dark soon but the Hidden Rain isn't far off by the looks of it.", she said standing up.

"Ouch." Kurei Grabbed his head. "Stupid rabbit." He grumbled. "Well, that's what you get for being mean to Wiz." Daichi laughed inside Kurei's head. "Shut up." A few seconds later Kurei and Daichi swapped places. "Good timing." Daichi commented sarcastically. "Okay, since it's almost dark, how about we rest up for the night. The last thing we need is another fight encase there are enemies still in the rain village." Wiz ran up his arm and on to his shoulder and grabbed a scroll from Daichi's ninja vest. "Oh, I almost forgot. I've got a portable house if anybody wants to sleep in a nice bed tonight."

[Auralady]

"Thanks Diachi but I like to sleep under the sky. That and...", Kinata looked Arashi, "I was going to take first watch. I need to practice my taijutsu anyway. I am horrible at hand to hand." Kinata smiled and kiked up from the ground. SHe jumped from tree branch to tree branch untill she was satisfied that she was high enough. Kinata cloaked herself in amoung the leafs. Then she leaned up against the tree trunk and took out a kunei and a snall stone she had picked up along the path earlier. SHe leaned against the trunk and began to sharpen the kunei. She looked out over the woods, "What a great night. I'll be able to see when I practice my taijutsu later."

"Yeah, I'm not a big fan of sleeping inside either." Daichi returned the scroll to his vest and removed another scroll from a different pocket. "I think I'll do my own kind of training before I go to bed." He opened the scroll and placed it in the ground and put his hand on it. "Summoning jutsu." With a cloud of smoke a paint set appeared in front of Daichi. It had paper, three cups of paint and more than ten different sized paint brushes. Daichi grabbed a brush, dipped in some paint and began painting. Arashi moved so that he could see. "You're a painter? Are you any good?" Arashi only had to ask the second question because it was impossible to tell from only two seconds of paint. Daichi mixed a few colors together and began moving it across the page. "You're gonna have to judge that part out for yourself. By the way, think you can full this up with water so i can rinse my brush when I'm done?" Arashi performed a single hand sign and spit a small fountain of water in to the cup with a miniature water pistol. "Kind of gross, but it'll work." Daichi commented as he continued painting the tree's that where in front of him.

[Envoy of Twilight]

Zaraii awoke quite abruptly. "What time is it?", he asked himself as he went outside. It was the early morning. "I guess I'd better start training", he said as he began to run toward the mountains he trained in. As he climbed, he thought about what he would practice today. "I know!", he said as he reached the top of the flat surfaced mountain he called his training grounds. "Earth Release, Hiding Like a Mole", he said as he the earth below him crumbled away. He fell into the hole, now unseen. "Earth Release, Dropping Lid", he said to himself quietly under the surface. Suddenly, the sun was covered for almost a minute as a large pig-face shaped lid fell from the sky onto the mountain. As it landed, it hung, the lid being much to large for the mountain. Zaraii came out of the ground and frowned. "Aww...it didn't crush the mountain...", he said as he looked at the darkness from inside the lid. He grabbed a hold of a corner inside and began to lift. It moved slightly, until finally flipping over, and turning in to smoke, as he cancelled the justsu. "Jeeze", he said as he began thinking of what to do now.

Mission accomplished. -Jinn-tu thought to himself as he leaped through the trees at high speeds back to the Hidden Leaf Village.- Some S-Rank criminal, I would of considered this to be more like a C-rank mission. Oh well?

 

-Being in the Leaf Village's ANBU black ops meant taking direct orders from the Hokage. Jinn-Tu's mission was to find and capture an S-Rank crimminal who had escapped from prison several weeks ago. He was said to be a ninja who had exceptional skills in the use of genjutsu. Boy was that wrong. A cool breeze swept by the area as he came through and jumped high on the arc of the entrance to the Hidden Leaf. Wearing his standard black and white attire with a simple black face mask over his nose and mouth followed by some bandages covering his eye. Over all of that was one of the masks that the ANBU wore. His held the appearance of a wolf creature with red markings around it. Many referred to him as Ghost, but he only wished to be called Jinn-Tu as that was his real name.-

Well I should report in to Lord Hokage.

 

-Letting out a sigh that was one the things he really did not want to do, but it did come with the job description. Looking up he let out a chuckle before disappearing into thin air to report of his mission to the hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. In fact, the more he thought about it the more he could not believe that Naruto had actually become hokage and was now the one dishing out missions and orders. It was something interesting to hold against, but orders were orders and Jinn-Tu had to follow them.-

 

-Within a matter of seconds he re-appeared outside the hokage's office. With his black hat on and the ANBU mask covering his face he stood by looking at the room. It seemed like he was gazing simply straight through it for some sort of reason. Blinking only once he lifted his hand up and knocked on the door three times; allowing a few seconds in between each knock instead of doing it quickly and effectively. Only then after did he wait for the approval to enter into the room.-

[Auralady]

"Fire Style! Pheonix Blaze Jutsu!", Kyumi yelled completing the set of hand signs. A large stream of fire sahot up into the sky over the training field. It formed into a large pheonix. THe pheonix spred it's wings before it screched and dove at a post which caused the post to becomew incinerated. The Jonin began another set of hand signs right away, "Earth Style! Leaf Blade Jutsu!" LEafs swirled around around Kyumi's hand which was outlined in chakra. THe leafs formed together into a swoprd. Kyumi lept at anouther one of the posts and sliced at it before landing on the other side in a kneeling position. The post was sliced neatly in half. "You're improving Kyumi.", Taiga appeared nect to her. "That's the point Taiga.", responded Kyumi.

Daichi continued to paint. He had started up with his habit of painting without even paying attention to the paper, this time he had gone from painting the tree's in front of him and began drawing Kinata. Her head was already finished. While his body was painting, his mind was somewhere ells, literally. In his mind Zak stood inside a small shack, complete with a television, fridge and anything that would be found in a real house. Sitting on the couch 3 feet in front of him was his alter ego Kurei, watching the television, which showed everything Daichi was looking at, the speakers had everything that Daichi was hearing. "Nice of you to drop in." Kurei said as he got up and looked at Daichi. "Want a drink?" He tossed a can of Coke to Daichi and they both began drinking.

Naruto was looking over the various mssions when he heared the knock on the door. He smiled, "Come in Jinn-Tu."When the Jonin came into the office Naruto looked up at him, "Well. Welcome back Jinn-Tu. I suspect your mission was succesfull." After a minute Naruto continued, "Since you're here I might as well tell you the news. I am assigning you a team of three young Genin. Also I have sent Arashi and his team to investigate the Hidden Rain village which has resently been destroyed. Seeing as we don't know exactly what kind of enemy we are dealing with I want a team on stand by. I am putting Kyumi's team on stand by too."

 

Kinata finished sharpening the kunei. She tucked it away into a pocket and placed the stone in her bag. She scanned the surrounding forest, "Well I did say I wanted to practice my taijutsu. And since nothins happening its the perfect time." Kinata looked up the tree for a siutable target. Her eyes stoppd on a branch closer to the top of a tree. "Not bad.", she decited. She kicked off from the ground and lept from her hiding place. Giving it an extra burst of speed and focusing her chakra into her fist. She slammed her fist into the target branch causing it to snap. She landed back where she ahd started.

Wow, he is nearly as good as me when it comes to recognizing shinobi of the village.

 

-Saying not a word; Jinn-Tu pushed the door open and stepped into the Hokage's office. Naruto was standing looking over several files of various missions to be assigned. Soon he looked up to him and continued about the S-rank mission that he was assigned to. S-rank? More like a C-rank mission, but it was all the much better. Clearing his throat he crossed his arms behind his back and interlocked his fingers into place while listening to what lord hokage had to say. Three young genin would be assigned to him. Uncrossing his arms he lifted his left hand up and removed the mask over his face and moved it back down to his side with the mask still in his hand.-

 

-Not only that he was being put on stand-by with another team for Arashi's team who went to investigate the Hidden Rain Village that was destroyed. So the rumores' were true while he was on his way back? This could not be good. Who would do such a thing?-

 

"If I may Lord Hokage, who are these three genin that I am assigned to?"

[Auralady]

Naruto flipped through a few files. "One of them is Zaraii Takainae. From the Village Hidden in the Rocks. The other two members of your team will join you soon. I'll send them to the training fields when they arrive." Naruto suddenly became serious, "Jinn-Tu. Before you go to meet up with Zaraii I need you to alert any ANBU Black Ops in the village about the Rain Village. We don't know much now but we will once Arashi's team returns from their mission. For now I just want everyone alert."

 

Kinata repeated what she had done on anouther rock and tree branch. Tierd and deiding to take a brake Kinata leaned against the tree trunk cloaked in the leafs again. She was calm and relaxed though her senses were alert. She didn't want to risk anouther run in with enemy ninjas. Kinata looked from the forest to Diachi and Arashi below her. She noticed Diachi panting something that loked like a person but she couldn't make out the details. Sighing and deciding to brake the silence, "So Arashi Sensei. You've gone to the Rain Village on missions before?", Kinata looked down at the Jonin from her branch.

 

Kyumi had left the training field and was walking through the village. "Kyumi. Have you thought of a challenge for the new team yet?", Taiga walked next to her. Kyumi looked at Taiga and they laughed. The Jonin and ninja wolf were on their way to the Hokage's mansion to meet the new team they were assigned. "Well let's see. I thought that a survival test would make a good challenge." "Hopefully they'll be able to putyou in your place.", said Taiga. Kyumi laughed agaiin, "We'll see."

-Jinn-Tu wondered if alerting the rest of the ANBU would be necessary? Considering all that was happening, everyone needed to be prepared for the worst to happen. So far Jinn-Tu was the only one that the hokage told of this little mission to were the Hidden Rain village was. However, if even a word got out about this; it would cause the Hidden Leaf to go into a state of shock if not..... stress of if they would be the target of whoever destroyed the Hidden Rain. After much thought of the situation over alerting the ANBU to the situation seemed only best for the time. Nodding to the Lord Hokage; Jinn-Tu understood fully of what was expected until Arashi's team came back from their investigation.-

 

"Understood Lord Hokage?" -He said in a calm mannered voice.- "Is there anything else I should know about before I make my leave?"

 

-First he would alert the ANBU to the situation and then he would go to meet his team on the training grounds, and until Naruto summoned them again would be the only time that he would return to the office for the assigned task at hand. Whatever, happened to the Hidden Rain needed to be dealt with. They needed the shinobi for the job and it would be done no matter what the cost.-
